REVIEWS OF Kildonan Park Outdoor Pool IN Kildonan

Great place! Very popular.

Preet Chawla

Good clean pool. Be ready for lineups on hot summer days. One less star as city of Winnipeg reduces number of lifeguards on duty at 4:00 PM which reduces the capacity of the pool and waterpark significantly leading to longer lineups.

Shayna Meade

Really nice pool. Very big, clear water. Has a splash pad that's really cool, two slides, and three diving boards. 4 stars because I wish the deep end was better spaced out so you can swim more without worrying about being jumped on. Long walk to get to it from main. The park itself has a confusing layout, so watch for landmarks.

Robin

Extremely fun and casual place. Clean and organized area and the pool is very well maintained. Good location for a walk and excersise. I would recommend it!!

Jaime Chinchilla

Great place but to small for the many people than want to use it. It is always crowded and with big lineups.

Connie Olimb

Such a fun place. Beach entry pool waterslides & Awesome splash pad

Jayehem's CUBE

Kid friendly pool!! Your kids will love it.

Dav1d Brad1ey

I really like spending time at this pool with my clients, but the registration for booking times are ridiculous. It took almost half an hour to take down my information and get me booked in. Last time the pool was nearly empty, yet they had a full booking slot so we couldn't get in. I found the staff rude at times.

Karl Hollinshead

Great place in the city for a hot day. Kids have a blast, and lots of staff to keep them safe, hot weekend days expect a line up so try get there early.

Alejandro Sanchez

Very fun

Jessica Holt

One of the better out door pools in Winnipeg the only down side is there doesn't seem to be alot of parking

Alona Plis

Great for families, many structures for kids to play.

ETHAN SCHJERNING

A worker named Hannah was directing me. She was very disrespectful and rude, while she kept us out of the pool for absolutely no reason. Very bad customer service. DO NOT go to kp pool.

Dino Apostolopoulos

It's really convenient to have both a splash pad and be pool together. The pool has a "slanted" entrance to so you can walk in from ground level without stairs. This is great for younger kids so they can find a safe\comfortable water level.

Staff are great and friendly. Everything is well looked after. Kids love the slides and splash pad. The place is clean.

Marina Havard (Marishinka)

Want the cap coy tone restored. We have such a short summer. We use to go swimming for the day now it’s two hours.

aaronofkovir

Cool lifeguards, Deep deep end and a bunch more.

Макс Артемов

good

Danielle Verrier

Great for all ages. Big splash features and beach entry are great for babies and toddlers.

Robert Lapeire

Just a fair warning that if you attend or want to attend the Kildonan Park Pool or Splash Pad.....It has turned into a "Meeting of the Karens". It was grossly over crowded and people weren't pre-registered. The worst part is some of the adults were even getting pushy with kids. The first couple weekends was fine but its just overrun by Karens female and male alike. The staff are great but they need to put their feet down. Women please keep in mind what you are wearing and make it appropriate. This is a family facility. Other than that its fun and has lots to offer.

Odette Maury

It's a safe place for little ones. Nice staff!

Karl Bruggeman

Very nice park with washrooms walking paths and ducks. In the summer there is a restaurant and ice cream shop. The witches hut sells corn for the ducks. Do not feed ducks bread, it is bad for them.

Aaron Merke - In Character

We try to go in earlier time slot to avoid the rush and crowds

Anahí Villacrés

You have to make a reservation, it is better if you do it online.

sherene Mc

It's a beautiful park so happy with all the changes that have been made very proud to take visiting family there now

Mahyar Mirrashed

One of the best outdoor swimming pools and splash pads in Winnipeg. Two excellent waterslides. Three diving boards—each at one meter in height and two updated play structures right outside of the entrance. Due to capacity limits, you might encounter long lines on the weekends. Overall, a great place for a hot summers day.

Ted V

We love this pool. I only wish it could be open all year, but we can't control the climate. Heated water makes it much nicer and the splash pad is awesome.

Ray Mackintosh

Great place for the fam. Great prices...loads of room. Great place bdays and family getotogethers

Gerry Charriere

The family pass was very affordable. We arrived at 11 am and waited about 10 mins to get in. It was very crowded. They really need to have large signage that explains the rules about having to swim laps to get a wristband etc. I’ve never been to a pool with such strict rules. I think it’s silly that kids with life jackets have to swim 2 laps to go down the slide which is in pretty shallow water. I remember the days when parents would catch their kids. Staff were ok. I do like that there is a staff at the top of the slides who tells the kids when they can go. I hate when kids go too soon and trample another kid. Unfortunately there was a “fouling” after about an hour of our arrival. The pool and splash pad had to be cleared out. We were told it would be closed for 2 hrs. I understand no refund but I would suggest a stamp on the hand that gets you re entry that day. Was happy that we could bring in coolers with food. They could use more patio chairs. Consider bringing a picnic blanket you won’t regret it. I found when playing with the kids in the splash pad I almost slipped a few times on spots that had dirt. Not sure if it was just me so just a heads up. It is a huge bonus having the amazing play structures right outside. That’s probably the best feature. Needless to say I don’t think we will return. Will stick to birds hill beach and non city pools.

I wish the pool stayed open longer especially in the summer but overall it's a nice place for families to have fun

Steve Redl

Great outdoor pool for all ages!

Matt B

Went with the family to enjoy the pool on a hot day. The pool is large and has plenty of space to distance and move around, as well a couple water slides. They could put up some signs upon entering the parking to make navigation easier. Parking didn't make any sense, signs all indicated "No Parking" but people were in those spots...had to drive around until I found a parking lot because it's not indicated anywhere that you can park in these zones weekday/weekends.

Allen Alejandro

30°C Saturday. It's best to arrive upon opening by 10am. Easy to find a good parking spot. No entrance line ups and you can choose your best spot from numbers of table sets on the pool side or grass area. We chose to sit in between the spray pad and the pool. There are available reclined chairs, kids' floater vests, and toy floaters to use. The water is very clean and not crowded in the morning. Since there's not much people, you can enjoy longer time and there's less chances of kids throwing up in the water. That happened today at around 2pm. Good thing we were packing up our things when the active onsite life guards ordered everyone to get out of water and closed the facility for the rest of the day. We brought our wagon loaded with snacks and in-cooler drinks. However, there are vendo machines for pop and chips. Sorry, i did not try the slides and diving boards. But there are short to none line ups. Lockers are located in the big washroom/shower/changing rooms. We enjoyed the good spray pad structures and the beach entry kiddie side pool.

Grace

I enjoy the place this winter for my photo taking ????

Real fun place for the family. Has a splash pad and medium size water slide. A true gem of this park.

Alia Computers

Clean and nice. Need to book online, don't go if you don't book. It has a limited capacity. My kids enjoyed the place too much.

Slack 29

Life guards have been great and alert, has always been enough room for my family to have a great time... We bring a lunch, snacks and stay for hours

Matt Iverson

Nice pool , gets packed quick in hot days and lots of bugs like mosquitoes and spiders

Carla Fletthccfbm t

Awesome place to take your children for swimming and a bbq afterwards :)

Natalee Wilson

Offers a wide variety of options for outdoor activities. My kids are never bored at the play structures.

Maria Garcia

We love going to Kildonan Park swimming pool. The slide is a lot of fun for bigger kids, while the little ones can enjoy the splash pad. We take our own food or snacks for a picnic too.
