Here we offer you the feddbacks of people who have information of the products and services of White Water Walk (Museum) around Niagara Falls territory (Canada).
Right now this business gets a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and the score has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is almost the best one, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can be pretty sure that the assessment is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to put reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Tourist attraction.
My girlfriend and I decided we're driving by and decided to pull in. It was the best decision we ever made. You truly can't say you visited Niagara falls until you have seen this place. Tickets cost $15 and there was a paid parking lot across the street....we didn't pay tho..sorry The entire stripe is about 20minute walk. And there's places in-between where you can stop to get better view of the water. They have facts of the water and the area on the trail.
Beautiful walk way to see the rapid. Excellent service and very nice staff. Great view of the River. Bring shoes with treads though since the boardwalk can be slippery.
Stunning and gorgeous 1km walk with lookouts to rapids & falls. Cool underground elevator ride to the walkway...went off season with minimal waitlist.
It the most beautiful place to visit to enjoy the nature and to take the snaps!
The attraction is undoubtedly beautiful but it can be a bit more interesting. The clean Niagara waters and the sounds of running stream are the highlights of the place.
16 bucks for the elevator (6ppl at a time) down to the main floor where you walk a small tunnel the boardwalk along the rapids. Buy your tickets before you line up!(1hr wait if busy) Parking close by (2.25per hr) but can fill up quickly.
Short, quick walk but so beautiful and amazing
Beautiful. Exhilarating. Raw, powerful water, deep down in the escarpment.
There is parking at this location - free with ticket purchase. The line was long, the elevator packed, and the tunnel very small and tight, but it was worth it! At the end of the tunnel is a little room with vending machines and informational signs about stunts that have been done at the falls and rapids. Through the room is a deck with more signs about the bridge and gorge. The deck and walkway are well maintained and wide enough to accommodate 2 way pedestrian traffic. There are signs all along the walk, with information about rapids, how deep/fast the water is, why the water is green/foamy and geographic points of the area. There are several look-out points where you can step down right next to the water. You may get wet feet from splashing waves at these points! At the end of the walkway is another lookout, this time with benches and more information on the animals and birds of the area. We got tickets as part of their combo pass, and I'm glad we did.
Im always visit this place. people spend avarage 60 minutes. But its just 20 minutes walk.u can see another awesome view of Niagara river. U get free parking when u buy ticket.
The walk itself is short but the view is incredible. Must see!
It is a self guided tour so you go at your own pace. You get SO close to the Rapids and can really appreciate them!
Great view and experience for families. Cheaper on Tuesdays with the toonie Tuesdays where kids can go for $2. Good place to see on the Canadian side of niagra on the lake.
Amazing experience! Prepare to be blown away by the sheer power of the water at the white water walk! The walk itself is not very long but it makes up with the wonder of the green water rushing through this narrow passage of the Niagara River which boasts to have the highest standing waves in North America! An elevator will bring you from the gift shop down to the tunnel that leads to the walk! From the walk there are still more stairs leading to a platform even closer to the raging waves! Along all the other sight seeing places in Niagara this is a MUST SEE! Don’t miss it when you’re visiting!
Awesome experience! The water was so furious and the colour of the water was so green. The boardwalk is short but you can take your time to watch the water up close. I was a bit scared of the comments about the elevator being crowded. But when we went they only allowed limited people in the elevator. Overall we loved it!
It's very cool to see the rapids up close. You take an elevator down and then there's about a quarter-mile of wooden walkway. It's pretty accessible there's even a vendor at the bottom of the elevator selling some treats. there's several points where you can walk out from the walkway and get a little closer. There's there's two platforms right next to the water but they were closed due to the river being high.
Note for parking: Parking is free in the parking lot opposite to entry building. When you buy ticket, please ask for parking ticket. Put that in your car when parking the car in the lot. I saw people paying for parking via parking meter in the lot. You'll have to be lucky to get available parking space first ;) Now regarding the walk itself. Rapids are great but as other reviewers said, it's definitely really short and quick walk. $17 per ticket seems a bit expensive but I guess that's for maintaining such a space. I wish there was more sitting arrangement so people can relax, observe and enjoy the rapids and spend more time. Enjoy taking some photos while the sound of rapids mesmerise you.
