The tour guide was very knowledgeable with excellent facts and tidbits about history. He was engaging to the kids on tour as well, letting them feel the furs and try on RCMP jackets!

It's a great place to learn about local history. How Lethbridge got started, and the history of Southern Alberta. They have fun events and activities as well. We went once during the cannon demonstration and it was amazing. My kids enjoy the tour of the fort. The trading room with all the furs in it is pretty cool.

Oh this was such a great experience, I have lived here for 4 yrs and never been. A friend from Cranbrook BC came to visit and wanted to see some things here. I was bringing her to see the High Level Bridge, and noticed the fort was open. So in we went, paid only $21.00 for both of us. We listened to a short movie, got a guided tour (Thanks Harrison), had a bit if a break in the large Teepee(Thanks Blanch for sharing your life experience), and took a horse and buggy ride. This truly was a great day, got amazing pictures to share, it was one of the best afternoons.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fun and interesting recreation of the old trading fort. A 20 minute guided wagon ride, and tour were both included in the entrance cost, and they're both great. You really need to do the tour to appreciate the place.

What a great experience and look back at history. Our wagon ride with 2 Clydesdale horses was the highlight with Cathy our tour guide. Great to go with kids, activities like writing with a quill pen, candle dipping and fresh made Bannock. A big park surrounds the fort so you could easily pack a lunch, there is also a playground nearby.

(Translated) Interesting to discover the history. Fully furnished fortress, very nice. (Original) Interessant om de geschiedenis te ontdekken. Compleet ingericht fort, erg leuk.

I was really impressed by the interpreters, the accuracy of the fort, and especially the value you get out of a $10 tour... I'd highly recommend fort whoop up to anyone visiting or locals who haven't been in a while.

A replica of a frontier fort. Advertised having Bannock cooking and actors reliving the era on Thursday night; saw 3 men dressed as cowboys and only one was telling tales about the fort. A waste of time and $10 admission to see falsely advertised activities and views of basic collections of badly replicated tools and buildings. I wrote this review so you won't waste your time.

It was a step back in time and a look into the rich history of Southern Alberta. Educational and interactive, reasonably priced, and there were plenty of activities and events throughout the day.

Gift shop lacked art and art work by locals, Indigenous locals, and the stuffed animal selections wasn’t impressive. Lots of great book options. Exhibition cites some cool history, but wished there was more Indigenous content and historical accuracy in respect to truth and reconciliation and colonization. Went on horse ride which was fun: you go around the parking lots of the park.

Very good representation of 1870's whiskey trading fort. Although not the whole story it does capture many details of day to day life. The tour was excellent, especially our guide Maia (sp?). She was knowledgeable, answered all questions from our group and really made the experience better. Definitely recommend this when visiting Lethbridge, Ab.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon or evening with family in Lethbridge. We went on a Thursday and there was a trader tales program going on. It’s educational and informative and interactive experience for children. There was a campfire and sharing of stories over bannock and jam. Also the ice cream is delicious. They give liberal amounts of it! ????

This place is super cool! I got an old fashion recipe for beans, seen a whole bunch of awesome stuff like jail cells and mountie uniforms, got to write with a quill pen. Rode in a horse and buggy, took a tour that way. The little shop in it is a bit pricy but they had really cool fur hats and stuff. Great place for a day out spend an few hours have a picnic in the beautiful areas around the fort you wont be disappointed .

Ashley Linfield

It was a great day to try it out; Canada day was free admission. The cookie decorating station for Canada day was cute, and the staff were amazing, but it's kind of boring, and smaller than I thought.

Super awesome tour for everybody. What I really appreciate is the tell it as it is guided tour. They don't sugar-coat the past and hide the shameful acts our ancestors committed. Great educational moment for the next generations.

This is not the location of the original Fort. Some how, the Galt Museum has monopolized the name and actual location. This Galt version is much more accessible and definitely worth the visit. Nothing left of the original one anyway.

Nice paths to walk around.

Another amazing place in Southern Alberta. Fort is great to visit and the railway bridge very dramatic.

We had so much fun at this attraction and the wagon ride was so worth it! The wagon dirver took so much extra time with our kids to show them her animals and share the history of the area - it really made our time in Lethbridge special! We will be going back again next time we visit as we didn't get a chance to see everything.
