We have the reviews of real people who used the services and products of MarineLand (Museum) in Niagara Falls (Canada).
At the present the firm receives a score of 3.2 stars over 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is average, neither too high nor too low, and it is founded on a very high number of scores, so we may think that the valuation is very faithful. If people have bothered to value when they are pleased, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Museum belongs to the category of Theme park.
Had lots of fun here, to name a few of my little one’s favourite places: the splash pad, fish feeding, and bumble bee ride. On top of that, they have the best fountain Pepsi!
Don't go there!! Worst place ever! Take your money and go to wonderland or Toronto’s aquarium. My family and I went there and it was a disappointment. The rides are unkept along with the animals. You have to walk long to see poor rides with lots of bushes around them. My kids were so heart broken to see how badly the animals looked. They have vowed never to return
Took my son here and he absolutely loved seeing the animals. We went there knowing the rides were closed due to the pandemic and still was alot of fun. We will definitely return and hopefully by then things will be back to normal ????
Very informative and entertaining place where kids can enjoy rides of all ages and watch the Dolphin's show. They also have the picnic area. The Dolphin show is very entertaining and informative. You can also upgrade your day pass to a season pass at very nominal cost. Definitely will be visiting this place again and have visited this place multiple times. I love the most is the tiny penguins in the Penguin Palace, right beside the entrance.
We used to love Marineland, it was our favorite place to visit during Summer. This year, not only the prices have gone crazy,$50 per person, but the rides were 90% closed, the kids got to enjoy only the view of the beluga Whales, deers, bears, killer whales and just 10 minutes show with the dolphins. They should definitely lower the prices, especially after shutting down most of the entertainment facilities. The Sky Screamer was working, but 1/3 capacity,so imagine lineups. I'm a little disappointed.
The best thing about it is that you come very close to the animals. The dolphin show is good but the theme park is only suitable for below 10. If you have older kids don’t waste your money and time, just visit Wonderland and African Lion Safari.
I had not visited this place and I liked it a lot. Very good attention of workers, professionals in the care of animals, access for disabled people, the souvenir shop very large and with a large number of items. The wide and very rich food area, good prices; only 15 or 20 minutes from downtown Niagara Falls by car. The mechanical games very funny, in short; You can enjoy a full day with the family there and you can take food as there are picnic areas inside the park.
Super nice place! Lots to do, we couldn't even get through the entire park. The hamburger place was very nice and made halal burger for us. The kids loved the rides and we adults loved it too ???? ????
I loved the place. I will definitely go back there again. The dolphins shows are amazing I loved it. Also they have few other animals like bears, tigers etc. If you want to enjoy everything you must go in the morning so that you can spend most of the day and see everything. Will recommend to cary food because the food there is expensive. Rides are amazing they have for adults and kids. They have the staff all around so if you get lost finding a place they can help you. They have options to go close to the animals but only for specific times. They have lot of parking with no extra cost it’s included in the ticket. They have a lot of parking reserved too. But it’s better to go early so that you can get a spot closer to the gates. They have a picnic area for family so if you just want to sit and relax you can do that. Best time to go there is weekdays because weekends gets really busy. Its not too expensive compared to what you can get in that.
This place should not be open. Keeping animals in captivity for years for exploitation is horrible and can be seen in Marineland especially. The orca is so lonely that she is literally banging her body against the tank. So horrible. I will never go here again or support any place that allows animals to suffer both physically and psychologically. To parents who are thinking of bringing their children here for their amusement- please don’t. You’re only teaching your children to be okay with the mistreatment of animals and are supporting places that take animals from their natural habitat into a prison.
Nothing much to spent time here, if your looking for rides and games. it’s good place to enjoy with family and friend as a picnic spot but worth for $50 tickets. One of the best thing is Dolphin show it’s fantastic and mind blowing. Animals are taken care very well, Park is very clean and washroom are well maintained, most important parking is free where they can allot too many cars. If they had some more stuffs show wide & fun wise then it’s no doubt 5 stars from me...
