REVIEWS OF Hockey Hall of Fame IN Mississauga

This place is awesome for any hockey fan! They have a wonderfully balance of really old, historical content and more new age, digital content. They have cool interactive shooting and goal tending exhibits and even let you download videos of the events. They have an inner hall with all of the trophies (the cup, selke, ross, etc.) and memorabilia from late 1800s and early 1900s. My wife went so my boys and I could enjoy the experience and she ended up having a blast! If you like hockey and want fun steeped in history and tradition then this is worth a look.

Danny Fowler

You could easily spend hours here reading up all the history and viewing all the memorabilia. Some of its kinda weird.... I wouldn't be surprised if there's a dirty jock strap somewhere on display that I missed. But there's a good interaction part, lots of jerseys and information to take in and the great Hall with of course the Stanley cup. So much history about one sport all in one place. Perfect for families or even if your just trying to kill some time as it's located across from union station.

Donny

The complete tour is paid, but the external area is free to the public. This museum shares Canada's ice hockey history - iconic figures of the Canadian hockey, some of its highlight moments, and exposition of each Canadian hockey club uniform. It's worth it to stop by and check it out, even if you're not a hockey fan.

Lareign C (AC)

They have the best installations and atmosphere. Most especially around Christmas time.????

Are you Canadian? Do you love hockey? Well i am not Canadian and I don't particularly love hockey but this is definitely a must to see place in Toronto. It tells you a lots about history of hockey, there are some NHL games that you can play, the staff are wonderful and the store is great. Recommend to book online if you are going to purchase something from the gift shop

Sangam Patel

If you love hockey, you need to come visit here. The entry is cheap and you can spend hours in here with all the history and information they provide. They have a cool setup where you can experience sitting in the old school locker room of the Montreal Canadiens. They have a vast amount of displays for international hockey as well. Don't forget to get your picture with Lord Stanley and all other trophies given out.

Vlado Skoric

As amazing as it seems. A must go for hockey fans. You even get to take a picture with the Stanley Cup. Loads of fun to explore, the amount of memorabilia here will blow your mind. Thousands of jerseys, pucks, and other game used equipment over the past 100-years, and from all around the world.

Jaime Trader

If you’re a hockey lover, like my son is, this place is a must! You could easily spend a half day in this museum. My son loved the shoot out simulators and having his picture next to the Stanley Cup. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Tanya Schefter

It was our first time there and my guys had a blast!! They loved learning about their favorite hockey players and the great interactive games!! Great way to start off our March Break

Revati K

Amazing place. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Absolutely loved it. If you are a hockey fan ???????????? GO!

Vincent DeGennaro

Great little museum. Its exhibits are interesting and informative, even for non hockey fans. I'm not a big fan of the game, but it was still pretty entertaining to walk through all of the history of hockey.

Chris Manson

Really enjoyed wandering around, I'm still relatively new to Hockey so it was really great to read up on the history of the league, the teams of years gone by, and the players who pioneered the sport. Quieter than I expected it to be, but that's no bad thing. Not much in the way of interactive exhibits, so may be less well suited for kids. Sports nerds, though, go for it!

Scott Kerrison

Originally coming from Australia, ice hockey was not something that formed any part of my growing up - hockey is something that is played outdoors on real or artificial grass, not indoors on ice. But seeing this hall of fame whilst on holiday in Toronto, I decided I should check it out. While my lack of hockey background meant that some of the exhibits here washed over me, this is undoubtedly an amazing collection of hockey memorabilia and information that any hockey fans would appreciate. While I didn't try them, the interactive displays add a further reason to visit, especially for those with children.

Andrew Ayers

Let's go Caps! Really good time at the HHoF. Parking underground is a tad steep.

raidlnferno

Came here a long time ago but forgot to review. Amazing place to visit especially if you are a die hard hockey fan

Alexander Martinez

I can't recommend this enough, what an experience. There is so much to see and do, it was something any sports fan needs to check out. There are so many artifacts from hockey history there that are awe inspiring. I hope I can see it again, anyone who visits Toronto needs to make this a priority for their trip.

J. Allen Hammer

It's the hall of fame for the best game you can name: the good old hockey game. Great exhibits and of course the Stanley Cup!

KG82

Been 15 years since I've been there. Still a great place to check up on!

Ben Harden

Very cool experience. Loved seeing some of the best of the legends of the game and their stories and loved how up close and personal you could get with some of hockey's greatest hardware/achievements.

Slava Pocheptsov

Building name said it! Comprehensive story about hockey legacy, our pride and fame.

Vladimir Shnayderman

It is worth the visit. Its Canada and its hockey i mean that is a national past time, so do visit. I was a little underwhelmed by it, i was expecting a lot, a lot more from it.

Brandon Copp

Need more then a full day to read over all the great facts about everything in the hockey hall of fame

H. Ng

I've loved the game of hockey since the mid-70's and continue to follow hockey to this day. After coming into this institution, I was totally blown away by how much history hockey has. The H.H.F is filled with important, historical people who shaped and revolutionized what the game is today. I was amazed by the countless memorabilia and historical displays that was there, like original equipment worn by Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bower to name a few). There's so much to see and do (there's an arcade) for the young and the "young at heart". Time went by so quick, as I was there for a couple of hours. Apparently, you can purchase your ticket with a discount, but I thought the ticket price at the door was inexpensive and well worth it if you're a hockey fan. If you're just visiting Toronto, you can either take transit or get dropped off as parking can be an inconvenience.

J.A.R. Beltrán

Just amazing memorabilia of all the hockey you will want to see.

C S

Did anyone expect me not to come here during my trip to Canada? Hockey is the most Canadian thing here that you can’t eat! It was a lot of fun and pretty interesting to walk around here for a while. They had plenty to see! They had information on all of the NHL teams, and notable players from some of them. The coolest part for me was seeing the original Stanley Cup! That was really cool! It’s in the vault along with other trophy’s and examples of winning team rings. The inducted hall was pretty cool to check out too. I was able to find Rick Generette’s plaque pretty easily. They also had a section on the Olympics, that was cool to see. After checking out the museum, check out the gift shop. Go figure the end of the tour would dump of there! Their’s also a little food court to check out after.

Andrew Baxter

If you’re a hockey fan and debating whether or not you should visit, you’re not a hockey fan. This is the NHL’s high church and the admission price was reasonable. If you go on a weekday afternoon, you can pretty much glide right through. Displays are informative and you can get up close and take a picture with the Stanley Cup, and hear the history behind it. Being in an old bank building, it combines nostalgia with modern, and it is tastefully done. A must see if you’re an NHL fan or a historian. A nice walk indoors if not.

Kyle Gronning

I expected this place to be bigger as it is a hall of fame when actually it's a basement of stuff. They have some really cool stuff in here but more interactive displays would help immensely. They said the tour takes about an hour and a half but we were about 45 mins.

Chris Hesselden

Great place to get lost for hours looking at all things hockey. The only way to make the locker room feel like the real thing is to have to smell like one (which it does not.) The interactive displays are interesting, especially the TSN desk.

Charles C

If you're a hockey fan, this visit is a no-brainer. This place features memorabilia from not just the NHL, but other hockey leagues. There are some interactive exhibits, such as pretending to o be a sportscaster. Plenty of souvenirs too, no matter which team you cheer for.

Anita Windisman

Pleasantly surprised by this museum that pays homage to a great Canadian sport. This building is fondly called "The Cathedral of Hockey". Wonderful displays and information. Has hands-on interactive activities too - for adults and kids alike. But the interactive goalie exhibit is temporarily closed during the pandemic. Best of all was getting up close to the Stanley Cup.

Michael Smith

Great displays and artifacts for the hockey nut. Staff doesn't serve much of a purpose. Teenagers were occupying the interactive games and activities and staff were not moving them along. Very busy and overcrowded on the day we were there. Gift shop was closed due to a flood, so that was disappointing for our one time visit.

Whitne Harris

If you are a true hockey fan this is the place for you. Easy to get around and fun activities.

Tom Pynn

My first time at the cathedral of hockey. Excellent exhibit of Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzsky. A little overwhelming with so much packed into a small space, but well worth the price of admission. Even though I have not been a fan for years, it was still emotional.

Jack Weixel

Absolutely fantastic! So many visits to Toronto but never got a chance to see the HoF, I wasn't going to miss this time. If you're a hockey fan this is a must see!

Joey White

My boyfriend and I had some time to kill, and we had never been to the Hockey Hall of Fame so figured we’d try it out. Since we just walked in, we didn’t have coupons or anything, and we hesitated because it was $20 each and we weren’t sure how much we’d like it. We paid anyhow and were actually quite surprised at how much we did like it. There was so much history about hockey (and since we are Maple Leaf Fans, it was interesting) and also lots of interactive things to do and it was definitely neat seeing the Stanley Cup. I likely wouldn’t come back anytime soon since we’ve seen it all now, but it was a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Alan C

Interesting. See The Stanley Cup!

salman ali

Not sure how it is to visit for actual hockey fans, but I was there for a work party and it was great for that. Lots of places to wander through and find people, interesting memorabilia as surroundings, decent food, some hockey related activities to try with friends, and a stage for karaoke that started slow but got a lot more active as the night wound down and people got more tired/tipsy.

Jessica Sangelais

Enjoyed browsing the hockey hall of fame and the price was great and affordable. The area where you can be goalie or shoot at the net was a little chaotic and wished the ps4s upstairs had 2 controllers to play CHEL.

Trampes Crow

Simply magical. Go BLUES!!!

Brad Clarke

Was in town for a quick visit and stopped in for a few hours. Lots of history here. I recognized a lot of names from the game from my youth, not so much from the modern era of the game.

Matthew Penta

A must see in your lifetime if your a hockey fan. Chock full of memorabilia, jerseys, awards, famous sticks, goalie masks, and everything in between. Great for kids too as there is an interactive section where you can shoot or play goalie. As a Bruins fan I loved seeing all the Bobby Orr and other Boston legends sections. If you're in Toronto or Ontario, make the excursion. Tickets are $20 and the gift shop is sure to have something to rep your team.

Tung Nguyen

Very surprised about this big place. In this country, hockey is the best.

Vanessa Megan

We absolutely loved this place one of us on a 1st visit the camera was out pretty fast and we both loved getting to see the Stanley Cup. We both took a ton of pictures. It was getting a little too busy but it was luckily when we were leaving and some of it closed off due to an event but There was still so much to see and do... So much history it is really an amazing place. The staff were also fantastic and very helpful to making sure I got around alright in my chair and did not need anything. The 3D movie was absolutely amazing. I wish it was longer!

Aksinya Kostyrkina

This is a wonderful place for those who love hockey. The interactive games make you feel just like a hockey player. The memorabilia of the players old and new is pretty cool. Those who appreciate history will love to learn about hockey through the players and their experiences. They get to watch videos about how it all started. Seeing the Stanley Cup is the highlight of the place. So be sure to take a picture and enjoy yourself. I sure did.

Speedy Gonçalves

Must see for all hockey Fans and highly recommend watching the documentary provided onsite to learn the full history of hockey and its greatest players

Hassan Barzani

The Hockey Hall of Fame in the heart of Downtown Toronto is a must during your time in Canada for sure. Lots of incredible history inside and outside of the facility. Great staff members. In addition, loving the diversed staff members at the Hockey Hall of Fame as well. This is must visit for sports fans across the globe too. Can’t wait to come back for another visit soon!!!!

