The days open and hours were a little disappointing consider we worked our schedule to be there the long weekend. Being a tourist town we had high hopes that the long weekend would have been the perfect time to catch the Bobby exhibit. There were a few others that arrived the same time we did having the same thoughts. Not sure when we will have the chance again to see one of our all time favorites.

Bobby Orr is one of the most respected and beloved hockey players of all time.He reinvented the game and has set hard to reach NHL records.Most points by a defenceman in a season 139;best plus/minus stats in a season +124;the first player to surpass 100 points while getting 100 penalty minutes;He is the only player to win the Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe, Hart, Art Ross and Norris trophies in a single season (1969-70). He is the only NHL defenseman to have nine hat tricks in his career, and in 1970-71 set single-season records for assists (102). He led the League in assists five times. I love the interactive shooting game in the exhibit.The gift shop has some really great souvenirs and items within it.

This is such a great venue. In Parry Sound it has to be one of the nicest. I have shot a few weddings here over the years and it is such a beautiful spot to take photos. Highly recommend it.

The facility is beautiful. Hall of Fame was fun and reasonably priced but needs some repairs on the shooting games. We will come back when we are in the area again. Kids love it.

I recently visited the area and even though I was never specifically a Bobby Orr fan I am a hockey fan so I had to stop in. The Hall of Fame is relatively small, but nice. On the lower level they have Bobby Orr memorabilia from his youth hockey days in Parry Sound to his final NHL season and post-player days, and everything in between. "The Goal" obviously takes a central and prominent stage. On the upper level they have a few more of his trophies and awards but most of it is dedicated to interactive games for the kids (in age and at heart). They of course have a gift shop as well. I wouldn't say it by itself is worth a visit to Parry Sound but if you're in the area its definitely worth an hour or two of your time. Based on the signs and advertisements in the lobby area they also seem to have regular musical performances. I was only there for part of a day so I couldn't attend one but would definitely try if I am in Parry Sound again.

The nicest place I've ever been to for a wedding or special event. Right on Georgian Bay, this place has a spectacular view of the water and is beautiful on the inside.

Went to many concerts at this hall, the sound is great and the place is just amazing. The views from the patio are stellar. go visit the bands on the bay, it is a free concert and well worth it!

If your a Bobby Orr fan, this is the place to go. Lots of memorabilia of Bobby's career from the Parry Sound Hockey Club to the Oshawa Generals to the Boston Bruins. Nice little gift shop where the two girls working there where very friendly and helpful. Awesome place!
