You will be able to see all the feddbacks of people who purchase the services and products of Explore & More - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum (Museum) in Fort Erie (Canada).
Right now the firm gets a score of 4.6 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is nearly the top, and it is based on a very large number of opinions, so we can say that the assessment is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Museum belongs to the category of Children's museum.
My 1st time there..it was an awesome experience! And the staff did a great job with distancing people...only a certain number of people allowed in each activity area! The kids had a blast! We'll definitely be back!
Wonderful time for all ages ???? Learn through fun and play. The kids couldn't stop asking to go back for several days after we went!

This place is great for the kids, 1st grade and younger. Lots of interactive activities. Was smaller then I expected. Looking forward to the new place opening up down at the Buffalo waterfront. I believe it should be open to the public in spring 2019. Until then I would definitely suggest the East Aurora location to entertain the kids while allowing them to learn.

What a wonderful gem in Downtown Buffalo! There is a lot to do and everything is clean, educational and fun! Great opportunity for kids to learn about the local history and to engage in some STEM-focused learning. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Buffalo.
Great place! All inside! Kids under 8 years old tend to have more fun here! Its more for younger kids! Small and easy to keep track of the kids!
We loved it, so many cute activities to do with the children! My littlest loved the water activities! Definitely going to go again
great space full of hands on activities, science, sports, local history, engineering, science!!!!

Great place for toddlers. They absolutely love the fourth floor the new treehouse and the farm to table section. Hard to get them to leave.
Decided to go for my kids since we were visiting around Buffalo NY for a family health procedure. It isn't that easy to see from the road I had GPS luckily. Also have to watch for signs for the front door which you have to go all around once you are inside and watch for signs to get to the actual place. The place itself is cute but a little pricey as they charge for adults as well as children. Has some cool sections to explore like an African, Asian, home, farm, boat, electrical, building and so on. It was a bit messy and things were kind of all over which i get because of kids but no employees were around picking up anything or interacting just one at the front on his phone. They have a small eating area and small art room. They also have a small toy store. I would say it was just okay.
Very packed with things to do around every corner. Wonderful place, I would 100 percent go back

They are going above and beyond to keep folks safe and allow the kids to still have fun. Thanks! We visit only yearly, but it's been a fun tradition.
The kids loved it! They had so much fun exploring the different exhibits and playing. It was a little smaller than expected but overall we had a good time. The beginning floor and the treehouse were the kids' favorite part.
A wonderful children's museum with a focus on STEM and locally themed exhibits. Activities would probably fit best for 3 and up, though my 16 month old had plenty of fun. We went on a Friday afternoon and there were not many other families there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Masks were required but I saw quite a few adults with masks off and no follow up from staff. This is not a criticism of the staff as I do not know the museum's specific policies. Just an FYI if you have concerns about this - masking was not 100 percent.

This is a very nice place! You will easily spend a couple hour here. But alot of activities were out of order...
Great place for kids to spend day. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Definitely a great place for kids to interact with things
Really cool place to take your young ones. My 2 yr. old granddaughter loves this place. I love the tree house. I never can find Tinker Bell though lol.
Fun place for the kids. The employees are friendly and most importantly patient. They offered a arts and crafts room as well. Just take hand sanitizer or wash your family's hands frequently due to all the little ones because most of the activities are hands on.
Great hands on stations for children

Nice place, activities seem well maintained. Would offer the advice of putting some kind of physical barrier for kids so they cant just run out the front door when there is not anyone at the desk. Watched an 18 month old whose parents weren't watching her run out the door because no one was at it. The toddler was returned safely to her parent but made me concerned about any other kids and the ease of them walking out that door. Maybe a self closing gate at the doorway would help avert something like that in the future. Just a thought, otherwise I probably would have rated 5 stars.
We spent 6 hours here! And she could ha e gone longer if I let her. A great place for the kids during the winter months!

Had a blast with my nephew Bradley, thanks for a great day
The kids had a good time. There are 4 floors of hands-on activities for all ages. A worker walks around constantly sanitizing everything anyone touches. Families are encouraged to stay 6 feet apart and masks are required. Not quite as fun as The Museum of Play in Rochester, but if you're in Buffalo and don't feel like driving as far, this is the place for you.
Lame Strong museum of play is greater than this. Go to the Strong!