Elizabeth Ford

Today we visited the Hockey Hall of Fame. It was very impressive even for a non hockey fan like myself. There are opportunities to be engaged in activities for people of all ages. The information is also endless. Don't forget to have your picture taken with the Stanley Cup! The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because of the accessibility. First of all, you have to go to the "concourse" to get in. But, the gift shop is on the first floor. You can't enter through the gift shop, only exit. So don't make the mistake of going to the gift shop before you are finished the exhibits. If you do you have to walk all the way back through the building, down to the concourse and then back through the hall again to the entrance. Total pain in the ass. Recommendation to the HHOF - make the gift shop the entrance and the exit to improve accessibility.

Maurice Kwok

A historical museum and hall of fame in Toronto to preserve the precious history of ice hockey!! Do you agree?

Matthew Green

Not quite what I expected in terms of size or location, but the Hockey Hall of Fame was great and there's a lot to see and do. One of the highlights was being able to get a photo of and/or with the Stanley Cup.

Ronald Murphy

Had a amazing time here. Staff was great, the displays were clean, there was no bias per one team just because of location. We've discussed coming here for 15 years and finally my best friend and I got to take the trip. Thank you for delivering a unbelievable experience!

Alexei Gherman

A great place for anyone to check out the culture of hockey. The interactive games are fun for kids and family. The second floor closes 30min earlier then the rest of the museum so make sure to go there first.

Aurani Moore

Went here on a work outing. Personally I don't care about hockey, but if I were a fan I'm sure it'd be a great place. The trophy room skylight was beautiful.

Daniel Bateman

Had a great time walking through the hall of fame. Check out the interactive sand the 3D film. It is a great opportunity for all in the area.

Tata Kadus

We were impressed! Great museum, a lot of activities for all ages. We spent there 2 hours and it was worth it! I’ll recommend this museum to my friends.

Derrick Gillard

This was a dream come true for me! I love Hockey. Hockey saved my life and gave me direction in my life and a youngster! Thanks to Robert Davis Sr. who took me ice skating with his son my and friend Matt. It means more to me than anyone could imagine. Hockey the sport of the Gods. Please visit, support and bring anyone you can to see the archive of the legendary heros of the ice rink!

Elias T

Definitely a essential experience even if you're not a hockey fan! Great collection of memorabilia and you can get a picture with the Stanley Cup! There's also a couple of activities to take part in that don't cost extra. There's a hockey shot out game where you can shoot pucks ata virtual projected goalie or play as a goaltender and defend the net from pucks flying at you! Pretty solid time for sure.

Alex Lee

The true Vatican-type museum of Canadian hockey history.

Andrew Berezin

The hockey hall of fame was a great experience. If you are in Toronto and a hockey fan or just a sports fan, Go. It's is very interactive. Not expensive at all and you can get a picture with the stanley cup.

Sydney Eatz

A great experience for any hockey fan. We got there early in the morning and spent a good hour walking through the Hockey Hall of Fame - wish we had more time, but we will go back. The Hockey Hall of Fame is located in the Financial District neighbour hood of and is very close to the Sony Centre, and the Design Exchange. - Richard Trus Review

Stephanie VanDyke

I brought my hockey loving dad here for a visit. At first I thought the ticket price was a little steep, until I saw HOW MUCH is inside. Give yourself some time there is plenty to see! Plus, get your picture with THE Stanley Cup (and see the original one!). Layout can be a LITTLE confusing though. Not that we got lost we just couldnt figure out if there was a certain way we should have gone first.

Jason Yeh

Loved it very interesting and awesome if you are a hockey fan!

Mike “AngryRedRaptor”

Such a cool place for hockey fans to go. Lots of awesome memorabilia from days gone. The staff were super friendly. I personally loved the theatres showing short films about the game. This is a must see for all hockey fans.

karl boekamp

Amazing place for every hockey fan

Denis Bisson

If you like hockey, it's a great place to visit. Maybe there are many many things to read, but still, it is great. It's an occasion to see close the famous Stanley Cup and all the trophees like the Conny Smith, Lady Bing, Vezina, Maurice Richard, etc.

Bruce Blanchard

A place all hockey fans should visit at least once in your life. Beautifully laid out, and so much history and information. Interactive stations as well. And then there was *THE* cup. That alone is worth the visit!

Maurice Powell

Going here was an incredible experience for me.. not only was being in Toronto a nice experience, but going to the hall of fame was great too. I couldn't believe the level of detail of the memorabilia there, along with seeing uniforms and helmets and trophies, and even video of some of the older hockey games I used to watch growing up. If you are a hockey fan and you've never been to the hockey hall of fame, spending the time and money to go is well worth it

Parker Remy-Miller

Fun time, not quote what I was expecting. Not nearly as much history as there could be, but nice to check off the bucket list as a huge sports fan

Dave Doiron

I am 36 years old and have been waiting my whole life to come visit this place and last Friday i finally did and it was so AMAZING!!!! The staff are so nice and all the artifacts in their was INSANE!!!! SO much to do for kids there and we got to see David Ayres put the stick he used to beat the Maple Leafs into the Hall of Fame. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you come check it out!! Oh and there is a Gretzky/Howe exhibit going on now and you wont want to miss it!!!

Mark Putney

All kinds of history here .if you like hockey ,its all here

Tim Chase Photography

Amazing building to see as you walk by.

Sean Walters

Really great place to see hockey memorabilia ????. I will warn you now though. They do not have anything in the Sean Walters exhibit. Well actually they wouldn't take my stuff to be honest said I need more points like the great one to get an exhibit. So I warn you there is no Sean Walters exhibit.

YL

Must see for NHL fans. The interactive activities are okay, the videos shown give goose bumps, while the trophy room was amazing. The 3D movie wasn't groundbreaking, but good to kill time. Always fun to look at all the historical memorabilia, but after a while, it's just a lot of jerseys over and over again.

Mary “Xleena” Gentile

Great place to experience hockey at all professional levels across multiple "platforms"!

Kelly Irvin

Be prepared for the price on the authentic jerseys if that's on your purchase list.

Pittsburgh event Group

A must stop for a sports fan, The 9 & 99 display is amazing. The amount of penguins items are a great display as well!

Samantha Jones

We are big hockey fans and spent three hours in here! It was a lot bigger than we expected. It was so interesting and the staff were really friendly and helpful - absolutely full of information and memorabilia about all things hockey. My only disappointment was that I didn’t see one mention of Ron Hextall haha

Th Sc

An amazing Place full of History adults and kids alike will enjoy this place

Jeremy Wilkie

Was a really cool experience to see hockey history and all of the trophies to go along with it. There was so much to see and do I wish I would have had more time. Definitely allow at least 2-3 hours so you can experience everything!

Gene Gore

A place every hockey enthusiast should visit. Go early to avoid the crowds in the Stanley cup vault. Lots to see and the interactive game section is fun for kids of all ages.

Babs Murphy

Great place for every Hockey enthusiast. Much to see, nice staff, good gift shop and you can even try out your Hockey skills, shooting or in goals.

Warren Gibson

Great place for kids of all ages. I recommend going as often as you can afford to

Buzz*

Very fun and interesting place where you can do/see a lot of hockey relatable things.

Attila Morovián

This is a must to visit! Great place with huge history of NHL

Allie Dean

Must see for any hockey fan - spent about 90 minutes but that was up until closing. There was more to see so I'd give yourself at least 2 hours. Photo opportunity with the cup. Most things were open (post Covid) including a VR game that let's you do a shootout as shooter or goalie, comes with a free copy of the video!

Joseph Bitton

Great place for those who like hockey. 3D theatre was very cool. Make sure to bring coins with you because the vending machines are coins only. It can get extremely hot there. Huge lineups on the interactive games. The Cam clips can sometimes have email broken links.

Raeanne

We were visiting while the Gretzky Howe exhibit was on display and WOW. There is no way you'd be able to get through all the memorabilia in one day. Everything was beautifully displayed and the staff was wonderfully helpful. The Gretzky Howe exhibit was worth the admission price alone. The exhibit told a story of their relationship and had an interesting video to go along with the fantastic displays. It was fun to watch the kids play the interactive games (while you dont need to be a kid to play!) The hall of trophies and awards, notably the Stanley Cup was definitely near the top of our favorite experiences while in Toronto. We would gladly come back as there was plenty we still didnt see or do while at the Hall of Fame.

Bill Harker

Very nice place to visit especially if you are an extreme hockey fan. They have a lot of interactive stuff for the kids like shooting on a net and even a small rink. There is also a lot on each team and all the people who were accepted into the Hockey Hall of Fame

Kevin Easton

Lots of great hockey history here from all around the world, not just the NHL. The Grand Hall trophy room is amazing.

Joe Dukes

I gave 5 stars because the Hockey Hall of Fame could charge a lot more for admission but they don't. Haven't been in here for 20+ years and was pleasantly surprised with how nice and we'll maintained it is. Classy and clean all throughout. Signage could be easier to spot and read but at the same time the layout helps to never feel overly crowded. The grand hall is beautiful. It's too bad some of the trophies are quite hidden and hard to find. The staff in the interactive section did an outstanding job keeping the line moving and helping the kids. This is a must do if your into hockey and haven't been.

Rebecca Rivera

If you're a hockey fan, this is a no brainer. Nice exhibits including the grand daddy of them all, a chance to see and touch the Stanley Cup. There were also a few interactive exhibits that were fun such as a 3-D movie and a chance to virtually play goalie and be a goal scorer against top NHL players. Nice gift shop too, although the prices seemed a bit high in the shop. Worth a visit of about 3 to 4 hours.

Epics of Enuma Elish

I had the misfortune of attending this place recently Its dismal with nothing intelligent. A place of idolatrous worship where the little pagans go to idolize their little gods What a waste of space

D (JohnSherlockHolmes)

It's the hockey Hall of Fame. What's not to love? Go see the Stanley cup and a lot of wonderful exhibits and pieces of hockey history. Very interactive and a great gift shop.

Christin Milloy

Never liked hockey, but my 12 year old little sister lives for it. And I love her, so by the transitive property, I now like hockey. Took her to the museum and she was mesmerized. Got photographed with the Stanley Cup, looked up historical clips of Team Canada's Women's Olympic victories and highlight moments on the interactive exhibit. A day we will both remember for a long time.

Brandon Charbonneau

Great place to learn hockey history. Lots to see. You could easily spend 2hrs here.

Gėörgė K

A great place for all hockey enthusiasts to learn some hockey history, get inspired and buy their favourite memorabilia.

Devin Baines

Totally worth the price of admission. The amount of content is a bit overwhelming, but should be seen by every hockey fan if you're in Toronto. Plenty of international, junior and womens' content. Currently, the main exhibit is 9-99, an in-depth look at Mr. Hockey and The Great One.

Mike Klubok

There is something here for all ages whether your male or female. The interactive goalie exhibit is a Wow for children and adults as is the replica of the Montreal Canadiens dressing room. It is more than a shrine to the greats of hockey. The 3D movie about the sport, etc make this a must visit place if you're in the Toronto area. Last but not least, you get to see and hold The Stanley Cup.

Bill Reckley

Take your time, eave at least 3 hours to see and do everything, any less you will be extremely rushed and feel that you missed something. So much amazing hockey history on ALL levels. Great trip and really good value

Coach Shiley

This was the highlight of an amazing trip to Toronto. I could've spent 2 days at the hall of fame. Tons of cool exhibits with many that were interactive. Loads of information and history. Every though there were lots of people there, it didn't feel crowded, and you could move freely. If you're a hockey fan this is a must see! It's located in the heart of downtown, near many other great attractions.

