We've got the information of people who have information of the services of Museum London (Museum) in the territory close to Ontario (Canada).
Nowadays the business has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is quite high, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum corresponds to the category of Museum.

Museum London is a elegant place to hold social gatherings. The third floor party room is large enough to hold a couple hundred people yet it feels quite intimate. The River Room can hold up to fifty people. It has a gorgeous view of the Forks of the Thames. It is a great downtown social location.

Pretty good regional public gallery. The kent monkman was particularly good to see.

Interesting

Stay dead opposite to this place for over a year and had never been here till I had to attend a musical symposium with my baby girls. Did not realize how much we have missed till we got here. Ample parking space around the location and the ambiance was great. The view was simply breathtaking over looking the river fork and the bridge.

The bonafide London. Best London among all London’s.

I love that it's donation only and that you give what you can. What a great inexpensive few hours out!! I also love that they display school artwork, so neat to look at!

Always classy, always interesting. A wonderful place to see, make and experience Art. Full of historical and modern adventures museum london is a staple in London's core, and is a great place to spend an afternoon.

Pay by donation, super friendly staff, beautiful art, and an amazing cafe and gift shop - what else could you want in a museum? They have vegan options at the cafe and really good espresso! (I had the vegan doughnut and it was delicious).

Wonderful local gallery/museum space with eye-catching and thought-provoking exhibitions, super friendly and helpful staff and a cute little gift shop. We saw the Ontario Cartoonists exhibition, the Merle Tingley retrospective and a fun collection of vintage Ontario book jackets. Very culturally involving. Recommended highly.

Modern arts and ways of art are exhibited..no history contribution was much added ...apart from women empowerment no ashes of London are found great.

We found it very informative to older years and how thing were done.

Very interesting collections, always different

Not too much to see there, when I went, some of the 2nd floor was empty.

Just a beautiful experience. Went with my grandchildren who are young and equally enjoyed it. They even had an art class for the little people.

The MUSEUM offers a full range of programs and services for everyone. Child to Senior. All for FREE. (Donations are encouraged). Plus it has a Cafe and Catering...and a cute gift store.

It was great learning about art and artists

view of the river valley

With the renos finished, the Museum has now changed into one of London's go to places for events, check them out.

Great for kids, adults, or catching Pokémon out front. Entry is free, they just ask for donations. Help keep art culture alive and learn and enjoy some local historical and current works.

Loved it!

We had a ton of fun here on family day 2018!

For a large building it seems empty. Always an interesting exhibit upstairs. A lot of art types just hanging out

Beautiful display of Anishinaabe artifacts!

Spacious

Great place to relax and see interesting exhibits.

Always good exhibits here

Museum London & Art Gallery, that should be its title to avoid disappointment. My visit on Canada Day convinced me that it should be closed until the renovations are completed. There is an excess number of small remote museums in the city (Some may say 'surplus') and this is illustrated by the desolate, empty, spaces on all levels here. I wonder if there is an 'association' of the London museums that could share artifacts or, perhaps (as it seems) there is a 'conflict' of museums closely guarding their small collections ... to the publics detriment. I suggest that a dynamic curator should be hired to bannish the experimental art to the London Library (until a dedicated facility is found) and search this historic city, by way of newspaper and radio, for valuable artifacts hidden away in attics and double garages. Last, but not least, why is the cafe closed for most of the time (Who negotiated that contract?). Why not have a moment for 'afternoon tea', with a piano player (Noticed, today, in a isolated corner of the 3rd level) located there.

Went to a free scavenger hunt event and enjoyed it! Love seeing the work of local artists!

Ideal for the morning roamer such as myselft. Very tranquil

The palce to be in

Great venue for a wedding

Nice place.

First time going. Very interesting things!

Truly one of those unknown gems of London. I drive by every day but only took the time to visit just recently. The exhibits captured my interest, the facility is beautiful, and it was a chance to really appreciate what London has to offer. Mid-way through my visit, I had the chance to overlook the forks of the thames in probably the best and most beautiful view any facility in London has to offer on the upper floor.

