Very nice place!
Peaceful and not crowded
Brand new design looks perfect for video or photoshoots
u can legally public drink here. thanks city of north van for being cool
I love waking from my place to water front with my grandmother who loves the wiew and spending time there, specially in the afternoon,
Besides the abundance of community events Waterfront Park offers a great place for a leisurely walk along the waterfront, a great view of Vancouver and if the timing and weather is right you can see a number of seals sunning themselves on the old dock that's chained up beside the marina.
Great place for sunsets. And legally having a drink with the rest of North Van.
Nice little park, similar to a lot of sealine areas. Theres a small childrens playground and a dock with a picnic table on it. Lots of field area.
Nice, lovely and amazing. You can enjoy the one of greatest scene of sunset in the world. I love this place
Very great place, especially pre-covid, to hang out and relax. Also had an open drinking policy for during covid, so could go there and have lunch with a glass of wine ????
Hit the Caribbean Festival the other day........ Fantastic! Nice park facilities, located on the water and a short ride over on the seabus. Public market located at the terminal too......
I grew up here and this park is beautiful. Right on the water with the Downtown Vancouver skyline directly across is perfect to relax and take some pictures or have a lowkey drink or a puff.. the spirit trail takes you from the park through North Vanouver all the way to West Vancouver which is paved the whole way I believe..
If you want to bask in the sun, this is probably the best place for it in North Van.
Beautiful view of Vancouver skyline. Playground and wide grass land plus ocean view. Not many parking lots available close to park.
Great little park with some grass to run around on. You're not allowed to climb on the sculpture though, and the grass isn't perfectly flat for pick-up sports or spikeball...
Visited on May 4th, 2021: Only a few steps from the Lonsdale Quay SeaBus Station and Market. Grab a coffee, a bite and the mindful purpose to enjoy a view of spectacular Vancouver. Waterfront Park boasts beautiful wide-angle views of Vancouver and the Burrard Inlet and you’ll find it just a 12-minute Seabus ride away from Downtown Vancouver. There are plenty of trails for you to get immersed in nature and stroll by the water to catch some spectacular views just minutes away from the Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood. It’s located just minutes from Lonsdale Quay meaning you can catch the Seabus here from Downtown Vancouver in minutes. You could stop by Lonsdale Quay Market on the way to pick up something to eat on your walk. There are plenty of benches and places to sit throughout the park, as well as a children’s play park, making it perfect for a family picnic on a nice day. Also found within Waterfront Park are some great public art, a maritime memorial, and restrooms. Throughout the summer the park is activated with markets and events.
Nice little park with views of downtown Vancouver.
Beautiful view of the city, right next to the SeaBus. Lots of places to eat in walking distance.
A nice quiet walk around Lonsdale quay and the park that you can take a picnic on the plentiful green grass or take the grandparents for a walk or take the kids to the playground. Thank you Vancouver for not killing the grass this year. Thank you Vancouver. It's a good park and a great source of fresh seafood, to local and international beer and wines. It also has a good selection of fruits and veggies. There is some really good food there to eat in and take out.
Recently this dog park received a significant upgrade. It is heavily mulched so the pups don't get muddy! Also the area is divided into an all dog area and a small dog area.
It's beautiful here during the day. Especially during summer. There is a drinking fountain, restrooms, a little park, and a fun little overlook by the water that provides shade and cover from the rain. This place is a popular tourist hotspot. If you were expecting peace by the water, you may not get that. During the summer this place is quite busy. Even in the cold months. The large fields provide plenty of ground space for snow, so cold weather still sees activity. Occasionally festivals will utilize this space. Keep an eye out for any fun events that may be happening!
Wonderful place to have a picnic with friends with the Vancouver skyline as landscape
nice views, walking trails, and art pieces. though not much to do. walked around a bit and took some pictures. still pretty good, just not really a must see.
Nice public area. Playground for kids. Nice place for adults to enjoy a beverage by the water.