Kristina Schauber

If you love hockey and learning about the history of hockey this is the place to go. I love it there. M

kramille

A terrific venue packed with hockey history. An all encompassing hockey review, a must stop for any hockey fan. The Stanley Cup vault, Wall of Honor, the Canadiens Dressing room plus interactive hockey games - this HOF has it all.

Kent Santin

Fun museum with an incredible amount of history. Don't miss the interactive games that let you shoot pucks, be a goaltender, and become a commentator. Definitely a fun place to bring kids or family that are visiting town. Entry was $25/pp.

Michael Sargent

Great museum. You must see this place if you are at all interested in hockey. A very well done and a very well maintained museum. It is a must see and do if you are in Toronto, Canada. You truly get a feel for Canada here. The history of hockey it is truly fascinating. A must see and do.

Robert Parsons

Huge place and well worth the $20 admittance fee. All major trophies are held in a cathedral stained glass room. Got to take a picture with the Stanley cup

Leah De Spiegelaere

A must see for locals and tourists alike. The interactive games and exhibits are a nice addition from my last visit over a decade ago. Whether or not your a hockey fan, it's neat to see this little corner of history and tradition on display.

Peter Molnar

A magnificent place to visit for any hockey fan. Very impressive. One little coment; a little info about each and every NHL team would be nice.....

Vipin

Must visit for any hockey fan. give yourself a few hours to take into all the memorabilia and sights at the hockey hall of fame. it gets busy on the weekends, like any tourist attraction, so come visit during off-peak hours like weekdays. The hockey hall of fame is a short walk from Union station.

Kelly Wu

Great place! Definitely worth it if you’re a hockey fan! There is a lot to see hockey history wise. Lots of cool things in there too, not just the Stanley Cup ;) they have cool activities for the kids. There’s a shoot out, and also a shut out/goalie activity. You can play NHL18 on the PlayStations. And there is a lot of trivia! Not the biggest hockey fan and still had a blast!

Jonathan Lefebvre

I am not a huge fan of hockey, but I have to admit that this museum is very interesting. I read many things and learned a lot. Everything is visually appealing and colourful. There is a very cool section for kids where they can play interactive games and see what a TV studio looks like. There is a section upstairs where the cup is, but the path to getting there isn't very intuitive. In fact, there is no path in the museum. I also found it way too much that you must go through the super expensive boutique to leave the museum.

Britt M Anderson

Liked the replica of the Canadiens changing room. Unimpressed with so little of the space dedicated to Women and POC in the league/hockey.

Han Yi

Just absolutely wonderful experience. My wife and boys enjoyed it as much as I did. Definitely recommend if you are planning on visiting Toronto.

Dustin K

Can't miss for any hockey fan. $20 entry fee well get you about two hours worth of exhibits and activities. Family friendly and clean.

Jon Leleu

If there is a place where reverence meets fun, this is it. Remarkable artifacts from the history of our game, and a knowledgeable staff to answer most questions. The kids experiences are very good and keep them from feeling like they're in a museum. Tremendous detail - a can't miss in Toronto.

D C

Loved the displays of the old jerseys and equipment. Glad to see so much women's hockey memorabilia. Wish the glass around the trophies in the Great Hall wasn't so reflective. Difficult to take photos.

M Z

This place is the Canadian Vatican. The holy place of hockey. You can't be a true fan of hockey until you have been here and payed your respects to all the greats who have played the ultimate game. Plus it's just a cool place to visit.

LAWRENCE HANSEN (hansenontheroad)

Great venue with lots to see and do around everything hockey.

Chris Ojeda

Immaculate, pristine and so much history to digest. Beautiful on all fronts and the trophy room upstairs: WOW!!!! The fact that you get to touch the Stanley Cup and take pics with it for free? Well worth the price of admission!! Was one of the best places I visited while in Toronto.

Kyle Zollinger

Lots of great material, but poorly optimized within the space. Also, slightly difficult to find.

stephen Guzman-McGrath

If you are a fan of hockey or even mildly interested in it, then it's a must see. Not very expensive. Plus you get a hand stamp and may come and go as you please to go grab a bite at the food court.

Bernard J. Giarraputo

I was in Toronto and I didn't know if the Hall of Fame was in Toronto I am a big hockey fan so I had to go and amazing presentation of hockey's history being in a bank and having tea Stanley Cup in the center was a great way to display it. There is several Interactive exhibits in 3D theater to enjoy plan to spend the day if you're going to enjoy everything

Eric Tholomé

We know very little about hockey. We went there based on lots of positive reviews assuming it would help us understand history and rules of hockey. It didn't. We found exactly one little spot about history and nothing about the rules. This venue must be awesome for fans but it didn't work for us at all. OK we did have fun trying to score goals in the simulation game, but that is about it.

Shiv Shukla

Cathedral of hockey. So much history and memorabilia from the game. One problem is that it is a little hard to navigate but besides that, a crucial experience for the hardcore hockey fan. The interactive TSN centre is my favorite part. Loved doing a play by play to Sid's golden goal.

Blaine Conners

Went from 3 to 4 stars after the kids found the interactive section deep into the exhibits. Best of all admission is for the day. Come and go as you please in one business day.

Ed Apelo

Visiting it for the third time and never gets old. I'm like a kid in a candy store being in these hallowed grounds. I always visit every time I visit Toronto.

Donna Esser-Perry

The NHL Hockey Hall of Fame is a must for any NHL fan. It was filled with history, exciting moments, videos, Hall of Famers, and every team is represented. It showed cased jerseys from countries which have ice hockey. That was interesting. It presented a lot of Canadian hockey history. I wish it included the history of other countries as well. The trophies are displayed in a separate room and fascinating to see in person. It is located in downtown Toronto. There is no free parking, but plenty of parking garages for a fee. It is located in a mall which I found odd.

Inked ChinaDoll

Very well designed and informative.

Patrick McCoy

Very fun. Lots of hockey history for the NHL and other leagues and factions of hockey. I love that you can take a picture with the Stanley Cup for free or pay only $10 to get professional photos. Also, they stamp your hand and you can come and go all day if you go for lunch or anything.

Patrick McAuley Group

Amazing staff, helpful and nice. The Hall is AWESOME!!! Its a must see for any hockey fan. The great hall is the best. Inexpensive all things considered.

John Gamble

Outstanding place to visit if you're a hockey fan or just want to learn more about the sport and it's history. Great place to take kids to learn and there are games for them. Once you've paid you can go in and out with your hand stamped so you can go out for lunch then back in. Highly recommended.

Dominick DeVito

Such history exists here. Even if you're not a hockey fan, it's hard not to appreciate what's here. Come for the exhibits and interactive stations, stay for the Great Hall. Go Devils! ????

Aisha Noor

Loved it! Great place to visit. If you're a fan that also happens to be into history, take your time ... block off at least three hours to give yourself time to read everything and soak in all the memories (also includes time waiting in line at the virtual rinks). Only major downside was the horrible lack of attention to women in the game...spotted a few here and there, but people like Angela James and Haley Wickenheiser need to be prominently featured. Have plans to go again, hopefully when it's more deserted.

Jimmy Déry

I spent 4 hours there; trying out the different simulators and reading all the displays; which is full of deep knowledge about the game. Also it is possible to see great moments of the history of hockey so it feels really nostalgic. Will definetely go again in the future.

Erika MacDonald

I could have spent all day there.

Jeffrey Devers

Despite the majority of the collection being tucked away in the basement of a shopping mall in Downtown Toronto this is an absolute MUST on any trip to the Great White North! Unbelievable artifacts and interactive exhibits of all the biggest names in hockey make this experience come to life! The museum does a nice job of expanding the scope beyond just the NHL. The HHoF includes stories and artifacts from leagues, events and players all across the Globe while giving recognition to all walks of life. There is also a considerable nod to women’s hockey that will surly inspire girls and women to get involved in the sport. Hockey is for everyone and the museum does a nice job of mirroring that. Superb! Seeing THE CUP(s) in the on-site vault and under the mosaic stained glass dome are the cherry on top!! +++ Be mindful of the operating hours, which I found to be limited as they close early +++ Lastly, you will find tons of options from every team in the gift shop.

William Brewitt (Brew Productions)

Great place for the family to visit. Every hockey fan should go here. Very interactive exhibits.

InkNAron

Amazing place, got all different type of information that interesting to read, and cool stuff to look at. Worth the price, and has a great gift shop spent some dollars in there and very reasonable prices! Would recommend if your new to hockey or just a hockey lover!

Lucas Finley

One of the better Halls of Fame. They do have some goofy games for kids, and lots of historical artifact, like where else could you see WOODEN hockey sticks from ancient times (the 1990s), cooperalls (go ahead and google it noob), or Jason Voorhees-style goalie masks? The best part is the trophy room with the Stanley Cup. Its like standing in front of the holy grail.

Adie Lusted

Very cool place to visit if your a hockey fan, staff were very knowledgeable on the history of the trophies and players

Ramsey Wright

See the Stanley cup! Some good interactive activities and lots of history and memorabilia. Teachers get in free with ID. No coat check though for some reason, so arms were full with winter gear. Couldn’t find a water fountain for the life of me, only a couple vending machines with pop and bottles water.

McKenna Kerwan

I had a wonderful time here with a friend of mine when we were visiting Toronto in January. The displays were awesome, and the shooting/tender games are super fun (and definitely not anything that would be free here in the US). It's amazing that we were able to touch the actual Stanley Cup! Every employee we came across was friendly and helpful

Joel R

If you're in love with hockey this is a must. For those not so into the sport, it's still an amazing place to visit. The building where all the trophies are held is spectacular. Lots of great items with stories over the history of the game. The goalie mask section was one of our favorites.

David

A must see for every hockey fan. Such an awesome experience. Actually touching the Stanley Cup was a highlight of my life. Thanks NHL for making the cup and the other trophies accessible to every fan.

Cynthia Erickson

I'm a hockey fan from my days at UND, but this was overload for me! Lots of details and trivia. Displays are very organized. Enjoyed all the huge, glittery rings, and got to touch the Stanley cup! Well worth the visit.

Erick Bieger

The High Holy Place for hockey game. A must visit.

Lawrence Griffin

If you are a hockey fan then you will appreciate, love and enjoy The Hall of Fame. Out of all the Hall of fame's out there this one definitely is the best.

Master Pearson

Full of great NHL memories.

vinoth vino

Very good gallery of ice hockey

Eric Kleiner

One of my greatest and fondest memories was spending nearly an entire day soaking up as much history of the sport as I could. Well thought out exhibits honoring every team, getting to see every trophy presented each season, getting to read highlights of each HoF member enshrined, to the making of the Stanley Cup and its illustrious history. Hope to make it back some day.

Mark

I'm not a massive hockey fan but went with the wife as she's a real hockey nut and I enjoyed the two hours we spent there. Great place to find out history of the teams, hockey itself and take part in the interactive games. Recommended for any sports fans

Michael Lam

I spent 3 hours in this place and probably would t have left if it didn’t have to close at 5 pm. I got to see all the things I wanted to and I even got to play some of the games available. The fun zone area let’s you play goalie and also a shooter trying to score on a computerized goalie. All the displays are professionally prepared while the trophy room really was a special place. I felt overwhelmed by the history in that place. Thank you HHOF for an unforgettable experience. All kids and adults should come at least have a look at some of the history that hockey has and to share that story around the world.

Matt H

Awesome experience! A must for a hockey lover...or anyone really. Friendly staff...interactive options and well preserved items. Trophies were breathtaking. Grab a 2-4-1 coupon if you can.

