Interesting place for one of my stretching stops while driving around this East Coast island. Nice, bright, clean, modern facilities. Pleasant staff. Seem totally deserted, as it is in the middle of nowhere, but worth a visit if you are on this driving route.

I have visited this place a few times since it was first built and it is beautiful. The amount of time and effort that was put into it was impressive. This is definitely a labour of love and something that every NLer should see. Every student should visit the place and the school board should have day trips.

Thomas Hyde

Great place very well put together, good parking and easy access. Activities for the whole family.

The Legacy Centre tour begins with a brief introduction from a local tour guide and follows with a self guided tour. There are a number of interactive displays that allow you to listen to traditional Newfoundland stories or historical accounts from the area. Other items of interest include the 2nd largest Union Jack flag (in Canada?), a rooftop fairy garden and lookout, and bookshop. There is also an option to take in a tour of the local archeological dig site that is off-site. There is an extra charge of $6.00 per person for this service.

Eldon Foster

Small museum but well laid out and very informative.

Deborah Rehner

I visited the Centre in 2010 and again today (July 26, 2015). If anything, the Legacy Centre is more interesting now than it was 5 years ago. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, the exhibits are enlightening. I highly recommend it for part of your entertainment while you are in Cupid's. Together with the offerings at Perchance Theatre, it's worth the drive from St. John's and worth including in your plans if you are visiting the island.

This is a beautiful museum. Its artifacts are presented so well. The building is very modern and clean and presents a spectacular view from its observation deck. Also it seems to be very accessible. We didn't get to try the cafe but it seemed like a cute little spot. Definitely worth the visit and make sure you also combine your ticket with a visit to the archaeological dig at the Plantation down the street.
