The Stompin Tom Centre located in the tiny hamlet of Skinner's Pond, PEI puts on a terrific comedy dinner theater that tells stories of Stompin Tom. The food is excellent and the actor/musician who plays Tom is extremely talented. At only $43 per person which includes the meal and the entire show, it is one of the best deals to be found on the Bright Red Mud - also known as the island of PEI.

A great place to visit with family or friends. Live music, food, museum and gift shop. The prices are reasonable and it is well kept.

Sheila kunes

Nice but more memorabilia would be good. But pricey. Lousy Singer on day we were there but neat to see stompin Tom's old homestead. If you love stompin Tom you have to visit skinners pond.

Great Canadian icon. Homestead and school house

Lauro Monteiro

An excellent little place, actual museum is tiny but interesting, loved the school house. The gift shop was good and they have live music during the season. Didn't eat there or see the entertainment but it was worth the drive and visit. Next time we'll come for a show.

A beautiful experience, learning more about our Tom, our Canadian homegrown music Maker!

Paul Weber

As a Canadian musician I felt I needed to visit this place. We went only for the museum, didn't try the the restaurant and there wasn't any show when we were there. The displays were simple and somewhat vague in their description. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The price for a family seemed high given the museum is essentially one little room and an old school house. For close to same price you can get into large scale national museums. Reading between the lines it seems clear that Tom was essentially an indentured labourer while in Skinners Pond. Sad story,

(Translated) Despite the fact that I adored and above all be very surprised by the story of strong, interesting, overwhelming stompin Tom. . It remains to me that the site itself (free anyway) offers very little to see. . And personally, I find it a shame that the main attraction ultimately says a souvenir shop. So ideal for adults and connoisseurs, for others ...

4 of us went for dinner and drinks. The food was great. Everyone was smiling and very courteous. The ordering process was unique but worked well. On our second visit we attended Jimmy Flinn. Lots of laughs for sure and it was a full house. The food service was quick and delicious. Good selection of drinks at a average price. The only complaint i heard from anyone there was that seating was a bit tight and there were a lack of menus and napkins on the tables. A great experience we will be checking out the dinner theater soon!

We went late in the season. They had a nice little gift shop. The food was not that great. The lobster roll definitely was flavorless and tasted not fresh. My Moms fish and chips tasted like frozen fish as well. If you want real lobster save your money.

Tina Storms

Best ever!!!

A good tribute to the legacy of a great Canadian and musician. Free music featuring local musicians daily from 1pm to 2pm and some evenings! Built on Tom's original childhood home and school. There's an upper deck, and a kitchen that serves pub styled food as well. Good little stop and drive to on the West coast of PEI.

Ivan Affonso

Really cool to tranform his old house into a center to remember his life

This was a typical nfld kitchen party .. you order your food at the counter, they bring it to you in a big room with tables, you order your alcoholic drink from inside thd big room/kitchen, then a gentleman (sorry don't remember his name) plays the guitar and sings songs from stompin tom and other requested songs from the audience of Canadian song writters music. That would be the 1 hour day time show. The dinner theatre was completely booked up for the the following night. Book well in advance.. I was a little disappointed that we could not get tickets. It was alot of good time memories for me when I visited the island of Newfoundland