Great new space. Recently renovated

Wonderful collection, includes local artists

Limited selection of candian art. Definitely go when there are special exhibits on. Great showcase of London high school students art, and a great opportunity to let young artists grow.

First time I've ever been there. Well worth the visit.

What more could you want in a museum than free admission, incredibly helpful staff, gorgeous art, and an amazing cafe and gift shop? The cafe has vegan options as well as excellent espresso! (I got the vegan doughnut, which was excellent.)

(Translated) Handcrafted on Sundays, the only drawback is that the parking fee is not cheap (Original) 周日提供手工制作,唯一缺陷是停车收费不便宜

People who come to museum have big brain and big PP

Nothing interesting. People who work there are nice. Impressive museum store

It might’ve been off-season or something when we went in early September, but the museum left a lot to be desired. There was barely anything to look at, and we managed to look at everything in ~20 minutes. Of course, it is free to enter so that should be taken into consideration, but I feel for the amount of space they could have had many more exhibits or pieces.

Not that interesting.

Fantastic

A small place.. Mostly arts and a bit of London history. Well kept and quiet

It's fine if you're interested in the history of London, ON.

Not upto the mark

Beautifully located well kept grounds

Was surprised by the amount and quality of art work here. Had a really enjoyable time.

Lived in London for many years, and visited the museum for the first time a couple months ago in the lead up to the Juno awards. Enjoyed the experience. It is a hidden gem that keeps a very low profile, but it is well worth visiting. Loses 1 star because parking can be a challenge if there are other events happening in the area (such as a Knights game).

Awesome exhibit of some history and art. Good way to kill some time.

Very nice atmosphere. Really enjoy my time walking around. Very good programs too. My son and I take part in their imagination station on Sundays and he loves it!

Best Gallery

Nice place

This Place was lovely and a refreshing experience. The beautiful pond in the back with the georgious Flowers breathtaking. It's a must see. It has a little cafe where you can also spend time in.

Very interesting artwork

Food was mediocre at the bar/cafe but the service was excellent. Did not go into the museum as it was not open. Plan to do so at some point.

Only ever go to the River room for supper and functions always great food and service

As you know... most of them do not know it’s free to come. Actually it is more like a gallery.... I am not a big fan of art but personally I like this museum very much! Remember they are off on Monday!

Good times

(Translated) Super cool and cute place. (Original) Lugar super bacana e lindo.

An interesting, if small museum.

A beautiful.space for.a.wedding

Its a great place to go for a free date, there is so much unique art to admire!

Cool place

Interesting exhibits. Wouldve liked to have seen more native or indigenous cultural work.

Was there for an event but I got a chance to look around, the tour was excellent the staff was super excited and knowledgeable!

I went to the Museum London since the year of 2016, now I brought my daughter here almost every week, it's free of charge, we do donation sometimes. It's a fun place to visit for me, although there isn't some activities for kids, my 2-year-old daughter likes here, the stuff is very friendly, and not too many people, if see the exhibition in details and relax browsing, will spend almost a whole day, summer time is over from 11am, now they open at 12pm-5pm most of the time.

Nice museum and artwork, in a lovely location

This place is so great! Entry by donation means art is accessible for all. The permanent collection is really reeeeally good, and I've always found the other exhibits to be incredibly interesting, thought provoking and emotive. The gift shop has all sorts of really cool pieces, I especially love the cards as they feature local art and often you can find pieces from the permanent collection featured on a simple little card that can be put on display, plus they're all blank so they can be manipulated for any occasion! Wish they were open late on weeknights more often but I seem to get my fix just fine on Thursdays nights. Visit today!!

Love their free kids program on every other Sunday

interesting collections and its free admission. (donation)

Lovely place. Dedicated staff, fine art and a welcoming atmosphere. The lighting of the arts could be better, some are dark and others end up reflecting too much, hindering the visualization.

Good art exhibition.

Great collection

Great support for the arts and history of London's environment.

Loved seeing the permanent collection up. RMBOZAK of Stompin' Tom Star

Great way to spend a Sunday, and it's great to have free guided tours! Made it easy to stop yourself from getting overwhelmed by all the information.

