Fabulous breakfast --awesome fruit display on each plate. I enjoyed the egg bagel that came with tons and tons of fruit. Delicious -- not too pricey. Don't be fooled -- the museum is one thing -- the cafe and patio at the back is worth a visit!

Waited 15 minutes to be placed so went in to look if anyone was to greet us as there were 4 other people waiting before us and there were available tables when the waitress came out of the kitchen fully frustrated telling me that she would be with us shortly then came out and blasted me in front of everyone saying that I was rude in doing this. Well out of the three couples waiting, we and another couple left. Very unprofessional. Will surely not be going back there. It seems that we were disturbing them. Wonder who peed in her cornflakes.

We went for lunch as a group. We reserved a week in advance, and even called twice to confirm our number, and make sure it was outdoor seating. Nevertheless, we got seated inside. The waiter said he wasn't the one who took reservations, and clearly did not care about inquiring. Oh and let's talk about that waiter- even though the group I was with was mostly elderly, he used the familiar "tu" instead of the standard "vous", which is very impolite. He was clearly annoyed when taking our orders. He did not come back to check on us. We were handed bills before even being asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. I had the salmon pie, and many had the quiche. You could tell by the crusts that they had been reheated, and it seemed like they did it in the microwave (mushy). For the price, we were not impressed.

Excellent service. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. The back patio was perfect for lunch on a sunny day. The food was excellent and the chocolate, perfect. (I had a breakfast bagel and fruit with milk chocolate.) The chocolate milk was ice cold and smooth. I highly recommend this place for a casual and relaxing experience. Take your time here. Don't rush chocolate.

If you are there for a first time in Bromont it is a cool place to visit. Used to be one great place to go to, but resent year has not been good to this place, staff are often rude and menu has not been updated, bottom line, it is a nice place with nice view and ok food.

It was a very busy day when I visited last, but I know from previous visits that they have excellent hot chocolate. The hot beverages are a little expensive but are delicious. Out front they have a large selection of chocolates either made in house, or from around the world.

Chocking hazard and poor presentation technique on plate! This is one of their waffle plates on their menu. When it first comes out, it look okay but when you cut in to take a biteful, there's so many fruits with their peels on them (pineapple, watermelon, kiwi, oranges) hidden underneith that it just makes the whole plate unplaisant. I really wanna to like this on the first try! Spoke up to their waiting staff, who are super profesionnal, and they made the comment to the kitchen. The walls are thin, and we heard what the kitchen said. So this gets 3 stars for: 1 for location, 1 for professional waiting staff, and 1 more for the little quaint museum on the side. In recommendating this place, I would tell anyone ask for the chocoloate on the side for all plates that come with chocolate. Not going back to eat there.

Overcharged us for 2 items. Asked 4 cappuccino got cafe late. Bought 6 muffins on our way out and they wanted 2 charge me tax.big story on the tax no tax story. They had 2 call manager to get answer while a huge line to pay bill amassed. Friend bought 3 caramel bars at 2.49 each. Had to get back in line cause my debit came out to 12.48. I would not go back. Lots of other better places.

Contrary to other comments here; I was very impressed with the food presentation. The quality, taste and prices were superb! It is truly worth eating breakfast here. Fast service, friendly staff and good good food! Only critic would be the indoor seating. Its inside a museum. Which is nice but... table placing and arrangement are ordinary. You don't exactly get the feeling of it being cozy or comfy. You don't especially want to stay and chat : you eat (delicious food!) and leave. They have an adjacent shop where they sell products and it's a little noisy and crowded. Still giving it a 5 on 5 because it was the best breakfast I ever had and the viennoiseries are excellent also. (For the price: it cost us less than 40$ for two)

This place was absolutely fantastic. Went on a day trip to Bromont for my partner's birthday and, as she loves chocolate I thought I would treat her to this place. The breakfast was better than any breakfast I've had at any breakfast place! Their chocolate museum and selection were also the cutest thing. I wish this thing was closer to me because not only is it awesome food, it's not even expensive.

