To this day this business has a score of 4 over 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is very high, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the score is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Great place to relax & watch a movie????
Great ambience
Nice theatre. Clean and we'll kept with nice staff. Later showings tend to have few people so you get your pick of seats.
I really enjoyed this theater, and the layout is great! My only concern is that the wheelchair lift has been broken for quite some time. People living with disabilities would really like to be able to see the movie too...
Average theater. Nothing special about the place. They should get an arcade going in there again.
Quiet theatre, lots of room. Comfortable seats
i'm giving only 2 stars because i went to see Shazam! (2019) and the movie was interrupted 5 times. a group of teenagers, (roughly 16-17) started yelling, making it hard to watch the movie, and then, the POWER went off, once the power turned ON, it wasn't for another 20 minutes until the next thing happened, the AUDIO cut out. the problem got fixed 10 minutes after everyone going to the manager for a REFUND. and then, the screen froze. it just froze. no context to why it froze, but it FROZE. after all that, during the credits, the AUDIO cut out a SECOND TIME. After the end we got free tickets to any movie we want, but i am still unhappy at the poor experience.
Good cinema. Friendly staff.
Great place to watch great movies
The seats are comfy & the popcorn is good!
Nice to have a movie theater still in a mall .. but needs upgrading...
Movies in full screen - great seating
Shout out a worker at the counter, holly o! Very friendly and really helpful! I hope they appreciate her!
Lovely theater and staff just wish they had those new avx chairs plus bigger screens
Saw Joker. Interesting take on his beginning. Theater great as always. Comfortable seats. Good selection of food and tasty.
This theatre has the weakest projection bulbs that I have seen. They definitely need to upgrade to better bulbs as the scenes are way to dark and if you have 3d glasses on it is even darker taking away from the viewing experience.
Tuesday nights are the best. I love the KP location
Love the VIP
Great experience but not the cleanest theater
Nice place, only downside is they charge you for flavor on your popcorn & for butter, so your $7 popcorn ends up being $9.
Kms
I like this theater because it's local and shows all the most popular films. It's easy to get tickets online and in-person here and the parking is great. It's also easy to take the bus here if you have friends who use transit. But it is rather bare-bones compared to the Polo Park theater and could use some more cleaning in the seating area.
Great theatre
Amazing service and a great set of theatres
Good theatre. A little smaller than some.
Great area, comfortable seats and relaxing atmosphere. lots of parking as well!
Had a great time. Nice & clean with reclining seats :)
Cozy theatre with friendly staff and as always I love the popcorn
Always a fun experience
Theaters outdated, seats uncomfortable. Staff suggested paying for tickets separately to get more points and after doing so couldn't even use to points to get the drink and popcorn combo free. Was told it takes 24 hrs for the points to be available for use. Was disappointed the staff misled me as a customer. Employee offered to charge for reg sizes but give large and throw in free candy. Ended up paying for $7 bag of MnMs and not getting any free candy.
Movie specials
Nice place. Pity they don't have IMAX
Not one of the better theaters in town. The seats are quite crowded and not very comfortable. The screens are on the smaller size. Washrooms and even the lobby are a little grubby, even before the earlier showings. Food and beverage options are quite limited compared to most of the other Famous Players locations.
Theaters are good. The big one is great. Prices are normal, but I like the policy of replacing spilt popcorn and drinks. No questions asked. Also having the concessions be able to do everything, serve food and drinks, buy tickets, redeem vouchers. It fantastic. I use my phone for everything and they can scan all my stuff from it.
Great little theatre.
Bathrooms are nasty! Venting has not been cleaned in waay over 9 months, i have pictures from a year ago full of dust and thats what we breathe everytime we see a movie there. Fast service though and i have never had a movie sold out on me and seatS are clean. Ok bathrooms are still nasty! Venting still clogged and full of dust and gods knows what else....it is novemeber 19th now.2016. What year are they gonna clean?
Overpriced popcorn and drinks and lousy seats
Starting to show its age. Needs a renovation
New theater is being built and definitely needs it.
Can you please mop the floors in the theatre seating area....very dirty and smelled....otherwise all is good.
Good enough theatre. Smaller screens but you can usually find non 3d showings of popular movies here.
Smaller theater and screen size. Handicap seating at the rear made it much more convenient and comfortable for my client with autism. Overall a good experience
Should play bollywood movies as well. International movies from all over the world should be included.