Great to visit on a Monday. No lines and got to do some rides twice due to lack of folks. Not a lot of animals to see and everything is oddly spaced out. Be prepared to walk. Lockers are a good investment for two loonies. The splash area was great at the end of our day. The shows during the afternoon are about 20 mins long and worth seeing.
I like the sea lion and beluga show here. This place is one of the largest amusement park I've visited. However, some rides are permanently closed. I would recommend this place for children. My kids enjoyed the rides like bumblebee and the octopus. We've also seen Bison, Bear, Deer, and lots of birds. My kids trying to catch seagulls. The admission fee here seems to be too expensive for that reason I rated 3 stars for this park. And the restaurants offers few choices of food. There are lot of parking space but if you come late you might have to walk far going to the entrance. The best time to come here probably Summer and Fall. With its space, I believe they can still improve this park and make it a more exciting place to visit for everyone, not only for children. Overall our kids had a good experience in Marineland.
Some of the best rides were closed and that really sucked. Their food is awesome. Their staff is great. They didn't make you wear a mask which was AMAZING!! Reccomend!
Nice place for the belugas. Honestly, I feel like the places have been the same for 20 years. The amusement park needs modernization. Disappointing price $ 50 (adults) and $43 children for so little.More than half of the rides were defective or non-functional.
It is a combination of the zoo, aquarium and amusement park. Decoration themes are adorable, lovely sceneries with lots of trees, flowers and a river running across the area, very suitable for kids, a nice place for adults too but the entertainment is quited limited and not as thriliing as others. They have free train but limited stops for pickup and drop off. The restaurant has decent options for common fast food like fried chickens, burgers, pizza, hotdogs, fries and salad. Toilets are located evenly and clean.
the experience with dolphins, belugas, orca and other animals is awesome. the rides are to old. and the park needs more animation. the aquarium is very small and old. good price in food and variety. free parking. picnic are is good. arcade old.
Please do NOT go here. They promote animal abuse. Recently, there was footage of an orca all alone, depressed, and it was trying to kill itself. Some orcas have died of starvation, and some are tortured just so they can earn money. Not just orcas, but they also harm other marine animals! This is a terrible place, and please do not support them! Supporting this place is basically supporting animal cruelty. They abuse all kinds of animals, and supporting them is basically supporting animal abuse. I wish I could give them a 0, but that is not possible.
The animals are very talented. It's really nice and fun. The parc is kind of big
Would give zero stars if I could! They mistreat, neglect, and abuse the Bears extremely bad there, and the other animals. It's a sad situation. They need to get with the times, and modernize the whole place, Maybe rescue animals that need shelter, and give them a nice healthy place to stay with all the money you get from having them there. Honestly it's really bad.
Wow...I'm at a loss for words. I took my niece and her friend here for her birthday during the summer, and was absolutely APALLED at the employees. First of all, the whole park is disgusting and dirty. They really should hire janitors or something - trash was EVERYWHERE. We even saw a gross diaper on the sidewalk that looked like it had been there a while. When I told an employee that it was a safety hazard, they ROLLED THEIR EYES and walked away from me. Said to just not look at it. Absolutely unacceptable. And then later, we were looking at some of the animals, and my niece asked what kind of animal it was, and the employee just said "uh, I don't know, some type of whale?" SO unprofessional. All the rides are really boring. Also, saw an employee SPIT into one of the animals pools. What?! Will NOT be returning!
Good old Marineland, now very easily accessible, empty parking lot like never before (staff told me last year on this time they were almost out of parking in the overflow lot). NO RIDES ARE OPEN, so you're limited to the nice walk around the park. Deers are locked, can see them at the gate when staff throws some corn to them. Can still feed the black bears, always a fun experience, also the huge carps in the nearby pond, along with ducks, geese and swans. The restaurant's offer is limited to almost a joke, probably due to lack of personnel. The dolphins show is still on, little less than the usual and the walrus is gone. But the show is still fun and pleasant. The penguins are new (last year i hear) and a nice surprise, better suited to the smaller aquarium right by the entrance. All personnel wears masks, those serving food included. They wear masks even outdoors (you don't have to) which is a bit extreme but their problem . Overall still a great day out, but for about the same price as before with less activities. However it will still get your young ones to sleep better!
