I am really not the artsy fartsy type. I wasn't at the art gallery. My brother, and I were out on Little Lake, dropping some spoons through the ice. I caught a small musky. I snagged it by the tail. Took forever to reel up, but successfully released.

One of the signs of a fully functional city is the presence of an art gallery which shows off the works of the local citizenry. This place fits that bill and is quick and enjoyable for people who appreciate art. Be sure to check out the store after you're done. There are lots of things to buy!

Amazing art collections and surprisingly it's free entry. They have 6 pieces of my favorite artist - Andy Warhol. Unbeatable view and very friendly staff. Location is simply gorgeous.

Very nice little space that shows off local artist. Each exhibit tells a story. The art studio offers classes and free monthly family walk in craft days the first Sunday of each month.

An old house turned into museum with a modern twist. The ramps are worth touring the art that's spaced nicely on the walls. The gift shop was overflowing with local crafts and unique finds.

Exhibits well selected. Change frequently. Often a definite "Canadian" orientation. Especially appreciated are the works of art reflective of indigenous perspective.

Right now, there is a gorgeous exhibit of photographs of Antarctica. The exhibits change regularly, some will be more appealing to different people than others but it is always interesting. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

We always have a good experience at the gallery. I would however like to see the artwork of more local artists if at all possible, and work that is less esoteric and more accessible. If I have to sit there and scratch my head wondering what I'm looking at, I don't call that art work a success. In my opinion.

It was Father's Day and my girls took me to the Art Gallery. What a very thoughtful outing. They don't particularly care for galleries but they know that I do so.... we went to a gallery. Art is all about how it makes you feel, and I was very moved. We then went upstairs to do a craft. Laurel was very supportive and helped us make bird masks. Most of the other kids in there were about three years old, mine are in their twenties but they took me out to make a craft...
