(Translated) I recommend taking the funpass if the included activities please your group otherwise individual attractions are expensive (Original) Je conseille de prendre la funpass si les activités incluses plaisent à votre groupe sinon les attractions individuelles coûtent cher
I was a fan of this. Sure, it may not be as impressive as the Madame Tussaud's figures in London - but it's still quite impressive and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the descriptions and taking photographs. The exhibit is also quite large, so there's lots of time to be spent in here. The ending was quite frightening - in a good way of course! As a child, I remember running as fast as I could to escape the last "room" area. I returned as a teen to see what I missed that first time down that secret tunnel, as it bothered me. Would recommend.
experience was great
This ticks all the boxes for me. Some solid was figures, some hilariously bad ones, and have always gone on days when it's been quiet, so it's a relaxed and funny time.
Love it
Kids had no idea what most of it was. This was bundled with other things.
Really cool museum. Buy one of the attraction packages that includes this. Not sure it would be worth it on its own
Very old school
(Translated) Excellent (Original) Excelente
Very entertaining....
Love the wax figures.... we really enjoyed the haunted maze.
Very nice wax museum, with very elaborate and creative sets that accompany the figures. We went here one night while staying nearby and had a great time. It’s definitely worth it for the price! Plus you can also buy a Fun Pass which includes the Niagara Sky Wheel and it includes admission to the museum.
(Translated) For adjustment of times it is good to be a moment, nothing extraordinary (Original) Para ajuste de tiempos es bueno estar un momento , nada extraordinario
Love the new Marvel theme....
Some statues are amazing! Some not so much. I wouldn't take your young children inside. Might be scary.
It was alright. Definitely not the best thing I did while in Niagara, but certainly not the worst. Some of the figures are fairly accurate (especially 'The Rock' and Dr.DoLittle). However, others seemed to miss the mark completely (like Justin Bieber).
We got tickets as part of a combo package and I am very glad we didn't pay full price! Some of the wax figures are good, some are decent, and some are so bad they're funny. A few are missing fingers, etc, most likely due to rude guests getting too close. Our kids enjoyed the walk through and the adults had fun guessing who some of the people were. Towards the end, there is a mini-haunted house that includes darkness, loud noises and flashing lights. You have the option to bypass it, which 3/4 of our group did. All in all, I can't believe they charge $11 a person for this big joke.
Wax figures were terrible and all broken down! Spend your money elsewhere!
This was awful. Only go here unless you are looking to throw away 40-50$. None of the figures look realistic. They’re not even wax they’re all mannequins . Honestly there’s so many better things to do with your time and money
Great place. Had fun!
Most of the wax celebrities were recognizable but they gear more towards older kids and adults. We had fun though.
Worth it to go to if you have a fun pass. Was interesting to see and the spooky detour was neat. Some of the wax figures seemed a bit dated but was still enjoyable.
Not that bad.
Waste of money. Not even lifelike. Many unrecognizable.
Some figures look so real! It was pretty cool, but it felt very short because there isn't any interaction. We completed the whole tour in 15 min. Price isn't too expensive approx $11 for adults, so it's pretty good compared to other attractions in the area. Check it out at least once, it's not bad.
Seems fun to me
We went there hoping to see wax models that resembled the real people. Thank goodness there were labels so we knew who they were to represent. There was a scary walk at the very end that you could walk through. This was the best part with a moving bridge, darkness and mirrors. Waste of money for us and I would not recommend it. I was tempted to demand our money back. Last spring we went to Ripley's museum up the street and enjoyed it.
Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area! My girlfriend and I went with the kiddos, and we all had a great time!
Fun place
Nice activity to do , some of them are better than others
Pretty cool
Must stop here when in Niagara!
compare to Vancouver wax museum is zeros
I met celebrities
Loved it.
Miley Cyrus really???? Horrible artist who did these should be ashamed
Wonderful and looking like it all real
Realistically ride. Person on front desk really nice , its almost closing time but she still let us in. Thanks
You pay $ but unable to take photos with any of the wax figures due to fences and string put up. Over at Louis Tussauds they ask those to respect the wax figures when visiting and we do... And we still get to take actual photos with them not behind string or glass. Taylor Swift wax is so plastic and the Katy Perry was that was out front for 3 years is now been pushed inside they are plugging off Taylor being in the front.
The wax figures are not as good as some other places, but the decore and theme of the place is excellent
It’s a 50/50 whether the dummies look like the celeb or not. Cool scary part at the end. Worth the price for something to do, but expect to be laughing more than you will be in awe.
Pretty good likenesses. Not scary, so good for the kids, but they might not recognize the characters.
Cool wax statues
Very nice for kids but if u have under 4 years old you new to be careful some of them are scary but it’s nice to see and I devise to buy the package for 6 places it’s cheaper
2 stars because a few of the statues were actually pretty good. As for the crusty woman working the till....she should probably retire if she doesn't like working with the public. She jacked up my kids for asking if they had to walk through …
Movieland Wax Museum is an amazing and a super cool attraction that you must visit. It gives you a fun opportunity to get up close to the wax figures of your favourite celebrities, actors, singers and the like of the entertainment world and Hollywood. You get ample time for all the photos you need. Its a good place to unwind and have a good laugh. Then for the real fun, just head through the haunted house maze and get all ghosted out to end it all. Came here with the fun pass which includes 6 attractions. It is the best and most economical way to enjoy these attractions. Had lots of fun and laughter. Highly recommend with the fun pass.