Joel Oswald

Great if you're a hockey fan. We enjoyed the virtual sports exhibits, the call the game, and the playstation hockey. Only downside was the odor of urine near the sports center booth.

Jesse Tio

Spent 5 hours here! Surprisingly cheap ticket price. Lots and lots of stuff but I kind of wish they told more stories on their plaques instead of just being like this stick was used by so and so. Some of the plaques (especially in the IIHF section) were really cluttered too and could use a redesign. Wish they had a hall of every jersey and alternate jersey they could get their hands on too but maybe that's just because I love jerseys. The trophy room was really cool though and even though the real Stanley Cup wasn't there the replica is completely up to date and is the same material and everything and you can touch it which is a great feeling. I'm told you can touch the real one too when it's there. The respect for women's hockey is really cool too and they're no small part either. My one major complaint is that it closes so early. 5pm!?!? I got there at 12 and enjoyed it so much more than I thought but I had to be ushered out and didn't even get to go to the shop to look at jerseys :(

Diane P

Surprised my Dad withban old photo of him there. Wonderful place with great memories!

Da Hun

Great destination for hockey and sports fans!

ives ivusic

Loved it! It was nice, clean and not busy. The employees are approachable and knowledgeable. Had a lot of fun

Toni Sterling

Great museum, even for a casual fan. Would reccomend.

Unique Designs 1

Just wow! A great place to bring friends or family! The Hockey Hall of Fame leaves you speechless with everything they have inside. If your ever in Toronto make sure you stop by!

Trevor Prosser

A must for any hockey fan. There is something for everyone, from interactive exhibits to films to memorabilia and historical exhibits. It's a shrine to all that's great about the sport, and certainly worth a visit. It is one of those attractions that you can see all of in one visit, thankfully, but it's worth going back every few years to see what's new.

Ryan Hodge

As a person who isn't an absolute hockey nut, this was still a great place to spend a couple of hours. Tons of jerseys, sticks, and other assorted hockey gear from players over the years, each with a story to tell - reading every piece can be a snooze, but the other exhibits are an interesting change of pace. Avoid the "3D experience" film though, unless you enjoy laughably bad "acting"! The Stanley Cup also adds a nice finishing touch to the experience, making this a well-recommended place to visit in Toronto.

Cindy Rabb

My dream came true and I finally experienced here. Staff were great and impressed by the layout and exhibits ty.

Charles Heath

You definitely need more than a few hours to visit this labyrinth of passageways and offshoot rooms full of information and memorabilia of Canada's national sport ice hockey. I learned a lot in the short time we were there. But, for me, it was hard to find.

Jodi Klein

We saw the Stanley cup. Washington capitals first team on bottom band.

Uton S

Great for hockey lovers, and those wishing to learn about the sport. Activities for all age groups. Great hi-tech interactive displays for those who not so much into the history, prepare to spend at least 2 hours.

Annie Plummer

We had lots of fun as a family exploring hockey history, seeing the Stanley Cup and participating in the interactive features like shooting on a simulated goalie or calling a play in a broadcast studio. There was great exhibits to look at.

Angela Pacheco

A great mix of history and fun. While in town for hockey camp we drove down to the Hall of fame. The building itself is something to write home about. The structure had been well preserved and the use of the space makes walking through all of the jerseys and trophets that much more exciting. The staff was great, especially those helping the kids with the games. An added bonus is being able to email yourself videos of the interactive activities for free. A great place to walk through if you find yourself in Toronto.

Hunter Calhoun

A must for any hockey fan. Legendary players, jerseys and gear on exhibit. Learn about hockey all over the world and history of NHL. Interactive exhibits are greatly improved recently and great for kids

Rob Ewanuk

What a great place. It was wonderful to hang out here for an hour, I had to leave to catch my flight but could have stayed there all day. So many cool displays and facts about the great game of hockey. I really enjoyed myself and if you love hockey you will as well.

julie buckham

I have noooo idea about ice hockey but Darren used to support Durham wasps and as it's his birthday he wanted to come. I'm sure if you like this sport it's great but I just aimlessly wandered for an hour I'm afraid. It's pretty big with loads of info and interactive games. He liked it and had his photo taken with Stanley cup so he was happy...... Entrance is not on main street but down escalators to shopping centre so not exactly easy to find

Valerie Spidle Davis

Fantastic..... everything that every hockey enthusiast would want.

Corey Coakley

So very awesome....loved every minute of it.

Melissa Summitt

Amazing Hall of Fame. The basketball hall of fame could learn a lot from this highly interactive, informative and friendly HHOF. Amazing artificats, cool trivia and a chance to take your photo with the real Stanley Cup! No one rushed us and we spent several hours wandering around. The 1 star ding is for the shop. Limited number and types of hockey sweaters. So far, the baseball Hall of Fame had the best and most unique merchandise. All in all a great visit. Not too expensive either. Park down the block for better deals on parking.

Ben Biddle

Tons of great information and memorabilia (hear reading and looking), perfect for hockey enthusiasts but may be boring for disinterested little ones. I especially enjoyed the shooting and goalie simulators and appreciate that the videos were free. Of course seeing the Stanley Cup is a highlight as well as all the other trophies.

Irene M.

What I found really great about the Hockey Hall of Fame is how little emphasis there is with the NHL. This truly is a place that honors the sport of hockey at the national and international level. And, it's about all types of hockey; men's, women's, and ice sledge (for participants with disabilities). You can also view the Stanley Cup up close so that's pretty awesome!

Gene DeNardo

Amazing memorabilia! Staff was helpful and very nice. Lots of games, movies, 3-D movies. They let you touch the Stanley Cup. You can have the attendant take your pic with the cup or you can take your own with your phone, which most places do not allow, helmets (hats) off to the Hockey Hall of Fame!

Olof Brandt

Best place on earth for hockey nerds New stuff every time. Love it!

Susie Rodriguez

Not a hug hockey fan but had a blast. My boyfriend is and loved it. A lot of memorabilia and interactive activities. Displays, lighting, and artifacts were displayed artistically and comprehension. Definitely place to go.

weldion

The Place for hockey fans! The staff is great and everything is so nice.

John Kay

Halls and halls or hockey history, trophies, pictures, jerseys, masks and a few games. If you like walking down memory lane in terms of professional hockey (NHL) history this is a great place to help bring back memories. You can even take your picture with a Stanley Cup. They also do events there, which is kind of nice.

Denise Polizelli

Amazing. Even if you're not the biggest of the fans. If you are though, spare a good chunk of time to go through all hockey related floors of stuff to see and do. My tip is to get the hop on/hop off tour and her off in front of Sony arena. From there you can get back on the bus or walk to the market(which is closed on Sundays), to Distillery district and to the cathedral which has a great chorus singing during the mass, which is beautiful, even if you're not very religious.

Aariz Mawji YT

Lots of Hockey things you can broadcast and play hockey on a screen. You can see the Stanly cup too wich is the real one. It's a very nice place to go for hockey fans in Toronto downtown. This is the Stanly cup. Zoom in to see the whole cup.

Tyler Carlson

Fun place with lots of cool memorabilia and fun interactive games. The only issue is that a lot of the technology didn’t seem to be working when we were there so we missed out on some of the videos and other things

M P

So much fun... Great for kids an adults alike

Richie Nelson

Amazing. A must for hockey fans!

Daniel Bultema

Every hockey fan should visit at least once in their life. It was a great experience!

Crystal Sutcliffe

Had an awesome time here with my boyfriend. I'm not much into hockey but I learned a lot and really enjoyed my visit. Love the old building and historical things

Coral Widdowson

If you are a hockey fan you will not be disappointed!

Derek Stoppels

This place is by far my most favorite place to visit in Toronto. Better than visiting family!! The 9:99 exhibit for Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky was incredible and very well put together. The great Hall is a perfect place to display all of hockey's precious hardware. The HHOF is nostalgic and exciting at the same time with their history but also their interactive games for kids and adults alike!!!

Marc-André Goulet

If you love hockey, this place is amazing! I've been twice and enjoyed every minutes of it. My girlfriend, who is a casual fan, loved it too. There's a great mix a historical facts, impressive expositions and interactive activities (i.e., shot the puck, block shots, trivia, etc) The awards section is very impressive!

Sebastian Arnold

If you are a hockey fan, this HHOF is a must visit. It's conveniently place. There is lots to explore from over 100 years of ice hockey. The Great Hall will exhibit the Stanley Cup where you can take your picture with it. It also has activities for young and old.

Sebastian Kluth

The Hockey Hall of Fame is a place that any National Hockey League fan needs to visit once in a lifetime. The informative museum section is very entertaining as there are a lot of things to watch, see and play for children and adults alike. It takes about an hour to visit everything. There is also an incredibly big merchandise section where you can get collectibles and memorabilia from all thirty-one teams in the NHL. Whenever I visit Toronto, I go there and buy or discover something new.

Jason Cadell

I felt so blessed to be able to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame, 30 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5E 1X8, Canada which I consider the shrine of all thing’s hockey for the world! The physical building was so overly impressive just approaching it on foot with my group. You see the corner of the building facing out in such a strong manner in my opinion. In each of the large windows to the left and right of the corner there are cutouts of some amazing hockey greats, so you’ll know when you’ve arrived. To enter you go inside from the side by the Spirit of Hockey store which is the official store for the Hockey Hall of Fame, 30 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5E 1X8, Canada. Once inside I’d say stop and take in the special Tim Hortons Brookfield Place, 181 Bay St, Toronto, ON M5J 2T3, Canada which has its own hockey artifacts before you go inside the Hockey Hall of Fame as you’ll need fuel to be able to cover all the ground inside. There are so many exciting displays both interactive and static for you to take in and enjoy. You can be a goalie, or you can be a player taking shots on a goalie in some of the interactive events that you’ll be able to get the video from so that you can use it to post if you’d like on social media. If you love hockey you’re going to LOVE, the HOCKEY HALL OF FAME!!! I can only say that if you’re in Toronto that at the absolute top of your list of things to see and do is to stop in at the Hockey Hall of Fame, 30 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5E 1X8, Canada! I know the next time I’m in Toronto it’s on my list of places to visit again.

Jeremy

The replicate locker room of the forum was my favourite part. It’s amazing how much detail there is and you can touch all the equipment. The Stanley cup was awesome , the person guarding it told me the players touch that one and you can touch it too!

Rick Smith

Price is right on par with what I'd expect from an attraction like this. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of interactive activities to do. The great hall is beautiful. The displays are beautiful and well setup.

Pops Jones

We had a phenomenal time at the Hockey Hall of Fame. The displays were top-notch, the interactive games were a lot of fun, and the history felt alive there. If you are a hockey fan, this must go on your bucket list!

BoBo Longway

Great place for any hockey fan. Been multiple times in my life and still enjoy it. Definitely worth it to go if you have never been. Alot of hockey history and memorabilia in this building.

Marty Fraser

If you like hockey be sure to visit. Always changing up the showcase display. Entrance is at the lower level in the PATH or concourse. Affordable. No coat check so in the winter be prepared to lug your coat (and your children's coats) Cool interactive games that allow you to email the results to yourself.

Taz Devel

I was there 5 years ago but lots more amazing stuff to c will good back just to much to c in 1 day if u like the hockey game must go here

Oleg Palygin

Toronto must see... This is a heart of the city, this is a soul of the hockey...

Richard London

Oh, this is heaven! I spent several hours on my first and only visit this past New Years Eve. So cool, and I shared this experience with one of my sons. We had a BLAST!

Noel Kent

Amazing experience the memorabilia is endless! Fun activities for the kids. Pro tip the entry is off the downstairs food court and there's also in out privelages.