Worth the walk! These pictures don't do it justice. We were planning to skip it because of so much walking. It turned out not to be too bad and with amazing views!
An elevator takes you down to walkways and viewing viewing platforms along the Niagara River’s Class 6 whitewater rapids. Amazing to see where tightrope walkers, swimmers and other daredevils have challenged the river. Many times the river took their lives. Self-Guided, good signage. Park in lot across street, included in admission. If you have Niagara Parks Parking pass, that also is veiled. Admission is included in both Niagara Falls Adventure Pass and Niagara Falls Pass or can be purchased separately.
This is one of the must amazing attraction that you should be do, if you are in Niagara Falls. You will go down through an old Elevator 70 meters, you will could see and smell the river. The mini- tunnel makes you feel the cold of the river ¡AMAZING! There are some platforms where you get a better view of the river and their strong waves and also get nice photos. The side walk have a lot of history information available. Don't miss this place! You can use the WEGO buss 603 north, until the last stop or just use the address available in google maps. Prices are $16.50 per adult. But I will recommend you buy the seasonal pass at NIAGARA PARK and save something! YOU WILL REALLY LOVE IT! Visit me in Youtube as "TEAM LAS DAMAS TV", I will be uploading at the end of september 2020 some videos about my experience there and other places...
Great little outing, appeared to be wheelchair and stroller accessible. Its fairly quick, taking our time and stopping for lots of pictures we were done in under an hour - feels a bit expensive given this (hence my 4 star rating). Because of higher water levels 2 of the lower observation decks were closed today - a bit of a bummer. But you can't beat the views!
Very impressive rapids, worth the experience even if it's a bit pricey for an elevator ride
Pretty expensive for a short walk beside the rapids. Other than the price, the view isn’t bad. The rapids are grand and majestic and the path is easygoing.
A friend recommended us to go here. We never would have heard about it on our own since we were just passing through. Beautiful nature boardwalk by white rapids. The power of the water is majestic. Great place for pictures on a sunny day. Parking included in price. Worth the money. I highly recommend stopping by.
Amazing place. Highly recommend to anyone......
Nice river walk. Probably we went at a prime time and needed to wait around an hour to get in even though we had it scheduled. You will witness the power of the water with your eyes. Photos don’t do a good job to show it. Plan to spend 2-3 hours in case you need to wait.
We go to the Falls all the time and this was an excursion we had never been on! We absolutely loved it. Very powerful being so close to the rapids. Nice easy boardwalk, very clean, lots of interesting signage along the way. Would definately recommend this!!
It needs a ticket to walk on this little White Water Walk. It is maintained well by Niagara Parks. Great Rapids and the Sound of water will wash your mind. Its fun short walk but its worth it. Tip: Niagara Park offers a Combo Pass which includes this walk so if you’re doing 4 activities its worth to get a Pass. 67 $ + Tax ( free WEGO bus ride throughout destinations for 48 hours )
I went on this walk with 3 other people and park just outside. It was a weekend (Sunday) so parking was free. Go here early ~ 8/8:30am or whoever they open if possible. We did by chance and we didn’t even wait. Upon leaving the line was out the door and far down the road just to buy tickets! Then another wait to take the elevator down to the entrance. Once down, the views are spectacular , and definitely worth it. I might be a sucker though because I love rushing water and the turquoise colour of the rapids. It would be wonderful if they were able to extend he pathway a bit. The walk is SUPER short. We were surprise when we came to the end after a semi pricy ticket. It was beautiful though if you love pretty and sparkling water! ????????
Amazing close up view where you can see river and waves in front of you. Short distance walk, approx 300 meters. You can buy tickets online in advance to avoid the line up on site. I believe you dont have to pay for parking if you are a patron ( double check ). Even in summer, it is slippery and wet so wear accordingly. Strongly recommended not to go when it rains as it could ruin the experiences
Very serene and peaceful. Cool little facts are displayed along the way that one must read!
What a hidden gem! I found this place on a Facebook Top places to visit. My husband and I planned a day trip to Niagra and decided we would check it out. If your in for a quick trip off the beaten busy path of the falls this place is worth the $13 visit. I would go back again, but bring some friends next time. Being that close to the rapids is a rush. The only suggestion I have is o visit earlier in the day for better pictures.