I love the horror movie area
A super fun place to visit - every time I come to the falls I make a stop here. Haven't been here since before the pandemic so I'm glad to see things have changed a little and that they are taking the necessary precautions to be safe while having fun! Good job folks!
(Translated) To do if you have the fun Pass, beautiful decor, but the statutes, a chance that the names are registered. I love the final passage! (Original) A faire si vous avez la fun Pass, beau decor, mais les statuts, une chance que les noms sont inscrits. J'adore le passage final!
Right in the heart of Clifton Hill; a great collection of wax figures! Staff is very patient and informative when it comes to questions about Niagara Falls ON.
The place was bigger than I expected. The wax figures were a bit off though. Still a fun experience.
Most of the figures were very lifelike
Nice place to go through if you're in the area, especially with that Fun Pass you can buy at the front.
Fun place to visit! Be better if they had more of the interactive ones for more photo ops, but the forest Gump and Jimmy Fallon ones were really cool to take pics with
Really cool. Great work.
I liked it, it was cool to see all the Wax Models and I liked the Jack Sparrow one Outside. It probably took me to walk through about 30-45 Minutes cause it was my first time. I recommend this, Cause it’s not Scary or and it’s Interesting too see.
3rd time there and enjoy it every time. Wax statues are very life like and photos come out nice
Nice wax museum. You can't miss it if you come to Niagara falls Canada
Nice.
what a dump !!! Old wax, over half the displays are fiberglass castings, other half, old, broken ,most statue look nothing like individual..This place is worn out ....Needs some cash injection
Fun memorabilia spot for the hubby and I. Loved all the characters and set up.
Great visit each time
Cool museum
Nothing impressive. Dirty, probably not dusted in ages, most of figures not even close to real celebrities. This should be called plastic museum not a wax museum
Great time, way more than I expected and not overly high priced! Will go again next time in Niagara Falls
It was included with the fun pass so we did this one, but the wax figures didn’t look real. I would have preferred to do a better one
These wax figures looked insane. Obama looked more like he'd been created by a child in caricature form that was then hit in the face with a baseball. Michelle Obama I'm pretty sure was wearing a mask from the Purge movies. Not to mention the other celebrities who looked nothing like themselves. I wasted 10 minutes staring at tom hanks who looked more like George Bush if he were 40 years younger and bald.
Everything looks so real
Not so realistic and not for young children
Had fun time going threw the wax museum to see all the stars.
Was worth the money! Wondering how offen it changes so we can go again?
Worth it if you get it with the coupon package
Good place. Need to more improvements in wax statues.
It is fun to go through if you haven't seen it before, lots of great scenes; however it is still very dated and not a lot of new content gets added. The price is a little steep but you can get a coupon for a dollar off valid anytime from one of the hundreds of coupon books all around Clifton Hill. I recommend it if you want to kill a little time, fun, interesting, some scenes are really good to see at least once.
I mean... most of these aren’t even wax and it’s not hard to tell. Some of them are literally the ugliest most horrifying things I’ve ever seen in my life. Please don’t go here, it’s a huge waste of time and money and shouldn’t even be on the Clifton hill “Fun Pass”
Better than the other wax museum
As awesome was figured such as Justin Bieber. It is a fun time.going through the attraction.
A place to visit
90% of the figures are not even close how the real stars look like.... Very dissapointing wasting time and money.
Amazing
(Translated) When I was a child I was not very surprised. The sculptures do not look very real. (Original) Cuando fui de niña no me sorprendió demasiado. Las esculturas no se ven muy reales.
It's fun but you can't get too close to the wax statues, an alarm will sound.
Although not every sculpture was identical to the human it was resembling; I thought it was worth the walk through! Lots to see!
I didn't like that they don't let you take pictures with the wax people
Not realistic at all looks like they have been made by children still bit of fun but I wouldn’t waste my money doing it again
(Translated) few characters are alike. .. I received the tickets as a gift, otherwise I would have been sorry to have paid for it! (Original) peu de personnages se ressemblent. .. J'ai reçu les billets en cadeau, sinon j'aurais été fâché d'avoir payé pour ca!
I don't think the intention was to be funny but this place has a huge collection of some of the most hilariously bad wax figures you'll ever see in your life. A fun game to play is to avoid looking at the labels and try to guess who is who. Bring your camera and a sense of humour! I give this place five stars because my friends and I couldn't stop laughing the whole way through. So much fun.
(Translated) small place but it is for tourism ok no more (Original) petit place mais c'est pour tourisme ok pas plus
(Translated) Small visit for the asking price. The characters represented are not the same. Some without the name tag we could not know who they represent. (Original) Petite visite pour le prix demander. Les personnages représentés ne se ressemble pas. Certain sans l'étiquette nom on ne pourrait savoir qui ils représente.