Beautiful architecture and open layout. A lovely place to visit.

Local event space! Wonderful view of the river forks!

I enjoyed meeting Ron Sexsmith.

Not a big museum but still has some good stuff and interesting things to see, good place for the kids. Clean restroom and well organized.

(Translated) A memorable site. (Original) Un site mémorable.

Incredible!

A good local museum. Some high quality art in the collection, but exhibits can be bland. The best parts of the museum's collection are hidden away in storage with no public access. Needs to branch out. The new renovations are a step in the right direction.

Very cool artwork and amazing service!

Beautiful space, great activity room for performing in.

I always forget how nice it is to come visit. Parking can be a bit tough, but worth the visit if you are downtown.

Hadn't been here since I was a child and went on a school trip. What a few months ago with my husband as we decided play tourists in our own City. Hit up all the touristy spots. This was a lot of fun

the new windowed area is a great addition and meeting space

I love visiting the museum. They had a scavenger hunt there that they were experimenting with. it was great fun so hopefully they will do it again. if you hear about a scavenger hunt at the Museum, I would definitely recommend going.

I went with my class to this museum and it was nice. The staff were nice and the art was pleasant to look at. I think I would have enjoyed it a little more if I was there just to look around instead of a quick tour.

The current exhibit explaining the history of prejudice against Aboriginal people in Canada was amazing! Incredibly informative and shockingly beautiful/horrifying.

We went to vote so didn't see much

Fabulous experience

An interesting space, accessible, helpful and friendly experience.

Worth checking out.. Beautiful building great art

Lovely peaceful space

Good museum with pay by donation admission but it's best to check what they have on before going.

I love the way the exhibits spark curiosity, and provokes varied and unpredictable conversations with whoever accompanies me.

London's bow to culture. Worth a visit for art.

Volunteered here for UpWithArt 2019. I loved the atmosphere and lay out. Lots of art and events happening here and the staff are awesome.

For a small museum there is a lot to see

Nice place to viset

unexpected Art gallery and history museum. Well curated and awesome gift shop.

Very limited for displays and Exhibits

A great great place. Very well put together and a good display of local impressions.

It is a cute little museum that doesn't requiere an entry fee just a donation. It has a small collection of impressionism, art nouveau and "modern art". It is suggested to take a booklet by the entrance of the third floor for the descriptions of the pieces.

Museum London is great. The exhibits are always really cool. I do wish that they had more interactive exhibits but it's not a complaint. For Families with young children they have free arts and crafts in the basement on Sundays. What a fantastic local and free resource for London Families! I remember doing this when I was a kid and now I routinely bring my kids here and they love it. They also really like exploring around and checking out the art. My only complaint is that when you go with your kids the security guards kinda follow you around ensuring that they don't touch anything. IMO it's silly to put out an old machine with levers and buttons and then stick a sign on it saying "don't touch". But none the less it's still a really cool place to go from time to time and the view of the forks from the lounge is second to none.

This is the true London

Nice place to visit for free.

Awesome!

I'm not sure how this passes as an art exhibit I was there 30 minutes at the most and there were only two exhibits to see. It took longer to fight through construction and one way streets to get there. Don't waste your time.

A really lovely museum! Admission is pay-what-you-can, and the exhibits were set up quite cleanly. The audio-visual and interactive pieces were very functional, without interfering with the other pieces on display. The gift shop is a little small but all the items seemed worth my attention. Staff and volunteers were so friendly and ready to make the museum experience just a little more special. It's a great place to spend an afternoon alone or with someone.

Great exhibits, they change monthly I think. Current one is Canadian Art. Don't miss out!

Good kinda boring tho

Fabulous exhibits and lots of community events. Admission is free, including tours (times for tours are on the website).

Jordan and Lisa went above and beyond our hopes to make our anniversary luncheon a wonderful time. Thank you!

Clean, informative, regularly changing and free

Great place

It's awesome art and it's free. Weird lighting, can be hard to see the artwork ... but it's free (I highly recommend you donate). Had a lot of fun on a quiet Saturday. Excellent selection. Worth checking out the same exhibit more than once.