Unbelievable! Totally different angle of the falls river. Good angle to see the power of that current. It's not a long walk, but definitely something you'll enjoy if you have the patience to appreciate it. There's toilettes at the parking lot. Parking is free if you purchase the tickets there and ask for a voucher, then you drop the voucher on your car's dashboard. I wouldn't miss it if I go back.
Peaceful walk along the Niagara River. You will see class 6 rapids. The power of the water is amazing. The whole trail is on a boardwalk. There is an elevator ride up/down to the trail and it seems very wheelchair friendly. The color of the water is unusual and it's a great photo opportunity.
…In this attraction, you will see closely the rushing water of Niagara River…there’s a walking platform or bridge where facts and history are written for quiet a learning experience…Amazing!!!
A awesome place to visit they take u 230 feet down in 30 sec. Advice: book ur tickets in advance. Lady on the counter seems little rude.
Nice to walk down by the river (short walk), but a bit pricey at just under $20. The temperature is cooler by the river than up above, and the tunnel is cold! (refreshingly so on a hot day).
It's the place to go and see it. With the COVID, you need to have mask, paid the tickets 18$ online, and extra time to line up. Walking short distance 500m, but it's beautiful
Must visit, one of the best attraction in Niagara Falls Canada. 23 story down via high speed elevator ride and walk through the tunnel will take you to the breathtaking scenery of Niagara river. Great hiking, well secure walk along the river. Open till November 3rd. Highly recommended, enjoy some of my Collection.
Great place to walk right alongside the water and really see and feel the power of the falls. You take an elevator down and walk a relatively short tunnel to get to the riverside boardwalk. Tickets are $16 for adults and $10 for kids (6-12 yrs). Alternatively, if you have an adventure pass, they are included in your multi attraction pass. Visit the Niagara Parks site for more info, if you plan a visit. Definitely a very col experience!
Amazing 10 to 15 min walk along the trail if you want you can spend more time.
This is such an unexpectedly amazing sight and a must on the to do list! I’m sure it’s a pain during high season with a long wait but we had a great time and got right in in September! The tickets are only $17/adult and they offer free parking, which is amazing for Niagara! There’s an elevator that takes you down to a tunnel that takes you out to a platform and boardwalk along the water’s edge for amazing views of CRAZY rapids and high waves! Truly an amazing sight and there are lots of great views all along the way with informative plaques as well as some lookout areas with steps down to the water level for an even closer look at the impressive power of these rapids! Definitely check them out, best to do it early or off season to spend as long as you’d like with fewer people!
Lovely walk by the whirlpool rapids which are class 6 rapids (the most dangerous type of rapids). The boardwalk is lovely and informative.
Raw energy. Must experience attraction Photos don't do justice
Fantastic walk to view the raging currents of the falls. The water is supposedly 35ft deep here and moving at almost 40km/h! Some of the historical signs mentioned people swimming through the rapids!
Gorgeous place to short walk. Easy to access. All level to walk. Board covered. Recommended. Admin fee cad$17. Pay Parking nearby.
Loved it. An amazing short walk. The only downside was the fact that some do not respect social distance and covid. We enjoyed this very much. Make sure you read all the info along the way! Strongly recommend
Powerful force of nature...beautiful scenery...
Outstanding 1.5 km walk with lookouts to rapids and falls. You need to get tickets ???? for this little walk but it is definitely worth time and money ????. Tickets is $18.65 / adults. One of the best Niagara attraction!! Highly recommended this awesome ???????? experience.
A beautiful and easy walk to do over an hour or two. A tad expensive but super pretty and highly recommend. The rapids are amazing to see and lots of boards explaining the rivers history
It's a really relaxing experience. Worth a visit. I recommend going in the morning or early afternoon. Also, if you're going in rainy season, the boardwalk can be slippery so take special care if going with little ones or seniors. If you're purchasing tickets online, you get free parking right next to White Water Walk so don't worry about parking. They don't mention that so keep that in mind.
Nice to be able to get so close to the waves, but no much of a walk is very short, doesn't justify the fee the charge, was about to ask for a refund if I was not for the nice elevator operator
Really nice walk , wish it was longer. If you don't like elevators close your eyes and go anyway. It's worth it.
Breathtaking view of the rapids from wooden bridges adjacent to the river. Fun factoid placards serve as a selfguided tour manual of sorts. Not entirely accessible but fairly good for those who need mobility aids. Well worth it!
