When I visited, it was closed till march sadly, dispite that, we were able to get very great and awesome views of the ships. Would come back in open season

I took my kids through (ages 6 to 12) and we all loved it. It was a lot of walking and staircases, but it was awesome to see a destroyer, cruiser, and submarine in one hour. It was amazing.

Sadly, touring the USS Little Rock was closed during the time that we visited in December, but I enjoyed exploring and walking along the dock beside the naval ship. Besides the grande view of the ship itself, there is a small gift shop, restaurant as well as the rest of Veterans park that is within a few minutes of walking distance. The employees there were all friendly and knowledgeable in informing us of the events, history and other special days that happens within the Veteran park throughout the season. We also encountered a Navy veteran who is now a staff there! He told us about the ship, and his time serving the US Navy, and I enjoyed every minute of listening to his story. Ships aren't the only main landmark here, as we also encountered tanks and aircraft too, that were on display within the park. We visited during the winter time, but still had the pleasure of meeting a Navy veteran, taking photos and reading the history of the ship and everything Navy-related. The USS Little Rock is definitely worth a visit for both military families, veterans, and anyone else who wants to pay their respects to those who served their country!

Really cool, but they turned some parts of the ship into display cases and whatnot. There's plenty of room for that on land. Better to keep the interior of the ship looking like a warship. Still, great fun to walk through