Visited for Kids 1st day with the kids and they loved it. Not many exhibits, but that may be due to renovations.

Pretty good free museum. The exhibits are largely focused on the local region and reveal that London actually has a rich history of artistic talent. Good for about an hour long visit. I especially enjoyed the tableau featuring a composite of colors from every day of a year.

LOVELY

Packards dreams of solar rooftops still dance here☝????✌????????????????????????

The restaurant at museum London posted the celebration of life memorial for my grandma, Joan Macphail. The food was wonderful and the staff was gracious. I would highly recommend it as a location for special events and business meetings, pandemic protocols were observed.

One of my favourite spaces in the city; the trifecta where art, history and delicious treats (cronuts from the Rhino Lounge) converge at the fork of the Thames (Deshkan Ziibi); in addition to tonnes of local community programming and varying exhibits -- in beautiful space.

Investing in art is a waste.

Lovely, quaint. Great baked goods in Rhino cafe.

We enjoyed the experience

such a cool space, and very sweet people as well

A lovely little art gallery to spend an hour in.

Great date night, admission is by donation.

Great little spot, on the smaller side but still good things to see

Nice little museum.

Always a pleasure to visit the museum. I do have a proclination towards history, art history (more classical), which the museum has a number of regular exhibits. There are of course other more modern exhibits like a golden cupcake or telephony equipment giving you a finger, of whose message from the artist I dare not interpret.

A sense of stillness, belonging and mystery created through an appropriate mix of Art exhibits both Classical and Contemporary. Must visit!

Wow ! I didn’t think that London museum could be so rich in art collection and architecture. They have excellent art collection from First Nations artists and effect of industrial evolution in household equipment and lifestyle of people

Interesting. Admission is by donation. Which is nice.

This museum is a very active and passive engaging place. The board here need to be congratulated on their efforts to make the London museum a must visit location whenever you visit this beautiful city. The photography collection here is second to none and the art works are definitely worth a second visit. But the exhibits that are brought in and beautifully displayed are what makes this place a must see every time I go to London. You won't be disappointed.

Nice place to visit. Took between 1 and 2 hours to go through. Not a lot in the lower level history of London section. 3rd floor had a pretty large art display and history of Labatt section.

(Translated) Small museum with little variety of samples. Recommended if you are only passing through the city, not just to go there (Original) Pequeño museo con poca variedad de muestras. Recomendable si se está de paso por la ciudad únicamente, no para ir únicamente allí

Excellent gallery

It's always a pleasure to visit the Museum. It has interesting, amazing, and cool art Exhibits. It offers a lot of fun activities and services for families. It also has a large party room with a wonderful view.

New wonders.

The museum is small but is very informative. It had a personal feel to it. Having been to the largest and biggest ( read Louvre and MET), I liked this small museum where two exhibitions were going on...one of textiles from the past and the other was the school children's art on the theme of music. The permanent exhibition of art/ portraits, collected from donors, made a very interesting study of the earlier times in London, Ontario

I’m here at UPMC St. Margaret’s Hospital ???? 12-26-19 December 26, 2019

Great formal hall setting

Friendly, very helpful staff, great exhibits. Pay by donation.

Very nice!!

Beautiful! Clean, great exhibits.

The top floor is a hidden gem in London. When I was there they had 20 or more Group of Seven paintings as well as many other fascinating works.

Always changing galleries and always with great art exhibits!

Nice

Nice place

Small but well curated museum with excellent cafe and restaurant. Many good local events here.

Favorite place in downtown, very quiet

Beautiful setting for a large event.

Love it

I sat comfortably on the black leather couch and viewed the complicated picture all along the wall in front of me. Then I ate vegan food at the rhino lounge. Very nice, very friendly. Peace. Previously, on another recent visit, I saw the exhibits on the second floor. Interesting. There is also a huge picture window through which you can see the fork of the Thames river. This gallery is currently my favorite place

Great venue, food and location.

Such an amazing place. Went for the kent monkman exhibit which was excellent

Great place for all kinds of events!

Interesting place!

Amazing Realism Exhibit and Nursing exhibit. Attentive staff.