Really well maintained, plenty of benches and sitting spaces. Beautiful view of the Vancouver skyline
Beautiful views of Downtown! See you there on my slackline!
Great view and nice area, it is basically a simple picnic park.
Clean place, fresh air, near the market dan water bus station.
It’s a beautiful place, day or night. It’s the place we take the sea Bus to Vancouver. There is a good market there to buy organics. The view is really good! It’s a little noisy, sometimes
????????????Large open park with ????????????????enclosed dog park on one end and across the????️???? train tracks is playground ????????♂️????????♀️????????????????⛴️. Nice view. Pier
A very nice spot to chill out. The walk through the trail here is very beautiful. You get to see the best downtown skyline view. Great spot to spend evenings with friends.
Never too crowded, nice picnic grass area and romantic gazebo at the end of the pier, and always harbour seals present.
A nice little park just off Marine Dr. There is a pier to walk out on and lots of paths to walk. Most paths are lit at night.
Great place to relax and spectacular views of Vancouver
Absolutely beautiful location right on the spirit trail.
It was a great place, there you can relax in and thinking about yourself.
Quite nice park to chill out, just a few meters from the Q market. Todlers can play here. One can take beautiful pictures of sunset.
Peaceful and good sitting arrangements to see beautiful view
Easy to go and enjoyable
Amazing spot to watch the sunset over the city. I've grown up here and have always liked this park. It's nice too that it's so close to the Seabus and the Quay.
Nice place to chill not overly crowded
Chill place to chill and enjoy the view. Drinking allowed during summer hours a bonus. Enjoy. A Seabus away to enjoy a relaxing day.
Nice walk along the water, with beautiful downtown Vancouver views.
Lowest tide I ever seen so far.
This place is small but good enough for a handful of doggos at a time. Two size parks. Small doggos big doggo fencing seperate. Woodchips not great for little doggos or doggos that like woodchips. The general vibe here is responsible dog owners that watch their dogs, no phones, no prongs, no chokes, just good old dog watching and handling. Though there are big jugs of water, I suggest bringing your own.
Nice little park for those living in the Lonsdale area. Some lovely views of the water, the city and the port. Nothing special, but fun to go through. This park is host to the big Canada Day festivities put on by the Rotary Club of Lionsgate who do an excellent job in the community.
I enjoy walk along the waterfront. The park is not big but clean & has good vibes ????
Beautiful park. Not too busy, good scenery of the harbour and downtown definitely family friendly
Very well kept area. Nice size with lots of space for different groups of people. Trees that provide shade as well as areas with full sun. Great view of downtown. Washrooms available (and area incredibly clean for being in a public park).
Charming little seawall that has beautiful views of Burrard Inlet & downtown Vancouver.
Cute little park with great views. Close to the quay and all the restaurants in the new ly named Shipyard district.
My brother Robbie Araji was beaten to death there but nice waterside view and dog park. they truly weren't overselling when they said scenic views
Beautiful view of Downtown Vancouver from this park. The park has limited shade but you will find the occasional tree tree for shade. The water taxi back to downtown is an easy walk just east of park so no need to worry about transportation. It runs every 15 minutes or so.
Good place for a fun family afternoon or picnic.
Great place to spend time with your LO
Beautiful Sunrise Tuesday Morning
Nice views looking over to downtown Vancouver. Calm and quiet on the pier + you can have beer at the park...
Gorgeous views. Little on the small side but still enough room to hang out have a barbecue and check out the scenery.
Great view & location, . . . Perfect to take your date on sunny days for a picnic . . . . . .you may even take the "sea bus" for a short trip to downtown from here . . . . Will be lots of fun . . . . But let me tell you something. . . This park is absolutely not a family oriented park. . . Go there with your girlfriend or your partner . . . , but definitely not your wife or husband. . . . And if you are a single parent with children, then don't take them there . . . It's a small park and . . . . Yup . . . Too small to unsee stuff . . . Take my word for it !
