Just love going here, it had been a long while and I think this was the first time we actually got to see so many different stages of the development, including one flying out of the incubator area! So many beautiful colours, and kids love watching them landing on people.
Definitely a fun place to visit, especially with young kids. It’s a little pricey, especially if you include the cost of parking. We got reduced ticket prices via our CAA membership and have an annual parking pass for Niagara Parks, so it was reasonable.
Very beautiful! My mom absolutely loooved it. Butterflies come & sit on you & it is just a breathtaking experience. If you’re in Niagara Falls, make sure to pay a visit because it is definitely worth it. Make sure to wear bright colours as the butterflies will be attracted to you. There is no time limit so you will have ample time to enjoy your experience. They also have seats for when you get tired which is awesome cuz its a huge place! It was $17 per person so it was totally worth it!
Came here because admission is included in the Niagara falls' Wonder Pass. We went in with very low expectation but came out pleasantly surprised. The conservatory is filled with many different kinds of butterflies, and although it didn't take more than 20 minutes to walk through the whole thing, but it's worthwhile if you don't have to pay for the admission separately.
A very well maintained conservatory. Both kids and adults can equally enjoy watching a great collection of butterflies. You need around 45mts - 1hr to spend there.
A smaller area than you would expect and definitely not worth the inflated ticket prices but you can certainly still enjoy the stroll through. Tons of butterflies and very well maintained. Staff are very friendly as well.
It was magical! We all loved it especially my son :) Giving them 4 stars only because as soon as you enter the actual place where you mingle with the amazing butterflies, nobody's monitoring visitors if they're following covid protocols. The facility is so strict during the line up but as soon as you're ready to enter everyone is just doing their own thing, saw 2 kids not wearing their masks, little to no social distancing... it was just a little bit messy. Hopefully this improves. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.
A very worthy place to visit. Exceeded my expectations. For children, there is a complete delight in communicating with butterflies, there are a lot of them both in size and color. It is interesting to watch their feeding. An excellent breeding area has been created. .with a discount ticket great price
It was about $40 for me and my boyfriend but honestly it was totally worth it. It takes about 20 minutes to walk through if you stop and take pictures/look at the landed butterflies. The hatching butterflies were so beautiful. There was a gardener who was working and he was doing his best to trim any plants that weren't needed and pick up whatever hurt/dead butterflies he could. Its not as hot as everyone complains about and the butterflies are super photogenic!
What a beautiful environment, as soon as l walked in l had a sense of calm. I found the enclosure a bit small, we walked around twice. If you happen to be in Niagara falls l would recommend you visit the Butterfly ???? Conservatory.
So beautiful, magical & peaceful. Unfortunately I didn't think about the heat, humidity & wearing a mask! Apparently butterflies liked my top! They were landing all over me. It was pretty cool.
We were very lucky when we went. The staff mentioned that the butterflies were extremely active on that day. It was magical, everywhere you look, there are butterflies or moths fluttering about. If you're lucky (and we were ♡) some will gently land on you.
It was awesome! I can spend all day watching them. Exceed my expectations. It was a great experience. There were so many butterflies that will come and sit to your hands. Really enjoyed! Only thing I want to say to visitors that people need to watch out while walking. I found some people walking and not watching. Some butterflies lying on the floor and people stepped over them without knowing. It broke my heart. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN WALKING. Highly recommended.
An exquisite place of beautiful creatures. With informative displays and a wonderful gift shoppe. While in the Conservatoru watch your step as the ???? can be anywhere including the floor some are well camouflaged when their wings are closed making it very easy to step on them by mistake.
There was a very nice and beautiful place ???? There places to seat outside and inside???? Also there were washroom too. The entrance fee was $17 and we paid that happily. I have seen many places like this but it feel good differently ???? If you are in Niagara falls, you should go and visit this awesome conservatory ????
