I have visited many nature museums in North America and this one, although on a human scale, has an enviable collection. The friendly owner has done an incredible job putting together a wonderful collection of shells and stuffed animals. It is a risky bet to open and 2021 and I wish him great success. The museum is conveniently located on the edge of the 138 so it is not a detour if you are visiting Charlevoix from Quebec. It's a small museum that you don't plan on spending many hours there but kids (and parents) should love it. A beautiful shop completes the visit. J'ai visiter de nombreux musée de la nature en Amérique du Nord et celui-ci, bien que de dimension humaine, possède une collection enviable. Le sympathique propriétaire a fait un incroyable travail pour monter une magnifique collection de coquillages et d'animaux naturalisé. C'est un pari risqué d'ouvrir et 2021 et je lui souhaite une belle réussite. Le musée se trouve avantageusement au bord de la 138 donc ce n'est pas un détour si vous visitez Charlevoix en provenance de Québec. C'est une petit musée d'on ne prévoyez pas y passer de nombreuses heures mais les enfants (et les parents) devraient adorer. Une belle boutique permet de compléter la visite.

Avec mon plus jeune, la facination de la decouverte des coquillages, des insectes et des animaux étais a son comble(et que dire du visage dun enfant de 3 ans qui voit une réplique de dinosaur pour la première fois). Tandis qu'avec mon plus vieux, nous avons prit le temps de comparer et de lire les descriptions associés aux differentes espèces. Du plaisir pour tout âge. Nous y retournerons voir les nouveautés l'année prochaine.