One of the MUST SEE in Niagara. If you are like me who has been to Niagara falls many many times but never got a chance to see this white water walk, you must visit. Hopefully these pictures worth thousands of words.
The rapids - just a breathtaking experience! And there is free parking for visitors, so you don't need to use a parking ticket vending machine - just purchase your white water walk ticket and ask for a parking permit. Put that permit under your windshield. There is a lot of people getting confused by vending machine and ending up paying twice.
Never seen rapids like this before. Breathtaking! Interesting stories about stunt performers at the start of the path as well.
It was great!:)but it wasn't a "tour". Parking was free. They have a gift shop too. And an elevator so people in wheel chairs can go too. I took off a star because the attendants said that the professional picture people leave way before it closes. I saw a machine that im supposed to put my ticket into get a pro picture from a camera set above but it was locked. And the tour lady took us down but then left us there and said she'd be back in 15min. and the place closed in 30min., we did the math and just started on our own but it was weird. We returned too on our own. I just figured $15 for an unguided tour and no picture is steep. They said "tours left every 2min.". Probably should take off more stars but it was very relaxing and neat to feel the power of nature so close. On the other hand, maybe because there was hardly anyone there they let us spend more time there than usual and i should be adding stars. Overall it was a nice experience and the attendants were nice????
Really loved this experience! The Rapids are so fast and it's so interesting to just watch the water move. The elevator ride is over 200 feet down and it's a packed elevator so if you have an issue with that or claustrophobia beware. When you walk through a short tunnel under the mountain and you come out into an area that has history of Niagara Falls and the Rapids. You learn about people who do barrel riding down the Falls as well as people who tried to swim across some who made it some who didn't and finally you get to read about the people who have actually walked a tightrope across the Rapids. Great opportunity for beautiful shots if you're into photography. The walk is on a wooden deck and it's pretty short walk in comparison I would say maybe a quarter mile there and back. Really glad we did this we did it as part of buying a pass for the top four attractions.
Nice walk next to the level 6 rapids coming from the falls. It takes around 30 minutes to the whole walk and there are lots of panels with very interesting information
First times visited this amazing place. And observed the power of the nature. It's have some of the strongest Rapids in the world. First an elevator took us down then passed through a tunnel. (seemed a tunnel from WWII era????) As came out from the tunnel, we found ourselves in beautiful Niagara Gorge, blue green water, crashing waves, roaring sound of river. A boardwalk beside the river, there are several viewing platforms and lot of informations displayed for visitors.
Such a beautiful view of the rapids. When you walk around there's facts about the place. Great place to take pictures and walk around.
I thought this was going to be a waste of time. Wrong! Was the one spot where we genuinely felt the raw power of the river and the rapids and got a feel for what class 6 rapids are all about. Reading about the daredevils and barrel riders put their bravery (stupidity) into perspective.
The attraction was average with exceptional views of some of the fastest rapids in the world. A bit disorganized by not clearly identifying they were sold out 2.5 hours before close and after you pay to park. Some view points not accessible during rain or high water for safety. The manager did make some exceptions including us. The line up to get down and back up can easily be 20-40 minutes so plan accordingly
This is part of our Niagara Fall Classic Pass but it's normally $17 per person to get in this attraction. We were greeted by staff joyfully, so that was nice and then we were directed to an elevator that leads lower to the water. This is a very nice self-guided walk and to see how fast and high the water goes here. There are some great photo spots and bench to just enjoy the water flowing. Overall, the park wasn't busy and lots of space to move, the walkthrough is also nice and sturdy. A MUST to see during your visit. Best to go here using the bus as there is no parking lots around
Nature at it’s best. Nice spots for taking picture. And you can feel the river!
If you get the Niagara Falls Pass you can park for free! It’s one thing to see the falls, but I’ve never seen the rapids this close! What an awesome experience!! The lookouts are so close to the river the waves are over your head!! The sound is almost deafening and you can feel the power of the river in your chest. Totally awesome!!