Nice view of downtown Vancouver. Steps away from Lonsdale market and seabus. Good place to picnic but not good for public bbq.
Great place to have a wonderful day picnic. Difficult to find parking lot.
Serene...excellent place to enjoy your lunch and the ocean!
One word, the spectacular seawall water and views to the city.
A beautiful spot by the water that's pet, family, and hangout friendly!
Kind of a hidden gem. Not too busy when we were there. Parking nearby at a reasonable rate.
One of the coziest, most beautiful downtown views you can get from North Van. Very well known amongst the locals. If you’re driving for your visit here, you could park for free at the ICBC parking between 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thank me later :)
My favorite place to relax ????
Beautiful but be prepared to get your shoes muddy if you are walking to the play equipment. The grass has standing puddles today.
Nice little park with beautiful views of the ocean.
Great park! Lots of opens space to run around in. The Park area is fun for all ages with well maintained equipment. Sometimes it gets a little bit muddy. Great views.
If you want to see Vancouver's skyline, come here. Wide and well-managed lawns are good. There aren't many tables.
Nice little park near seabus
Enjoy watching the seals from this park, and the eagles in the trees. It's a perfect place to watch a sunset, and I am really glad that the spirit trail now connects to the path leading to the Lonsdale Quay.
Sweet nice from a wonderful of Downtown
Nice view of downtown! Fairly budget playground for kids, so don’t expect much for that.
Very nice views of Vancouver. A great green space right on the water.
Come to this beautiful waterfront park and enjoy the view while you enjoy your beer under the sun.
Very nice place to stroll, Shope, get a bite or just enjoy the view.
Beautiful place to sit and relax by the water. Very open and peaceful!
Theres a small dock to the right side that we checked out and seen starfish and other fish down on the old pier stands. But up top on the main pier it was overtaken by loud druggies playing super loud music and so no one would go on it. Wack.
A beautiful place of peace, tranquility to see across to Vancouver. The shimmering lights across the Burrard Inlet
Lovely park with ample space to enjoy yourself while physically distancing from others
Very nice, but very busy section of the Seawall in North Vancouver. With Longsdale Quay just right around the corner, the Seabus Transit terminal also nearby, as well as a connecting off leash dog park, this place has a lot of foot traffic. Washrooms are kinda cruisey, so that's a plus I suppose.
It is great you can now enjoy a beer while taking in the views of the city from this park. The park itself has a lot of open grassy areas but nothing special. Just a nice park.
Best view of Downtown's skyline.
A pleasant park with a great view. A pleasant short and relaxing walk at the place
Beautiful park. Situated in North Vancouver. Near to Sea bus station. Greenery in all park. Best place for cycling. Full with tourists in weekends and holidays. Close to bank of sea. Best place for photography. Fresh air in all park. Best for morning walk and evening walk. Best place for every walks of life.
Decent place to bring kids, walk or just sit and stare at the waterfront and .... the barges.
Nice views and neat sculpture.
Nice place to have a beer at sunset over looking Vancouver.
Nice view of downtown, but a pretty lame park. The playground has to be in th running for worst in Metro Vancouver. No slides or swings. Just a few rickety things to climb on and a bunch of pylons. ???? Also some small bars of your kid likes to do chin-ups.
Excelllent view and atmosphere!!
I have always liked the waterfront park, but it has changed too fast for my taste, not as relaxing as it used to be; having said that, I also have to say that there are many new activities and restaurants nearby as well as drinking at the park, which makes it the place to be in Lower Lonsdale
A great view and nice to visit at night. Traffic somewhat lessens the experience during the day though as it is quite loud and near a busy street.
Stunning location in North Vancouver right on the waterfront. Numerous public art works and grassy areas for your picnic.
