Love this community museum! Most of their collection is out so you can see it. Drawers can be pulled open. Great bit of local history. The museum's archives are also located here.

Fantastic little museum, and the admission is by donation. The section on native history was particularly good.

Excellent little museum - it was a great glimpse into the local history of the area. It's also surprisingly large considering it shares a building with the library and admission is by donation.

AVM is a top notch local museum. They have really great collections of local artifacts telling of the rich and diverse history of the Alberni Valley. I especially liked the ugly dolls - they can be forgiven since they were made by an elderly blind man. There's a lot more and it's definitely worth checking out!