Christopher Hilbert

Great place to visit. It will take a few hours to go through all the exhibits. Make sure you take a shot on the goalie. History of the Cup is very interesting.

Trevor Bonner

When I went it was an amazing experience. Its amazing how the hockey culture as turned into this amazing place. Everybody should embrace this place and go as soon as possible.

Daniel Floyd

Great way to spend some time in downtown Toronto. They have an awesome inventory of hockey paraphernalia including NHL teams as well as international clubs. They have inactive games if you want to assess your goal tending skills. There are several very interesting videos that include interviews with players telling tales of how things used to be. Any hockey fan would enjoy time spent there.

Sammy Goodlass

I havent stopped watching the sport since visiting. A new lover from the UK thanks to the fantastic set up and amazing peices on show!

Chris Kivi

One of the best experiences in my life was visiting the hockey Hall of Fame and getting my picture taken next to the Stanley cup. wow and not just the Stanley cup but all the other major professional hockey trophies that exemplify the ultimate and hockey sportsmanship in the best in the world. There is so much to see here I am so thankful that the people that created this put so much love and heart into it. Even if you're not a hockey fan you'll appreciate all the gold you'll find inside.

Alana Burke

The ultimate hockey paradise. Anything and everything is here, top to bottom. Worth the price of admission 100%.

Rach Pat

It's really fun place. I went with my Nephew he really love this place and he enjoyed lot. Lot of collections and you can play games. Awesome place to go.

Sierra

This museum is very well done. There is a lot of interactive games, huge trophy section, and great customer service. Must go!

Carol Chang

I think this is a great place for hockey fans. Tickets required.

Geni Face

If you love hockey, this is the place to go. So much to see and do. Have been here numerous times and they change up the displays often.

Amanda Zega

Amazing experience for Hockey and sports fans. You will need at least half a day to get through it. The amount of items and history are amazing. There was a film on loop about Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky that was really well done, I even got choked up watching it and hearing their stories. In the back, there are some games that the kids love so make sure to pop back there to check it out. Quality items and all beautifully displayed. The Hall of Fame is near the CN tower so you can hit both in one day like we did (and then collapse! ) Little restuarant in the mall, sort of like a buffet, that was a little pricey but great food for a break. Definitely a must do!

Brian Vasquez

I am not a huge hockey fan but this museum was very interesting, though a bit smaller than I expected.

Ian Turner

Other than wishing this museum was double its size to be able to show even more items, this is always an enjoyable place to visit. Lots of neat stuff st the Howe-Gretzky exhibit.

Josie Simonini

Nice to see all the hockey memorabilia under one roof. My granddaughter enjoyed the interactive games.

Shane Allan

If you are a hockey fan in any way this is a must see. The collection is housed in a great location and very well laid out. The exhibits vary enough that it is exciting for all ages of hockey fan. Across the street from Union station basically so it is very accessible.

Steven English

As a lifelong hockey fan living in the southern United States, this was such an amazing opportunity to see. The Hall of Fame is inexpensive, and has everything you could want to see. From the Stanley Cup, to interactive games, and collections from the 1980 Miracle on Ice upset of the USSR. If you are even remotely interested in hockey, you need to check this place out! They also have a store that will have an abundance of hockey merchandise.

Fabian Heer

Nice exhibition, good for Families with kids as well!

OLA Travel and Leisure

A must visit for hockey fans young & old. Where do I begin, the HHOF is something you have to experience if you love the game of hockey. Being a 30+ year fan, this was an amazing experience for me. The endless exhibitions on display will …

Panda

Incredible experience. Felt like a blast from the past! Apart from the museum, there are interactive activities that are really fun!! Great experience for 20$. Strongly suggest you visit here at least once if you appreciate hockey.

Conner Grant

If you are a hockey fan this is a place you absolutely have to go to. There is so much history and artifacts here. You could spend hours just walking around and reading everything there is to learn about this great sport. There is a hall dedicated to trophies and you can get a picture with Lord Stanley. They have a great interactive area where you can try out some hockey games like shooting or being a goalie. There is a ton to do here and it is well worth the money to see everything. My favorite portion of the hall of fame was the goalie mask section. I would highly recommend stopping by here.

Julie B.Savard

I hate hockey and I don't know why i went there. I had a miserable time. But if it's your tea cup, go for it, it's full hochey-pocky-tiki thing all over the place.

Steve Smintich

Lots of interesting artifacts. Good for hockey fans. Nice place for different generations to share the love of the game.

Maureen Palmer-Lavoie

This was a great experience. My daughter was in a hockey tournament in the are, so we of course had to go here. It was great! It's in a beautiful building, and has lots of stuff to look at, some you can touch, some stuff you can do. overall, a great experience.

Fanny Riols

That was a nice place. Everything you need to know about hockey is there ????

Gene Parker

Not a real big hockey fan but the Hall of Fame in Toronto was well worth the visit.

Shannon (Unicornfairies)

The place was AMAZING!!!! The site says avg of 45min but we spent 4hrs there and EASILY could've spent more!!! So many FREE interactive things to do, so much to see, so much history. Unfortunately we had to rush through the end and rush through the actual HHOF section, but otherwise it was AMAZING. Would recommend to ANY hockey fan!!! I can't say for a non-hockey fan because WE LOVE HOCKEY! What an amazing experience!

Shane Burkle

Well done, fun for kids, and take your pic with the Stanley cup. Hard to find from the sidewalk, go inside and down one floor for the main entrance. 60-90min is sufficient for all but the most hardcore hockey fans.

Andrew GEE

Exciting to wander through hockey history. So much to look at, so much history. If you are a hockey fan you have to go. 3 of 5 because of the poor quality of the reality experiences and the 3D movie is dated. Just time for a technical upgrade that's all. Worth every penny, the staff was informative and helpful. Good to see representation of persons with disabilities on staff. Impressed.

David Lynch

Great place to see hockey history. Loved the Great Hall and seeing the Stanley Cup.

Lynne Frank

Good collection of memorabilia. Smaller than I anticipated but still fair size. We came during the week mid-December and it wasn't busy at all. My husband (hockey guru/fan x 20yrs) felt there could of been more interactive displays.

Jimmy Nonsense

Not the biggest hockey fan, but me and my fiance had a great time. There's quite a bit to do especially if you're willing to read the climax. I had a bit of a hard time finding it, but that's being nitpicky.

Saul Smeaton

Cooper Smeaton From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to navigationJump to search J. Cooper Smeaton James Cooper Smeaton (July 22, 1890 – October 3, 1978) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player, referee and head coach. He served as the National Hockey League (NHL)'s referee-in-chief from 1917 until 1937. Smeaton served as a Stanley Cup trustee from 1946 until his death in 1978. Smeaton was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961.

Rickard Shen

I have visited old churches, majestic cathedrals, temples, etc. but no place has felt remotely as sacred as Toronto's Hockey Hall of Fame. You could see Canadians praying to Saint Gretzky, while we Swedes payed homage to Salming, Forsberg, and Sundin at their shrines. The highlight was to enter the thick vault containing Canada's most precious treasure, the Stanley Cup, where you must humbly kneel and say a prayer for your local Hockey team.

Jim Baksa

Cool place to see hockey history. Interactive attractions make it more than just something cool to look at. Plan to spent some time just wandering and taking in all of the exhibits

J. M

Anyone who has ever enjoyed the game or still enjoys the game should make the trip here.! Kind of small in comparison to the Baseball H.O.F. in Cooperstown, N.Y. , but still a wonderful place to see the legends and memorabilia of this grand game.!! Getting to the actual entrance is kind of tricky for those who assume that the spirit of hockey store provides an entrance, it doesn't, only an exit from the Hall... you go downstairs in Brookfield Place, the mall that houses the H.O.F. to the food concourse and there you will find the entrance.

Paul Hwang

A must see for hockey fans. There is a pretty cool 9/99 Howe/Gretzky exhibit there at the moment. Also, you get to see the Stanley cup and the other player awards displayed upstairs in the grand hall. Super cool. You can touch the cup, but just don't move it or pick it up.

E Sayed

The place is huge and has a different architecture that makes you wonder how delicately it was built. It has a merchandising store also that sells icr hockey jerseys and mug. The place also has various restaurants and tim hortons for good cup of coffee.

s000mable

We are from the UK so we don't have much of a Hockey culture but this was still very interesting to see. It's bigger then we thought. We especially liked the locker rooms area and the goal simulator. The staff in the spirit of hockey were a bit terse with me when I wanted to buy a jersey but might just be an off day

Emerson C

Must visit venue for tourists and locals alike. Those who appreciate hockey would be pleased with their visit.

Christopher Schmitz

Great museum. Besides being on a Stanley Cup winning team,.. how else would you get so close to the cup? The museum is a little difficult to find,.. so ask around inside and someone will tell you. The gift shop is good too, although a little pricey,.. but what gift shop isn't?

Luke M

I really wish there would be more displays from the very early days of hockey. Most of the stuff is post 1980, wish we could see more displays from the early 1900s. Still a worthy trip for any hockey fan.

James Hart

The place to go for all hockey fans, they had some interactive activities.

Kaveh Hajighazi

Great experience overall. Im a big hockey fan and walking into HHOF was magical. The history of the game is in full display for all to see. I saw the Gretzky and Howe exhibit which was amazing. The virtual goalie and shots were also great although I could not upload my videos which were disappointing (extremely). I also took a photo with the cup which was done excellent and was adequately priced. Overall it was a great experience and I will do it again. Highly recommended.

Vad Beren

What can I say? I am a hockey nut - and this is my Temple! There was s no other place on Earth like HHOF

Roman Zelvenschi

Amazing space for a fan. It is way bigger than it looks from outside and has lots of activities and memorabilia. The real Stanley Cup is here and the original one. For sure well worth the price of admission.

Lisa Tran

If you're a hockey lover, this place will be like heaven. It's surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be inside. Not only is it a museum of hockey memorabilia, but there's lots of interactive things inside as well. Plus, you can get up close and personal with the Stanley Cup!

Angelina Nicholaou

I'm not a huge hockey fan. More like I know nothing about hockey but I went with my partner's family and I really enjoyed it. It's so well curated and organised and I really liked learning about hockey. Would definitely suggest going

A Fat Cat

The best location for a hockey fan, it’s very big and a lot of fun.

Robert Betke

As an Australian I know virtually nothing about ice hockey but the displays, films and interactive games were incredible. Anyone with an interest in sport will enjoy the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Sergio Muzlera

What a great place to see the history of hockey and all of its legends. Well worth the entrance fee.

Andrew Neary

Purchased a hat that wasn't quite right after a long day of hat shopping. Was able to try it on for a few days keeping the sticker on the bottom and my receipt. When it was clear it wasn't the right hat, they let me return it very hassle free and I was able to look for another, better hat for me. Great service and very large selection of hockey memorabilia.

Adeel Rajput

Really an amazing place to visit if you're in Toronto! Loads of history and interactive features. The retail store is always neat and clean, museum has a lot to offer. Architecture and history is amazing - the friendly, passionate and helpful staff really steal the show! Have been here multiple times and will go back!

Jean-Sebastien Normandeau

This place is great for any hockey fan anywhere. It's not just about the NHL, as you already know this place is about hockey all over the world. So if you're from Germany, Russia or anywhere else that plays hockey, you'll find something about a team from your country. Also the interactive game are great for kids and adults.

Lisa YEG

Amazing! Bigger museum than I thought it would be. Lots of fun things to do, see and be a part of. Best of all....the Stanley Cup!!

