My wife and I got to stop and see this excellent Submarine Musuem on your way through Rimouski on the way to Gaspé. We happened to be there on the 1st Sunday of the month, which meant that access to the site was FREE!! The Submarine tour takes approximately 1 hour as you pass through the subamrine with an audio tour. Some of the bulkheads are hard to get through but it simply shows you how difficult the life of a submariner really was! This is a definite Must See!

This tour of the submarine was fantastic. Very good guide on the radios while we went through the submarine. Great experience for our kids. We were pressed for time so didn’t do the museum portion of the tour. Highly recommended though. Great place to stop. Beautiful views of the st.Laurence and light house.

La qualité et le détail des informations reçues font de cette activité une expérience inoubliable pour les amateurs du genre comme moi, amateur d'histoire de guerres mondiale et de guerre froide. De plus, il est possible de prendre des photos tout le long de la visite, question d'immortaliser davantage notre visite. Seul point négatif, les arrêts se succèdent rapidement, ce qui peut causer un certain embouteillage à l'intérieur du sous-marin, avec une impression parfois de devoir progresser plus rapidement pour suivre le rythme des gens qui nous succèdent, ou le contraire, d'être retenu par les gens au devant. Et bien sûr, il s'agit d'un espace relativement clos, donc il n'est pas évident de contourner les gens dans l'appareil. Mais outre ce point, l'expérience a été mémorable dans notre cas!