Or kids (5,7,9) had a blast here. We were there on a Wednesday and Thursday and had to wait at most 10 min for a couple rides all day. The park is spread out, so take a stroller if you have any little ones. They have added a train for transportation, but it doesn't run super often, so wet took our once or twice for the experience but mostly walked. The shows weren't the same as when I was a kid, but still entertaining. The employees were all very friendly and took the time to answer all of our kids questions about the animals. We packed or own food and water which saved some money. Be sure to have lots of water on hot days. We had decent weather (somewhat overcast) and still went through a lot of water. You can tell the park is no longer in its glory days, but still a great time for the kids. A seasons pass is only $5 more (you can purchase it before leaving they park if you want to wait), so we had two days there. Awesome deal if you live in the area, but good deal even if you only spend the two days like we did. The new splash pad was a bit disappointing since our 9 year old was to big for any slides and the rest was just animal themed water jets. No buckets or the usual splash pad items. A bit odd for a brand new splash pad.
Of the best places for families to visit where all can enjoy their time. It's a huge edutainment place for kids to have fun and learn at the same time about the marine life. Rides are nice and safe and all included in the entrance fees. There is a live show for dolphins and sea lions, very interesting!
Good park for kids to enjoy. Staffs are kind and good. Not crowded. Had a fun time on a Sunday. Separate ‘Family Rides’ where kids under 3 can enjoy in 3-4 rides like Ferry’s wheel, boat carousel, Lady Bug roller-coaster, Bee ride. Nice …
I love Marineland. Visited a few times over the years - normally in early May before the season starts. If you visit off season, you will be able to enjoy the rides as many times as you'd like without any lines.
It was awesome and just seeing how well its been kept up since I was last there (many moons ago)... It was great. It adhered to the nostalgia the theme park held for me when I was so young. And now my kids got to experience it too. There's a lot of walking, but I feel it was well worth the exercise!!! I also feel like admission is a bit steep, but it is what it is I guess.
I liked the splash pad, rides and gift shop, but it’s heartbreaking to see the animals captivated in places with nothing that their natural habitat had. This has become my least favourite zoo in Canada and tourist attraction in Niagara Falls. This literally animal abuse. This place should be closed down and replaced with a better zoo or something else
Some of the trainers there are absolutely amazing.... Because of COVID a lot of things are closed so beware when going.
Charging people money for a cup of Corn Pops to feed to bears who are begging for food is disgusting. Many rides are overgrown with grass and weeds. Animals are kept in poor conditions. I wouldn't go back... actually, I wish I had never gone in the first place; I feel guilty for supporting it by paying for tickets. This place should be shut down due to the terrible conditions for the animals.
As a kid to now I will forever hate this place 30years later they decide to investigate this mass prison and graveyard. Let them go. And those saying they didn't get animal entertainment here and to go to the zoo or African Lion Safari - you're the problem. None of these animals need to be trapped days on end for your 2 hour of possible enjoyment. Free Kiska already!!!!!!!! Let them all go to sanctuaries at least!!!!!!!
Everyone loves Marineland ❤️ great place to visit for the family. Great dolphin show, encounter with Beluga whales and Orca specially if you are lucky to be there during feeding times. Get wet with Polar splash. Get to feed the deers. It’s covid pandemic times and can’t expect for more. All park rides are shut down but you can still always enjoy with your family and learning exposure for children. You also support parks like this to stay alive as it is a very deficit times for all businesses entire world. Covid temp check at entrance. Covid safety measure all over the park so it’s safe and allot of distancing open air spaces to enjoy Washroom are open Little less food choices available but so it’s understandable Parking is free Full price for entrance fees but they automatically upgrade your single entry pass into season pass so you don’t have to rush and can always keep going back for free. Dolphin show photos and videos attached with this review. More photos coming for all other activities you can do here at Marineland. If you find this review helpful, please so drop is your generous like. Thanks ???? you.
these types of places should be banned for good. They exploit animals and put them in artificial environment for humans enjoyment. Same with the circuses and many zoos. No, animals don't have any fun by being there. Did they tell you how they like it there?