Great for kids. Old school toys. Best way for the little one to learn and grow. Obscure spot in the building but other than that. Can't wait to take him again when he's a little older to enjoy it more.
If you have children under about 8 this is the place to go. My 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 year olds enjoyed it immensely. Not a moment were they bored. We were there about two and a half hours which was as long as they could handle it however, there was a lot they didn't do or spend much time doing that they would have had they had an opportunity. If we're back in the Buffalo area, you can bet we'll go here again.
This is such a buitifull place for famillies.
Great time for the kids, multiple levels of fun and a great in door pit stop if you are taking the kids skating and want to get out of the cold.

Great time! Walking 1 year old loved it, 4 year old had a great time. Restrooms on every floor with changing tables super convenient! Interactive displays!
My kids loved it. Great exhibits, tons of fun! Cool building with great views. Car wash, tree house and water play area were my favorite! There are 4 floors, first floor has a cafe. There are multiple family style bathrooms on each floor. Staff is very friendly.
Super awesome. Well done. Interactive and inclusive. Kids up to 5 or 6 will really enjoy this place. Definitely recommend.

Phenomenal museum...hours of fun for the children.. well done! We'll be back many more times.
Very kid friendly place that is very contious of keeping everyone safe. I saw cleaners at multiple levels and at multiple stations. Lots for kids to do and kept them engaged the whole time we were there. Only thing you need to know is to make a reservation. We didn't but thankfully they were not at max capacity and let us in.
Decided to check this museum out while I was in town because I work at another children's museum. It was very nice and the staff was so welcoming! I love that they focus on the culture and history of Western NY. A great place for a family outing!
Great place for young children and families. Lots of fun activities and COVID-safe practices.

Absolutely awesome job with the new location!! My son had an absolute ball and loved every center available to visit. There are 4 levels of fun and hands on exploration as well as a very nice cafeteria on the water.
Place was so fun the kids had a blast. So hands on they loved it along with my wife and i.

The new museum is a lot of fun - my kids especially love the water play. It's wonderful that so much is hands-on.
lots of stuff for the kids to do (3 & 6). I liked how it's tied into buffalo. I learned a lot and the kids had fun.
The kids (and adults) had a blast. Lots of stuff for everyone to do!!

Love it!! The employees are super nice and explains different areas.
Not so much for one and a half year old but for a five and seven year old they had a blast running around experiencing everything exploring discovering and even asking more questions about what they saw
This is definitely a place for the little ones. There are some things as a parent I could see you enjoying with your kid, but definitely not as cool a place for creative first date for adults as I thought it could be, lol. I thought it would be a little more like the Strong museum in Rochester, but it does say children in the name so that's on me. There’s three floors of activities, games and crafts, with lots of things to keep the young ones occupied for a couple hours at least. I did enjoy getting a chance to just explore and see what the museum had to offer and I had a little fun along the way.
The kids love it there. So much to do, very clean, and friendly staff!
Weekday
My girls had so much fun! I asked them if they enjoyed it and they yelled "yes!" There are 3 levels of different things to do so they were not bored at all. They loved the tree house thats on the 4th floor. Very cute. Im getting a membership for Christmas
Great experience for superhero day. Was my first time going and we stayed and played for hours. Many memories made and great staff!
Spent a great day with my 5 yr old granddaughter and my 3 yr old grandson, all "hands-on" displays very interactive and very educational and very fun ! Thought we would spend maybe an hour but spent 3 hours and could have stayed longer. Cafeteria style restaurant had a lot of choices at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend, only issue is parking is difficult. Had to drop my wife and kids at the door and then had to go find parking.
Just enough for a family with small children.
My son has been asking me to take him here for a while so we finally made it and he loved every moment. He didn't want to leave. There are so many things to keep him occupied. All the exhibits were pretty cool. He especially enjoyed the West Herr exhibit and the theater. I purchased our tickets online had to reserve a time slot for admission, but you can stay as long as you like once your in the museum. The cost for the both of us was $22. Only reason for the 4 stars is the parking it's kind of non existent. It's always busy around the canalside area so good luck looking for a parking spot.
This is a unique Children’s Museum grounded in local history and culture. They do an extraordinary job reaching out to diverse children and families and have continued to provide interesting and fun learning experiences through the shutdown resulting from the pandemic. The staff members and leadership are exemplary!