Lots to see.. quality of the figures was iffy
Very realistic wax figures that you can get up close and personal with.
The museum is good but models do not look original
Quite enjoyed it but found some figures to be a little off. Worth the time and money to go.
Very impressed by the wax models, price was to be expected ($12) contains all your favourite movie characters and actors
(Translated) It's cool but half are more or less realistic (Original) C'est cool mais la moitié sont plus ou moins réalistes
Overall good value for the exhibits, specially if you buy the funpass.
Um, I'm not sure what to say, so I'll just say this: Harry Potter has greying sideburns, blonde eyebrows, and no scar. And that's not even the least realistic figure. It was so bad it was good. But if it's part of the fun pass, you may as well go. The surprise at the end was fun though.
Funny place
Just save your money. They look nothing like the actual people.
The most disappointing attraction we did in the Falls area. The wax figures are all in need of make-up and skin color. There were some that seemed only to be finished on the side You view from. Overall it was a disappointment.
This isn't one of the most exciting stops for the kids but some of these are so realistic it's startling! We did enjoy it!
This is one of those places you will want to pass on. I’ve seen more realistic wax sculptures during Halloween. All of the wax figures of actual celebrities lacked the semblance that would make you want to take a selfie. On the other hand, if this is free as part of the Fun Pass, you may want to stop in for a laugh.
Most of the figures looked nothing like the actual stars (Matt Damon, Tony Stark, Twilight, Harry Potter, to name a few) and several were very outdated (Elvira? Bob Hope? Laurel and Hardy? Barbara Streisand?) Definitely not worth the money.
Awful! The wax figures are not well done and long over due for a cleaning. When a 10 year old calls it out and asks what’s wrong with their faces....there’s a problem. Don’t waste your money!
Price was good had a great time in there you could take your time and look aroumd
Pretty awful. Not up to par worth the other places we saw. Needs an update badly.
Horrible! Figures didn't look anything like the actors. Needs a good cleaning in there. Figures were dusty. Def a waste of money!
I was very disappointed, none of the wax figures look like the people they are representing. Save your money and get a bear claw instead.
Interesting place but a little bit pricey
Needs improvement.
Great for first time. Not much changed.
It is good place to remind movies, but the waxes are similar....
I was shocked how well they all looked. Very realistic
Waste of money and tome. Maybe one or two actually looked like the ‘stars’ Don't waste your money!
Absolutely atrocious. None is the wax figures looked anything like the real person. Some is then looked straight up like maniquís from stores. Only reason I came was because it was included in the Fun Pass. I bet the other wax museum is much better. Don't recommend.
Nice little exhibit of known movie actor/caractere. Worth even more if you purchase the Clifton Hill Fun Pass cause it included in the pass and give you access to 4 other activities. The lil scary path at the end it a nice touch!
Lots of fun. Good price and we’ve found that discount coupons are readily available for this attraction. Everyone in the family enjoys this attraction. *If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up*
Very interesting
Just a waste of time and money
What fun....So many stars to look at...a lot of them you can tell exactly who they are. Havent changed much since I was little. When walking down Clifton Hill, this is a mainstay attraction.
Some of the statues are super cheesy, only dropped in because we had a Clifton pass.
Yes good place take family too
The wax figures did not look remotely close to the movie stars they were supposed to be. I got a good laugh out of it though.
A fun place to visit wax movies on Clifton Hill.
A fun place to visit wax movies on Clifton Hill.
Although I enjoyed it because I'm a fiction movie fan, the statues were not made really well. Some of them didn't really look like the actual heroes that they were representing.
Nice statues of captain Jack Sparrow. Same as i saw 3 years ago ????
Cool little place to walk through, just make sure there's enough space between the group in front and behind you or else you'll end up with strangers in your pictures
(Translated) What Beautiful Souvenira Innoubliables (Original) Que De Beaux Souvenira Innoubliables
I love wax museums and this one wasnt the best with its faces but was still fun and the mirror maze at the end was a total suprise! :)
Liked the displays here and the wax figures - some were life like and some others we had to guess who they were - thankfully there were signs - It was a little expensive but we used the fun pass. We have visited at the Movieland in Niagara Falls several times and enjoyed the exhibits at the Movieland. Movieland is located in the Clifton Hill neighborhood of Niagara Falls and is within walking distance to the Great Canadian Midway, the Guinness World of Records, and the Wendy's. - Rick Trus review
Wax figures are lacking detail and realistic touches. Some obviously haven't been cleaned in a couple of years. I wasn't impressed with this one, but it was apart of the package.
Lame. The majority don't look like the people they purport to be. Don't waste your money
Would highly recommend! I had an amazing time and there is a mini haunted house with a mini mirror maze as well! A lot of cool things so see as well. Good price.
it took me a moment to figure most of "wax" people looked so REAL! it gave almost heart attack! it is recommended (:
This was our first time at a wax museum. We weren't sure what to expect. There were some characters you knew right away! Others, we wouldn't have known without the plaque to tell who it was. It was a good time killer & chance to get out of the rain.
