Cool place to tour. The old Ontario Northland Train station in town also holds thousands of military related items as well.

There are some really cool pieces. I could see it being a quick walk through for some but if you have an appreciation for this sort of thing it's well worth a visit.

I took my boys here last summer and they are hoping to go back by the end of this summer. They have some interesting displays and a place to even try on some of the older uniform jackets.

(Translated) If you expect the Ottawa War Museum, you will be disappointed. On the other hand, the museum has a lot of content and a lot of uniforms from various nations. It's worth the detour. The French translations leave something to be desired at times but nothing incomprehensible. If you happen to be in the area, it is advisable. (Original) Si vous vous attendez au musée de la guerre d'Ottawa, vous serez déçu. Par contre, le musée a beaucoup de contenu et énormément d'uniformes de diverses nations. Ça vaut le détour. Les traductions francophones laissent à désirer par moment mais rien d'incompréhensible. Si vous passer dans le coin, c'est à conseiller.

This museum is a hidden gem. Hidden away in the small northern town of cobalt, it’s a must see. I was in town and I message them on FB. Although they were closed during my time there, they went out of their way to meet me and the kids there. I was blown away! Such great work done in there! Be going back again!