Big theater
Very clean and very comfy Theatre, Never crowded as much as the theatres here in the city, but i love going to it because its close by, plus its never packed. ever
They spit in my corn popped fries.
Well this is my local cinema and to be honest compared to st vital and polo park this is the worst one in town. I say that because the employees look like idiots, they only have six theatres when sliver city has way more, this theatre only has 2d and 3D not dbox imax and ultra avx, so this theatre sucks hard
Cute
Rather expensive for two adults to go see a movie. With tickets, drinks and popcorn, you will be possibly be spending $ 80.00 - $100.00.
This is a smaller theater but that's not necessarily a bad thing for a lot of people. The seats are very comfortable and there's plenty of legroom. They get most of the more popular movies so you could probably go once a week and see something current. It's a well run place and you see people putting in the effort to keep it clean. They should check the trash cans in the theaters themselves though as the one in ours was full but I found another one in the lobby. It's a solid operation.
Good.
It's not the biggest screen in the city, it doesn't have the most seats, but Kildonan Place has some comfortable seating and tends to be much less crowded than the bigger theatres.
it's the pictures 5 stars
Never crowded, older seating style no stairs to climb.
Very dirty and small screens.
It is a "ok place" some movies have a low sound (even 3d) and you may have difficult to hear. Also you can not book the seats and some people love to put the feet on the front chair. Need serious modernization from the interiors and the exterior. The price is ok, but high for the quality of the theatre. Didn't yet try to popcorn and can not talk about it. Bathroom was ok, nothing to add.
Not a huge cinema but it a nice place
Very clean and nice
Interesting
Went to see Bohemian Rhapsody and really loved the movie. Kildonan Place Famous Players theater has more intimate sizes of theaters. I find this to be beneficial not so many people getting up and down and blocking your view.
This theatre needs a major remodeling and the sound quality sucks. But the movies are at least up to date and the staff are friendly most of the time
Good exp. Not to crowded easily accessible found right in mall on the north east sidei
Had the whole theater for just myself and my girlfriend! Great experiance. Also 3d Fantastic Beasts was amazing
Not quite as fancy as Scotiabank theatre, but more often than not there are only a few people in the theatre with you. Also you won't have to deal with the crowds and lines that the bigger theatres have.
I'm sitting here being forced to watch commercials for 10 freaking minutes. I already paid for the movie!
Friendly staff. Seemed a bit rushed but great service all around
Always a great place to see first run movies, especially during open weeks of a movie. It is the theatre people forget about. I find it always clean with friendly staff.
Frustrated. Music from the next theatre was so loud .. hard to hear some parts of the movie we were watching
They need some bigger screens... But it's a nice theatre
Not the most incredible screens but very clean and good options for food. Large variety of movies as well and new movies come out immediately.
Friendly staff, very clean. Social distancing respected
Went and bought a food combo and was supposed to get a free cineplex store free rental in my email and never recieved it
Nice movie theater, I have taken my family out for movies at this location many times. Like always, concession prices are high.
Free guy was great. Fresh buttery popcorn
Me and a buddy farted behind a couple girls one time. 10/10 would fart again. Theater was pretty good, too.
John Wick 3. Awesome.
I had not been here in years. As a child I loved it, however before my most recent visit the few times I had gone over the years it was in disrepair at least seemed to be, a almost perpetual filth had built up. However with this visit my wife and I took our child here for his first theater experience. Upon entering it was nice to see the entrance had not changed much at all aside from looking cleaner. Overall the look remains the same but cleaner. Watching Frozen 2 for our child's first theater experience we where happy. No technical issues complimented with a very friendly staff it was great experience. However as someone who is over six feet and my wife being right around there. I find the only issue is the leg room.
It's starting to feel pretty run-down and dated but it's a good theater for opening night movies because you can show up 45 minutes before the movie starts, on opening night and still get decent seats without spending too much time waiting.
While a smaller location, our experiences have been good. Popcorn seems fresh and the staff is great.
It's open! It's at the mall...KP.
Too crowded but the staff was nice following COVID protocols
It's a theater. That's for sure.
The seats are weirdly uncomfortable
Awesome movies in 3D especially The Croods! The fire sparks look so real like they are flying above me in the beginning!
It's unfortunate this theatre has the worst popcorn in the city as this is the one I frequent the most, due to the proximity near my home.
Concession staff were very helpful with my education on my scente points ! Thank you!
Not the greatest theater in town but the price is usually cheaper than most.

