REVIEWS OF Heritage Mississauga (Mississauga Heritage Foundation) IN Mississauga

Love

Wonderful place to visit to learn about Mississauga, 6 th largest city in Canada. Nice exhibitions, lot of rich history and heritage of Mississauga to discover at this great place. It’s nice to stop for a moment and think about old times when so many different nationalities settled in Mississauga one of the most diverse cuties in the world. Probably people from every country on the Globe live in Mississauga but Native People settled here first. Mississauga was the name of sub tribe of the First Nation and beautiful city we are so fortunate to live in was named after that tribe. On the Native language of Mississauga tribe (Misi-zaagiing) means (those who live) in GREAT RIVER MOUTH. Just mesmerizing to learn about the history and to see charming reminders of many cultures that gave their contributions and played a vital part in the past to built a beautiful city we live in. Everybody who lives in Mississauga should come to learn about heritage and pay tribute to those who came before us and contributed so much so we could continue giving our contributions and live in fantastic city of Mississauga-GREAT RIVER MOUTH one of the nicest and most diverse cities in the World we are so lucky to live in.

Why Sauga doesn't promote their cultural sites is beyond me. This place is well-kept and full of resources for Mississauga history. There is even a space for art displays. Everyone there was happy to answer my questions and provide information for getting to know more about the long history of this city. Great resouce and a beautiful place as well.

We hosted a small team offsite here. The staff were incredibly friendly, the setting was truly unique, and we ended up getting some great history on Mississauga (not to mention some pretty cool ghost stories too). Kelly was very accommodating and Matthews history stories were very educational and entertaining. I’d highly recommend this place for a small group to get away from the typical boardroom
