The tour itself should take you between 45-60mins and costs 10$ per person tx. incl. It's definitely worth going there since you'll learn a lot about Springhill's history. If you get Tony as your guide, you'll be in for a ride since he knows his stuff. Bring a lite jacket cause it can get pretty chill in the mine.

a lot on information about the miner's work, life and what happen in the history of the mine -it cost 10$ to enter and it include a guided tour. our guide was tony, excellent guide and was able to answer pretty much all our questions. the entire visit will take around 1h max maybe 1h30 if you read every newspaper on the wall. Suggestions: bring a good pair of shoes forget the sandal you will go down 300 feet in the mine. they provide helmet maybe bring a vest if you're sensitive to cold

The staff was very friendly, the visit was about 45 min. They show us the replicate of the workers barracks and the equipment they used. They have many original gear on site. One of the guides was very young but he knew his stuff very well and answered all of our questions. We also get to walk in the mines itself witch I loved, you get a better feeling of the working conditions in the mines. I would recommend this place anytime!

Very interesting place to visit. It's about terrible past events. The tour was very interesting. The guide had a very good knowledge of the history of the mines in the region. Definitely a place to visit.

Informative visit! A bit tricky for tall people to decend into the mine, but everyone puts on a hard hat for that portion of the tour. Would recommend this opportunity.

The tour guide, Tony, is very funny. The exhibits are interesting, and the tour itself is very informative. Definitely worth a stop.

The tour was great. The tour guide was especially awesome. The stories about this once booming coal mining town with the disasters since 1892 to present is heartbreaking. Must see place.

Fascinating tour with our very knowledgeable guide Tony. It's an experience like no other and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind damp, dark, creepy places with dark and sad histories. :)
