(Translated) The visit is without a guide, it has a very didactic video that talks about how Mapple Syrup is produced and the history of the evolution of this production. Then it is easy to understand the pieces on display. There's something else about electricity on display as well. It is a small collection of a small town, but it has its cultural value. We went in winter when the city was empty, it is worth visiting in April when there is a festival with this theme.

Eventhough it is small, you learn a lot about Maple Syrup. After your visit you only need a maple tree to produce your own Syrup ???? The staff is really friendly and talkative. We really enjoyed it!

The museum has been moved from the middle floor to the basement. The museum gives a basic background on how maple syrup is made but advancements in maple syrup production makes this museum fairly outdated.

Jeffrey Lam

I don't know why there's so much about trains, but it's pretty neat.

Robert Colin Robertson

Very nice place, shows the maple syrup collection and making methods over the history from indigenous people till the current day, also shows nice display of Saint Jacobs area and the train track that used to go through it. The man at the museum is very friendly and gave us nice details about maple syrup and the farms that produce it in the area.

You’ll leave here with a bachelors in Maple Syrup making. Trust. You’ll also know all about trains, miniature models, the history of St Jacob AND ELECTRICITY. It’s a one stop shop for all sorts of history and it’s by donation. Give generously! Loved this cute little place.
