Phenomenal!!!

We had a wonderful time exploring this museum, learning about the history of the Mennonite people. The museum is well organized and very informative. The Mennonite Heritage Society upstairs provide an excellent service to people of Mennonite heritage in researching their family history.

Kurt Wie s

Cant recommend it enough. Some real truth and culture are there. Yiu come to know what people can sacrifice for God and how horrible others can be to people of faith.

Emerald Shih

Very well organized, excellent displays of the Mennonite history, through it, you can also understand a bit about the medieval and Fraser valley history.

Peter Thurley

A really interesting museum looking at the history and beliefs of the Russian Mennonites. Mennonites suffered terribly under the cruel hands of Josef Stalin, many dying in two separate man-made famines. Much like other migrants fleeing persecution, these Mennonites weren't always welcome in Canada.

Henrique Fernandes

Is just so cool to get to know more about the Mennonite culture and how they influenced the Christianity history. If come to Abbotsford this museum is definitely the right place to go and visit ????

Nicole P

Went on a school trip, thought it was interesting. Volunteers there were very informative.

The history of the Mennonites is well-organized for a self-guided tour, and there is someone standing by to answer questions. (The food is delicious.)

This is a fantastic historical contribution to Abbotsford, funded by a generous donor. The cafe had very reasonably priced Menno desserts too! I will definitely be hanging out there on occasion when working remotely.

Lea De Leo

It was such a lovely place to learn about the Mennonite people. The staff were so welcoming and wanted to get to know guests as they came in. There was a lovely coffee shop with several things to enjoy as well! The fee is by donation, the staff are just there to educate????

Henry and Agnes Wiebe

We visited this museum on our return trip to Victoria. What a lot of Mennonite history they have on display; actually 500 years worth! It was a delightful experience to spend a couple of hours (not nearly enough time) browsing the detailed information. This is a must for anyone interested in our background or anyone wanting to know more about the Mennonite journey through the centuries of seeking to follow our Lord Jesus Christ!

Kathy Wiebe

It was very interesting. Lot's of reading. More historical items might have been nice but if it's not donated, how would they have it.

Great place to learn about Abbotsford City's rich Mennonite heritage!

Warren McFaul

Beautiful clean facility

JK Reimer

My only complaint is the very limited menu. Oh, and coffee was sub-par. But the exhibits were really well done, if a little basic with the level of information. A good addition might be to contrast Mennonite beliefs with other protestant groups to make clear how courageous the Anabaptists were and are.

Herbert Regier

Need time to go through all the displays. Lovely coffee shop with Mennonite pastries.

Marlin Riegsecker

Lisa Torikka

Peter Zimmerman

Very eye opening to see what a people's had to endure.

This building was purpose built to house the museum. There is a lot of history contained in this little building of the Mennonite people and their journey. In December they host a Christmas Market and offer live entertainment. The vaulted ceilings are wonderful for this and the sound is amazing. There is also a nice little coffee shop where you can sit and visit after exploring the museum.

Great museum, the staff were very helpful.

Gerry Willms

Useful and articulate summary of history of Mennonite faith and culture ... although not geared for those who are not prepared to stand and read the display boards. Visitors with some connection to their Russian ancestry will be rewarded with insights into their own background. This is a relatively new museum and deserving of a visit. Didn't sample anything at the cafe however the food appeared appealing and affordable