Ryan Parker

This should honestly be called the Hockey Jersey Hall of Fame because 90% of the museum is hockey sweater displays. Kind of disappointing and boring after a while. If you aren't into looking at old hockey jerseys and don't care that player X wore them during so and so, this is not the museum for you. The museum also seemed very cramped and tight. Even if you go during a slow day or time, you'll still feel it. Very small interaction area too where you can shoot pucks and play goalie. The lines are ridiculous though and packed with kids. You do get to stand next to the Stanley Cup, which is cool. But for $20 a person, I'd only recommend it to the hardcore fan. Wouldn't go back.

Filipe Ferreira

Great place to spend the day, if you love hockey so much to see and do.

Trevor Ng

If you’re a hockey fan you’ll love it here. Bathrooms were a little dirty but as long as you’re only taking a number one in the men’s you’ll be fine. Modern and retro artifacts along with a special exhibition that’s been up for three …

Val V

Must see for all! I'm not even a hockey fan but, this place was a fun and educational place from a historic point of view. The building itself is beautiful! The interactive rinks were a blast and I loved the tribute Video to Wayne Gretzky!

Stephen Schmitt

No first trip to Toronto for any hockey fan is complete without visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame. The museum houses exhibits and artifacts chronicling hockey in leagues around the world with interactive exhibits where attendees can test their skills. There are snack and drink machines in the museum, too, in case you lose track of time while walking around. Don't forget to check out the vault with the trophies.

Austin Brunner

Amazing experience! Loved seeing the history in the halls of this place. The Howe/Gretzky exhibit was truly spectacular. Loved that the Stanley Cup was there and was able to snag some photos with it. Saw Nik Lidstrom while en route to the venue for his Lidstrom/Sundin exhibition. A must experience for any hockey fan!

Keiron Kozy

Tons of fun for kids. Lots to see. Can spend an entire day they. In/out privilege. Interactive stuff for kids. Some stuff had lineups but if you come back in a bit it was empty. Staff were great.

Mindy Crump

If you live all things hockey, this is a place you must go see. Such a big collection of memorabilia to look st and reminisce

Bernard King

If you are a hockey nut this is the place you want to be. Facts and artifacts alike, trophies and games for the little ones. Surprisingly well stocked for such a small place. Budget 1 to 1.5 hours. Staff were super nice and even have a discount at the door. Only downside is it's a little tricky to find the front entrance (in basement of Brookfield place)

Ethan Oprendek

This is a great place to visit! Went here for a work event, so they obviously host. There was catered food and we got to use the TSN theatre. Great venue, incredible collection, very well curated. I learned so much about hockey. The location is hard to miss, but parking can take some coordinating.

s t

Even the wife had fun and she isn't even in to sports

Buckhunter168

First time visiting. Entrance was not clearly marked. Have to leave the area with shops and find the escalator to the basement. The entrance is in the basement. You have to pay for the program ($20 I think) in addition to admission if you want a map. The displays and hall itself were awesome! Exit is through the gift shop as usual for these places.

Billy Peene

Loved coming here, there's everything here from every year to every level/league. It's amazing to see all the games used equipment from there legends of hockey. Cameras are welcomed and there's a very nice gift shop! There's even some hands on stuff for the kids!

Craig Bull

Really good place. Very interesting for hockey fans. My wife wasn’t too impressed but was entertained enough. I loved the place.

Stanislav Batalov

A Must-visit for every hockey fan! Amazing place!

Lars Egil Swang

Heaven for all hockey fans! Coming all the way from Norway to see this, and it did not let me down. As a Habs fan i think i got all i could ask for and more!

Mike Machum

Always a great time stopping by!

Ray Situ

Lots of hockey history to go through. The great thing about this place is that admission is good for the entire day so you can leave to get lunch and then get back in for free. Asides it being a hockey fan's wet dream, the architecture is also quite nice.

Jeremy Martin

I work with Hockey Ministries International. We recently hosted our annual Ontario fundraiser event for the second year in a row at the HHoF. Can't say enough how amazing this experience was! Aaron, Dillon and the rest of the HHoF team are extremely professional and easy to work with. The service and customer-experience is top-shelf. This truly set the tone with our guests and made for an outstanding event. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience for your friends, team, office, group etc... I highly recommend contacting Aaron to book the Hockey Hall of Fame!!!

Ted Kidwell

I have visited here a few years ago before -c-19 hit. This was a good place to visit they got a lot to see it so beautiful of a place to see the history of hockey so much to see the greats of the game a very good place to visit

Kishore Hari

Get past that the entry is in a food court in the bottom. This is an awesome visit for any hockey fan. So many relics of the past - jerseys, locker room set ups, interactives for the kids. The goalie mask exhibit also made me cry. And its the hockey hall of fame, so you get international stories, famous womens hockey games. But then you get to the trophy room. Vezina trophy. The Hart trophy. The cup. What an amazing gem of a museum and worth every penny.

sheri sipes martel

So much history. Well laid out. Interactive displays as well as cases of displays.

Daniel Laughlin

There's tons of hockey lore here - jerseys, teams, players, trophies. There's an interactive area where you can shoot pucks at a goalie simulation, or (try to) make saves against shooters. If you love, or even like, hockey, you'll love it here.

Ted Odell

As usual the hockey hall of fame does not let down it was great

Burt Hurt

Just an incredible shrine to hockey's best! And we loved the 9/99 exhibit and the tribute to minor hockey for the silver stick champions.

Rachel G.

Very impressive museum!!! A very beautiful curation inside a historic building. You could easily spend a few hours here, especially given the interactive sections and 3D movie. Seeing the Stanley Cup alone would make this worth a visit.

Julianna Boudreau (Julia)

Amazing. For starters the exhibits were all pleasing to look at in general. With beautiful colours, placement of items and using a modest amount in the display, everything was appealing. The shoot out and trivia game were pretty cool. We were also able to take our own picture with the Stanley cup. All in all 3.5 hours of amazing!

OfficialG Tui

This place has a lot of sports history. They even have gears from decades back. Kids can really enjoy hockey here. Movie theatre, hockey simulator, trophy room and many more. Must go see this place!

Susie S

For hockey or sports fans around the world...this is a must to visit...it is interactive, the Gretzky-Howe collection is fantastic and there are lots of NHL jerseys and memorabilia to buy. All the exhibits and trophies on display are every …

Brendon Herzig

As a hockey fan this place was amazing! The history and accomplishments are an amazing sight to see. Plan for a good amount of time to walk around and really enjoy your time. However, you can exit and come back in to grab a bite or drink. See the Stanley cup and all the championship rings. Have some fun playing games and testing your skills.

Douglas Mann

If you are at all interested in hockey, this is a must see. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours. Hug the Stanley cup and get your pic taken. Love this place.

RSH DVP

An Interactive, family friendly and educational experience. Well worth the price of admission.

Steve Rathier

Great place for hockey fans there is so much to see

Christophito Fenelon

Very cool place. If you are a hockey fan you should visit that place.. Fun place go with family and friends.

Ryan Grzes

Definitely a must see for hockey fans! Easy to get to and filled with tons of memorabilia. It is also far larger on the inside than it appears on the outside. If you are paying is US dollars though, use your credit card so the exchange rate is calculated accurately. I think if you pay in cash they charge the same in US dollars as Canadian ($20).

Karin Haspell

You can actually touch the Stanley Cup and take a picture with it. Lots of interactive activities, lots of great memorabilia.

Brad Dingman

Great memorabilia. I've read some reviews that said they only spent half hour here..... then they weren't true hockey fans! My son and I spent over 2 hours here and still had a ton of information to take in! They also have a few interactive games here as well which are free to play. We absolutely loved it! (Didn't hurt that the Stanley Cup was on display when we went)

mike d

Absolutely wonderful. So much information on the history of the game, loved it.

Charlie MSYT

I’m not into my hockey at all but it was a pretty interesting place with a couple of interactive bits too, well worth going.

Salvatore Minerva

Classy place, it's realy the church of hockey????

Doug Faver

Beautiful building was once a bank. Before entering there are many beautiful shots you can take of interior of building. Was inside if you are a hockey fan or sports historian time will fly bye inside this mecca.Just when you think it's done they have a interactive section where you can be a goalie a shooter or broadcaster have a blast come on down

Shelby Meyers

If you're a hockey fan, this is a must visit location. So much memorabilia from all leagues and a ton of collectables as well. Even the most die hard hockey fan is bound to pick up a fact or two! The upstairs hall contains all of the trophies, not to mention the room is original to when the building was a bank and just a stunning room. My boyfriend and I enjoyed learning the history of each trophy and, of course, getting up close and personal with the Stanley Cup is awesome. One of the few museums we visited in Toronto that was 100% worth the price of admission! There is no food in the museum, but your ticket is good for the day so you can always duck out to the nearby Starbucks or Tim Hortons for a pick-me-up before continuing!

Chris Ambrozic

Only thing I would suggest is to make the exhibit of the Canada cup and the world cup of hockey to be larger in scope and prominence. Give that more attention; it's such a great story for those of us who lived through it and want to share it with the next generation.

Erika M

It was so cool seeing all the memorabilia. Especially Wayne Gretzky's stuff! As well as seeing the Stanley cups. My beau was in his glory ????

Logan York

Any hockey fan would love the HHOF. Any and all things hockey. Olympic, NHL, Junior etc. Has interactive exhibits as well. Was able to view and take photos with the Stanley Cup as well as many of the other trophies. Could spend all day here

Dany h.

Let's face it: a MUST-see for every hockeyfan. amazing building, lots of impressive objects. the "cathedral" with the stanley Cup and other trophies is really impressive. gift shop is a bit pricey.

Vernon Snidal

This is great for a rainy day; all of hockey history is in one building. Allot to take in at once. The Stanley Cup is also on display among all the other trophy's amazing to read all the names.

Philip Tanious

Overall experience was overwhelming

Manas Grover

I went in there without knowing what was waiting for me inside. The place was fun and very interesting. Got to learn a lot about the history of the game. Enjoyed the virtual hockey games as well

dale Lalonde

Great piece of hockey history. Great memorabilia and interactive information. It could have spent an entire afternoon there. One thing lacking was women's hockey history. A little bit of a display, but felt there could have been more. Considering the NHL is expanding, it would have been nice to see something promoting the Kraken ... A suggestion also would have a display for the chronological history of teams and which teams moved to different cities etc.. All the teams jerseys are on display but i think more is needed. I.e. Thrashers to Winnipeg. Nordiques to avalanche.. Etc.. All in all, great displays and a good what to spend a few hours.

Keri A

Great and informative place. Does.need to be more interactive for kids though. They could get bored quickly especially if they are not into hockey

Jackie Godlien

Would highly recommend very interesting. Lots of fun for this wife of an avid hockey fan. Who really isn't into hockey but is a supportive wife. There were games to play no matter the age. Elevators too. A stand in type Stanley cup. The staff left us alone to view, were around to answer questions. Also, a short information video on players from the past.

Susana Nagy

Definitely worth every penny!! Gave us goosebumps seeing all the memorabilia.

Andrew Inglis

All enjoy coming here sometime new every year a must visit for hockey fans

Steven Anderson

Kids enjoyed doing the goalie simulator and seeing parts of the original Stanley cup

Mike Jorgenson

Worth every penny, seen 9/99 great exhibits what memories it bring back spent almost 3 hrs there still not enough. Priced very fair but parking can be a little tough.