I always want to see the rapids up close and be safe. I must have passed by this place hundreds time. Now I know about it, I had to go. "White Water Walk" is the place where you can immerse yourself into it. We went down the elevator; 70m deep and it took only 30 seconds. You walk through this cool tunnel (great for a hot day). At the end of the tunnel, you can hear and see the rapids. So tranquil. You can walk down the beautiful boardwalk which takes you along the gorge. So many spots for great pic opportunities. Take your time and enjoy the sound of water crashing against the rock. This is everyone needs to visit when you are in Niagara Falls. It costs $17 per person. Go early and have a time of your life.
Beautiful place!! Amazing view of the power of the nature. I felt very impressed with the rapids and the color of the water. Amazing to know more about local history as well. Calm and resending adventure.
- INSTA and FB friendly place - The whole experience was amazing! The fee was worth it, make sure to pay attention to the parking sign, IT'S FREE when you are going to get the White Water Walk Ticket. Short but sweet????
Simply breathtaking! I went there with family on a weekday. Not very busy and social distancing was upheld. There's parking across the street and I wouldn't spend more than hour there. You can also buy the tickets online to avoid the queue.
Excellent walk along the Niagara river and very enjoyable. Good spot for kids and families to enjoy sights and sounds of Niagara a little bit down from the packed tourist areas.
This was included in our classic adventure pass. What a beautiful walk along the class 6 rapids! Lots of info along the walk, and a great scenic place for pictures and videos. Ignore all the negative comments, because this is beautiful!!
Phew! Never ever ever ever underestimate the power of nature. Especially rapids. And WWW is a level 6 rapids. And the visitor centre asks us to be careful. Ok.... Now, the place is fantastic. Absolutely mind boggling looking at the rapids. Often you are forced to close the eyes and listen to the sounds of water. No amount of explanation or for that matter video/photo will do justice. You have to see it and then place it in your mind memory for a memorable storage. Must see attraction in Niagara.
Great place to spend an hour at sight seeing and info reading.
It's a class 6 water raft. One time visit. Small walk along the river will give you multiple spots to enjoy the view. Peaceful on a clear day.
Beautiful view..! Don’t have more words to describe it, perfect to take pictures.
Beautiful! It's only about a 1 km walk (2 km both ways) therefore a little too expensive for $16.50 + tax per person as the entire experience can be done in less than a hour. There's an elevator to take you up and down to the walking path. Friendly employees ????
Overpriced Its a little walk up and down this wooden bridge... you could easily just spend 30 minutes there.. But it’s absolutely beautiful!
Now this was an attraction I couldn't believe I'd never heard of, or been to, while growing up in Toronto and getting to Niagara every now and then. Very neat location along the Whirlpool Gorge; great photo ops. Class 6 rapids!
Very nice walk along the class 6 rapids. The churning of the water and size of the waves is amazing. There are lots of signs with interesting nuggets of information about the history of the area. Well worth the stop. Spend anywhere from 30 minutes on up depending on how slow you want to take it all in.
Cool experience... Those rapids are aggressive!! FUN FACT: waves in some parts of the rapids can be as high as 6 meters. Takes about 30 minutes to do the walk. It’s not physically demanding (at all) and accessible for all (thanks to a well maintained boardwalk). Also parking on the street is free - simply register your car with security. On that note: the Security guard is very strict about physical distancing - and that was very appreciated ???????? Highly recommend this experience!
A place to be visited multiple times. Color and sound of the water are mesmerizing. Color of water is green. View of the wood bridge, rock, water, underground tunnel are too good. Place is well maintained. Staffs are well behaved and they guide everyone. The history and fact are well written. A place to be visited multiple times.
A one of a kind walk. We got here at a perfect time, around 9am in October. I imagine this isnt near the experience with crowds. There was probably only a dozen people on the boardwalk. It was fantastic and the class 6 rapids were truly awe-inspiring
Loved it! Worth the money even though the walk is pretty short. It's very interesting to see how fast the water is moving and the beautiful green color. The line moves relatively quickly and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ok to bring a baby but recommend babywearing.
While most will rave on about how mighty and strong Niagara Falls itself is, if there was ever a place to witness the raw power of the Niagara River's rapids, this is the place. This attraction is not to be missed. The walkway allows visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with otherwise dangerous off-the-chart rapids. Standing near the roaring water will literally suck the air out of your lungs. Prepare to be exhilarated, and probably get splashed with water. There are photo opportunities galore. You can walk at your own pace, and go as long (or short) as you/your group prefers. Again, this experience is NOT to be missed. In my experience, there's nothing else like this in the Niagara region or anywhere else! Visited in August 2012
We purchased a package deal that also included this attraction. This is a very beautiful spot and the most underrated attraction ever. You can catch the beauty of the glorious foam like water. There are a couple of spots where the water actually hits the rocks and flows into the viewing area. It looks fiercely beautiful.