Looks good. Great time. Put it on your to do list.
Ok.scarry stuff for my 4 yr old
This place is so realistic, it's creepy and amazing!
Wax figures were terrible!!! Some were downright terrifying
Barely any of the wax stars look like the actual movie stars. But it was fun to laugh at how horrible they all looked. The only fun part was the walk out of the haunted maze.

Not bad to visit once but only once.
(Translated) The place is small and the figures are very distant from the real, it is neglected with dust inside. the only thing that was entertaining were the mirrors. (Original) El lugar es pequeño y las figuras estan muy distantes de lo real, esta descuidado con polvo adentro. lo unico entretenido fueron los espejos.
It was awesome seeing this, some didn't look the same, or even close but it was fun nonetheless.
(Translated) To visit if you have the fun pass only. Some characters are successful, others not at all, but the sets are not bad. (Original) À visiter si vous avez la fun pass seulement. Certains personnages sont réussis, d'autres pas dutout mais les décors sont pas mal.
It was decent but Toussaint's is better.
Went here only because we had Fun Pass (or whatever it's called). Honestly, one of the worst collections of wax figures I've ever seen. Half of the statues looked like absurdly generic versions of their source material, while the other half looked nothing like them. Many of the figures were missing parts (fingers, teeth, etc) or were in severe need of a paint job. In all, I'd say "Avoid at All Costs" unless you'd like a comedic tour.
(Translated) Too much coool (Original) Trop coool
Entertaining
Kind of outdated but good cheesey fun for the kids.
My favorite part was the Simpsons
Colourful and impressive art.
The best part was the end most figures did not look like wax figures
Typical wax museum, but filled with movie stars.
Some of the wax figures are spot on while others missed the mark. The surprise haunted house inside was really cool. Definitely worth it if you get the fun pass for 29.99
???????? Wax Museum of the Stars, Clifton Hill Road, Niagara Falls. This is like budget version of Madam Tussauds ????, with most exhibitions not even close to resembling the celebrities. I confused Shahrukh Khan for Jackie Chan, and Obama here looks Chinese lmao...so there you go ????. But having said this, it's still good entertainment, and if you visit the Falls this is a must see attraction, at least once.
I went to the wax museum with the fun pass, and that's the only way I recommend paying for this museum, the dolls don't look at all what they are meant to resemble. The Harry Potter didn't even have the lighting scar! Matt Damon, Harrison Ford and Elvis looks like it's been made from a poor picture taken with a old Nokia phone. Not at all worth the money, unless given "free" on the pass. A disappointment
This seemed to be more of a dust museum. The staff seem to never dust any of the figures and exhibits.
Was a blast
Not as big as madam Tussaud’s but still nice to see
It’s an ok wax museum. Certainly not madam Tussaud’s quality but good for a laugh. They should spend some money to bring it up to par....it’s Niagara Falls and par for the course....
Can't go wrong here, very cool and fun place to explore. It includes most of your favourite actors.
A fun visit for the family.
Nice experience, the wax not perfect like original. But it's still amazing.
Nice activity to do , some of them are better than others
My children are happy and they liked the place
Poor at best. Everything needs a reboot in Clifton Hill. Very weak representation of the actors/actresses. Dated and irrelevant entertainment for 2018.
Movieland Is my favorite wax museum in niagara falls. It really stands out from other attractions, especially at night. The outside with the indiana jones and the talking statue scene really adds to the look. When you get in, you walk down a red carpet with some well designed wax figures. Later you'll realize that almost every wax figure in the museum has their own specific scene. It even includes the simpsons, harry potter, the teenage mutant ninja turtles and the predator (and the invisible predator). The only criticism i have with it is the horror section at the end of the museum. It was a bit too short, and some of the characters they chose could have been better. Where's jason, micheal myers, pinhead, or leatherface? i know this museum is more kid friendly than some others, but still. Other than that, it is still an excellent atttraction that you and your kids will enjoy.
Very Neat Place
We visited because we had the fun pass. The nicest thing was the "scary part" aht the end
Meh, if you get free tickets with your fun pass, check it out, but dont pay for it
(Translated) Well to hang out, the place is small and you have fun for a while. (Original) Bien para pasar el rato, el lugar es pequeño y te diviertes un rato.
Yes I guess the figures are made of wax, poor representation of the performers. Did not recognize most of them with out the caption by the figure
Got the fun pass which included the wax museum! Otherwise I wouldn't have went in here but I was pleasantly surprised and my husband and I loved it! Very fun especially since there weren't too many people so we could take lots of photos!
Really cool place with lots of stuff to see!
I really enjoyed coming here with my partner. There were a lot of amazing figures expertly done, but there were a few that didn't really look at all like the real people. (Kristen Stewart and Robert Patterson for example) we will definitely return though ????
