Went on a tour with my students. What an amazing, informative, and inspiring visit. I would definitely recommend this museum of you're in the area.

Just joined the Sncewips Heritage Museum for a digital tour! It was an absolutely fantastic way to spend my afternoon, especially with the current pandemic it was delightful to get out and see something (digitally!) that I hadn't seen before. Our host Coralee was absolutely fantastic and very engaging and informative. I left knowing more than when I entered and am looking forward to a time in the future when I can visit in person. This would be a great activity for friends, family or a classroom!

I agree with all the other great reviews. Just finished an excellent group zoom tour with Coralee. Learned a ton - and had many doors opened in my mind for further exploration. The museum is open in person now as well. Stop and take a tour or book one online, you will be glad you did!

This place is not open, there is no indications on the answering machine. There is simply a sign in the window. Very disappointing to bring the family and the place isn't even open yet. Like not closed for the day or the holidays. Which they could have indicated on the voicemail, they chose not to indicate anything on the voicemail and put a printed black and white paper in the window saying not open yet. Not opening soon with a date, nothing on the voicemail. Very disappointing that they do not care more about people and the community.

Great place, the staff were so inspiring. There was a young man there (I presume he is the owner, or manager /someone in charge) he was so knowledgeable and gave us so much insight to his people and their culture. I definitely walked out of there with a new respect and understanding of the history of the Okanagan Valley and it's Indigenous people.

Highly recommended! You must visit it, of you can. Its not big, but that is not a disadvantage. We were introduced by Jordan, who told us a lot about the history, culture and todays life of the first nations. No entry fee, but donations are welcome and really well-deserved.