The White Water Walk was a part of our Niagara Falls Adventure Pass and boy am I glad it was. This is something that I never would have thought about doing otherwise but I'm glad I didn't miss out on it. Here you'll ride an elevator down and you'll get to walk on a boardwalk past some grade 6 rapids. This is self guided so you can spend as much or little time as you want down there and we spent a lot. Highly recommend.
I have no idea why I had never visited this before. It was so barren of greenery but it was still gorgeous and I will absolutely be coming back in the coming months when everything blooms. The waters are incredibly powerful and I just basically stood there in awe at every view of the rapids. I will be coming back here at least once a year now.
Great clean trail with cement sidewalks that you can walk right along the class 6 rapids and just zone out. I suggest you pay for the daily parking pass in advance so u can not have to worry about that. Fantastic educating experience.
Fun little walk. Not as long as u expected it to be. But incredible to see and feel the power of the water down there. Lots of plaques talking about history and science of the area.
This has got to be one of the best Niagara experiences.... It is a great up-close experience of the Niagara white water rapids, that is very truly a one-of-a-kind experience that cannot be duplicated anywhere else in the world up-close to some of the world's fastest water rapids. This is a MUST SEE!!! It is one of the best attractions in Niagara Falls, though it's not a Falls attraction but a Class A White Water Rapids attraction. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!
Beautiful view and display of nature. Calming sound of the rapid waves and small walk takes about 20mins. Great lookout points perfect for a picture.
Great walk, awesome to view the white water rapids up close
Amazing niagara river! The color of the river water is very beautiful. The river is turbulent and flows quickly
One of my favourite Niagara attractions! You can get a real sense for the force of the water as it makes it's way through the Category 5 rapids. It is peaceful in the gorge and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the sites near the falls. This attraction is easily accessible with the people mover bus. If arriving by vehicle, you can park in the lot across the street and pay by meter or obtain a complimentary parking pass from the attraction desk which is valid while you're in the gorge.
It is awesome, not only the river is beautiful, but just to marvel at the power of the water, wow... this is a unique experience, highly recommended! Very easy to get there, take the green bus line from the falls to the White Water Walk stop, it's about 10 min ????
Its a nice attraction with lot of amazing facts. Its a must see If you like the sound of the gushing rapids with standing waves as high as 4 m. Everyone can appreciate it at many different levels
Its okay. Wooden pathway beside the rapids is about 30 mins roundtrip including stops at several location to take photo and enjoy the view. 17$ fee per adult, 2.5$ parking for 60 mins. Path is flat 250-300m max, several spot with stairs to get close to rapid. Line up for elevator to get down is long. Temple Namo Amitabha is closed which was my main interest to go there.
The view was gorgeous and it gave me a new appreciation for the strength of the current. It's a little out of the way, there's a transportation service you can purchase. With some attraction packages it comes included!
A bit pricey, but the walk was very nice. It's short. I think it would be more worth it if the price was a bit less. But it's a great walk!
This was one of the events in our 2-day basic pass, really interesting. The rushing water, creating so high and loud was incredibly surreal. It was a beautiful day and clear and couldn’t have asked for better weather. Self timed walk but there were cool little tidbits of information on the boardwalk downstream. It’s very low key, but definitely cool to experience.
This is a great place to go! Very pretty views. You don't get wet here. You walk along a boardwalk and enjoy the view and water. They have 6 grade rapids, some of the fastest in the world. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
It's must visit , absolutely perfect
Very disappointed as the walk is very short. I expected (for some reason) that it will bring me almost until the very whirlpool, but no, not even halfway. The most interesting part of the gorge isn’t covered. Besides, some of the employees at the entrance were quite rude to other visitors.
This is excellent activity to see the downstream of the Niyagara river. This is one of the best actives that you do with your family if you visit Niyagara. I really enjoy the boardwalk. It's a 750 m board walk, with places where you can be next to the river. The rapids of Niagara river can be seen very close. I was told that the water runs at speeds of 40kmph and the colour of the water is green and Blue.
walk is awesome, but money is an issue here. these kind of things should be free for everyone and the other complaint I have is that its too short. I would have loved it if I could walk around for a longer stretch.
