They have nice historic set ups like old buildings and exhibits that teach you about the history of Sooke. It was quite small though and the visitor section didn't look as welcoming due the entrance not being apparent and doors being closed. It was quite boring actually but if you have time to kill might as well check it out.

Some interesting history, but the place is cluttered and seems a bit tired... However, if you can look past the cluttered/somewhat disorganized gift shop area there are some neat gift ideas!

Good info about local accommodations. Ask and they'll look up on their computer about more accommodation and local activities. The museum has local hand crafted items also.