My daughter loved this place! I will say though, that it seems like shes outgrown it a bit at her age but still had a lot of fun. When we took her here the first time she was about 5 years old and it seemed way more fun for her. I still highly recommend for kids of all ages! I was hoping there would be more exhibits like the one in Rhode Island but again, we still had a great time.

Phenomenal experience! Super spectacular activities for children 0-7, I would think. My son is 9, and although a few items caught his attention, alot of the exhibits didn't. I would definitely recommend this activity for any parents with children under the age of 7. They have a nice eatery on the 1st floor, and activities throughout the 2nd - 4th.
They did a fantastic upgrade compared to last year. My grandkids had so much fun. The staff was friendly starting with the clerk at the front desk. Only problem we had was parents weren't watching their kids and follow the one family per section rules. Sadly I had to tell kids they had to leave the section we were in. I don't blame the kids. I'm sure every parent got the same rules as we did. Some older kids didn't have masks on. I would highly recommend this place. The staff needs to instill the rules on parents that think this is a place to let there kids run free.
Very nice the kids loved it . Three yr. Olds
This is a lovely museum and a great addition to Buffalo’s Canalside. Only the little ones will really appreciate what is on offer, but across the three floors there are plenty of games, exhibits, and activites to keep them engaged. I think it would be very easy for a family to make a day out of visiting since there is so much to do. Like a lot of children’s museums, some of the exhibits were not working properly, but I was not bothered since the admission was so affordable.
Awesome place for adults and kids
Very clean and fun exhibits for young kids. I took my 7 and 8 year old, they loved it but we were through the whole thing in about 25 minutes.
Great place for kids to explore and just be kids. This place is amazing . I highly recommend.
There were many activities for the whole family. Fun birthday scavenger hunt!!! The place is being run great with Covid in mind. The price is reasonable for the experience. We would definitely recommend and go back!!! Happy 1st Birthday!!!
Nice place for kids to play. Just the right size for a few hours with the family. Nice cafeteria in the basement too.
Not sure
Great place for kids to go and get tons of energy out. Staff is great with kids and they go the extra mile to constantly sanitize!! Sad the art exhibit wad closed but I definitely recommend and will go back!!
Love the activities for the kids and the diligence of the staff for frequently wiping down things after being used.
What a fun place! Stumbled upon this Children's Museum when traveling through the area, and on a whim decided to go and very glad we did. Our children are school-age kids and both really enjoyed it. I would say they have things to do for walking toddlers all the way up through older children, maybe 12/13? Older depending on the maturity of your child. Lots of Interactive learning opportunities, hands-on movement, and many areas for kids to explore. Engineering, art activities, water play, kinesthetic learning, problem solving, and musical activities can be found on all three floors. Depending upon the attention span and level of engagement of your children, you could spend anywhere from one hour to four/five hours here. The bottom floor does have a great cafeteria that overlooks the river, and offers a variety of both kid friendly and adult options for snacks and/or meals. Prices at the museum cafeteria were reasonable for the venue- not grocery store cheap nor tourist attraction overpriced. Due to covid, they do require you to right now make an appointment online and purchase tickets ahead of time. We happened to come later in the afternoon when there were not as many people, and were able to get in during a non-busy time. Staff is very friendly, and worked well with our children. Would go back again if we were in the area.