It is just a really beautiful board walk for you to appreciate the beauty of this water. Very easy to walk. However, it might be a bit too short in distance for the money that we are paying to get in.
It’s a nice place for spending an hour an get as close as possible to the rage of white waves. I am giving three stars only because inconvenience in getting tickets. I bought ours online hoping that we will skip the line for buying tickets. It turned out that what their website gives you is only a voucher and you again need to stay in the line (very slow) to exchange those with tickets. So useless!!
A great place to safely get close to this beautiful river, great place to take some videos and pictures.
Fantastic way to be up close and personal with white water! The walkway is maintained and there are lots educational boards along the walk. Beautiful spots to get closer to the water's edge.
Awesome experience with water flowing on one side at full speed
Best place to visit ….enjoy the water flow ,high waves.Best photoshoot point…. friendly staff too.
As alot of people have said, this is a neat attraction where you get to walk along the rapids and appreciate the view being in the gorge. Parking is free across the street, just ask one of the staff how to get a pass when buying your ticket. Time to allocate is an hour tops!
Very friendly staff and amazing views of the rapids!!! A very relaxing walk by the side of the rapids, admiring the strength of the class 6!!!! A highly recommended trip, it's included in the adventure pass, accessible by bus through the green line.
It is a well maintained walkway, very beautiful and gives an amazing view of the rapids with information plaques giving a variety of information for the tourists. The sound of the river flowing, the thunder as it makes its way over the rocks is fascinating and unforgettable. It is a must visit for tourists. We were lucky to have warm and sunny weather during our walk as later in the afternoon it started raining.
It is so beautiful if you like water. You come face to face with the Niagara water here. You can feel the rapids, they are in front of you. I mean you come down 23 floors with the help of a fast elevator to come down to the water level. Over there, they have built a safe wooden path along with the river so that people can enjoy the water from a distance.
This walk is such a different perspective of the falls rapids and the wildlife in the area. It's an easy walk to take, great for those who move more slowly by preference or need. It's so beautiful.
That’s even better than Journey behind the falls ????
This has to be the biggest hidden Jem in Niagara. This was the best money we spent. There is so much history associated with this attraction. But also a great way to view the water up close and personal. We were able to meet with a.staff member who had been there since the 80s he was so knowledgable and friendly he had alot of stories to share with alot of history of the American side and Canadian side! Will def return in the spring!!!
Picked up the Adventure Pass at the Welcome Centre. This pass gets you into the White Water Walk, Niagara's Fury, behind the Falls and a 2 day bus pass on the WeGo bus. It's a straight forward site, you walk down the damp cool tunnels to get to the bridge that runs parallel to the water. It's a relaxing walk with a few stops to get closer to the water and get some nice shots. Nothing spectacular but relaxing and worth checking off your list. I'd recommend you save this site as one of your last stops as there are more interesting activities like the boat cruise that takes you right to the base of the falls.
Awesome spot to check out the amazing Niagara rapids! This is a quarter mile boardwalk along side a class 6 rapids, it's a beautiful and amazing sight to see the color and power of the rapids. It's definitely a spot to see while visiting Niagara. The only caution is to note the wait to descend the elevator to reach the boardwalk as well as the line to take the elevator back up once you are done, so be prepared for the extra time necessary. Also, there is a free parking lot across the street from the entrance with paid admission to the rapids, so don't pay for street parking!
Nice walk by the river. Very old and scary elevator to take you down or use the old stairs. You can feel the power of the water
I really enjoyed this. The blue-green colour of the water makes the waves really beautiful, and the observation decks were well-placed. The information on the signs was interesting as well.
Lovely boardwalk on the river with great views, but it's very short for the money paid. It's worth it if you want everything on the pass but i wouldn't pay for this alone.
We stumbled upon this attraction as we were walking past and I'm so glad we did. It was well worth the entry cost (which was quite moderate). The elevator took us down 23 floors right to the river level where we were able to see the Class 6 rapids up close. It's a self guided tour and you can stay as long as you wish. The walk is along a boardwalk and you walk as far as you wish, though there is an inexpensive display at the end next to a platform right at water level. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the staff were friendly and the gift shop awesome
One of our favorites! Great view like no other. So worth getting the 2 day visit package.