I took my kids here NEVER AGAIN. My kids were crying at the poor conditions of the animals, my daughter pointed out the orca and said "mummy she looks alone and sad" we ended up leaving at this point not many rides and they are a long walk away. Around 6 animals and all kept in small dirty tanks either isolated or overcrowded. Just sickens me I will never pay to see captive animals again what a horrendous experience..
Awesomeplace for the entire family. Kids had a blast, adults didn't wanna leave. Such fun.
It was really great. All the rides were fun. Has fun stuff for all age groups. There is 3 dolphin shows @ 12pm @3pm & 6pm. Individuals or families are allowed to bring food. Rental strollers are available after entry.
I went on the screamer this time!!! Still can't believe I did it ???????????????? Saw the show and beluga and Kiska (killer ????) feeding. Great for kids, family and picnics ☀️????
So much fun stuff to play there. We bought the general admission and upgraded to seasonal pass. Not recommend to kids under 3 years old. But for bigger kids, it's so interesting that my kids don't want to go home.
Save the animals, they refuse to let their animals retire and won’t help their poor orca who is clearly in need of help. I wish we could ban these places and hold the management accountable. I’m from Australia and videos of their animals are popping up all over my tiktok and people need to stop supporting and spending their money in these places
While whales and sea creatures are currently commanding the most attention from outraged people, let us not forget there is neglect, death and unfortunate conditions present for all the animals in their care. Realistically, Marineland owners have shown their true colours by their disregard of doing what is fair and just. To those still going to this park, donate your money to an animal charity instead and stop funding places that are not moving profits forward to create a better world for all of us.
Marineland is amazing I have been going for almost 40 years I love it my kids love it lots of rides and animals we go almost every weekend and buy seasonal passes what a wonderful place to take your family to learn about sea creatures and go on rides
This park was fun, not to large, and the kids enjoyed the rides. Could have used some extra cleaning in some areas, but overall good. There was little to no one else in the park when we attended so no wait times. Quite a few rides were closed when we went, but this may have been due to the lack of ppl there. It was a slightly rainy day. Food was simple and relatively good, but not many options. Prices in gift shop were very reasonable. The show was great, and the entertainers were very good with the animals.
Half the rides were not operational "because of COVID". Very disappointing. If everything was up and running it would have been worth the money.
I feel like a lot of the one-star reviews are from individuals who have not even stepped foot on the grounds. Having said that, you will have to be the judge of whether the price is worth the admission. There are about nine rides which are operational, 5 to 6 animal viewing areas, and one show. A lot of the attractions are spaced quite far apart. There is a lot of walking. Overall, it was okay.
It's alright. Had free tickets, would definitely not pay the price they desire. Most certainly more a place to bring your young children. A LOT of walking between attractions. The animals you'll see: orca (killer whale), beluga, black bear, deer, bison, fish, dolphin, sea lion, and couple others. The animal show was actually informative and entertaining. Can tell the animals get to decide if they want to do the "tricks." Some of the rides weren't operational and the walrus exhibit was closed (I think because they died recently but not sure).
The animals are very interactive and the ability to feed all the animals is great. You can feed bears, beluga whales(awesome) ,fish and others. We had a blast and it doesnt take up a whole day to complete everything. Plenty of time to enjoy and not rushed through.
If you have any empathy, avoid this place! I am hopeful these type of places are becoming more rare as time goes on....still, my heart goes out to my fellow creatures that are treated this way. Shame on them for putting profit before all else!
Very fun and educational experience. There is lots to do with ur kids. Very smart animals. Is worth the trip
This is my first time visiting and am so excited to be here with my family. Well organized and safe place to enjoy.
The rating only goes to the beautiful mammals we saw, the site is clean too but rides and attractions are too far apart. Some attractions were closed. The aquarium where they have fish was depressing, dirty, and the few fish they have look sick. The upper tank was empty where there was supposed to have sea lions