Good atmosphere clean very contemporary feel was here for a few events and they worked very well in the space. A little more parking for events would be welcomed

It's very nice place to go with friends or family ones great art to see. But I found it pretty boring over there. Staff was very much friendly there is I guess an antique shop in there I loved that shop and bought a photo frame which was LOVELY.

Great little gallery to see some fine Canadian works. They have a free art program on the weekend for children.

It is just a wonderful space for young and old.

It's a museum

Fantastic Kent Monkman exhibit, helpful staff, lovely location.

Enjoyed the exhibits.

Visited today! The London Museum is now renovated & has amazing collection of art & antiques. Building consists of 3 levels (0,1&2). Entrance is on Level 1 & cnavases art that is a theme for every season by each artist. A gift shop is on this level where you can buy articles & gift envelopes. Also in this level, there's a RHINO lounge & the River room (private riverfront dining). Level 2 has the art gallery that includes oil paints, 3D art, a simulation into the wood waters. Level 0 contains a collection of antiques & artifacts from 1950s. (You can find the horn mug in which from GOT in which the Night's Watch Brothers will sip on beer.)

Love love love

A nice little museum in the town of London. It was amazing that it was free but you could choose to donate but although it seemed to miss alot of wall painting part. I wish there was more there to see by other artists in the area. Parking was easy to find.

Beautiful Place.

London is blessed to have the museum sponsored by donors and benefactors. It is open to the public. They will gladly accept donations but admission is free. It is labeled as a museum, but it is closer to an art gallery

Entry is free so good place for kids and teens

Excellent (free) day trip, and the exhibits were actually very interesting to look at. The exhibit of illustrated book covers was especially beautiful and inspiring.

Nice place to spend some time in it, try to come when there is an event happening, the museum has a good kids room in the basement with a lot of things for them to play. There is no fees to inter only for the parking lots. Two dollars/h many things get changed usually so come back if you don’t like it first in the first time to see more things and more interesting historical pieces . You can come by any buses it’s in the downtown close to all the buses stops . 20- 2- 9- 19- 15- 12- 26 and a lot more.

Very educational and moving experience!

They were exceptional with my daughters kindergarten class, who attended there on a field trip. Wish we had more time to tour all the art.

Quiet, free museum. A variety of art - honestly I'm so bad at art museums but i think it would be interesting to people who are more passionate than me about these types of art. It was very clean and the customer service was lovely.

Amazing art!! amazing exhibits!! Needs more provincial/municipal funding

Love the kids art program, and beautiful collections. Very family friendly.

The new place is excellent for hosting live functions.

Very neat experience

Not my kind of art.

No do big but a great exposition

Nothing interesting... Not even a good place to waste time.never mind wasting your money.

Friendly people

Good place to see some art.

excellent experience. a magical place that takes you on a journey through time.

Great place for a short visit

Very nice place. Lots of interesting things to see. Really found the dedication to war heroes uplifting

Always loved visiting, roaming the building is an enjoyable experience in itself. There is usually historic exhibits which I like, and an overall comfortable atmosphere.

(Translated) It is a different museum and they are very friendly. They love to explain the exhibits. (Original) Es un museo diferente y son muy amables. Les encanta explicar las exposiciones.

The Kent Monkman exhibition is definitely worth seeing.Kent is getting international attention and was recently commissioned by the Metropolitan Museum in New York to do a work. Take a leisurely stroll through the exhibition, I highly recommend it.

I sat comfortably on the black leather couch and viewed the complicated picture all along the wall in front of me. Then I ate vegan food at the rhino lounge. Very nice, very friendly

Small museum, but a lot of interesting and beautiful pieces. Staff was extremely helpful and kind

Great place. Huge collection, always changing!

Great one of a kind gift items well priced and original in gift shop...live the art displays

Very nice museum with lots of interesting exhibits to see!

Had our daughter's wedding dinner at the River room here. Beautiful, great food rivalling the best places to eat in London, perfect service and kind hospitality. Would do it all over again.

Friendly staff, great #indiginous tour by Sara Mai Chitty

Great exhibitions

Enlightening

Excellent regional museum. Very nice collection. Comfortable. Well-organized. Friendly and helpful staff.

