Really cool experience. We stumbled upon it during our weekend adventures and it was well worth stopping by. The owner took us on a tour of his amazing collection. He's very knowledgeable and his enthusiasm rubbed off on us!

Laurie Atkins

This was well worth the afternoon. Allen gave us a personal tour of the collection. We went in knowing very little about the clock manufacturing and sales industry in Canada but came out having a greater appreciation for these timeless pieces. As well as some other treasures along the way.

Very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide, generous with his time. Beautiful clocks, with the added bonus of hearing antique record players on the guided tour. Highly recommend!

Allan Symons has assembled a wonderful collection of timepieces. Also has a great library. A real treat. We spent two hours marvelling at his knowledge and clocks from various Canadian manufacturers. Favourite clocks were the tramp clock, ball bearing clock and long case clock from the midget mansion in Montreal. Thank you, Allan.

Allan is very knowledgeable and a great curator. In my opinion this is the best museum in the Ottawa Valley, if you have the time, it's a MUST SEE!

James Murphy

Absolutely AMAZING Museum! A must see for those passing through Deep River! Went right at the opening and were the only group there so we got a fully guided tour and it was amazing! Allan - the curator and manager - is so knowledgeable about clocks and has the enthusiasm required by one running such a niche museum. The clocks are gorgeous and really make you notice something you might otherwise overlook. There are also music pieces and it is fantastic. Please go and support such an integral Canadian sight.

An eclectic treasure. One man's retirement passion project: a wide array of Canadian clocks and clock items. Quite the sight and worth the stop off of the Trans Canada.

This museum is an amazing place. Allan was very accomodative and kind. He stayed way beyond the closing hours, just to make sure we had the chance to visit. If the opening hours doesn't fit your schedule, take the time to email Allan, and the chances are pretty height that you will find a moment, if you are ready to be accommodative too. The visit was extraordinary, there is A LOT of clocks and some others old stuff like cameras. The explanations about the clocks were very instructive, and Allan was very paying attention to us, giving explanations and facts about every clocks that seems to interest us more, in addition to his "general" presentation. I am more than happy to have stopped by and I recommend this place very much. This is worth it. * The visit takes about one hour.

A must see, treasure of Canada. Situated in what was once a small church, I did not think it would be as awesome as it turned out to be. Wonderfully put together and informative tour guide. I would definitely revisit.