A lot of the older figures aren't being maintained. Robert Deniro and Bela Lugosi were missing some fingers and a lot of others like Paul Hogan were missing pieces from their noses, and some others were losing their hair. The accuracy of the figures I'd say was spot on for about 75% of them. There's an optional horror section, it was OK, but I'm not sure why it was there since there are at least a dozen haunted houses in the area. I think you'd be better off just going to Louis Tussaud's.
Something to do, that is interesting. Some of the wax looks awesome some very doubtful
Fun experience.
Great
Needs to be updated and cleaned. The exhibits are old. Time to add some some new items. I was happy to see the Simpsons finally got a new sofa and clothes.
Quite enjoyed it but found some figures to be a little off. Worth the time and money to go.
Great place to go even as an adult, I had a blast!
It was OK. some of them looked good some of them looked OK and some didn't even look like who They were supposed to look like.
Amusing but could have been a bit more interactive.
(Translated) Small place, the figures are not very real but children will surely like it. The optional section at the end scared me that I'm an adult hahaha Don't let your children come in ???? (Original) Lugar pequeño, no están muy reales las figuras pero seguro a los niños les gustará. La sección opcional del final me dió miedo a mi que soy adulta jajaja No dejen a sus niños entrar ????
(Translated) Well, nothing more. (Original) Bien, sans plus.
Great place n interesting characters
Wow loved the exhibitions
Very interesting
Good fun one for kids. Always try to stick to pass in Clifton street so you save in each game like 10% each or more.
The Movieland Wax Museum was a good experience since I hadn't been to one. It took some time to walk through and there were various different characters. Definitely go through the mini haunted house at the end. We loved it! The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the quality of the wax figures. Some were great and others looked nothing like the person. This attraction is included in the fun pass, which I would suggest buying.
Always love to be here! ❤️
I've seen way better Wax Museum
Dirty and cobwebs everywhere waste of money
(Translated) Good, but to do with the funpass, otherwise it's too expensive, because half of the characters are not alike at all (Original) Bien, mais à faire avec la funpass, sinon c’est trop cher, car la moitié des personnages ne se ressemblent pas du tout
This is definitely a children's attraction only. There is next to nothing that teens and adults would really enjoy for paying thr admission fee for. I'd definitely recommend this place if you have kids, but otherwise, it's best to skip this place.
A small but nice wax museum, it is coming as one of the attractions in the fun pass.
The absolute epitome of a tourist trap with very campy was statues that dont look anything like their counterparts. That being said, it is a very campy wax museum which has its charm.
AWFUL! The characters look NOTHING like the real people they represent. So boring, and even the names were MISSPELLED! Like, take 5 seconds to spell check your stuff. Ridiculous.
Thought the haunted house was better than the wax museum
Very fake!! Not actual size.
Showcases many famous celebrities from movies, music, and television. At the end of the museum there is a hall of horrors and a wax hand studio.
Wasn't sure what to expect with a wax museum, and it wasn't to bad ,a few characters were easily recognizable, others not so much. They could probably put some effort into cleaning up, ( dusty Mr.T and a few other displays that look neglected)
It was amazing
The best part is the scary one.
i really liked the place everything was really nice it really made my holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and it was cool and fun. Also, there is a hunted little area that spooked the hell out of him that u must try. …
Wouldn't attend unless bundled with the fun pass. Good photo opportunities. The little scare section near the end was fun.
Sorry to say that this was a big let down. Most of the wax figures do not look like the stars. The are a few that really have a good resemblance like Dwaine Johnson, Bob Hope, Katy Perry and Jack Nicholson but the others are not good at all.
This is the worst wax museum in niagara falls and ruined my trip I bought the fun pass and it was horrible the worst thing on the fun pass when I first came in it was fine but then I saw Tom Hanks and it was so fake. I think that louise taussauds is better so go there Don't waste your money and time unless you're stupid or want to laugh out loud
Very ordinary....
A fun, easy way to entertain the kids for 20 minutes while you're on the hill!
(Translated) Really cool (Original) Vraiment cool
The place is really big and amazing. Really worth the money. Some figures do not look good quality at all, but others are really amazing (Jimmy Fallon or The Rock for example). Esspecially the spooky cave made ja scream a little. Thanks for the experience!
Mr. T, Eddie Murphy, and Elvis give you an idea of how old these characters are.
The vast array of featured stars in their blockbuster movies are shown here. The wax actors look different from the actual actors themselves. We finished the show in just one and a half hour and we felt they should have added more artists and entertainers.
The wax figures are really impressive. You can sit with wax figures and have a full out fake conversation. Went here with my brothers and sisters and had a really awesome time!
Pretty cool.place i paid only $12 and got to see many movie characters and its pretty small i was expecting a lot bigger but hey it is what it is at the end of the day
Better then the one on Vegas ! Gotta see it for yourself, I suggest the fun past
Pretty cool. Part of the Clifton Hill fun pass.
It was alright, probably wouldn't pay to do it again though. Characters look close enough to the real deal i suppose.. It sucks if your really need to use the washroom though...cus you'll just waste your money to run right outta there lol
(Translated) A nice place worth visiting (Original) Ladne miejsce warto zwiedzić
Awesome attractions
Miley Cyrus looks so funny ????
