Went here for a photo shoot - it's perfect, with a wide variety of background scenery, trees, etc. There's also a nice hiking/ski trail accessible from the parking lot.

A community ongoing project by the residents for the residents! Pour la communauté!

Beautiful museum in a small town with rich history. Fun fact, my grandmother Cécile Mulaire (Gagnon) is the creator of Bicolo, a cartoon character that was found I the French weekly newspaper La Liberté pictured here ♡

We visited the Sugaring off festival (Maple Syrup festival) today at the St-Pierre-Jolys Museum. It was a great pleasure to taste those sugar sweets made in snow. Great food and nice people here! All the volunteers were so nice and welcoming.

Not far to go outside of Winnipeg we were very impressed by the knowledge and information shared by the volunteers about the region and the history of the town. And a real little gem of a restaurant insode the museum itself is well worth the visit.

The best for historical value with the convent built in 1899, great venue with their hall and beautiful yard and added features such as the Maison Goulet, métis house and front store displays.

Went to see a play by playwright Allison Palmer. The play was awesome and the food catered by Lucky Luc's with chef Colin Mcfarlane was outstanding! The play was about multiculturalism and the food spanned the globe!! Kuddos to the catering staff and the playwright!! Awesome evening!

Peter Dolman

Great small town museum. Lots of interesting artifacts give you an insight into early French-Canadian life. The Sugar Shack has wonderful maples syrup "on ice". For a small museum, they sure do put on a lot of events - music, culture, food. They have it all.
