Attention, vous devrez débourser les frais d'entrée au parc de l'île une fois rendu sur l'île. Prévoyez trois heures pour vous rendre à la colonie de fous de Bassan, faire le Picnic et revenir. Prenez le sentier du chemin-du-roy pour revenir. Vous y verrez de jolies maisons, dont certaines sont visitable. Une fois l'île visitée, vous reprendrez le bateau pour retourner à la ville. Le trajet prend 10 minutes.

On voit encore une fois le capitalisme bien à l'oeuvre dans notre société. Quel dommage que cela vienne noircir l'image d'une nature préservée par les parcs Sepaq.

Protégez vos enfants, j'ai pensé perdre les miens en mer. Ma soeur (30 ans) a perdu pied pour protèger son neveu de 8 ans et s'est fortement blessée. Je me sens coupable de les avoir laisser devant le bateau. Je sais pertinemment qu'il a eu un manquement de la part des capitaines et des communications. On devrait, à prime abord, offrir un gilet de sauvetage lors de grands vents et interdire l'accès aux enfants en bas de 12 ans au devant du bateau. Pour une première fois en bateau, cela semblait banal comme journée dans l'attitude du capitaine, ce qui nous a influencé dans le choix d'être en avant et de vivre quelques éclaboussement, mais c'était des chaudières d'eau glacé et nous avons vécu le pire des vagues. Environs 20 à 25 noeuds en peu de temps ça a dégénéré. J'ai réussi à retourner mes enfants et ma soeur en sécurité... well. ... l'équipage est super sympathique et on surment tiré une leçon et une nouvelle perception de comment gérer les téméraires. Shame on me ! Le rapport accident a été rempli. Ps.: on en a eu pour notre argent ? Non... finalement ... j'en suis traumatisé.

Des prises de vue à couper le souffle, on voit des cormorans, des fous de bassan, des petits pingouins, des petits et gros phoques. Le bateau s’approche d’ailleurs de l’ile à quelques occasions pour que l’on puisse mieux voir les oiseaux. Ce n’est pas trop long et l’on peut débarquer sur l’ile Bonaventure pour faire une randonnée. Le périple du retour se fait rapidement en 15 minutes.

They gave a tour around Perce Rock and Bonaventure island before dropping us off. It took about 45 mins. If you get sea sick, I highly recommend you take something for it.

Overpriced cruise. Extra $10 for the park at Bonaventure Island and the highlight of the island - the gannet birds are on the opposite side which requires 1 hour hike so if you take the 2pm boat, there is no time to get back for the last boat back at 4 pm :/ Even the boat ride was too bumpy, lots of people got sea sick as the sea was rough and 45 min trip 1 way was not smooth at all :/ No life jackets were provided and people were allowed to stand outside risking lives. Lastly, it was fully occupied, no proper measures were taken for COVID except mandatory masks. We thought it will be partially filled to take measures but was not the case as it was crowded. Not much info was provided by the crew about the gaspe rock and surrounding areas. Not taking this ride again.

Great trip. They narrate in English after the French and for what seems a much shortened narration.The boat was large enough to provide confidence. You travel to both sides of Perce then around Bonaventure Island. You can get off at the island and catch a later ferry and enjoy the restaurant and some old buildings and a 6 km walk around. However there is a park fee for entering the island. The gate keeper was willing to trust me and my wife, seniors, to only use the restaurant but we paid our fee anyway and explored a little and enjoyed the ambience and the historical buildings.

Took the last trip of the season this month to Bonadventure Island and it was the best cruise and best tourist moments ever. Boat is nice enough to give you an authentic feeling of sailing, there is a great narration in English and French and the prices are good. On this cruise, you get to see many whales, grey seals and the world's largest bird colony of its type. You can get off and explore the island too. Enjoyable.

We took the boat from Perce to Bonaventure Island, where you can get off and explore the island for an additional fee. The hikes on the island are between 45 mins and 1.5 hrs but be warned, this is only one-way. Some of the hikes are quite steep and one involves lots of stairs so assess your mobility before you pay the fee. There is also a restaurant with an excellent view of the dock. The boat ride to the island was very nice. They take you around Perce Rock so lots of photo opportunities there. The tour guide part of it was in both French and English but difficult to hear over the sound of the boat. They take you completely around Bonaventure Island which allows you to see the birds (one of the largest colonies) as well as seals sunning themselves and some of the old buildings. The dock is pretty at Bonaventure and you are allowed to take any boat back whenever you wish. One difficulty is that the ticket sellers for the boat cruise appears to be family members and the younger kids are not fluent in English. We were able to get by using an app on my husband's phone.
