If you love Art & Nature, you will enjoy this. Such a whimsical park with raw undisturbed nature leading you to the elevated park. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the view or interact with the musical sculptures. This is a well maintained and under surveillance so very safe. Wonderful addition to St. Thomas and a must see!, I would allow at least and hour to fully enjoy!

It's a great start. I'm hoping they take it a lot further, though. Not solely with the modern art pieces, but gardens, vendors, music (live as well as through speakers). If it's going to be an effective tourist attraction it needs to be Stratford-level work.

Disappointed. This was our final trip on a day long exploration. The entrance has a beautiful flower garden. But the actual park is fenced in such a way that it is impossible to experience the height, and therefore the true purpose of an elevated park. I was disappointed with not being able to look down. I saw picnic tables on the internet as I was looking up this place but they were fenced off and inaccessible. Too bad. I know it is a work in progress, still I cannot foresee this place reaching it's full promise.

It's only in the early stages and I can see the opportunities that this park has. Come out for a quick visit if you haven't already done so.

This is an amazing space. The elevated park is a one-of-a-kind treasure. Once the decking iscompleted it will be the most amazing space to take a walk and visit and chat with friends. The views from the top of the bridge are second-to-none in St Thomas, Ontario. It can be a place to hang out relax and just take in the scenery. As part of the Trans Canada trail, it adds a unique history to the trail system. The double rail is a safety feature buy also allows you to have unobstructed views to the north and south. Our family was lucky enough to ride Thomas the Tank over this bridge in 2006, during A Day Out With Thomas The Tank. Being a park will now only add to these memories.

Beautiful park built on a former rail bridge. The park is over 100 feet high and includes some trees, sculptures, and has beautiful views of the forests and a stream below. It connects to a trail as well which is great for a longer walk in the forest. Especially great spot to catch the sunset.

We had heard of this community funded project and just had to see it. The park is a little hard to find, so just go west on Centre Street until you see it. It's still a work in progress, but is a terrific way to see the fall colours. Nice to see the heritage of the Railway City being preserved now that the tracks are gone

This is an amazing elevated park on a historic train trestle. It is accessible by car about 300m from the park. Easily accessible by foot and bike, but not by wheel chair. It offers stunning vistas and places of reflection. It is an easy walk of perhaps 45 mins from start to finish if you park in the historic old town of St. Thomas.

This was our first visit to see the Elevated Park and it most certainly did not disappoint. No shortage of parking and very easy to find. Was expecting there might be a playground but still enjoyed the walk in nature and got some great pictures too.

Amazing view from uptop the bridge. The gardens will be great when finished. This is the first elevated garden built. The old train bridge is a historic site in St Thomas. St Thomas is famous for trains so this is a perfect place for this garden. There's the train museum close by to see as well along with the old church that's nearby to the elevated park.

It's very nice on the elevated bridge almost any time of the year but I'd advise to be careful on windy days so you don't have anything blown away off the bridge. There's also a library box where you can borrow books or put books away for others to read, not to mention video surveillance on the bridge 24/7.

It's so cool that Canada's first elevated park is in St Thomas! The town is always growing, but has retained its quaint small-town roots. After a leisurely visit to the park with its ever-growing collection of fascinating sculptures, you can visit nearby Jumbo, then head to downtown Talbot Street to shop the many quirky shops there. With the beach and Port Stanley a short 15 minutes away, you can't go wrong with a stay in St Thomas!

This will likely be an unfair review in a couple of years. Right now it's pretty limited. It's only half done, the wooden floor isn't installed, and there only a few pieces of art up. A Beautiful well-maintained free attraction in the outskirts of St. Thomas. My family and I stopped by this elevated high-park back in late Aug 2021 (reminded me from the one in New York) but much smaller scaled. No matter how small, it was extremely clean, well-maintained, with little playground-like structures. Best part was the scenic views the attraction offered.

30 years ago I saw two freight trains crossing the bridge at same time and it was my earliest memory of the Railway City. Having it as park is wonderful, but I do hope that trains will come back St Thomas in the future and should for a railway town, one can dream right? This special "eagles peak" is amazing! I love going up sitting down on the grass and relaxing. Once an awhile bang on the chimes with the kids. The best experience is being up so high looking down on everything else. It's quiet high up it gives us all the tingles!

I found this place unexpectedly. It was an incredible surprise walking in the old train routes because now they are a small park. You can found a small library where you can leave a book and take another. If you know about music you can play some pipes and create music ( no was my case ????) . Great view! Nice experience!

This park is not very good has an opening at one end. A wall in 2feet from the outside . can't get to the outside to look over the side there is a fenced in area they have planted trees in steel buckets 6 are dead don't know we're this is heading to supposed to open up to go right accros the bridge but not any time soon

It was also a little hard to get there, I Googled and no instructions, decided to walk from where Jumbo is and kind of follow my sense of location lol and finally made it there, glad we walk since there is no parking. Its a place that has a lot of potential

This park is a great addition to St. Thomas! Instead of tearing down the old railway tressel it has been re-purposed to a small park. The old railway line is now a trail, and the tressel makes it convenient to cross the valley and Kettle Creek. The addition of artwork makes this a unique undertaking. Goderich has had an old tressel converted to a trail for a long time, but it is not as wide, so there is no opportunity for a park like in St. Thomas.

An unique, small, linear park that is good for stretching your leg. Provide a good vantage point to the outskirt of the city. Not a "must go" location to visitors, but certainly a nice place to relax.