Friendly staff members
I don't remember this place but it was cool
Old school flat style theater. Surprised at how busy it was. Movie was good quality considering.
Movies, Snacks and Drinks. What more can you ask for..?
Theater is small but nice, I just find that the food prices are absurd.
Falling apart but never full.
I really like the assign seats. It's been a long time since I had to wait outside for a Star Wars movie.
Ok could be better. This theatre only has 3D and 2D. That’s all. But that’s ok. I watched Turbo here.
Good theater
The perfect movie theater.
We went at 10am to see Ralph breaks the internet. There is nobody in the theater with us we were the only ones there. Which was awesome. The movie was awesome. The movie theater was clean. The staff that served us are popcorn and scanned our tickets were very awesome. I love that SilverCity I'll be definitely taking my family back again to see a another movie.
Kildonan place theaters could use an upgrade. but i get that its a small location. its definitely better then it used to be. ill still go here for a movie every now and then as its close by. but there are better theaters in the city.
Good
Wonderful staff, beautiful movie qualities
For a theater that probably hasn't changed since sometime in the mind 90s, I still enjoy going there. Have a lot f good memories of going to movies with my mom, step dad and siblings. Its also really close to home too. My one complaint is having to walk around the mall to get to my bus after the mall closes.
Love it
Great theater
Recently renovated and no problems finding parkinng.
Great casual movie theater
Enjoyed the movie. Seats could have been more comfortable and more dining selections would help
The popcorn is very burnt, not very much butter. The man at the front was very disrespectful towards me when I was asking about the movie. He told me he doesn’t know in a very rude tone and also told me to hurry up. The manager was also no help when I asked about the movie, he had the same explanation as the guy at the front. Please do not come here.
Great service yummy popcorn
Movie theatre with smaller theatres to see movies at.
Staff is very fast to clean up and are very friendly
its a run of the mill theater. Sticky floors , bathrooms that don't get cleaned enough and average costs on concession. There is better in the city for a comparable cost. The screens are nice and the sound is crazy loud so if you don't care about the rest its a easy go.
Bring your own food .they charge a warm and a leg for their drinks and food.
Went to see Star Wars on Dec 26. Theater was practically empty but a little messy and average for comfort. Seats and theater a little dated but still not too bad. Easy to get in and out and parking was easy.
Very nice and clean
I would rather get stabbed downtown again then sit through another movie in the disgusting greasy movie theatre. I give it a 3 out of 5 for the only reason that it's better then nothing but the owners should really start hiring better staff keep up maintence a little better. And close it for a week just to clean up and fix this place up. i remember being a kid and going there and what it use to be like but now it's just gone down hill due to poor management and most likely cheap owners not wanting to put the money in to improve this place. Me and my friends were disappointed by the place, but the seats are nice when they aren't covered in old soda and gum. Took a hot shower after I got home.
Nice leg room between seats
They have good movies
Bathrooms smelled awful like urine. Movie lines for concessions were very slow.
Great place!!!
sonic movie gud
Needs an upgrade, it's old and outdated. Also there is wheelchair lift and 3 sets of stairs so if you have trouble getting up stairs, small children or you are handicapped. You're out of luck. They really should convert a set of stairs to a ramp.
Regular theatre. Not very comfortable though.
Is a good theatre
This theatre really needs improving. The chairs are horrendous for one. I would say its only clean about half the time i go there and theres always a musky smell in the theatre. The rest of the mall has been getting an upgrade, famous players should be able to afford to do some redesigning and it would bring in more customers as well. I live right by KP but still go to polo for my movies. If you can't beat em, join em. Time for an upgrade.

Food stand closed early.
It’s good place as a theatre and even I love the fact that it’s in the mall so I shopped before the movie and it saved so much of my time.
Wonderful atmosphere, will recommend.
Excellent area with a lot of options. It could be cleaner, but as busy as it is I can see that’s tough.
Nice little theatre
arcade machines went working 100%
Very helpful staff. I was using my scene card tonredeem for the movie and snacks, for my wife, daughter and I, and they were patient in helping me.
(Translated) Great comfortable cinema! (Original) Отличный удобный кинотеатр !
Worst Theater ever. Wrong tickets given, almost missed the right show. I was mistaken on start time, the cashier never confirmed that I wanted a ticket for a movie that was almost 30 minutes in... thanks for the heads up.
The theatre is always clean, friendly service and there's a wheelchair lift too.
