Forest is beautiful but you need to join a tour to get in.

I drove 4hrs there and 4 hours back home JUST to see this mine tour! The drive alone is so beautiful ???? but the approximately 2km hike made the experience completely worth it! The landscape comes alive, sparkling away as you get closer to the mine. The mine itself is small but the cool air is refreshing and you can visually see a bunch of rock formations. Big thank you to my guide Peter who made the experience informative and fun!

Great place to step back in time. A little slippery getting down into the mine, so hold on to the little one's hands!

Dan Berty

Short hike. Lots to see - especially if Ontario Parks staff are present and mine is open. Better to go from mid June onward.

Yevgeniy Shibaev

Looks ok. It takes longer to walk from the parking lot to the mine than the actual mine tour.

What an amazing piece of history. Mark does a fantastic job of explaining everything. I was fascinated by the mine and how cold it was.