Lots of interactions for the kids to have a great time.
I gave Explore and More 2 stars since the first play area you see as you walk in is pretty cool. You can color a truck or car, they scan it, and then it drives on the projected road on the wall for a while. Aside from that, EVERYTHING IS BROKEN. There is a cool half-car that kids can play in and it doesn't turn on. Pumps are broken on the water exhibit. The crane next to the water exhibit is stripped. There are no hockey sticks in the hockey rink. I get that kids can be tough on things but you have to know that and anticipate repairs DAILY. Unless your kids like to play with Broken toys, I wouldn't waste my money here.
Weekend
I lived in buffalo all my life. Canal side is where it's at now a days. My kids loved the Explore & More Museum. One of the greatest things buffalo has ever done for young children!
Love this place. Super clean. Super nice staff and a lot of things for the kids to do.
Lots of hands on things for the kids to do
We absolutely loved this children's museum. Great exhibits for kids , my 4 year old absolutely loved it ! We will definitely return when we are in the area !
Took our 3 yr old twin boys there over the Thanksgiving holiday - They loved it. Had to drag them out of the place when lunch time came around - that was after hours of exploration. It's great!
We've been to many children's museums over the years: Erie, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Columbus, etc. Explore and More is a nice facility to spend a couple hours with the family. Being that it is one floor, parents don't have to worry about their kids getting out of sight. My eight year old daughter had a blast. My ten year old son enjoyed the more analytical type of displays. We are eager to visit again when it moves canalside in 2018.
The atmosphere is 4 stars, a fun place for kids to come on a rainy day and explore. However my lower rating comes from the fact that the staff practically pushed us out the door. I understand that they have lives and want to end their work day on time, however about an hour before they closed one young staff member was cleaning while we were still there. The kids would take something out to play with and walk away for a few minutes and it would already be taken away and put back when they came back to play. It made us feel "guilty" for taking it back out to play with after it was cleaned up. That was about a half hour before they make the announcement of when they will be closing. It also creates an environment where you feel rushed out the door. I've never invited anyone over for coffee and then taken their cup before they were done drinking it and started washing it. Thats because that would be rude! The customers are your guests! In my opinion cleaning should take place after the guests are gone and the doors have been locked.
The new museum at Canalside is worth every penny! There is so much to do and kids of all ages were having fun in the different areas! (Pictures are of only a few of the areas)
Great museum for kids, especially younger children. Great ideas and concepts but some of the exhibits need some work and attention. A great place to spend a few hours!

My son loved it and I constantly saw employees cleaning the areas the kids were touching.
Awesome place. I have a 2year old and 7year old. Both were occupied and didn't want to leave. They loved every minute of it. They have sections that you can, build a house, learn plumbing, electrical, play house with the kitchen, travel around the world. It was really awesome. This was the second time I was there. Definitely will go back. We went later in the day and it wasn't to busy, unlike last time when we went first thing in the morning and it was packed.
So much fun! We brought our 20 month old daughter and she had such a blast! There's fun for kids of all ages. The staff is very friendly as well. We will definitely be back!
I absolutely love this place for kids but at times when it’s busy, I can’t stand some parents who doesn’t utilize the sensory time for their kids and when they know their child will freak out because of sensory overload but the parent is somewhere not watching their kids. There was an incident where my child was actually hit badly by an autistic child and I don’t blame the child I blame the parent who wasn’t watching her kid which was much older than my 3 year old child. I shouldn’t have to argue with a irresponsible parent and staff wasn’t much help either, I don’t bring my kids somewhere if I know I can’t watch them or if their not comfortable.

4.5 it was fun to have a place to go to with our children during covid-19 lockdown. It would have been better if the kids could interact with other children more, however, this was not the fault of the play place. The only thing I would change was that some of the exhibits were down due to construction. This made it a bit crowded and disorganized on certain floors.
Took my nieces here and I think I had more fun than they did, they have so many activities and the staff was awesome ! I would recommend this place to anyone with children.
What an absolutely wonderful place for children. Great fun for tye whole family.
Weekend
Great for kids of all ages! My Grandsons age 3 - 10 had a great time for hours of play. Bright and cheery, beautiful museum.
It is great for kids up to age 10 or so. Most exhibits are hands-on & fun for younger children. My 8-yr-old grandson loves to visit here; spent over 30 mins in the "construction" play area at last visit, as did several other children. Many exhibits are educational as well - while still being a form of play.
Cute and interactive setups. Geared more for younger kids and toddlers. Great place.
It was awesome my daughter loved it and the staff was so friendly and kind . thank you for making our day so much better . it was a special event on this friday night .
Nice family fun learning place. Ac wasn't up to par on the 3rd floor and due to the rain outside space was closed. Will be going there again. Great staff to help with building activities. They kept my kids engaged. They also kept the place clean and safe for play.
The kids loved it - ages 3, 6, 8. VERY CLEAN and Near

Perfect size for 2-4 hours. Lots of fun and interactive exhibits! We loved coloring pictures of cars and trucks and watching them become digital and drive around a wall. The attention to Buffalo and Niagara Falls history in the exhibits was notable and fantastic. My 10 year old and 6 year old had a blast!
My grandkids and I had a great time. There is so much to do. Parking is LIMITED.
My kids love coming here. It's clean and the staff is friendly.
Awesome place for kids, so many exhibits that kids can interact with.
Really good place for kids. We go on a weekday to avoid large crowd. Kids really enjoy it. 2 hours is more than sufficient to go through everything
The Disney World of Buffalo. We absolutely love Explore and More. The staff is incredibly friendly. Each floor is unique and has a different touch of creativity. They host a sensory friendly night once a month. The passion that Explore and More has for teaching ALL kids is unmatched. It’s a safe place that my kid LOVES to explore in.
What an amazing place!! So much for the children to do. 4 floors exploring. As an adult, I had fun participating in the exhibits as well. My daughter (33 years old) may purchase a membership for her family.