Liz Good

Fabulous. Not into hockey but went along with the rest of the group and was pleadantly suprised. Really enjoyed it. Only downside eas the 3D film, wasn't working in 3D and the film in the Tim Hortons theatre didn't have start times posted or title or length. It was intersting but very longm

Stephen Ropp

For history and hockey lovers only. Interactive. Feel the hair stand up when you enter the trophy room where all of the NHL hardware is stored, yes, Lord Stanley's cup is on display and you can take photos of you hugging and kissing it. Disinfectant wipes recommended.

Chad Lemaire

The history in this place is astonishing. The interactive games are fun and if there is a line up people move through it very fast. And they are worth the wait. The 3D movie was fun. My kids loved it. Enjoy!!

Tammy McTaggart

If your in TO. Go there if you like hockey. Take people who do and listen to the stories of games they went to. Older jerseys bring alot of memories...right across the street from Union station, go train and TTC. Building use to be a bank very nice layout.

Steve Nagy

Amazing experience for any hockey fan

Mark Weist

What a wonderful place! I need to make a return visit....

Feisty McB

Located in the mall complex at the corner of Yonge and Front St. You can enter the complex through Spirit of Hockey, walk through to the mall entrance, make a left, take the escalator down a level and walk back to the entrance of the HOF. It costs $CA20 to enter. You'll get a hand stamp which allows you to re-enter as many times before closing time. There is plenty of memorabilia and a special exhibit honoring Howe and Gretzky. All the interactive games are recorded for retrieval afterwards. I, myself am not a big hockey fan, but I did appreciate the items I saw. Whatever you do, don't miss the opportunity to take a selfie with the Stanley Cup. You are allowed to take your own photo, with your own camera/photo. Employees of the HOF are not allowed to take your photo, with YOUR camera/phone. They do offer to take your photo with their camera, 3 photos for $10 and a digital link to said photo. There is nowhere to eat within the HOF, although there are vending machines for beverages and snacks (candy).

Happy Dee

The museum is nice to visit. However when entered inside the building it looks like a shopping mall and office building. Outside it looks like a historic building. Inside the new modern building was built to join the old which I think it's so negatively contrast. The museum of the hockey Hall of Fame itself was hidden at the lower level and there is no sign from the street level to point the way. I had to ask someone to find out.

Sam Fenstermacher

This place is vast and has a special place in the heart of hockey fans. The size of the collection is incredible. I am not exaggerating when I say this place far exceeded my expectations.

Brianna Morse

Amazing! Take your time to read the information! Very fascinating! Highly recommend

Michael Wong

Nice display of past and present players from all across the country. A bit disappointed with the lack of display and presentations. There was a small section of goalie masks. But, nothing to elaborate on the position. In fact, there was barely anything for goalies. There was a huge focus on Howe, Gretzky and the dynasty of the Canadiens. The theatre was less than entertaining. The games for both adults and kids was a great idea ... unfortunately, the level of play was so far advanced that it really wasn't fun for the kids. The goalie section shots were light speed that you can barely make a save unless you study the shots, which takes away from the fun. The shooting screen were just as bad as the system was not very accurate. Overall, it was a good experience ... I, at least visited it once. Disappointed with the lack of display and the history of the game. I found the baseball HOF more entertaining. Plus, the hassle of it being in downtown Toronto did not make life any easier.

Gregory G

We had a great experience at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto! It’s engaging for both adults and kids, with lots of new interactive activities and games for the younger fans! I especially enjoyed their goalie mask wall showing the progression and evolution over the years! Lots to see and definitely worth the price of admission!

Michael Braude

Great surprise at how awesome the Hall of Fame was. Even though not a hockey fan it was exciting to see the Stanley cup and the architecture of the building it is housed in. It is surprisingly big and has a number of fun interactive things to do for the kids and adults alike. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Not worth $20 entrance unless you love hockey but with free entrance was definitely worth a visit.

Spencer

Even if you are not super interested in hockey you will enjoy it! They have lots of cool interactive exhibits and great staff. Highly recommend

Mark Lewandowski

Went to the Baseball Hall of Fame earlier this year and this was actually better. There are more interactive displays in addition to all of the traditional Hall of Fame history. We were able to stand with the cup and have our picture taken with it. The Hall will perform the service for $10 or you can have someone from your group (or a kind stranger) do it on your phone or camera for free. It is centrally located in the heart of downtown with plenty of other things to do in the area. Well worth the $20 tickets. You can search for discounted tickets online. Costco.ca has them for $14.

Camilla Gibson

To be honest, I haven’t properly followed hockey since the early 90s, so I didn’t know how exciting this would be for me. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The exhibition is very well planned out with lots of historical information (in both French and English) and lots of exciting memorabilia. There were also many video and interactive exhibitions. It was great fun to see all of the trophies, especially the Stanley Cup! One thing that I had hope to see that I was disappointed not to find (unless I just missed it) was a database of all players. Also, a coat check room is needed! It’s winter in Canada, and everyone (including myself) had to carry around their heavy winter coats. There is also a huge gift shop, which is expensive but not exorbitantly so. In all, a very nice way to spend a few hours.

Ghislain Lavoie

Great experience for the hockey connoisseur (myself) and the occasional viewer (my wife) enough to inform, entertain and enjoy. The memorabilia is great and the exhibits are well thought out. The trophy room really scores the hat trick for me though!

Adrian V

Excellent experience for the hockey fan and his/her kids. Lots of memorabilia, some simulators and a few cinema experiences as well. Great for a hockey family day trip.

Paul Dwyer

When visiting hockey H of F recommended two hour visit. Excellent displays from past to current stars of the game. Also can have picture taken with the Stanley Cup. There is lots there to frighten your pockets so select wisely what you want to buy. It can get expensive quickly. Nevertheless, great memories of the great stars of hockey.

Ward Graff

Awesome place to bring your up and coming hockey stars or those who grew up watching hockey you are more then likely to find your favorite player somewhere in there

Adam D

Worth a visit if you are in Toronto and interested in ice hockey. The place is smaller than I expected and doesn't feel like it flows in any single direction. Nevertheless, I was impressed with the quality of memorabilia on display and short wait time to get in. Just a tip for first timers, once you get into the building go down the escalator and you'll find the Hall of Fame behind Starbucks (pic provided).

atieh abedin

If you are not a hockey fan, there is not much to enjoy.

Simon Palmucci

Absolutely love it here. So much to see and so many different interactive activities, that you could be there for hours walking around and taking it all in. If you're a fan of the game of hockey and have never been here, then I definitely recommend it.

G

So much hockey history, very interesting!

Saad Bhatti

Needs no introduction! A wonderful destination that I'd highly recommend visiting. One, of course all of the legendary hockey talent that is enshrined in the HoF is a marvel to explore in itself, the facility is beautiful and very clean and they've done a wonderful job arranging the different displays and halls to lead you through an exciting tour. Well organized and easy to navigate, the Grand Hall, home of the Stanely Cup championship trophy is a must see. Also other things related but beyond the museum aspect also played a roll in making our visit great. The food court just outside the entrance had great quality lunch options. The HoF itself is in a great location right in the heart of downtown Toronto so its easy to explore and several other fun things to do during your visit. Parking in the area can usually be quite a hassle, however for HoF guests, they have their own parking structure and validate parking! So when we came we parked there, enjoyed the museum, and also explored all around the downtown area for the day keeping our car in the HoF structure and parked for the entire day for almost free.

Bonnie Hui

It's a fantastic place to see historical hockey information, records and information about the greats of the sport wherever they are from. There are interactive areas and fun for children and adults. The Great Hall where all the trophies and Hall of Famers are listed is spectacular.

Kameron Zimmerman

The hockey hall of fame didn't really live up to my expectations. But it was a fun place to kill an hour or two. I likes the interactive games portion. But I don't think every team was represented fairly which made my visit not as enjoyable.

Mike Smith

It hasn't changed much since the last time I was there five years ago but I still recommend it if you are a hockey fan. It's cool to see all of the jerseys from around the world and to see the plaques of all the players in the hall of fame. The gift shop seems to be quite stocked as well. It isn't too expensive to buy a ticket and you can stay A long as you want. I highly recommend stopping by here if you haven't been here before.

Pratham Satoskar

Amazing! If you LOVE hockey, you gotta go. The history of the game, the players and the immerrsive atmosphere makes you feel like you were there from the very birth of the game to the present. Why can't the leafs win, like really what does it take to just win. The LA kings did it and it doesn't even rain there let alone snow. Yeah, visit the place, needs more funding though, could use a touch up. :)

Christine Vital

Visited the Hockey Hall of Fame with my son that was super excited to see all the sports history, vintage and new jerseys and overall games. It was a wonderful day of fun and as a result, I have become quite the hockey expert.

jose Luis

I have a very good experience at hockey Hall of fame it is truly what your name says they have everything done the right way I am a hockey fan And They impressed me and I say that very rarely

Yonis Hassan

For me personally, it was a waste of time. Not enough black history is mentioned in this hall of fame, which is a disappointment. Maybe in the future, there can be an improvement on the lack of diversity.

Tim Blasingim

Hockey lovers dream and a must visit. Great interactive experience and games for all.

Shenita Salade

A must-see attraction for hockey fans who find themselves in Toronto. Plan to spend about two hours exploring the history of major league hockey, especially from a Canadian perspective. Highlights include a replica of Maurice Richard's Montréal Canadiens locker room, a mock TSN studio, a slap shot hockey area, and of course, the Stanley Cup vault! American and international hockey is also well represented, and special honor is paid to legends Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe.

Al P

What can be said other than this place is great. Huge exhibit of hockey memorabilia. Plus you get to see the Stanley cup up close. Only thing to add i think is more games or interactive stuff. To help break up between all the reading.

Bill Hughes

I'm the farthest thing from a hockey fan but this was a great place to experience.

E M

Brought back so many memories of my childhood. When in Toronto, this is a MUST SEE!

Chris Watson

Alot to see! Best price is Costco.ca online! I took my 85 year old Dad for Fathers Day! Had a great time however "accessibility" signs where the elevators are etc etc would have been helpful, just some helpful options as it is alot of walking...for everyone especially when you are 85! Good exhibits...enjoyed a must see for a avid hockey fan.

Kiera Sheppard

Good way to learn the history of hockey and all of the great players- would have loved a description on how to play/rules as I am unfamiliar with the sport. Otherwise great place to visit and reasonable prices for entry.

Mar Gray

Thanks to Natalie at hhof for making our trip easy and fun despite some of the complications we ran into due to the pandemic. She went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was successful. It was, and we had a great time!

anthony keough

Great place to visit, Martin was a help.

ipshita garnaik

Good collection. The hall of throphies was really nice. Lots of hockey moments captured really well. Take your time. Read through.

joel matthew

There is so much to see and take in for one day. The stanley cup was there when my wife and I visited which was a plus. Gift shop has something for everyone. This place is a must for hockey fans and anyone who enjoys living their life.

Josh K

Love coming to the Hockey Hall of Fame when I am in town. The games area is lots of fun for people of all ages. I love the hall of the goalies masks, loved the Howe and Gretzky exhibit and the Great Hall is a must for all hockey fans. My personal favourite spot is the vintage Montreal Canadiens locker room. I come here with my father every year and it’s a great father/son bonding trip. Also took my wife here for the first time and she had just as much fun. A great visit for hockey families. A must do.

Donna Manno

Very reasonable ticket price. A lot to see. Something for every fan. Kid friendly. The room the Stanley Cup resides is absolutely amazing.

Martin frost

Very fun place to go see if you love hockey.lots of history and facts for the whole family.3 d movies are cool great gift shop

Nicole Roke

So much fun! A lot to see as a hockey fan and always coming out with new displays so if you were to come back you'll always see something different!

