Great little museum with many interesting displays. Loved the painted circular stairwell depicting various depths of the ocean and the local gatherers of fruits of the ocean by the shore. Wonderful photographs, films, artifacts of fishing in bygone days and local economies. Well worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our visit to this meusem, it's easy to see how proud Grand Mananers are of their history with all the great materials in this facility. There is lots to see so set aside a good chunk of time if you really want to take it all in. I plan to revisit again.

It was a "rainy day" activity, the day we went to the Grand Manan Museum. I wish a rainy day to everyone that visits Grand Manan now, if that's what it takes! Well worth the visit, rain or shine!

A must go. Surprisingly comprehensive, especially geology and wildlife: the bird supply was amazing. Wanted to spend more time than we had, we didn’t get a chance to see outside and the school behind.

Lots of things to look at. Lots of history.. Kids had fun with the scavenger hunt. My daughter went through the place at least 3 times trying to find everything. They even have an old school house out back that was pretty cool to visit.

A small local museum that has a few great displays that really show the history of the island. They definitely make good use of the space and pack in great items to tell their story. The schoolhouse out back was closed and there was a room for presentations that seemed to be not in use as much as in the past due to COVID-19. Overall a nice stop on the island to learn a little about their past ????????

We thought it was the best museum we have ever been in.. We rate it a 10+ It was the biggest and wonderful history lesson we ever had. It kept our attention from start to finish. We took some pictures. Unbelievable how the people lived and were such Community, caring people.. Will recommend a must see. Bless you and thanks for the beautiful 2 hours, definitely good use of our time.

Really impressive museum. Very professional, informative, and lots of exhibits. Lovely and friendly older lady who greeted us and had some laughs. We were there for almost 2 hours. Great way to spend some time on a gloomy morning.