Honestly not worth the money. I have been to wax museums in the past and 99% of them look supper close to the real thing. At movie land if there wasn't a plack to identify them you wouldn't be able to know who they are. The scary part at the end was pretty fun !
(Translated) Not always very representative but a good time with the family. Their museum is well done despite the few similarities (Original) Pas toujours très représentatif mais un bon moment en famille. Leur musée est bien fait malgré le peu de ressemblances
Longer interactive wax museum that Madam Tussaud’s in NY city, however the wax figures looked NOTHING like the actual person, minus a few. The ones that did look great were either broken or a very outdated version of the person. The “Haunted house” walkthrough the the end made it worth the visit!
Not all realistic but very nice to visit, scary hall was good to do!
(Translated) We went there just because it was included with the fun pass, but it can easily be passed. (Original) On y est allé juste parce que c'était inclus avec la fun pass, mais ça peut facilement être passer.
Most of the wax figures look nothing like the celebrities they are portraying. Only come here if it's part of a package. There are better wax museums in Niagara Falls.
Good spot..lots to see. A bit dated though
Broken faces
Nice
They did a good job on a lot of the wax people... Overall it's a little expensive for what you get but definitely worth a try :)
Have not laughed this hard in a long time. Impossible to tell who half the characters are. Three different stars were clearly attempts at Jack Nicholson gone wrong. "I guess maybe we could use this for Bob Hope?" So many amazing touches. Brando's cheap toy cat. Taxidermy Chewbacca head on a dishwasher. Typos throughout. "Jim Carey", "Robert Engulnd". The terrifying attempt at The Simpsons was my highlight. "Ah ... Carumba" ???? The twist at the end is fun. The set decorator was considerably more artful than the waxwork artist.
Don't waste your money there.
terrible exhibits, waste of time and money
Interesting place with great statues of great films and actors. It was a great nostalgia of every single film and we really appreciate the place. I would go there again next time I go to Niagara.
Been there before it was awesome the house of horrors was cool if you go there beware of the electric chair
Very cool. Been going since I was a baby. Never disappointed.
(Translated) Not very special considering the price which costs !!! (Original) Pas très spéciale vue le prix qui coûts !!!
Was another place we went for my friends birthday. This was so cool and I am in love with the wax hand I got to make! 100% would come back!
If one of the celebrities portrayed in wax at this museum ever saw themselves I think they would demand to be removed! Most horrible figures I have ever seen!
This place is always fun to go to. Great for taking photos.
That's a place you go just to have fun. Some of the wax do not look like the intended people. The Simpsons were just fun. Star Wars was fun. Adam Sandler as Happy Gilmore... Not so fun.
Was not what were specting
Worth visiting
Interesting was figures, like how the sets are.
Kids loved it
Nice !
Would've been nice if more than a handful actually resembled the people they were supposed too.
Really well made
Fun place to have a treasure hunt! Especially Clifton hill ;)
Good presentation for sure, but a lot of the figures don't resemble their real-life counterparts at all. Without the little signs telling you who it is, you'd have difficulty recognizing them. There is a spelling mistake and a factual error on the simpson's quiz (cartwright is not the creator of the simpson's), and it all just looks like it hasn't been updated since forever. The elvis placard read "starred in movies and had TV appearances", nothing is mentioned about his actual career... pretty sad. Not worth 12 bucks.
Waste of money, more than half of the wax figures don't even look right, wouldn't recommend
A unique experience with many photo opportunities. Some wear and tear is to be expected for such a busy venue. The haunted house and jump scare is a great touch. Where else can you see Katy Perry, Predator & Harry Potter?
I enjoyed the wax museum but it was very short I wish they had more wax characters in there also the wax figures was not true to the person but they were trying to capture some were but not all
Visited today and were in and out in 10 minutes. This is a substandard museum with the wax statues having very little likeness to the stars. The likeness is in the order of 50% or even less. There are a few stars where without reading the names against them you would not know who they are. If you go to Mme Taussad's in NY or elsewhere the likeness is close to 80% or more.
Hmmm some were ok but a lot weren't even close
Excellent
So much fun
Terrible.. They didn't look anything like the actors they're supposed to be.. It was a joke. Don't go. Money grab at its best.
I would never step back into this building, worst waste of money ever. Only go if your ready to die laughing at how bad it is, none of the characters look at all close to what they should be, not even the Simpson's which would be easier out of all of them. Also, exhibits need a good dust and clean.
Great for the value but still missing bunch of famous movie stars
Don't waste your money. Not a good wax museum at all.
Where department store mannequins go to retire. No resemblance at all.
It was pretty good, it’s nice to take pictures and see celebrities.
It was interesting and the wax figures were good
Cool place. Not all characters look like the life ones but yeah it's alright.
The best of all niagara's wax museum. We really enjoy this one
Worth checking once, bonus point for having super heroes models visible from the street view and lots of cool characters, but some are behind fences making it hard to take decent photo. There is also an optional haunted house portion which is nice, and a special effect that make Predator look invisible depending from where you view.