Sergei Malygin

Good place for all ice-hockey fans

Nikola Lapenna

Amazing place with fantastic history and fun games and interactions to enjoy. I particularly liked the announcing booth, calling the biggest goals in hockey history

Chris Whalen

Very nice place to visit do much to see and do there

Clinton John James

The Hockey Hall of Fame is the place to take any lover of the sport. The activities and history in the hall combines fun with education. It has continued to expand its exhibits to include international and women's hockey. I have built up a rather large hockey jersey collection simply by visiting the gift shop following my visits to the hall.

Nabeela Sh

A good place to spend a couple of hours and learn about the history of hockey. You can also take a picture with the Stanley cup! The 3D TSN Theatre inside is also a free and a really fun experience!

S P

An absolute beautiful experience. So much memorabilia. Staff were wonderful, a word to the wise the entrance is downstairs, in the …

Glen Tucker

The price for a Toronto attraction is exceptional and if you enjoy hockey at any level this is a real treat Was great go see alot of the players i grew up with from the 60 and 70's Alot of great memories. Well worth the trip.

Nicole Hartmann

We visited the Hockey Hall of Fame while on vacation in Toronto and had a great experience. We visited on a weekday at the end of October and the place only had a few people - not crowded at all. I’d read mixed reviews about the size of the museum so I didn’t know what to expect but I was really impressed with the collection! It was a really fun experience and I learned a lot. Plus the simulator game was a lot of fun! Definitely worth the visit.

David Cowan

Amazing place. You can go alone, with friends or family. Can learn the history of the sport. Amazing items to look through. Interactive area to get hands on experience playing hockey.

Kelsey Kruhlak

The Hockey Hall of Fame has something for everyone. Personally, the history and the artifacts were intriguing. I appreciate the variety in the exhibits, there is a lot to learn related to all aspects of the game. If you have kids they won't be bored either, there were interactive parts like the goaltending and shootout games and videos games as well. We spent about 3 hours there and really could have stayed longer.

Are You Kind?

It doesn't seem as large as some of the other Halls of Fame that I visited. It is very well done and of course the Stanley Cup is there. In the heart of downtown Toronto there is plenty to do around it as well. Very easy to get to with public transportation.

Kevin Bates

Great memorabilia and friendly staff. New displays included items from a match that was only a few days prior to my visit. The Stanley Cup room was awesome! Also loved seeing all of the masks throughout the years. And the Gordie and Great One display was amazing.

Ryan Matheson

Always have an good time here! This is a must do for any hockey fan! A little disappointed a few of the interactive attractions were on IR during this visit with my son on his first visit but he got to shoot and play goal which was his highlight being 4. Most staff were great as usual and most seem like true hockey fans. My one major issue was our stanley cup photos taken by the photographer were of such poor quality when I went to ask about it I was told they could do nothing not even a refund. Besides minor issues and a lack of empathy by a couple employess, a great time. Also being a short 5 minute walk from Union station no one has a reason not to go!!

A decent way to spend a few hours in toronto. The interactive activities are now pretty dated but kids still enjoy them. The trophy area is usually dead so you have a lot of time to look at them.

Doug Campbell

Oh the Hockey Hall of Fame....they have some great exhibits and demonstrations, it's nice to see all of the hardware and the jerseys from various eras. This is the place where I had the chance to meet my hero, #1 In our programmes and in our hearts, Johnny Bower. If you're a hockey fan, you have to see this place at least once in your life.

Jillian Wakarchuk

If you love hockey this is there place to go. The architecture of the old bank is great. There are interactive games. Kids may get bored if you're there a long time.

Steve H

I am the hockey fan in my house but even the hockey hall of fame brought tears to my wife's eyes

Bren D

Terrific experience. As a huge fan, I appreciated the depth of the exhibits. My girlfriend (who has less hockey knowledge) really appreciated the introduction to the great game. The staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely return!

Massimo Giacca

I love sports as much as I knew nothing about hockey before.. well, this museum is really involving and rich! The rooms, the interactive parts, the exhibitions…… and the Stanley Cup, oh my that was really cool!

Alain Sakha

Finding the entrance was a bit complicated but once inside, it felt like walking into a temple. It was glorious. The interactive games were pretty cool and I especially liked the fact that they allow you to touch and take pictures with the cup.

jerry mussio

Other than the beautiful room with the list of inductees, this is a poorly organized exhibit. Much of it appears randomly organized in bits and pieces with no coherence. The 3D movie was all flash and no substance. Very disappointing! Other similar exhibits —such as the country music hall of fame — are organized chronologically. Suggest CEO hockey hall of fame visit Nashville to get some guidance. I started playing hockey in Canada in the 1950s and am still trying to score the big goal. Hockey fans in Canada deserve a better exhibit.

Neil Korotash

I forgot what an incredible place this was! I had visited about 15 years ago, and just took my 12 year old son. So much history, so incredibly displayed. QR codes bring you to Youtube videos of some of hockey's greatest moments, great interactive stuff for the kids, the goalie masks were amazing, all the memorabilia, the trophies, the Cup, the Stanley cup rings. Just very very well done showcase. Highly recommend for even casual hockey fans! We didn't spend the extra $10 for photos with the cup, you're allowed to take your own for free ;-)

Max Bauer

Great museum for NHL fans with the special highlight that the Stanley Cup is displayed

Randy McClelland

Great time here. Spent 4 hrs still not long enough. Great staff thank you

Jessica Forest

This place is bigger then it seems, we were there for a good 2 almost 3 hrs & didn't get through all of it. Great history and information. Would highly recommend you stop by if you are in Toronto.

Kevin Boyne

Glad we went, depending how much history you read but plan on atleast an hour.

Zlatko Cercic

Alot of history, some i did not know existed, had a great time looking back at what hockey was and how it grew throughout the years

M D

Not a hockey fan at all, went to the hall of fame solely to make the boyfriend happy. Ended up actually enjoying it. There's something interesting for everyone here, well done!

Chris Collins

WOW!!!! Being an ice hockey fan, It’s always been a place I wanted to visit!!! So much to see and do there. They literally have everything in there. Was even suprised to see a Great Britain ice hockey top in there. Reasonable ticket prices too was expecting it to be a lot more!! Can’t recommend this place enough would deffo be first place to go on the list when I visit Toronto again

Richard Worthington

Even if you have little knowledge of Ice Hockey, this place is defo still worth a visit. Lots of exhibits from history and plenty of interesting history and facts to learn. They also have an interactive section for you to participate in

Brent Rud

As a lifelong hockey fan - this place is a must. Either you'll want to spend all day there because you want to see everything or you will be ready to leave after about 2 hours. So much stuff there that brings back memories of the milestones of the game and to learn more about the history of the game. The goalie mask wall, the Canadien's dressing room, the 9 & 99 exhibit, the CUP, everything iconic about the game is on display here. My kids loved the virtual experience more than most of the displays.

David Balazic

Great place. Lots of cool exhibits for hockey fans and some neat interactive items as well.

Jennifer Lambe

As a non hockey fan it was ok. Bit overpriced for length of time in exhibit (1.5hours approx) but interesting non the less

Scott Ash

I can not explain the feelings I had just walking through the HHOF with my daughter for the 1st time in downtown Toronto. We flew to Toronto for a weekend of memories. I just wish I had more time...it was awesome. Only 1 problem...traffic, but you get that in any major city. So plan ahead, and do lots of walking, wear comfortable footwear too. 10 out of 10!!!

David Liversidge

A very cool place to visit. Any hockey fan could spend hours here. The interactive displays are fun for the kids and there is alot of history to experience

Master 1917

Awesome experience! Original Stanley Cup! The one and only Hockey Hall of Fame!

Tiffany Lin

One of the best places to visit in Toronto. Awesome place and nice staff!

Aydan McCulloch

Awesome place, smaller than I expected but very neat. Gift shops are a little pricy but expected. ????????

Arnaldo I. Adorno

First time to the hockey hall of fame. Like it so much I might become a much more consistent hockey fan. You have your normal jersey, sticks and glove artifacts. However, the theatre that plays the film on the history of hockey is great. The interactive goalie and shooting section is very fun. The Stanley Cup area/ vault is great. The only thing that was strange was that it was on the bottom floor of the building close to the food court. Hmm......

Vik Chauhan

Very cool interactive games Able to shot on an nhl goalie. Or have a player take shots on you. Interesting video. Good for an hour or two.

B Skinny

Complained about the brat that works there on saturday and no response.

kevin tiaden

I am a big hockey fan and have played many years. Having said that, it was awesome!!! For me at least. I loved the walking tour of the players. There was fun areas that kids and adults would love. International areas. Famous memorabilia, like the goal and puck where Gretzky broke the scoring record. But the cathedral of hockey in the old bank area was awesome. Getting a picture with the Stanley cup for nothing additional. You could pay to have someone do it for you. All the big trophies and the original cup is there. If you love hockey, you will love it.

Dawnelle Streicher

Awesome place! Staff is so friendly and helpful. You'll learn all you need to know about hockey after being here!

Laura S

such a cool place for a hockey fan. Lots of things to see including equipment and jerseys worn by your favourite players. They have a really cool goalie helmet room, a huge trophy room where the original Stanley is and so much more. Go check it out. It's located underneath the "Spirit of hockey" store...I only say that because it isn't super clear where it is located when you walk into the area.

Derek Williams

Great experience, could easily spend all day here. Lots of interactive exhibits, and tons of photo ops throughout the facility. There is lots to read and checkout, and lots of exhibits that have extra features if you scan the qr code with …

Ian k

My only regret is I didn't leave myself enough time to see and read it all.

Daniel S

Nice hockey museum. I know they try, but young kids, no matter how into hockey they are, get their fill of hockey memorabilia real quick and the interactive stations are too few to keep them engaged for long enough overall. Plus you have …

Teresa Brancato

Brought hubby in his wheelchair, he hadn't been here in years. Easy entrance from the lower (commerce court), has an elevator to go to the grand hall for the Stanley cup and the other trophies and legends display. We were hoping for a reduced entry fee since we got there with only an hour left (they close at 5), but no deal.

Trevor L

Keep in mind I have not had kids, but that was the single most humbling experience of my life. To be in the rooms where the greatest players to play the game I have loved my entire life was humbling. I am an Oiler fan so that is my era and to see not only the Oiler players that have made the hall but also the other players I grew up on in the hall made me feel really old, but it took me back to a time when I feel the game was more pure. I can imagine what fans older than I must feel when they walk through the hall. Great value, a must see for any hockey fan.

Siva Arun

My son and I had a great time. My wife and daughter didn't. Interactive hockey shooting , goalie and news anchor were a lot of fun.

Meaghan Clayton

A great place to take the Hockey Lover. They have every type of Hockey showcased, which is nice to see. Great interactive area for everyone. It's a great place to spend a couple hours.

Peace For All

I idolized Eddie Giacomin and Jacques Plante who were the masked netminder wonders of vintage nhl fame. Great place yo inspire anyone wanting to lace up a pair of skates. I wore the pads and donned their moulded fiberglass masks as I was a guardian between the posts and did well until I elevated my game to play with men at age of 16 years old. Lots of true classy sportsmen of an era since past, and they loved the game and adored fans and didn't worship the mighty dollar like so many overpaid pro athletes in all sports. Gordie Howe, Keon, Makita, Tony Esposito, Beliveau, Cheevers, Rogie, and others were iconic legendary heros who played battered and bruised like the true champions they were long ago. Miss that era..