Very clean and well-staffed. My 2 and 6 year olds both had a great time. Definitely worth the 10 bucks a pedson!
Kids loved the new car wash exhibit. Each time they went through it, they discovered new things to try.
This is a major upgrade from their previous location. It is a great place to take the kids for the day. They're still ironing out some of the kinks and we drove in circles for a while looking for parking.
I went there with my girlfriend and her son, who is 2. It was a great experience. There are a number of great exhibits that are well worth the price of admission. A word of caution, parking is tough.

We were visiting Niagara Falls for a few days and decided to come down to the museum during a rainy morning. It was well worth the quick 20 minute drive from where we were staying. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. Everything is clean and well maintained. Our kids (aged 9, 7, 5) all loved the bright, inviting exhibits and declared it was the best children’s museum we have been to (we have been to many). Highly recommend!!!

I brought my granddaughter who is 25 months old she absolutely had a blast very clean environment socially distancing was a little difficult because it is with a bunch of children you can't like be polite and wait for kids to pass you when you're trying to chase down a 2 year old traffic inside the building was pretty steady tons of different activities for kids to do and learn the price was right we got half off of mission for April which I probably would have played full price without a problem all in all clean friendly staff very interesting activities and educational

Fun place for some time with my children. Its geared towards younger children so older children may not enjoy as much. On the day I was there they were offering free cooking classes.
Went here with my grandson's preschool on a field trip. The kids absolutely loved it. While, to be honest, it was not much fun for myself, I am looking forward to bringing all the grandkids again. They have a few vending machines with drinks and snacks, if you are planning a day, bring a bag lunch. There is plenty of parking and a nice area to eat in.

We were so excited for this place to open and overall it is a disappointment. We have 2 kids (2 and 7) and although it serves its purpose to entertain them for a short period of time, it is just filled with fluff. Compared to the museums in Pittsburgh and Cleveland, this place is not even close. The way it was designed is great, the way it looks is great - but the bottom line line is it doesn’t hold the kids attention and we find ourselves moving around quickly and then within an hour calling it a day. We have been 3 times and trust me, I want to make this a staple, I want to get a membership. It just isn’t worth it. Here are a few examples: -The locker room area, cool but what is the point? -playground/crawl space - why is it so small? Who decided to use the floor materials? It is shedding and gets all over the kids clothes lol. -the pretend ice rink? Really? A cheap ball and a little puck? What the heck is the point? Let’s take our shoes off and go on the ice, for 27 seconds and look around for something that isn’t there to do? -water room and boat are cool, but again there is something missing. I judge places like this on not only my perception but my kids. My kids can spend hours in other museums, including the science museum in Buffalo. I feel terrible writing this review as I am a loyal Buffalonian and I was really looking forward this place.
Lots to do, educational and an arts and craft room. Easy to spend hours here.
So cute! Hours and hours of fun here. Good prices. Staff was attentitive and constantly cleaning everything up and very informative if you had questions or even if not. I will most definately be back with my kid and more.
This was a very pleasant experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome. There were plenty of activities for the kids. And even a quiet room. We will definitely return!
Very nice place
We had several kids ages 18 months - 12 years who spent a few hours here and wished they could stay longer! We didn't even make it to the top floor. So much to explore ???? and learn, very hands-on and visually appealing. Can't wait to go back! Just plan ahead for parking, haha. We struggled to figure out where to go, and a nearby parking garage worked out at a fair rate.
Great experience. My toddler didn't want to leave. They have 3 levels of fun activities and things to do. Great indoor place to go hangout with the kids during the winter.
Fun for the kids, a lot of exhibits were down though.
Alot of fun to take the kids!
LOVED IT HERE! I went with my husband and 2 daughters (ages 2 and 4). We went during preview week and so not ALL of the exhibitions were completely up and running yet however, most were. There were 4 floors of exhibits, each one, more amazing than the next. There was so much to see, do, talk about, learn about, read, play with, color, etc... Because we got there late, we kind of had to rush through and focus only on the areas my kids absolutely loved in order to see everything before they closed. I cannot wait to go back again when we have more time and can actually spend time enjoying each and every part of it! The girls did have a few favorites that I'll mention... 1.) The hospital area (probably one of my favorites as well ????) I can't even describe the cuteness.... I'll share some pictures but just watching the kids take care of their sick little teddy bears in a hospital like setting, so adorable! #2) The farmers market (4th floor, I believe), the kids got to "pick their own vegetables" "milk a cow" "play with chickens, chicks, eggs and their chicken coop (all pretend of course) and then take their food "home" and prepare it in their kitchen! It was really neat. My big kid (aka my husband) loved the sock rink where you could skate around in your socks ???? There is just way too much cool stuff to mention so I'll leave it at that. It really is something that everyone should see (and will love!) and there is something there for everyone to enjoy, you won't be disappointed!
Really amazing place parents and children can enjoy themselves!
Low Bridge Cafe is awesome

