How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, October 28, 2017, 1 - 4 pm. Another example of why the Stratford Pert Museum is such an asset to our community. Fun, games, and how to assemble an actual survival kit.

Cute small museum. It held the Justin Bieber exhibit (since he originated from the area).

Must visit one you are in Stratford.

This little museum has heart! Very reasonable entry cost and they work hard to make their displays interesting. Change it up each year sometimes in conjunction with the plays going on with the festival which brings more life into the plays. Some displays can be interactive depending upon the year and subject. Definitely worth a visit!

A great place to learn about Justin Bieber BUT also a great place to learn about the history or Perth County. Who knew Janice Joplin's guitarist was from Stratford?!

Wow a big collection of history is in this building. Don't let the size fool you. It has a big addition on the back. Each room is a different exhibit as well. Beautiful museum and worth the visit. Very reasonable admission prices too.

My friends and I drove from Ohio to see the Justin Bieber exhibit and were disappointed to see that there was a power outage when we arrived. HOWEVER, the staff was EXTREMELY AWESOME and gave us a flashlight tour! We were able to take pictures and see Justin's awards/paraphernalia.

Tristan Urry

Fantastic museum to spend an afternoon in while in Stratford!

Michael Rayner

The former house is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. Compared to museums in surrounding counties it is quite small and the exhibits aren't very engaging considering the rich and diverse history of the city and county. Unfortunately I didn't get to explore the trails outside due to poor weather. I would like to check them out sometime. If you're in town and you're looking for an indoor activity it might be worth a look (the admission is affordable) but I wouldn't go out of the way to visit.

What a gem this museum is! Visited to experience the Justin Bieber with my daughter. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the displays were both interesting and eye catching. The chalkboard where visitors can leave messages for JB is a great idea. Large variety of merchandise available from low to high prices. We also enjoyed the railroad exhibit on the other side.

Fun place to stop by while you're in Stratford! They've got lots to see, and it's right on the outskirts of town. Justin Bieber exhibit recently opened up so it'll be a memorable place to visit in 2018!

I’d highly recommend if you’re in the area! Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Booked for a guided tour- turned out there was a glitch in the system, but we were still accommodated without any issues. Peg was our guide, and was very knowledgeable and thorough- we visited for the Anne Frank tour. She even gave us other recommendations for what to do and where to visit around town. Lots of great history there, and you’ll find some very cool things! If I could give this more than 5 stars, I totally would. Definitely visiting again :)

Joel Erickson

Pretty small museum with little to do. Kids (age 7-12) lost interest quickly.

William Foxboro

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The permanent collection is excellent; the visiting exhibitions, especially one on Inuit art, were engaging, and don't miss the working print shop with a 19th-century manual printing press!

Went there for the Narnia exposition. It was super cool! I love the way we had to go in the closet to get in the exposition. Really nice setting! :)

Fairly quiet (in October) little museum that featured a collection of quilts depicting imagery of life in Canada, and further afield on the main floor. In a separate room were displays on the history of newspaper printing in the region, and my favourite, of Stratford's firefighting history. Check out the binder which details and exhaustive list of all fire events from the town. Upstairs, are a selection of costumes and artifacts from plays, including many from Narnia. There is some WWI history here, too. There is a small gift shop.

This locally-focused museum gets a big boost with its Justin Bieber exhibit. The tribute to the international superstar's childhood and music career is in place indefinitely. Jammed by fans from all over the world when it first opened, it's quieter now. New items do arrive from Bieber's grandparents and the singer himself. The rest of the museum is standard rural Ontario fare, highlighted by firefighting equipment and newspaper printing. Spotted nothing from the famous Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

Definitely not the biggest museum I've been to, but it's a decent price for entry (with a discount for students) and there's a good amount of things to see. I was interested to see that there's actually an electric car charging station out front. The main attraction when I was there was their Justin Bieber exhibit (he's from Stratford). Not huge JB fans, but we went to see it since we were in the area anyway.

Tom Gee

We were delightfully surprised by this unassuming local museum. The displays are excellent: informative without being pedantic. A great range of objects covering the wide history of the area. And while I started with very little interest in the Justin Bieber display, having never even heard one of his songs, it was engaging display and by the end of it I appreciated him much more as a person than as a stereotyped "bad boy." And he most certainly can sing. Plus, they have a STEAM CAR! That would be worth the trip alone.

If you're in town visiting the theater, why not make the quick trip over to the Stratford Perth Museum? The museum is filled with stories of the past, from the history of the Grand Trunk Railway, to the early farmers and settlers who built the city from the ground up. If you're drawn to the museum because of the Justin Bieber Exhibit, don't forget to check out everything else out. You won't regret it.

A must see especially if you go to the Stratford Festival. Accurate and appealing presentation of the history of Startford and Perth County. Admission is very reasonable and the staff are courteous and very knowledgeable of the exhibits and what they represent.

This is a gem of a museum. They do a wonderful job bringing together interesting exhibits. It's also a bonus that many times a local student is there as a docent and share knowledge on the current exhibit. Great place.

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to the Justin Beiber Museum in Stratford, Ontario. So many real items and the actual awards, along with a strong representation of Justin's positive messages made our trip worthwhile. We were surprised and a bit disappointed that we were told that Justin Beiber was there at the museum about 2 hours before our arrival!

Jana Labean

Beautiful building and a fun museum within

Szili JsK

disappointing. rooms that could be full of furniture and farm implements from the era were full of commercial wall sized posters for the Festival Theatre (better exhibits in Stratford) and a science exhibit that had nothing to do with farm life in Perth County My guests were disapointed too. We drove to Toronto Pioneer Village.

This little museum is a very nice venue. We saw the ART QUILTS show recently and were absolutely amazed at the quality and creativity of the work displayed there. Please keep presenting such wonderful talented artists.
