A wonderful outdoor music series! 8 shows each summer featuring professional musicians, a variety of styles from Latin-Carribean singer/songwriter with her band 1 week to the entire Philharmonic orchestra another. Bring your own lawn chair and snacks. Arrive early if you're particular about seating. Suggested donation of $10/person. Support the arts!

The grounds are nice. The museum is a little expensive for what it is.

First time at this great venue. Came to watch/listen to the wondefful Ensemble Vivant's piano chamber music. Perfectly led by pianist Catherine Wilson. Was nice being able to meet up with them after the show. Catherine even allowed me to get a selfie with her. Such a joy being in this park during the ultimate night time weather. All of the possible best circumstance situations seemed to be running smoothly. During my next visit I plan on looking beyond the bandshell grounds. #celebrity_bucks

I went here with my wife for open doors Hamilton, it's alright, a fairly short tour but they did have a lot of crafts and activities , definetly geared towards a younger audience so for that I will still fully recommend it for kids and teens. Cool art work hung around the activities room too. I did get the chance to make a vase outta clay so that's kinda fun, would have been even more fun if I made a bagel outta dough but beggars cant be choosers. Upon tasting my vase I must say that while beggars cant be choosers, clay is still not an acceptable substitute for good old boiled and baked bagel goodness

Beautiful park to watch a summer movie or catch fieldcote music series. We love attending the pumpkin stroll in October here.

Check the photos, the grounds are beautiful, the building itself is small but packed with information. They just started their new exhibit and its looking great. During most of the summer and fall you can find outdoor events such as live music or movie nights that are free for all. If you are local, or just visiting the area, its a great little spot to visit!

We visited in July 2018 expecting to see the Bloody Assize exhibit. It was long gone but you could not tell from what is on the web. I never did find what the display was on the website. It was very nice and about the founders of Fieldcote, but not what we were looking for. We traveled a long way from Ohio to be let down. We wish the display had been photographed and set on a website somewhere before it was dismantled. It was a powerful and historic story that would have been good to document .

We chose the grounds at the Fieldcote Memorial Park and Museum as the venue for our outdoors wedding of approximately 180 guests. We hired a company to set up a tent on the lawn in front of the bandshell, and had food trucks drive into the parking lot to cater for the wedding. We communicated with Brandi at Fieldcote and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was extremely helpful in guiding us with the booking process, and provided excellent advice on many aspects of planning other details of the wedding. The venue itself was fantastic. There were many little spots around the museum and the grounds that our wedding photographer was able to pick out and use for pictures. We were incredibly happy that we were able to have our wedding at Fieldcote, our guests loved it, and we would recommend it highly as a venue to others who would like to do a DIY wedding. A few considerations for any others who are considering Fieldcote as a venue for an event: 1) Given the residential neighbourhood, no loud music is permitted past 11PM (this was perfectly acceptable to us), 2) Parking capacity onsite is limited and the nearby church (a 2 minute walk away) is willing to rent out parking spots if you contact them ahead of time, 3) The one bathroom in the museum can develop a line up depending on the number of guests present – consider renting portable bathrooms, 4) Depending on the weather, your guests will appreciate if you have sunscreen and bug spray available for their use.
