REVIEWS OF Hindu Heritage Centre IN Mississauga

Rajiv Ranjan

Very calm and spiritual. Specially for Bihari people, there is statue of Chhath mata and Surya bhagwan there. Love the place.

Nischay Modi

It is a very well constructed temple with Tulsi plants indoor.

Haresh Desai

This is a religious site for Hindus. I have been going to this temple for over ten years. A very peaceful environment. They have sermons and prayers with the congregation every Sunday which is really good.

Shiva K

I have come here for many years ..... it’s place where I find solace, peace, unparalleled devotion, laughter and family get togethers all at the same time !!!! Deities are extremely beautiful and you can feel the aura around them ..... Programs and poojas are planned well..... especially like shivratri pooja done all night Challenge with parking ( limited space and messy parking during events)

Niranjan Regmi

Nice place for religious acts and priests are friendly and warm. They help to the extent possible and make you feel that there are still good people in the world. The best part is how the temple make you feel calm and peaceful.

Nitin Thukral

A great place to visit, meditate, and practice spirituality. Shastriji and the other priests are always welcoming of visitors and deliver their sermons in both Hindi and English.

Lucky Viji

The Aura was great inside the temple. it was so well maintained and big enough to hold many people at the same time

Anuj Sood

Good Hindu temple which gets crowded on festivals, otherwise quite quiet. They have free meals (preet bhoj) on Sunday evenings. In fall of 2019 it's undergoing some renovation. The main hall is accessible with stairs, not sure if there's an elevator as well.

Ashutosh Kaul

Good place. Welcoming .Temple Neatly maintained. Priests are accessible and there is no pressure to donate. Everyone is welcome. Please maintain decorum , take your shoes off at the entrance and refrain from touching the deities.

Vanraj Lamborghini

Quite big and well maintained. It has big parking lot and easily accessible location. Surprisingly less people than I expected during visit. Seems like we need to support temples instead of leaving our cultures value behind. Jai Shree Ram ????????????????????????

Sridhar Kapila

Nice temple, ample parking, well maintained. Very neat and peaceful. It's nice and quite in the temple. Lots of cultural activites do happen in the temple

Chetan Temkar

Nice Temple but architecture could have been more traditional. It's good for the Indian diaspora though to have such places

Praveen Singh

This is one of most beautiful temple in whole GTA. We love going there all the time. Because of the pandemic and stay home rules, we are not able visit so frequent now. Last time I visited during Diwali time. We feel so complete after seeing all the deities and take blessing from them..

Shivam Sharma

I didn’t knew, this place was so beautiful! I liked the aura, it was very peaceful. The most important thing is the temple staff has taken all the necessary measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. Overall it was a great time to visit this temple. Happy Diwali and happy new year guys.

Swati Misra

Very peaceful temple. Always a tranquil experience.

Mani

Very good & massive Maa Durga Temple in Mississagua, i loved the aarti in New Year day and will recommend everyone to visit the temple and have a Darshan ????

Inderjit S

A beautiful and peaceful place for prayer. There are lots of parking spaces. The place itself is well maintained and pandit ji is very friendly and helpful. It can be busy during festivals but it is always good to visit.

Gagan Kasana

Nice temple but priest are money minded. On any festival or occasions there is always announcement of request for donations either for temple extension or other . And some regulars treat it as a personal property .

Vivek Sharma

Temple is well maintained.. But would still encourage people to donate more and more. Temple just need to change the flag outside.

Akash Trivedi

Very serene atmosphere, amiable people and delicious food. Great place to visit during weekends and festivals for a wholesome experience.

Mike Shaw

I don't want to tarnish the rating by giving lower stars because I'm sure it's a lovely place, but there are times where they hold events at night and floods of people cross the street in the middle of traffic at night. All you can hear are people honking at the complete and utter disregard for the law. Please mention something to your members and visitors about J-walking, as it is extremely dangerous, especially at night. Thank you.

Paresh Sharma

Amazing mandir. Really enjoyed my visit. One of the only mandirs I’ve been able to truly experience spirituality and obtain peace of mind. The pandits were very professional, helpful and approachable. They truly understood what I needed.

Shilpa Verma

It's not just a temple there are various activities time to time. They have indian classical dance music and language classes for kids and adults.well maintained..????

Padigakar R

GOD Idols are placed on 1single stage. should visit for Durga matha puja. Hall can accommodate appx 200 people. Ample parking available.

# Paviranjanmusic

Such a peaceful temple. The Pandit ji are very detailed. We went there for a puja and it was accomplished in an excellent way utilizing even minute things like changing directions, remembering all our elders etc. They have posted Hindu values written in English on the walls which makes our kids easier to understand the same. I truly loved visiting this temple with my family.