Fun time going through it.. Some of the older wax figures are showing there age..I think it's time for a freshing up.
FYI, Freddy Kruger was played by Robert Englund, not Engulnd as spelled at this place. Learn how to spell the stars names. Other than that, mediocre.
Most wax figures need to be redone..
Its ok. But not wort watching.
it is good
Could not recongnize most of the wax replicas, Waste of time.
This place is a joke and a waste of money... The wax figures look nothing like the people they're supposed to be
Very fun place to visit. Our favorite side of the falls is the Canadian side. So much to do and see. The wax museum was amazing. Loved all of the movie stars and musicians. We cannot wait to make our return trip to the wax museum
The experience was fun all in all but lots of the manikins need a touch up.
Great Funny place. You need to see it
(Translated) Very disappointed Tourist catch The statues do not resemble the actors in general. (Original) Tres déçu Attrape touriste Les statues ne resemble pas aux acteurs en général.
It's good fun for the kids... some of the wax figures are amazing, others are pretty rough. Over priced as most things on Clifton Hill are, but still fun.
Honestly? I don't know how or why this place is still open. It almost feels like they don't even care about the place. The statues are poorly designed, they don't even resemble some of the characters/people, and the place in general is poorly maintained.
It's a little like the womens wear section of Sears except some of these manikins look familiar. I'm not sure I understand the allure of this. Its probably just me.
Museum needs a disclaimer for small children. Scary ending we had to bailout on at the end. Figures weren't that great. Most didn't look like who they were and most needed repair. We only went because of the fun pass we bought.
(Translated) Small as a museum. Very quickly to shop around. There are characters who are well done and others who are not at all to the point that you have to read the sign to find out who the actor / character is. (Original) Petit comme musée. Très vite à faire le tour. Il y a des personnages qui sont bien fait et d'autres pas du tout au point que tu dois lire la pancarte pour savoir quel est l'acteur/personnage.
Cool place, great with kids
Ok, had high hope’s, this did not live up to expectation’s, trust me i didn’t set the bar incrediably high either, the wax model’s didn’t have much resemblance to there famous counter part’s, the best bit was the haunted part at the end ...... i do not recommend this place
(Translated) Found place. (Original) Funn place.
Rip Off! Don't waste your money here. Mannequins do not resemble stars and everything is cheaply made. We were in and out in 20 seconds. Wasted money! I wish there were decimals for the star ratings.
Super pathetic attempt at wax figures. Comically bad. Don't waste your time here.
Nice to visit
Tuesday 6:22 pm the lady in the counter having different behavior for the Indian peoples . She is very polite for the white people. 100% races
Worst part of our trip to Niagara Falls. Exhibits are so poor, not life like at all. Stay away.
Wow
Waste of money, this wax museum is not what you see in other countries. Everything looks very fake.
The kids loved it. Very life like wax figures.
Overall the wax figures looked fake. The Haunted House was creepy, but cool. If you have the Clifton Fun Pass, why not?!
fun place, even though a lot of the figures does not look like the real people at all.
(Translated) Entertaining but you have to be creative and read the posters to guess who the characters are. (Original) Divertissant mais il faut être créatif et lire les affiches pour deviner qui sont les personnages.
It was pretty good for a laugh on a rainy day. Some of the figures are good, and some look hilariously bad. I went in with a sense of humor and enjoyed it. Part of the fun is seeing how the statues look nothing like the real person. Looks like the paint has faded on some of the older figures too. Price was reasonable.
(Translated) Overall correct attraction (advice to take a fun pass) come back cheaper ... fun and mostly well done with a nice trip, little horror-style trip that little to do at the end is successful!
looks real....
Nothing alike
(Translated) Excellent place (Original) Excelente lugar
Very dated little to no up keep on their display some figures missing fingers paint coming off most of the stuff is from the late 80's early 90's took my teenage kids and every other figure i had to tell them who they were
I found the wax figures to be a little off from reality
Expensive and old. This place needs a little dusting... The best wax figures can be seen from the road. Go to Louis Tussaud instead.
(Translated) Go for it. With the $ 20 pass it's worth it even if the statues are not all very realistic. Make the Enter zone at your own risk it's worth the cost of entry just for that zone! (Original) Allez-y. Avec la pass à 20$ ça vaut la peine même si les statues ne sont tous très réalistes. Faites la zone Entrez à vos risques ça vaut le coût de l'entrée juste pour cette zone!
There are some great wax museums in Niagara but this one looks too fake.
Sucks... some of the wax ppl were broken. Worn out figures. Not worth the money
The scary part in the end made it interesting for me and my husband ???? lol -The rest is blah
Do this only if you get the Adventure Pass. It's fun, easy, quirky, 15 minutes max. Little kids can skip the spooky ending section.
It is not a bad place at all. It has some interesting items for kids.
Surprisingly this was really good, for our first wax museum as a family. I will say, not all the figures look realistic, but they had so many figures that there were a lot of great ones! They also have characters from multiple time periods, allowing for different generations to connect with the characters.
