This historic building is the ideal location to highlight Kelowna's Wine and Orchard past and growth. The location is also wonderful venue for large meetings and events. I have had the pleasure of being involved in Fashion Shows and Wellness events along with a private showcase of Local custom furniture. This is a must see location for those interested in Kelownas past.

Amazing place! The host of many downtown events! Sadly most of Kelowna burned down in 1961 and this was one of the only buildings left. Now it’s the home to the Okanagan Orchard & Wine Museum. Plus it has a really cool courtyard in the back for an afternoon tea, or go discover local plants that flourish in their back garden. Saturday’s in the summer they host free events for youth and teach them how fruit processing was done back in the old days! Do yourself a favour and stop by, you won’t be disappointed :)

If you are a local, then you know the venue is beautiful, large and can accommodate a ton of different styles of events. Personally, we just had our wedding their, and what really blew us away was the professionalism of the staff. Couldn't have been more helpful, really made us feel welcome, and it felt like we were paying customers that deserved to be treated with respect and valued our business. Amazing experience.

The artifacts from the days of old from this region are truly a sight to behold, and it's a super family-friendly destination, with plenty of interactive components to the exhibits. Definitely worth checking out if you're a tourist, or a local just wanting to learn more about where you live.

The Laurel is such a beautiful venue space in Kelowna and brings with it such a welcoming, warm energy to any event. I helped organize a 2-day climate-change themed conference there and we consistently heard over and over again how happy attendees were to work and collaborate in a space that was not a traditional conference center. It added so much positive energy to the event just by being in the historical magnificence of the Laurel. The Laurel staff were a dream team: Shelley, Jillian, and Ryan all provided the help and guidance I needed to pull of what ended up being a fairly complex event, and they did so with ease, hilarity, and professionalism. Shelley was so kind, and endlessly patient with me as I worked to liaise with her and my client on their needs. Her communication was efficient and timely, and she met and exceeded all of my expectations. The event went off without a hitch thanks to her thorough attention to detail. Jillian and Ryan were instrumental in keeping things flowing during the actual event and without them, I would have been a complete basket-case. They were friendly, funny, and lovely people to work with, accommodating our various needs with kindness and patience. I would HIGHLY recommend the Laurel for any type of event function: the space is gorgeous, the energy positive, and the staff amazing!

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Laurel Packinghouse and it was amazing. The space is so beautiful you don't need to add much more decoration. Our wedding hosted 95 people perfectly with a generous dance floor. Shelly and the Packinghouse team was a pleasure to work with!

I was there for a wedding and what a cool place. It's a very old building but it is very well maintained. They have a mini museum there that was open the whole night during the wedding. Place is air conditioned thankfully seeing as it was July in Kelowna when I was there.

Great venue! My friends had their wedding here. It was a lovely barn vibe and a stunning set up. My first time at a wedding sitting in a bench format that actually worked. Nice set up for a bar and also the dance floor too! The museum is open in the day so you can learn a little bit of history.

We had our January 26, 2019 wedding at the Laurel and loved it. Shelley was very easy to work with. We loved the natural beauty of the venue and that there was already lights up. The custodians set up our chairs. It was really nice to have the venue for the whole day, especially for the price. The only thing I could suggest would be that for an added price have the venue people available for a flip over, otherwise it was a perfect day.

It's a nice venue for niche community markets, concerts, parties and weddings. Parking is usually pretty limited during dinner/event times and you may want to use the parkade beside the library.