Vedic Way

Very nice setup. Love the look and feel of the entire place. Some of the management people are not the best especially the idiots who maintain there Facebook. They don’t seem to care about Hinduism but only about this temple which is really sad as it’s all business to these people. Also they won’t allow you to take pictures. But the temple is beautiful and well maintained. Will go back again every year.

Manindra Kumar

Very beautiful place

Bhawani Jain

They are going through renovations right now, so it looks a little dirty and unorganized, but it is a good place for Hindus to pray and practice the religion. I wish they sometimes spoke in English or explained why certain things are practiced in the religion (what is a shivling, and why is it so important?).

Vaibhav Kadian

Janmashtami 2019???? 2020 Update: Temple should open at 6 am (not 7 am)

Rajesh Narni

A temple that embodies the true open architecture of Hindu way of life and worship. Also promotes culture, arts and literature.

Davinder Ahir

Big temple, specially dedicated to Shri Ganesh Ji, I used to work here, every member of the staff was very nice to me. I recommend to see this beauty atleast once.

Akshay Gauba

Huge Hindu temple. Lots of parking. You can learn about Indian Hindu culture here. They also have classes like Yoga, music etc.

Kedar G

Nice Temple, we were lucky to visit during Aarti. The guy reciting the aarti has very good voice making it soothing to listen. Ample parking space within the compound.

Mukesh Sharma

Very nice temple - Visited for the very first time and was really good. Priest were nice! Such a peaceful place. You can worship all the idols. This temple has lots of parking. Good thing about this temple was that it is not overcrowded. Management is really good. You can also subscribe their email list to get updates. They also go live on the facebook page. If you cannot attend the program , you can easily go FB live and attend it . Such a amazing place to worship and meditate.

Priya Painuly

My partner and I visited the temple recently because we are hoping to get married soon. The temple is absolutely beautiful from the outside and inside. It was clean and very well maintained. It was our first time but everyone we interacted with was very warm and friendly. Despite being busy, the Panditji was incredibly hospitable and kind. He gave us his time and really made us feel welcome. Out of all the temples I have visited in Canada, this one gave me the most sincerest vibes.

Krithika Iyer

The place was really well managed. It felt good inside the Heritage bldg. I liked the information put up on Hinduism and how to keep the mind from unwanted chatter. The only thing that I didnt understand was the positioning of God. But that could be how some temples in the North of India are perhaps. So its good. Hoping Canadian Indians visit and are able to teach their children because in my visit a lot of kids were curious about how we pray and why we pray to the idols.

Dr.Bhushan Sood

Strong energy vibes, especially around Hanuman ji' s deity. Strong Aura. Durga ma is very powerful. New Shiva linga and 12 Jyotirlingas!

Vishabh Chauhan

Clean and quiet place. Very beautiful ????

Sweta Kenia

Nice and big hall ( good for distancing). Aarti happens at 7pm. Amba mata in center. While Hunaman ji, Saraswati devi, Ram Sita, Radha Krishna, Ganpati bappa, loed Vishnu are there. Separate area for Shivling is there.

Parul Daweshar

It's not just a place for worship ...this is where I find my peace ... I love the fact that the management keeps it clean and organized .they keep on making necessary changes from time to time FYI you can watch live aarti on FB everyday at 7 pm from. Ur devices at Hindu heritage centres page

Abhinav Misra

Love this mandir ... Has a divine spiritual feeling . It's very clean and well maintained. Pundits are very courteous and helpful. Definitely one of the best in GTA.

Ganesh Prabhu

All god idols are worshipped. All Hindu festivals are celebrated

Abhishek garg

I loved it just because of the relief I got it from here was out of the world. Literally forgot that I am from india and not been in india at that point of time

Bharat Varma

Sadly one of the most disappointing temples I have even been to in Canada. Went here on karwachaut and the priest had no clue what he was doing or preaching. On top of it the temple was really dirty from inside.

Lalit

Huge and well maintained temple. Must visit

Rakesh J. Patel

Very quiet and clean temple. Enough parking. Good place for Engagement and small ceremonies.

Roy

Very neat and well placed idols to easy access. All staffs are very humble. They perform all type of Hindu Puja and celebrate festivitals grandly.

Nidhi Chauhan

Beautiful mandir with good management! Always love visiting????

singh singh

We went there . Good nice place. The senior lady sitting on chair kept watching us entirely throughout the hall. We felt like telling her you come for Pooja not to watch others walk or what they do! Indians have the bad habit. Stop staring mind your business do your prayers devition sadhana tapysa or whatever. Other than that we will come during service. Let's see.