The wax version of princess Leia had her bra falling off when I walked by ????????????
Granted I'm not a big fan of wax museums in the first place. I only went since it was part of a package. The only highlight was the "scary" portion and seeing others get freaked out.
A fun place to visit for movie and music lovers. The sets for the figures are really creative. A lot of them don't look like the characters, but it makes it funny.
Bad resemblance of stars, but still fun and simetimes funny.
Nice little museum but it needs refreshing mostly on the wax statues. The electric chair was awesome ..had a great time.
Some waxes are dead on but some if they don't tell you who it's you won't know. But still it's a fun tour and there's a twist at the end
Not as big as other wax museums and not as many recognizable stars
Don't buy the tickets as a stand alone. It is only worth it as part of the package deal. Walking down Clifton hill before we visited, I thought they were highlighting a bad Owen Wilson on their sign. Turns out it was an even worse Peeta Mellark. Many of the statutes are recognizable only by the name plates. If you're looking for a way to kill a half an hour, it will do, but don't go in expecting amazing pieces.
(Translated) Really hot as a museum (Original) Vraiment hot comme musee
just save your money and watch the actors/actresses in movies, majority of the people don't even look like them.
Very unimpressive, even my children who are 8 and 10 were commenting on the complete lack of resemblance to the real characters. Bette Midler resembled herself, Heath Ledger out front as The Joker, and Taylor Swift..however, almost every other statue was very poorly done, very fake/wax-looking, and definitely not a good replica. If it weren't for their signs, you would never know who half of them were.
Doesn't even deserve that. PLEASE don't waste your money. First of all these were not wax figures. They were mannequins. Meryl Streep had a broken finger and another character had duct tape to keep his hand from falling off. The only reason we went was because it was part of the fun pass. We really liked the other activities but not this one. DO NOT pay a dime if u thinking of doing this without a package deal. We absolutely hated it. Finally, I have no idea what imagine of Cher they used but it looked like an Asian woman. This please should b shut down
F..ck
Place ok but some of the wax figures a lot to be desired. Some couldntc even tell who they were if they didn't have names on them.
Not worth the money. Too expensive for the quality of the exhibits. Couldn't guess who was supposed to be who if it weren't for the props.
Nice for family
It's a fun silly place to visit
Woud'nt waste your money a 4 year old could do better with so called was waxworks as other half are them are plastic and in terrible condition.
Loved the scary part of the museum.
Hate the high admission price
Wax statues are not life like.. As mentioned by someone below. They're far from the actors. Not worth the money at all.
Very attractive museum featuring famous Hollywood stars from all times. It also features some Bollywood stars.
I guess my expectations were too high but it is ok, you have to see it once.
Michael Jackson doesn't look happie @ all!
Fun but very expensive considering the figures aren't that accurate missing fingers and being quite off. Not worth it for that price but if you go you'll have fun regardless
Great collection of wax figures but some characters really didn't look that great. Most though were really well done.
None of the sculptures look anything like the celebrities they're supposed to be. The little haunted house part was neat - scarier than the frankenstein house across the road. Indiana Jones looks like Chevy Chase. Good for a laugh and something to do to pass time. The exit forces you to walk through their gift shop. Gift shop is ok, big stuffies for decent prices and they do neat custom wax sculptures of your hands there too. Staff was very rude at the ticket booth.
Time to clean thing up. Very dirty and rundown my kid like it . We got the value pack well worth it.
Much more fun than I thought it would be. It's a decently sized attraction with recreations of classic movie scenes. Not really great for young kids though, my 5 year old daughter got a bit spooked. It's worth it if you get the fun pass.
The best part is the horror section. This place is fun for photos, but your kids will be bored.
Sometimes interesting but overpriced. Poor quality likenesses and lots of dust. Everything looks tired. Displays at the end were a bit scary for the kids.
Some figures were very lifelike while others were way off.
The wax figures didn't even resemble the people they were meant to look like. They look dirty and unkempt. Is it wasn't part of the fun pass I would have demanded my money back.
Great to have fun and take some selfies not over priced at all! This place was awesome!
It was mediocre. Not bad but nothing special
Lots of exhibits here but the quality is honestly not that good. Upsetting.
It a must to go here. It's amazing the wax figured. Will go there again.
Hollywood style tourist facility
Overall not that bad experience. It is nice to go once but probably only if you have never been to any wax museum. Most of the statues simply do not look like persons they represent. Only small amount of statues are really good. Most are quite average or even bad. On the other side there are lots of statues inside and even scary area with an electric chair. A little bit overpriced but worthy with the fun pass. Nice to see once but only once! 3/5
Very nice. Lots of cool pictures to take.
The wax figures looked absolutely atrocious; they aren't even close in resemblance. The scary bit at the end was good though.
Poor replicas.
Fun
Don’t be too hard on this place. Its the free final giveaway as part of your $25 pass. Yes... majority of the figures have been there since I was a kid in the early 1990s... really!!! And not a single wax figure looks like the celebrity. But its ok to walk thru. No one actually buys anything at the gift shop. I feel bad.
