An interesting house with costumed informative staff. A real insight into life during Sydney's early history.

$2 per person and you get choice of guided or self guided with a sheet of paper describing each room. Two women in period costume are there to guide you if you like. Interesting little house that highlights what was considered normal back then. The poor woman of the house had 13 children and died in childbirth at the age of 46!!! It's great they could preserve some of the old tools, books, clothing, etc and you get a sense of life back then. Short walk over after visiting the giant fiddle.

Very informative. The guides wanted to tell us a lot more but we were rushed through probably because of size of house and large crowds. Don't forget to look at back garden

(Translated) Nice old house where you can experience history. Definitely a highlight of the sleepy village for just once 2Dollar per person. The actors also set themselves the right to explain everything exactly and speak slowly and clearly for us tourists;) (Original) Nettes altes Häuschen in dem man Geschichte erleben kann. Eindeutig ein Highlight des verschlafenen Örtchens für gerade ein Mal 2Dollar pro Person. Die Darsteller legen sich auch richtig ins Zeug einem alles genau zu erklären und sprechen langsam und deutlich für uns Touristen ;)
