I've been in here a few times, first with my own family when we moved here and then with other friends and family as they have visited. I love how you get a personal walkthrough about the mines in the area and how they operate. only drawback is that we weren't always offered the same things..... when I went on my own the first time you were able to look at diamonds under a microscope with explanations of what we were looking at, and that wasn't offered when I went in recently. Still a very excellent tour ! Especially loved seeing the diamonds cut and Polished.

It's been a few years but I still remember it well. I had a great experience here. Love the entire area. This is a must do on your trip to NWT and many other great spots. Small diamond shop. Kind and friendly staff. We expected that this place was a kind of a diamond museum. Actually, we saw a movie to study history of the diamond mines near Yellowknife. Also, you can try an four carat diamond ring ($100,000)! However, this place was more like a diamond shop. There were little exhibition room but the main part was the shop.

Great place for Canadian diamonds. It has a single wall of display cases to focus on and not get overwhelmed by too much bling like other jewelry stores. You get a nice appraisal card, number inscription on the stone, and they come in a really nice box. They even have mining information that is quite educational and interesting.

It is worthy to visit this diamond center when you are in Yellowknife. You may be surprised with what you learn about the NWT diamond discovery history and how amazing the process is to cut a fine diamonds.

Not too many exhibits, and a short video, but the personal tour you get helps make this a worthwhile visit. Staff are knowledgeable about the mining industry in the NWT, and I had all of my questions on the process answered. At the end you of course get shown some diamonds but there wasn’t a hard sell and they were happy to show you stuff you clearly weren’t going to buy, like a 7 carat stone they had! Worth a stop to learn about the primary industry in the NWT.

Presentation explaining diamond mining in North West Territories was excellent and staff was very knowledgeable about diamonds. I was disappointed that the jewellery was made from Ontario diamonds and not from diamonds mined here in the NWT. The name is very misleading. This really put a downer on the experience.