It's a great park with a beautiful view. Situated directly adjacent to the Lonsdale Quay, and right along the Spirit Trail, it's a perfect place for locals and tourists alike to congregate and enjoy the peaceful essence of North Vancouver... That is, until the local scum come out and blast trap music and soundcloud mumble rap out of their packpack speakers. The "Quay rats" are the worst kinds of humans because they're over privileged garbage who think that life is hard growing up in North Van. They generally just break things and don't have the decency to shut up arounds kids, ruining every environment they interact with. Other than them, it's a great place.
Great spot to view downtown. The playground is meant for older kids and not so much toddlers.
Beautiful view of downtown Vancouver from the Quay. A great place to get lunch and walk around.
The view from here at night is amazing sooo pretty however it was cold and it turns out North Vancouver had terrible night time transit lolol. In short don't end up here at 4 am and have your phone die whilst taking a skyline photo.
Amazing view and close to BCIT marine campus with cool boathouses.
One of the few parks in Navan that you are allowed to legally drink in. Everyone is pretty chill about it and having visited a few times with a friend of mine that lives overlooking the park.....I've never seen anyone outta control overly drunk. Also a beautiful view of DTown VanCity. A gem on the North Shore!
Our Datsun club hosts an annual All Japanese Classic car show here... Not sure you'll find a more picturesque venue for a car show. The playground is kind of lacking but the greenery sure isn't.
Great place to go for the day. Great shops and great food. Just make sure you pay for parking because I was ticketed within 30 minutes of forgetting to pay for parking in the parkade.
Nice spot to view the city from the north side. Close to lonsdale Quay shops and Seabus.
A "must see" in North Vancouver. This place has a beautiful view of Vancouver Downtown
Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. Its perfect location for small proposal or romantic surprise
Nice open ground park with a little climbing playground. The scenery is nice and very close to the places to eat, would go again.
Beautiful park. Small playground. Amazing views of Vancouver. Great views of fireworks from Canada Place. Loads of community events over the summer.
Worth the quick ferry ride from Vancouver to get to! Perfect at sunset and sunrise! Snap some photos while you’re there!
It's a good place to go and to relax.
A nice little park for a relaxing stroll, but not really great for kids. There is grass and a walkway along the water, a playground, washrooms, and a small pier. The railway tracks go through the middle, bit there is a walkway overpass from the street to the park. There is also a dog park attached.
Great park to enjoy with family. Great view and lots of seating. Only disadvantages is parking. Public pay parking at Chadwick.
Excellent idea to chip away at building a waterfront park and trail system. A true treasure for North Vancouver.
Tiny playground. Very little for kids to do. Decent view of Vancouver.
Beautiful place just to walk around, plenty of restaurants to choose from,a water park where your kids have some fun.
Fresh air, by the water. The ground is covered with wood chips. Gentle on your dogs paws.
Sunny warm and spacious setting. Busy but quite. Accessable. Nice place fkr a quick bite of lunch, but not for a full meal u less you bring fthe meal with youzze.
Beautiful view. Relaxing place, very well managed. Another amazing place in beautiful vancouver. Usually the Caribbean festival held here in summer.
beautiful
Beautiful place in North Vancouver just minutes walk from Lonsdale Quay. Easily accessible by transit from downtown Vancouver by Seabus. Really peaceful space with a gorgeous view of the water. Great greenspace for picnics and family fun.
Big area to run around in but the playground needs some work
Nice little park, with great views. Walking distance to lonsdale quay
A great place to grab a coffee and watch the sun go down and the lights come up.
Hard to beat on a beautiful day. Lots of people and dogs - all having a jolly good time. Lots of eating options within a couple of minutes.
Used often for all kinds of gatherings and festivals , but also a nice place to sit on a quiet day and enjoy the grass and harbour view
Beautiful park to hang out in the summer
I took my twin niece's here last weekend. It was awesome. It was so nice to see people relaxed and enjoying the sunshine. The girls loved the park and even though I had planned other things to do, they wanted to go back to the park after exploring the Quay. It was great!