An older theatre, but relatively well kept. On this visit the ticket taker directed us to the wrong theatre, which caused us to miss the begining of the movie that we actually wanted to see. And lead to me watching a movie I probably would not have rented.
Awesome place to see a new movie, and never too busy.
Movie was amazing but the commercials at the start had a little trouble with the audio but otherwise awesome
Bathrooms were dirty, half the stalls didn't have toilet paper, one hand dryer didn't work. The staff were nice.
Use the app for tickets on your phone.
Comfortable and affordable
Great quality movie theater! I love going here
My neighborhood movie theatre. Clean. Affordable. Convenient. I like that it's only a 6 Plex still.
It was a very bad experience. During booking the show online, no one informed to bring a double vaccine card, and when i reached there from other part of town, i could not even get to watch the movie. I had all my time wasted there and travelling time too was wasted. They should inform the person before they come to the place. Not helpful thing at all. Not a good thing to do.
MMMMMmmmm popcorn
Good theater
Chairs rock back and forth. Super comfy. Screensize is decent. No waiting.
Not a lot of seat options but other than that it was amazing
Nice place clean
Clean & Friendly.
For me, it is close to home. Seats are comfy, good variety of movie choices. Admission prices are comparable to other theaters. The snack prices need thought!
Went to catch a late movie at the Kildonan Place mall and was 10mins late and the consession stand to buy snacks and popcorn was already cleaned out. I could not buy any popcorn for my family. Very disappointing service, what if half way through the movie someone wanted a drink or snack. There's no option. Would not come back to this theatre.
This place is really improving.
Theatre is never really busy, plus its close so it's great
Good place. Seats are comfortable enough. Quiet
Several seats are broken in the premier therater.. Assigned seating..
It’s an ok theatre. Small screens and older seating.
We went to mission impossible 3D The concession line was SLOW. Once in the theatre we put on our glasses to watch the movie. It seemed blurry. Very blurry and out of focus. My date and I put our glasses off and on. Adjusted the angle of viewing etc. It was still blurry. We asked the people behind us what they were experiencing. It was the same. My friend approached an attendant to voice our concern. They stopped the movie. Apologized for problems they had been having. Restarted the movie in proper 3D. Why, if they were having problems, would they play 2-3 minutes of a movie before recognizing there was an issue. Why wait for a customer to voice their concern. It was a very good movie. But a bad movie experience. My first movie in 20 years. I loved the seating. And the floor wasn't sticky like I remember them being in the past. I'll go back to kildonan place for another movie.
Was good pretty dated now but still was good
Great place very clean
Lots of room for seating and social distancing. The gal behind the food counter definitely gave off the vibe that she did not want to be there! Hopefully her day is better tomorrow! Otherwise, quite enjoyable. Bring a sweater, it's pretty chilly in there.
This girl ripped me off. I had a 2 for 1 coupon and the booth clerk told me the coupon was only good for one admission and doesn't cover any of the 3D fees. I thought I read the coupon wrong and after some inquiring I thought she was right. When I went home I took a look at the flyer the coupon originated from and it turns she was wrong. I should have only paid for just the 3D fee $6, not $16. Next time I'll know and request for a manager or supervisor next time someone tries to scam me. Other than that, the movie was absolutely great. But that's the movie and not the theatre. I couldn't believe, though, that I had to pay extra to have butter on my popcorn. The snacks seem more expensive than they were in previous years. It's outrageous. It's very annoying that the mall closes off the mall when movies are done after mall hours, so you have to go out the north side doors and walk all the way around, outside, to the south end of the mall to catch the bus. Make sure you don't leave your belongings in the lockers by the mall washrooms before you go to the movies, or you won't be able to retrieve them after the movie. The seats are not the most comfortable, but I don't find any theatre seat comfy, anyways. If you sit close enough to the front, some seat aisles have good leg room without hitting the seat in front of you.
The movie was excellent and the theatre was wonderful as usual
Theatre concession no longer has slushies.
Only 3 stars because of the quality of the screens is good but tiny compared to the size of the screen itself which takes away from the movie
No idea, I only passed the place, wasn't actually there. Damn Stormcloaks had something to do with this, I'm sure.
No problems about this place. Been to theaters that are much worse, this was a good experience
Old
Not the best but far from the worst. Always found it to be clean and the staff are genuine even when super busy.