Nidhi Dewan

Great place of worship and the idols of the deities are very beautiful and decked up tastefully. What caught my attention was the Shri Ganesha Idol that was on the front balcony of the temple. I wish I could take a closer look, but no way to get up there. The Shivalya was huge and shivling loaded with flowers. They have a huge collection of plants like Tulsi, Banana Leaf Tree and young Neem Tree. I just wish I could see Sai Baba's idol there too.

Dheeran Shankar

This is super place I very enjoy the culture and all the nice decoration. It feels like my home temple back in India in Jaipur. Very recommend place????????????????

Pradnya Kakade

Beautiful place to be, every idol there gives u peacefulness . The centre organizes many events every month,so celebrating the festivals here makes u feel at home

Ankur Gandhi

The most amazing temple in all of GTA! Very organized and they offer many classes for kids and adults. They host prayer every Monday's, Tuesday's and Sunday's! The temple is very clean and pundits are very friendly.

Sanjai Singh

Great place, conveniently located in Streetsville with plenty of parking within the compound. They have an 'arti' everyday at 7pm which draws lots of people even on weekdays. During the day it is relatively empty providing an opportunity for individual prayers or meditation. Definitely worth a visit.

Prashant Dc

Nice and Calm place.

Aprameya Rao

Good in theory (the temple is nicely decorated) but extremely poor service. The priest was on the phone at the entrance to the temple for over 30 mins while several people waited to talk to him. He made no indication of acknowledging us, providing temple services, or answering our questions. Very disappointing and clearly a temple and a priest that thinks selfishly and inwardly rather than in service of God and devotees

Chris Cage

Terrible organization of the vaccine pop up clinic… surprised how many people waited hours in line and were sent back .. it’s easy to calculate how many vaccines are available and how many appointments have been given..

Devender Thareja

This is one of biggest Hindu temples in greater Toronto area run primarily by public donations and volunteers. The main hall has huge skylights and have a mixed spritual vibe if Hindu gods and nature forces. Temple offers many services including Hindu festival celebrations, Yoga sessions, children's music teaching, Hindi language sessions. Most if services are free or have very minimal charges.

Srividya Commuri

Well maintained temple...though not very traditional has a huge hall and is peaceful for meditation and simply sit and let go off thoughts.... currently temple is under some renovation due to which some facilities are not accessible...but very nice place of worship

Neha Kochar

Very clean and well maintained place of worship. It brings peace to the mind. Even though we’ve moved farther, we keep coming back to this mandir instead of the Oakville mandir which isn’t so well maintained.

Om Toolika

Ancient Indian Hindu culture exhibited so beautifully with an exquisite Shivlingam...such vibrant, energetic, surreal white marble lingam as if Lord Shiva himself in trance...with his Kailash in the background..Har Har Mahadev!

renu

It is clean and beautiful. I find it peaceful, but I have only been there during the times it is not crowded. The event management is good as I have been to a wedding and some other events there.

Pratik Soni

Amazing Ganesh festival celebration and bappa Sthapna and darshan nasik dhool modak etc was so much Mumbai like. And temple darshan is really pleasing and leaves you positive wibs

Gaurav Gupta

Big gorgeous, multi god and goddess, peaceful, clean, lots of cultural activites hindu temple in missisague. I think it's open all days and their is always a priest present throughout the day to offer the services. We visited first time when we moved to this neighborhood and wanted holy services for our new car. The pujari did awesome.

Raghav Bhardwaj

One of the best Hindu Temples in and around Mississauga ???????? Great to see them following COVID guidelines stringently.

D4 Logistics

I am giving one star less because of Pritibhoj ( Langar) provided by sponsors at the end of any function or Katha. it was very embarrassing yesterday night. i visited with my guest from India. They gave only one roti in plate and there is no one to serve to people sitting in lines if they need more Roti or vegetable. you can not line up all the way again after 100 people to get roti or vegetable. So we returned home half eating and cooked food again at home. i will visit there again because temple has very positive energy. Very nice temple. Pundit ji has very good nature. i will never stay for Pritibhoj or Langar.

Sumeet Sachdeva

Beautiful temple & felt really nice .. must visit.. I will keep on visiting ???? ????

Tanveen Kaur

It's a great cultural centre for Hindus; having a temple, an auditorium and prayer room.. It's enjoyable to go there on festivals. You feel connected to your community.

Rahul Vashisht

A good for spirituality and good delicious food (langar)

Vency K

One of the most peacfull place in Ontario ???????????? ????Har Har Mahadev ????

deary cakey

Hindi classes here are great. The mandir is beautiful and clean. The main Panditji and all the preists are friendly and approachable. The religious discourse by Panditji is always enjoyable to listen to.

KD Sharma

First class mandir! Apart from the beautiful deities there are so many activities that happen from classes that teach Indian music, dance, languages to activities for seniors that includes walking club and seniors club

Nakul Kapur

You get peace when you visit here

Ind Bahl

It is a temple. Very beautifully constructed and nicely kept. Marriage ceremonies are held here and all Hindu festivals are celebrated in this temple.