I went to Museum London for an exhibit about the standoff at Ipperwash and I would go back for other exhibits that capture my interest. The exhibit, itself was brief and to the point, but it gave the Indigenous perspective on the event.

It's our first day in London and we've stumbled on the museum accidentally. It was a great fun and we will visit it again! Exhibitions were interesting and nicely composed

My family liked it here.

The place is good for a morning person Especially that its free. Its not special when it comes to museums but it has some local art work that you might wanna see

It's real boring

Small little museum on really one floor. But it's well kept and clean.

Great place! Would like more interactive displays and more art! When I went the basement was empty :( But amazing staff and I did love everything I saw!

The Arts okay. The people are not very helpful

Wonderful greeting immediately when we walked in. Information regarding current displays, as well as washroom location, was clearly communicated. Nice building, with live performances overlooking water fountain. Walking paths and large park close by. Well done, London!!

Great contporary art.

Great museum!

Always interesting

Beautiful contemporary space. Very accommodating and friendly staff. I attended a wedding ceremony at the museum, overlooking the river. Following the ceremony, the couple had everyone meet in the river room for brunch and mimosas . Very enjoyable.

Wonderful

Really cool little museum. Has some good art exhibition a and exhibits on local London history. I couldn't finish the whole thing on our first so I am definitely coming back!

This is really a must do. Learn so much. Loved the art and the Nursing bit. Have a story to tell for sure. The sheet music cover section was my favorite.

nice place.

Beautiful building, Paul Peel, Group of Seven pieces and so much more. Fine dining and a lunch spot. Come sit and look out the huge windows at the Forks of the Thames.

Most people do not know it is free. Donations are welcome. Currently with the renovations, two of the galleries are closed. If a couple of months be a nice upgrade be done. Exhibits are changes about every 3 months. It is a hidden gem and the gift shop has nice gifts (for others and yourself).

I love that admission is by donation, it is the only affordable art gallery around. I recently saw Kent Monkman's Pride and Prejudice and thought it was fantastic. I recommend going to it as soon as you can cause it will only be in London for a short time. Besides this show I have attended a Gala and an opening, and have been taken to this establishment when I was in high school with my classmates and on my own time. They have been doing renovations so I am excited to see what it will look like next. Hopefully it stays as admission by donation, it does mean a lot for lower economic families.

Gift shop full of unique gifts

Great location. Went for a conference.

not really a museum few exhibits

It has a gift shop with local artists' painting, handmade jewelries, and it's good to buy souvenirs.

Lovely selection of their permanent collection on display and diverse exhibitions changed out three times a year. Great public programming and a delicious restaurant

Loved the paint can exhibit

Great weekend trip!

I have gone there many times by myself, with others and many times with my wife. For a free museum I can't complain. True it does focus on local history but it has also showcased some fantastic art from various artists. As a matter of fact not so long ago they had an exhibition from a native artist that highlighted the tragedies the indigenous nations have endured. This exhibit went on to be displayed in The New York Museum of Art. Not bad for a little free museum.

Great place for class trip. Hands on learning and knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff!

Love this museum. The exhibits are always unique and original to London, and they host excellent events, like the Halloween event.

Really should be called an art exhibit rather than a museum. It was incredibly boring. We we're in and out of there within 15 minutes. Nothing really exciting to look at. Pretty much all paintings by local London artists. No statues, nothing really historic or anything that will demand your attention. I give it maybe a 2 out of 10. Nearby parking available for $2/hour. I really enjoyed The Royal Canadian Regiment museum. It was free, and the parking is free. Check it out before you go to Museum London.

A couple of good exhibits and had fun watching with friends.

Very convenient location. Great experience.

Average, near on the bland side of life........ Nice art, clean building but get ready for a nap!

Very useful museum. People are vety kind.

The public jewel of Downtown London arts scene with a great gift shop. I love to go there on Sunday afternoons, tapping into its wi-fi, looking at both the exhibits and relaxing while enjoying the view of the river forks out of the big bay windows on the second floor.