It was nice to see a movie in the theatre, finally, after the covid season! Not very busy yet. I think we have all adjusted to watching movies from the comfort of home. The theatres are getting a little dated, but very clean. Washroom facilities are clean And very accessible. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Pretty good place. Not too crowded and comfortable seats. I would recommend it.
Great place, no line ups, very clean.
Save your back and go somewhere else. Seats are HORRIBLE. I had a sore back for 3 weeks after seeing a movie here. Dirty floors and tiny theatre as well. Worst theatre in Winnipeg.
When to watch transformers 5 today and the movie turned shut off 4 times and audio shut off once. Never going to go to that theatre again
Always nice being here. Staff are great, the place is clean and the seats are comfortable. I can't wait to see what the new theater will look like.
It's close to home and convenient
Run down
Nice and convenient movie multiplex theater in Winnipeg east. Less crowded than Polo Park, but for blockbusters may be sold out.
Great movie
The concession stand is a joke and poorly managed
Small but nice place
Could use some serious updates
Staff is friendly and the seats are comfortable and roomy. Too expensive for drinks and popcorn.
Went to Kildonan Place today to see the movie Lion King in 3D. Haven't been there for ages to a movie and we were eight people in the theater it was just wonderful. The concession food was also very good nice big popcorn pop and would certainly recommend it to anybody
Dirty
Selection is awesome. My first choice in theaters
3D experience was fantastic very comfy recliners.
15 minutes before the movie started the theater was still dirty from the film played prior... my friend and I were already sitting before they cleaned the place.
I went to go watch Annabelle comes home last night in theatre 2 and not all the speakers were working. Couldn't hear some of the sound effects which took away from the movie. Glad they are going to eventually get a new theatre as I was very disappointed.
Comfortable seats.
It smells like urine. And i heard there was bed bugs here. Will not return.
As always I had a great experience with the theater and staff . The popcorn was fresh and hot .
Great. Clean, staff were friendly...the movie was great.
Went to a movie here on the weekend.. screens are small, seats are uncomfortable, and the sound wasn’t loud enough for the movie I was watching. I could hear lots of sound from the movie next door, which maybe you normally wouldn’t hear if the movie you’re watching is loud enough. I’m just thankful I didn’t pay for my own ticket.. that’s probably the only way I’d go back here.
Too expensive for a family. Went there with my wife two teenage boys. After we purchased the tickets, drinks and 2 popcorns and candy, the total came to just over $90.00. Then we ended up watching about 10 commercials before watching 4 or 5 movie premiers before watching the actual movie. I don't mind watching the premiers, but the commercials seem never end. Not only that, they were the same commercials you see everyday on T.V. That is why I PVR everything. Unfortunately you feel forced to watch the commercials at the theatre. Will be letting the manager know this as well
I like the new chairs they are very comfortable can't wait to see how the new theater turns out.
I like this theater because of the location, but it's showing it's age. The concession is cramped with long slow lines (would be much more efficient with one line feeding to all cashiers ). The theater walls themselves are thin and so a particularly quiet and dramatic time in the movie was interrupted by loud action noise one theater over.
Took our grandchildren to take in a movie. Great place on Tuesdays as special pricing.
There is only one large theater at this location. All of the other theaters are fairly small and need to be updated. It does have a bit of a retro feel, which is nice, but there needs to be some changes. I'd recommend going to Polo Park or St Vital instead. There are plans to have the theater renovated in the near future, which would dramatically improve the experience at this theater.
One of the better places when it comes to cleanliness bathrooms are clean pretty quick to clean up between shows, just wish it was bigger
Went to see Ghostbusters with family. Movie was supposed to start at 5:30 and we had so many previews.. Also 4 people to see a movie is now over $100 for drinks and popcorn.
Small screen
The theater is ok, not very good compared to other places in town. The seats are not very comfortable, but the staff is very polite. This place could use a makeover ,it will be better then..
Good place
They really need to upgrade the seats... I won't go there again.
Love movies ,love popcorn
Real movies are cool!
Watched and enjoyed shazam
Nice video and audio quality and on time movie start.
Went to see Star Wars! Excellent show. Looking forward to the new building!
Theatre was tidy, line was slow
It's been awhile since we have, visited this location, very clean, great friendly staff.
It's ok could be better and a bit costly
Not as nice as some of the more modern theatres in Winnipeg; however, very convenient if you're in the Transcona area.
There was a smell in number 3
Small theater stale food unclean and ice cold viewing rooms made for an unpleasant experience.
