It's really nice to see so many totem poles all together! Just don't expect a big park... it's pretty small but very characteristic! Walking distance from the city center.

Amazing totems (I call them "up sticks"). Saw them just before they repatriated some of the older ones back to the First Nations people.

Dissapointed as hell. It's small and there's not a lot to see. There are couple of totem poles but hey, the museum has more of it!

ELLEN RIPLEY

Very small. Neat to stop for a minute or two and admire the totem poles/artwork as you are walking by or to a place. I happen to prefer that native American (or Canadian I suppose) style above all others that I can think of. Not worth a special trip, but a nice asthetic to "walking the streets of Victoria".

Thunderbird Park featues numerous beautiful totem poles as well as two small buildings with Helmcken House and Mungo Martin House right beside Royal BC Museum. It's a wonderful place for taking pictures. Sadly, the park was undergoing constructions and wasn't completely open to public when I visited.

This is a powerful place when I come here I don't really know why I go this way cause it's really out of my way to where I'm going but it's a magic place for some reason I feel at piece here and if I'm just walking through here I feel a very very strong sense spirituality here like the angels of God are recharging my own soul with good luck this is the place where you must go to recharge your own soul & Spirit .

Beautiful 1st Nation Totem Pole exhibit close to Victoria's inner harbor. Unfortunately visited too late in the day to do or see more than the Totem Poles, but glad we did.

Richard Singh

Lots of information in history here. Stopped by on a whim as we wanted to check out the old houses there and definitely a lot of information to read and beautifully kept up. The park itself is clean and a pleasure to visit

We walked by Thunderbird Park when we went to visit the Royal BC Museum. Unfortunately, they are currently doing renovations on the park, so there is a fence around it and you aren't able to explore the totem poles up close, but it is still amazing to see and worth going. I really recommend tying it in with a visit to the museum. Located just outside the Royal BC Museum there a number of totems viewable from the sidewalk free. These are just a sample of the totem poles on display inside the museum.
