It's a nice place to walk and bird watch. You'll see several types of birds, muskrats, Beavers and the occasional moose here. There is a nice boardwalk that takes you right through the wet land area so you feel like you're really immersed in it. My favorite time to visit is right around sunset.

Very nice place. Nature close to city. Though almost from any place you can hear bust highway 16. You can see birds, deers and probably a moose. Short walk, maybe you can circle it in 30 minutes. Good place to bring kids to show them nature without long drive. You can also bring your four legged buddy. Also the place has a washroom. It,s maintained by volunteers and there are a couple boxes for donations.

Cody Zary (SLdr. Cody)

A great place close to the city to connect with nature. A variety of waterfowl alongside some songbirds. Be prepared for wind, moreso on cooler days.

Lovely place for bird lovers. You can see quite a variety here. Also a nice place to go for a quiet evening stroll. We usually go there to take bird photos and rarely are we disappointed. I would like to visit this lake from the other side. May be there are hidden gems to be discovered.

This is a fantastic experience on a raised boardwalk over a wetland area. This area is within the Lois Hole Provincial Park. There are washroom facilities here and also picnic tables. There are lots of interpretative information boards about this wetland area along the boardwalk. We visited in the winter time and it was very nice. The only negative was that the boardwalk was very icy so proceed at your own risk.

Nice place for a walk and the birds are awesome.

Carlos Cachicamo

I had quite a few lovely summer walks here. Theres a lot of information boards all throughout the walkway. Theres even a fewer areas that drop down even closer to the water. Always seems to have a moderate amount of people there. Definitely a place to bring your kids and maybe they might learn something new.

Paths were well kept, wildlife was plentiful and nature was majestic. Remember your sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, as there is little to no shade to be had.

Good place to see the etiology and the development of landscape from ice age.