Comfy chairs
Relaxed atmosphere
Venom.
Tiny screens, if I hadn't prepaid I would have got a refund. They leave the lights on by the doors and if you sit in the back it's horrible. Never again, my tv at home is better :(
Great place to go
The staff are friendly, helpful and do a reasonable job keeping the place clean.
Enjoyed the movie..
Needs a huge update
Good location, easy to get in and out!
Usually nice and clean
Due to a tap issue, I was double charged for a movie and concession but wasnt aware until a few days later when checking my bank account. I came in to inquire and was taken care of immediately and professionally. Problem solved! Thank you to the manager Owen for taking care of my issue!
Awesome service always
You can watch a movie at home for the convenienve but the ambience and experience is like no other at a theater. Treat someone this weekend!
Good atmosphere.very good price
Like the big screen and big sound!
New seating is great!
Older place but like that it’s not too busy.
Horrible. I remember when this place was clean and taken care of, the candy dispensers and fresh popcorn. Nowadays it's over priced candy, cold/old popcorn, dirty washrooms/theaters and lobby. No wonder why so many prefer to watch at home. Not worth spending 50$ for a movie and snacks.
Clean .good service
Good place to go if you want to watch movies in a mostly empty theater whilst sitting in old popcorn.
They were very helpful because we had not veen to a Famous Players Theater in a long time and the staff was very nice to us
Good theater and seats. Dated. Service was decent.
It's okay. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it. $8 for a medium bag of popcorn is a little much.
Good
Starting to look old and unkept. Screens are small
The screens are a bit small, but it's a quieter theater, so you often get better seats.
Very pricy can't aford to take family
Very nice
Horrible movie theater. Could hear the next movie. Waste of money.
Just watched venom in 3d holy hell the movie and 3d effects were cool
New movies and 3D
The theaters are a little dated but still comfortable. Beats having to go to St. Vital, Polo Park or Kenaston to watch a movie.
Great ambience
Date night with my mom
This theatre is not nearly as good as Silver City, and it hasn't changed one bit since the 90's. It need a major overhaul. The seats are not sloped enough - someone who is tall enough can easily block your view. They really should close it and replace it with a real Silver City. It would make it look like 2016, not 1996..
The seats are old and uncomfortable
I like this theatre. It close to home and have been coming here for many years. Brought my kids, now I'm bringing my grandkids. I'm kind of excited it's going to get a remodel. I suppose Its time as it is showing its age a bit, although it is still very clean and we'll kept. News has it it's supposed to be completed in 2020. A popcorn and a drink will run you about as much as a good meal at The Keg, so we do sneak in food, especially when we bring the three grandchildren.
Theater needs relocation to larger facilities
Gay
seats are very uncomfortable.
I was extremely disappointed with the manager Jordan today at this theatre as we drove in from Selkirk to see Logan with my daughter. When we purchased the tickets there was a warning that popped up saying children under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. Since BOTH her parents were with her we felt comfortable purchasing tickets. At the ticket booth we were grilled by the manager and then refused entry into the movie as she thought in her opinion that our daughter was under 14! We then had to wait 15 min in the concession line for a refund and to top it off we got an employee in training that didn't know how to refund Scene points. I questioned the manager further to ask where this was posted and after three times up and down the stairs she finally accompanied me to the kiosk where she insisted it was posted and it wasn't even posted!! She then had to go in the office and under the counter pulled out a pamphlet that erroneously states that the movie is not suitable for persons under 14. Nowhere does it say ENTRY WOULD BE DENIED. I can understand if was younger children who weren't accompanied by an adult but she had not one but both of her parents present with her. This manager made no attempt at an apology and did a very poor job of explaining a rule that she was enforcing. We will never return to this theatre!!
Good movie theatre
My friend and i loved the movie..popcorn was awesome got extra butter yum yum..untill the outbursts of a baby became apparent lol...can u believe it.♡ first movie in like 6 years .. WHY ? Lol..tonight of all nights. A great action packed movie Morgan Freeman my fav lol I gave it 5 stars because we were taken care of by Management. .fingers crossed. Our next visit will be a breeze. ..
Got a one star after a comment made by CAITLYN when my girlfriend was trying to decided what candy to pick from the shelves, it’s bad enough that the counter was so cluttered and dirty that she couldn’t see from above, when she bent down to look through the front glass she was told to move out of the way of customers. Btw she has very poor vision in one eye and can’t see enough as it is. Don’t think I will return as a customer, might look somewhere else for our movie nights.