The specialty coffe and chocolate is very good. Portions are big but the plates they use to serve the food on are too small. Makes it hard to enjoy the meal. Not impressed with the food presentation. The ramequin and omlet are nothing special. The chocolate croissant was chewy and burnt (although the chocolate on top was good). The fruit seemed cut from the day before and did not taste fresh. On the plus side, sitting on the terrace was wonderful, the chocolate is good and most of the staff was very friendly.

Super cool cafe to check out. The hot chocolate was incredibly good, and rich! Tastes like melted chocolate with milk ???????? The savory crepe with fruit was so delish. I would love to go back! The musee is small, quaint, yet gives a lot of information on the origin of chocolate, the history, and even countries who consume the most! The sculpture is something to see as well. Beautifully done. ❤️ They offer a service dedicated to chocolate treats, other goodies, and lovely gift ideas.

We definitely disliked the unreasonable expensive coffee which was more a hot chocolate with some taste of coffee. No time to get an explanation about it, one of them was replaced with a similar one ... We would adjust our expectations to only chocolate, sugar and candys there ... If we ever try it again.

A must visit if you are in the Bromont area. 1st. There is a small museum all about chocolate. 2nd. There is a lovely shop with everything about chocolat. There is a ton of homemade chocolat items as well as some imported items. 3rd. Walk to the back and there is a great restaurant which has great service and good food. Breakfast is quite tempting with a large selection of choices and some,naturally include chocolate. If your in the area do stop by you'll leave with a smile for sure.????

This came to around $ 1.50 -2.00 per truffle. The decor was very dated, a bit rustic, they sell cups, chocolates, jams, honey, ice cream etc (but the price is not given ..) In general it is not worth the detour. I put some pictures and one of what a couple of friends bought them (the bag = $ 27) (Original) Nous avons acheter le chocolat fait là-bas, nous avons acheter environ 10-15 choix/saveurs différents, mais malheureusement nous avons pas mal tous détester.. même jusqu'à les jeter aux poubelles. Cela revenait à environ 1.50$-2.00$ par truffes. Le décor était très vieillot, un peu campagnard, ils vendent des tasses, chocolats, confitures, miel, crème glacée etc (mais le prix n'est pas donné..) En général cela ne vaux pas le détour. Je met quelques photos et une de ce qu'un couple d'amis eux ont acheter (le sac = 27$)

Excellent meal. Just finished a foodie weekend in Montreal and the food at Le Musee du Chocolat rivaled the best from the big city. My tomato basil brie eggs Benedict was a wonderful mix of flavors with the egg poached perfectly. The dish came with a plethora of thinly sliced fresh fruit, and my almond croissant was deliciously crisp on the outside with wonderful almond filling. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

Discovering Destinations

Where: Musée du Chocolat - Bromont What: a chocolate store How was it: Well, Musée is a play on words because there is nothing museum about this place. They sell candy that you find in the city for 2x the price and that includes their truffles. Sadly we still have Belgium truffles in our minds and this didn't come close. We didn't expect it to but we were hoping for a more authentic place rather than a highly commercialized chocolate place. Grade: Eli = 3, Serge = 3 Recommend: If you are in the city you can check it out but not worth going out of your way to see.

The place has a nice selection of chocolates. I live in Montreal and can get many of the same items for less but considering this place isn't in the city with more competition, I would say their prices are fair. Their truffles were very good. I got the dark chocolate with maple butter. I wanted to have something to drink in the back but they didn't have vegan options like soy or oat milk for a latte for instance.

A bit of a let down in terms of size. However, very informative. The chocolate sculptures were both interesting and disturbing at the same time. Not really my type of place but I imagine if you really wanted to know thongs about chocolate that would be a good place to be. According to one chart US consumes 25% of world chocolate. Though according to another that's not true, several countries in Europe consume more?! Either way, temperate regions consume while warm tropical places produces.
