Even my 8 & 10 year old grandsons like to go to this museum. And I really appreciate that the history hall goes way back before the coming of the Europeans. and most of all, I love the architecture of this building! Thank you to the architect with a vision: Douglas Cardinal.

Parents Officers Community

This is by far the best museum in Ottawa. For parents, the children museum is so cute. It has activities that your LO can do. Tips -Be ready to be patient taking photos of your LO -You won't cover the whole museum in one go, so be realistic and re-visit -Have food at the restaurant, at glance you might think it's super expensive but it's reasonable. The food is so yummy and your LO will eat it. If you are into architecture, get a tour guide you will learn so much

Very beautiful place. The design is out of the ordinary. It has no angle 90. Told that it was designed by a First Nations man whose belief does not include a building having a angle 90. The inside of the building is breathtaking. It has 3 levels. So much to see. Be prepared to spend 2 hours at least if you want to take in everything. Kudos.

Very displeased at how this Museum turned out . I don't understand why you charge so much. The IMAX theatre only shows one movie per month, you should give vartiy. The children area needs a remodel. The Canada hall is a joke from what it was beforehand. Update please.

I was very impressed with the Museum. I learned alot about the history of Canada. I really enjoyed how interactive it was. I enjoyed making my own poster as well as learning from the different games. I highly recommend you visit if you can! The only downfall is, if you have a big truck then trying to find parking is a challenge but, we managed! ????