Great
Good theatre
I was here while they were at 50% capacity due to covid restrictions. The tickets were bought with assigned seats. The issue was there was no control on the theaters part to ensure social distancing. So half the theater was empty yes, but that was almost entirely the front of the theater while everyone else was shoulder to shoulder in the middle. Basically defeating the purpose. Could have easily been programed to space the sold seats but didn't. Otherwise nice simple theatre.
Cheap
Great facility. Comfy seats and great service.
Great place to watch a movie
A++++
The staff were able to get the screen showing by the time the movie started after 3 parents made comments.
Had a great time
Good as always. Afternoon movies are the best. Theatre is never too busy.
I’ve always gone to Polo Park but I moved recently so i’ve been coming here. Honestly this theatre deserves 2 stars max. NO RESERVED SEATING. Dated theatre. Low quality sound. Small screens. Not adapted for these big marvel movies. Only reason they get more stars is for the lovely employee who helped my wife and I. Hats off to Katie or Kennedy or Kerry. (i’m bad with names) She really explained the menu. we thought you could ONLY BUY COMBOS. no, not the case. she made us laugh, served us fast, and apologized for things that weren’t her fault. THE SCENE CARD POINT CHANGE. NO RESERVED SEATING! best customer service experience we’ve had in a long time. Also theatres were dirty. Needs upgrade soon.
Always a good time
Great local movie spot
Old cinema, sound wasn’t good
A good place to watch a movie with family and friends.
Kp famous players really needs an update
Clean. Seats were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They ran out of hot dogs.
Great movie! Comfy seats. The theater needs a good sanitizing though
Great movie theater!
Nice smaller theatre. Been going to this one since i was a child. Newer comfortable seats and rarely busy so the lines are quick.
Enjoy my time at the famous players cinema, enjoyed the movie. Not so much the price of the food. It is way over price. To go there your looking at for 2 people movie and food close to $60.00 dollars. Not a good value.
This place has a feel of a small town theatre in a very good way. The prices seem a steep for food, but the actual theatre is kept clean and the seats are comfy.
Good theatre. Weird cup holders didn't fit the cup they sold me but I just used the floor.
Hate all the advertising i have to sit through when I've already paid to se a movie
Convenient. Good service. Good seats. Good movie. A good night out!
For the same price as a fancier theatre, you can see a movie here instead.
Very bad customer service. Manager is not helpfully and is very rude. Employee tried to help but manager asked to stop and go focus on other customers.
Went to Kildonan place theatre, it was nice and clean. Seating was comfortable.
Went to see Solo Movie it was awesome. theater is okay.
Always less busy than expected (y)
Its outdated. Needs renos but gets the job done
Very comfy
Not the best theater in the city but not the worst either!!
Bring your own drinks if you can 5 bucks a drink way over price popcorn and a drink cost more than the ticket butter extra
The staff are super friendly, clean lobby and bathrooms, seats are outdated but overall good experience.
Great for openings because you won't find a huge crowd. They do need to clean the seats soon though it smells a bit rancid in the theatres.
Very comfy place
Weird had to bye a row to social distance 4 people
Any business that uses paper straws will get a 1 star rating from me. While I understand wanting to protect the environment this product is brutal and lasts all of 30 seconds before it starts to get soggy. Get PLA straws that are just as environmentally friendly and don't break down once their in a drink. Or even better buy the sip lids for cold cups then their's no straw needed.
Fantastic night out, great place to go.
Great seat to watch all movies
Good place to watch the latest movies . No complaints
Always enjoy a good movie in a clean theatre.
Nice place. Had a good time
aside from the movie it wasnt a very good experience as the theater was just as cold as outside. Not to mention the 2 ladies behind us were vaping the whole movie. We asked for them to stop because we had 2 small children with us, they completely ignored us so i went out to the lobby and no employees were found. Love kp mall but wont be seeing movies there again.
I ordered from here through skip right before closing time and the Skip courier said they picked up the order and that it was delivered when it wasn’t.. while trying to figure it out with skip Cineplex called and apologized for the inconvenience letting me know it wasn’t their own doing and even delivered it themselves after work! Awesome service! 10/10
Super expensive
Nice little old theatre. I would go see the big summer blockbusters elsewhere. Smaller screens. old seats.
Very small but they are rebuilding so it will be better
Prices are high
Cost to much but a Nice time out.