I like it my dog loves it...but there's alot of off leash dogs around and I don't think it's allowed. So be careful with unwanted fury friends near your pets.
Such a beautiful little grassy area/tiny park right by the ocean, with a neat view of downtown vancouver. The playground is not really a good one, for toddlers, and it's really basic and small. But a lovely park area for sure.
My dog obviously felt very relaxed here. ????
What a beautiful place especially on a nice sunny day Great area for biking or just walking along by the water. Caribbean festival on for the weekend which adds more to fun day. Lots of places to eat nearby and the quay selling a lot of neat stuff
My dream home in North Vancouver ????
Really nice day to Visit the Caribbean Festival
This is a peaceful area to read a book in, hang out, have a picnic, go to the park, for a walk, or just pass by. It is relaxing, quiet, and has a beautiful view of downtown Vancouver's skyline. you can catch the sea bus from here to downtown. It has a playground area, and a lot of grass mini hills around it (great for flying a kite). Bathrooms are under one of the hills. Palm trees are randomly planted throughout two sides of the park. Carribean festivals are usually held here in the beginning of summer.
Great quiet place till everyone comes then gets crowded
Cute little area. Beautiful view of downtown Vancouver, plus your allowed to drink alcohol there.
A small but nice park that is a short walk from the quay. Enjoyed by both families and young people. Scenic views of downtown Vancouver and the port. View of the sunset is a bit obscured, but the seals and loons that can be spotted make up for it.
Nice place to take a walk not too far from the sea bus/ lonsdale quay. There are a lot of benches to sit and enjoy the view.
Beautiful scenery and fun times
Great for a walk, nice views.
Nice open green space on the waterfront. There is some children's play equipment and washrooms some benches with trees for shade and that's about all. With The Lonsdale Quay nearby the park is a great place for a picnic!
Went there hoping to find a decent playground, nope. Nothing for kids to play on. The view is gorgeous, across the water but the park itself was disappointing.
Great place for a walk!
Amazing walk. Lots of things to do.
I always like coming here with the kids. Very beautiful and clean park.
Easy location by the seabus, but my nephew kept saying it's a baby playground lol
Great place for an evening stroll. Lots to see along the way
One of my favorite places to go and grab tea/food with friends. Nice views. Cute shops. Good food. Great to walk around outside or inside. Kid friendly.
Beautiful place with lovely sea view. Sitting also available.
It was a great place for children to play around and nice walking trails
beautiful View good for walking and relax under the sun seat or lay down on grass small play area for kids too ????
Great place for a quick run! If you have a dog there is a bonus for you! There is a very well manicured dog park in the middle of the park. The dog park is long so it's really great for high energy dogs. They can play catch and frisbee there without any interference. I went during a winter month visiting out of the area and found it pleasantly delightful. My dog and I normally run a 5k daily. I will return to this run whenever I visit Vancouver. My dog really enjoyed it as well. We met some very rambunctious fury friends on our run. So easy to get to and if you are in the right spot you will get the three views of the city!
Pleasant, no frills park with spectacular views of Vancouver and the north shore mountains, part of the spirit trail and trans Canada trail.
Great place for a picnic or just to get some sun.
Beautiful space to walk to and have a special moment! Great waterfront view ???? A gazebo on the waterfront to enjoy and grass to sit and appreciate the sun on
I like the live music show
A great destination for a Saturday or Sunday morning, although crowdy around lunchtime. It's lovely to indulge in walking the dog in the park or just relaxing on a bench.
Views, birds, seals, shipping commercial and pleasure, away from vehicular traffic, viewing playform and lit at night therefore accessible 24 hrs/day.
Decent place to relax. There's a liquor store close by, as well as a cannabis store.
Nice small park with good views across the river to Vancouver. Free to access with public restrooms available. On street car parking available.