Rakesh

Beautiful architecture very nice temple to pray peacefully and to connect with your Hindu culture. It's great that it has lots of free parking too.

Akshay Gandhi

Very tranquil! Loved the atmosphere

Anju Gowda

Temple is really great, can pray and meditate. However, their parking management is really bad. People park the vehicles wherever for hours together and there is no one to manage if people are stuck for more than 30 mins without being able to go out or come in. I visited the temple yesterday during a festival, there was no parking available but i could not get out of parking as people have parked on the sides and in the driveway. There was no one to help or manage. I am not complaining about parking not being available, but the parking management. During festivals like this, they need to have some staff outside to manage the parking, so that people don't park wherever.

Rishabh Gupta

Great place to worship...feeling blessed on this night of MAHA SHIVRATRI OM NAMAH SHIVAAY

Ady Sawhney

It's a good, clean and peaceful place just off 401 and 403. All persons serving voluntarily are well mannered ????.

Srijan Srivastava

Beautiful temple with lots of space for ssitying and praying. The movement of foot traffic is also very well organized.

Neelima Sharma

Very beautiful Mandir with huge parking space and prayer hall, have experienced amazing celebration of all hindu festivals in this temple. Other than festival days also, it's a wonderful Mandir.

Anshul Agrawal

Loved the temple and ambience. Its very big and have all deity idols. Temple is really very beautiful and very accessible from 401. Like to visit again.

har pra

Nice temple with big hall at lower level for any small party. Parking at rear side. Great place to learn hindu culture.

Sandeep Bavdekar

It is more than a temple. It is a place providing information regarding hindu traditions and culture. Messages regarding icons of Hinduism are interesting. Posters depicting messages about spirituality are also put up. A single temple depicts idols of several Hindu deities and gods: Ram, Suryadev, Krishna, Vishnu, Durga, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Shankar, Parvati and Ganpati among others. A big hall is used for gatherings and discourses. There is a huge parking place for the convenience of the devotees.

rohit narula

Peaceful and clean. If you are planning to attend aarti, make sure you check the timing on the website since it changes depending on the day.

Suruchi Tandia

Been visiting HHC for last many years. Peaceful and calm experience. I feel connected and grounded. A must visit.

Sunil Arora

Very nice and grand temple a must vidt place if you are in GTA area

kashyap desai

I visited many temples in GTA but this is I found Best temple in Toronto???? their activities are remarkable.

Chetan Kuppa

10 people allowed at a single time due to Covid restrictions. They are doing a great job given the present circumstances.Just take care to wear warm clothes as you may have to wait for longer times in the lineup outside especially during weekends and festivals.

Vini Malik

0ne gets possivity calm ND serene atmosphere. U can talk to all God's here. Om namo shivai.

Jovanna Ramlakhan

Great temple with proper COVID distancing rules. It is nice and peaceful during the day and the pundits are always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their store is great and offers a lot of scriptures and puja materials.

Ananth Krishna

I love the place for all reasons to preserve our culture. I bring my kids here to learn and go there occasionally to pray on auspicious days. The only issue I have is the sound in the temple during any event is ear splitting. We just cannot sit there and have to leave. It actually impacts our ears hearing at such high volume in a closed space. Not sure who controls that or help put some volume control. when kids are in the classes, it becomes just unbearable and they sometimes just can't hear anything that's going on in the class.

R M

Very Peaceful and well organized ????????

Vivek Jain

One of the best Hindu temple in GTA. Very clean, respectful people, maintaining social distancing and rules during pandemic.

Tejal P

We had been here and the place is very serene. The temple area is very peaceful. It is well managed. Inside the temple there is a room to place shoes and coats. There is a beautiful Tulsi plant inside. They sell puja items inside and all the proceedings go to the temple development. I would highly recommend to visit this place.

sangita sindhwani

Peace of mind! Been coming for years...4 stars currently due to construction and dust but temporary; great vibes and Hanuman chalisa on Tues is esp. Awesome!

manish sharma

One of the best Hindu temple in Canada. Peace for all people

Indrasen Kanaujia

One of the best temple I visited in Mississauga. Ample of space and peaceful environment. But very sad to share this experice that staff working there are the one of the worst people ever came across in Canada. No manners, eiticate to talk with people. Request to management members/owners to explain there staff that community centers are for people not by the people. If the staff does not has manners how to treat people then they take some classes or attend seminars on public behaviour.

Deeps

What a great way of celebrating the Hindu Heritage month. 120 Fresh dinner thalis were cooked and packed for our international students at Sheridan. They were personally delivered . Very thoughtful and a great way of showing gratitude. God bless !
