At this moment the business gets a score of 4.4 over 5 and the score was based on 52 reviews.

You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is very high, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we can be quite sure that the score is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they've done well with the business, is that it works.

We travelled from out of town to visit this Museum. Before leaving we check their web page to see what covid-19 restrictions at hours of operation where. Very disappointed to drive all this way only to be told that they're closed for decoration for Christmas why did they not put this on the web page so people could see before driving the distance we did to go to this Museum. I understand they need to close to decorate but they need to communicate better with the people that may be coming to visit will not visit again

Really cool place to go see, so much under one roof. They also have local artists show their artwork in one of the rooms as well which is nice too because it allows new growing artist. The staff are also very knowledgeable and are always to willing to show you around.

Did you know that Oscar Wilde, the Irish author and playwright, influenced Mary Ann Tillson in her decoration of the house? You will see ornate painted ceilings, elaborate inlaid wooden floors, and decorative touches throughout, making it one of the best surving examples of the Aesthetic Art Movement in Canada. This fabulous house is well deserving of its designation as a National Historic Site of Canada. The house is furnished in period furniture and sometimes you can meet some of the members of the Tillson family and hear their stories. Annandale House also hosts special activities for Turtle Fest every June, Fun Fair & Open House on July 1st, summer Sundays with music on the lawn, Thursday evening yoga on the lawn, historic walking tours and too many other activities to mention here.

Lovely visit, only the main floor though. The tour guide was great. What bothered me was the explanation of why we can’t visit the top floor- the wood banister gets damaged by the disinfecting solutions (which I understand). I guess there are solutions to go around it…how about covering the banister with plastic? Or other kind of protection fabric?!
