DESCRIPTION

We've got the information of real people who are using the services of Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum (Museum) in Niagara-on-the-Lake (Canada).

At present the business has a score of 4.5 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 105 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is almost the top, and it is based on a very high number of scores, so we can think that the score is very accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to write opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

Great establishment with some spectacular artifacts on show. Costs a fraction of the price of some big city museums and there are no crowds to contend with. One can reflect on the collection without distraction. Highly recommended for the local history buff to the curious tourist. Keep up the great work.

The 3rd Sunday of every month is free:). So much history! Two floors of items of historical significance. They have a tablet that you can get that'll explain in more detail the artifacts you see on display (if you leave some picture id). They have walking tours too, although not when we were there but @$10 the price was very reasonable. Nice attendant, very knowledgable. Outside they had some lifesize historical figures with the faces cut out so that you could put your own face and take pictures. All in the beautiful area Niagara by the Lake.

This is a really well laid out small museum. Good history of the area, and easy to walk through. You'll get some repeat history between this and the Fort George National Historic Site, but I think they complement each other rather than making each other redundant.

Small museum , two floors. No tickets for kids below 12 yrs. Should not take more than 30 - 45 mins to cover . Adequate sanitisers on location and mandatory to wear masks inside and maintain social distancing which is not a problem since there were hardly any people inside when we visited and since it was a week day. Well curated , catalogued and documented . Trivia about some famous residents of Niagra was interesting. Time well spent .

I have visited Niagara-on-the-Lake many times, saw the sign for the museum, but drove right by. This time I decided to follow the sign and discovered this lovely museum located in an old house with beautiful gardens. Outside there is a rose Bush called "1812" as well as a terrace with historical cutouts. Inside there is a lovely small gift store as well as historical exhibits of clothes, items and a dress up section for kids. Now they are highlighting when the Polish trained in NOTL around the 1st world war. Highlight for me was to see the hat that Sir Issac Brock wore.