Had a Great time. One of the destination activities my husband and I visited here during our honeymoon, as newlyweds of course. The butterflies are absolutely beautiful. I was at a butterfly conservatory many years ago, as a young girl, and got to have a butterfly on my hand. Unfortunately...the butterflies weren't as desiring to approach Me...BUT one did land on my husband's head, and another on another man's back. Proceed with caution as you're walking on the stones, as some butterflies like to land there also.
It was a nice little visit. The parks that surround are large. Nice spot for a walk. The butterflies were very cool. I would go back in a few years.
We visited in August 2012. Very cool place; it was like stepping into an enclosed tropical jungle right in Niagara Falls. (Be prepared for some humidity!) Many cool butterflies and natural growth to be seen. Worth a visit.
The most magical experience I've ever had by far. So Peaceful and absolutely worth the money. You can walk around and sit down as many times as you like. And even pick up the butterflies. No wait time at all! Loved this place.
We had a great experience at the conservatory. The place was clean and fulfilled all social distancing protocols. You enter into a tropical world of beautiful, colorful butterflies and plants. It was absolutely magical. A must for all, especially kids.
A more lowkey attraction at Niagara, I would honestly say this is one of my most favourite things to see here. There are so many beautiful butterflies and they fly so close to you. Truly breathtaking 45 minute experience.
Love this place. Its a family-friendly, kids-loving, mist relaxing, picture-perfect place to enjoy. 100's of butterflies freely fly around the closed in area, where people can walk through one way to see thr bytterflies flutter around. Must visit and defenetly recomended to families with kids.
Beautiful place to visit. Butterflies are flying all around you, and it makes you feel like you’re in a fairytale. Sometimes they land on you and it’s totally amazing! Lots of people complained in the reviews that it’s humid - and yes, it’s humid there, but the climate is definitely made for butterflies to live there, so I was no complaining, but respected the environment. There were some kids who tried to catch the butterflies, and their parents even didn’t say them anything. So, if you have small kids who misbehave, you better avoid visiting this place, don’t stress the butterflies, respect the nature.
I absolutely loved this place!! Very pretty and lots of room for these little butterflies! Very beautiful! When I went it was alittle crowded and almost no social distancing but I was too focused on how beautiful everything was! We also went on this amazing carriage ride and that was worth the money and time! It was amazing! ❤
Since we had a wonder pass they just ushered us in without explaining anything. There is a coat area but I think you have to ask for it. It is very warm once you go in with the butterflies. It's nice to just find a place to sit and watch as the butterflies dance around you. Be ready because they will most likely land on you. Butterflies like bright colours, so if you want them to land on you try to dress for it. We lucked out and didn't have to wait but it can get busy and there was a line as we were leaving. Might be good if you get there early. You can walk around as many times as you like but once you leave to the gift shop it is done. Take lots of pictures and just take it all in. This attraction is one of my favorites when going to Niagara falls.
The garden is free to walk around. The Butterfly conservatory is 10-15minutes quick walk. It was our second time and it seems like less butterflies; no wow effect anymore. Definitely, not worth the money ($20 per person). Video room is closed due to covid; it was hard to stay long inside wearing the mask.
Get the Niagara Falls wonder pass for $25 (multiple attractions) instead of one ticket here for $20. Came right after bird kingdom so was a bit disappointed that it was so small for such a big building. You can easily walk the whole thing in 5 minutes so we tried to drag it out but still was only able to stay for 30min. The butterflies were pretty but not really worth the money or the parking ($3 per hour). **go in the summer so you can walk the park, we went near Christmas so there was nothing to do
Loved it! Exotic butterflies and cool moths flying, eating, and living harmoniously all around a botanical garden. Saw a bunch of really beautiful ones. An employee showed me their life cycle and put one on my finger! Great experience for all ages.
I think its a nice place to look at amazing butterflies but it felt rather small and short time for the amount of ticket. I think its a great place to visit with kids, many types of colorful butterflies.
A wonderful experience, there's so many burterflies, I had the chance to get a "newborn" one on my hand, my boyfriend was wearing a pink t-shirt and butterfly were always on him! I guess he looked like a flower????♀️???? We'll definitely go back!