Beautiful spot, easy to walk, clean and safe. Will visit again.
We went to this place in summer, great place to see. The water currents are so fast. Great view. It is a short walk.
Beautiful walk along the Niagara River. About a 1/4 mile each way, but you can take your time. While you can take photos everywhere, there's a few designated spots where the photos are particularly good.
Such a beautiful place and experience - totally worth the trip! However, the trail is quite short and I do find it a bit expensive to pay $17/person. If you're planning on making a day of it - I would recommend looking into purchasing Niagara Falls Passes from niagaraparks.com because it includes a lot more experiences and will probably save you money in the long run.
Extremely inconsiderate and rude staff. We checked online for timings, and it said 6pm. Our family got there at 5.30 after a 90 min drive and already being shut by whirlpool aero car staff (which also closed half an hour early) they decided to close early too. We made requests, kind of pleaded, but the lady at counter did not care and rudely said NO.. It shows how bad the management for these places is.
Great place to get close to the river. Lots of spots to take pictures and there are plenty of signs to learn about the area along the walk. I really enjoyed it and felt it was worth the cost.
Fantastic the water is so loud you can actually feel the force it has. Also so close to the water..one thing don't pay the parking outside it is incorporated with the the price of the tour..pay inside..
It is a nice place, easy to park your car and it’s free, just ask them to get the park ticket. beautiful place.
It is a very nice walk alongside the class 5 rapids. The only issue is the wait time. It can take upwards of an hour to get into the elevator at peak times. They should install another elevator, or stairs for those who don't want to wait on the elevator.
Great experience, you get to wander a long boardwalk at your own pace, right up against the thunderous power of the rapids. Seeing it in person is very different than watching a video: you appreciate the magnitude of the power. Some of the lower deck enclosures were off limits when we went which was a bit sad, but hopefully they open up again soon. Very Instagram worthy photos and videos to be had here. Great little placard signs along the way give interesting historical and geological information. One quibble: the angled parking on-site makes backing out blindly into a live lane of north-bound traffic kind of scary, and those drivers are not going the speed limit. Nice gift shop on-site.
Amazing walk at the side of fast flowing water. Although its a very short walk but the beauty of the location is very mesmerizing. I personally believe ticket rates are bit high but it also includes road side parking outside of the location.
What an amazing, unmissable activity. Please do not skip this if you take the Niagara Pass. The walk next to the foaming rushing majestic river in the gorge will make your day. Start early ( 10 to 11 am) for a non busy experience
Beautiful views but no social distancing. They make you get in a tiny elevator with strangers . ( 6 total, we were with 4 strangers cramped together )
Always a pleasant walk here!
Pretty cool place, if you haven't been do yourself a favor and see the awesome power of the whirlpool rapids.
Amazing place. Class 6 white water rapids. Customer service is too good. Must visit place in Niagara. Wheel chair accessible and people of all ages will feel happy when they see this place.
Really awesome nature walk down along the Niagara River. Well worth the short drive and small entry fee
The views are great, we'll maintained boardwalk. I wish it was a bit longer, otherwise, good fun out in nature.
Beautiful unique tourist destination. Been to the falls a lot but this was one of the best new additions. You get really close to the water and it can even splash on you. The scenery is beautiful!
We went on a Sunday, not too busy. Some areas were blocked off because of high water. Still worth it. So relaxing, and a good walk down the rapids.
Relaxing walk close with a sturdy wooden walkway and steep foliage on one side and the waters on the other! You can really see and hear the rapids up close with occaisional viewing platforms closer to the water edge and interesting little facts on signs sprinkled throughout
You can purchase tickets online or from the counter. They give you parking pass for the time you are there. So don’t make the mistake we did. And go directly here. This is a little far from the original niagra falls!! The walk is wonderful and the water was mesmerizing!! I really enjoyed being there. You can finish this within one hour. You can also get a day pass which includes journey behind the falls and many more things.
bets attraction ever must do this when going to niagara! we went down a elevator and purchased our tickets on sight you can purchase your tickets before as well. when we got there we looked at the most dangerous rapids in canada and it was so nice and peaceful the water was goign so fast and there was so many waves. i would so do this again if i had the chance to.