Really nice! Best for ages 4-10 I would say. Very busy on the weekends as you'd imagine. Get there when they open or go on an off time.
I took my 5 and 6 year old yesterday for the first time. They LOVED it!! The exhibits were interactive and engaging and kept them busy for hours! In terms of COVID - workers were CONSTANTLY sanitizing everything and there were rules for social distancing, which made us feel safe. We especially loved the crafting rooms - lots of unlimited supplies for creating and recreating. Overall, the place was gorgeous, the lay out was great, and the activities were a great mix of play and education. We will definitely be going back! The kids are curious to see what the rooftop set up is all about during the warmer weather months. ????????
This is an amazing place for kids of all ages. There are four floors of fun. The kids can run and play and touch everything without a problem. This places really engages your child's mind and physical ability too. I would recommend anyone with kid(s) to check it out asap.
Nice activities for kids and some history for adults.
$11–15
I never seem a same place before, my kids love to play in the museum, valuable education museum.

This place is awesome! Very clean, educational and fun. Membership is reasonable if you have children. Wife takes the kids at least twice a month, and they always have a great time.
Sometimes you explore & sometimes you do more... It's like the Bed, bath & Beyond of kids museums. I'll leave the "more" up to your imagination cause you got too come here to see it all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice place to go to in East Aurora. Great for kids and familes. Plenty to do and learn. From a makeshift canal lock system to a fake farm. Build with the construction area. Have a blast. They are moving to downtown Buffalo soon. To canalside.
My kids are 7 and 9 and they were probably.on the upper end of kids the place is aimed at. Still, we had lots of fun!
Weekend
Interesting activities for children upto about age 8. They charge adults full price for coming because "parents play too". You would think they'd want more adults to help manage children.
Best place for an afternoon in Buffalo with your kids.
Excellent place for a birthday party!! Staff is very helpful and takes care of everything. Clean and kids love the many different options for hands on play. The kids painted small piggy banks for their activity. They loved it. The new Tree House exhibit was open, kids had a blast! We have a family membership, and the kids never get bored
My son thought it was gonna be boring I said you have to give It a chance. Well he had fun and I loved it all the different stations and also learning about some of our city's history..

Always a fantastic day when we can make it to Explore & More! We were here for an event held by the Buffalo Autism Project. There was plenty of staff making sure our kids were safe, cleaning toys, engaging with families, and ensuring a safe and fun event.
Spent hour here with my kids. They loved it.
I bring my 3 yr old here often. Lots of fun things to play with and build. I reckon when he gets a little older, he'll probably learn more. Can host parties there, they provide a lot of amenities for that. Things are kept pretty clean in my experience. Fun place!
kids love it
It was packed today but there are four floors of fun. This is educational and interactive. Mainly geared for younger children.
Was my first time here and it was very nice, definitely a place to educate young kids.
Our favorite place to have fun Just have to watch your kid like a hawk. Some adults are not kind to kids .
Great for ages 1 - 5 ! Hands on learning ! Pack a pair of extra clothes - because your kids will get wet with the water tables !
First time taking our 18 month old here. She loved it! Will be back again!
This place is fantastic! It is so beautiful inside, it is practically a work of art! I pre-ordered our tickets online, and failed to read the small print that they would be mailed. We were planning to go that day, so I was more than a little anxious when I realized my mistake! I was so thankful when the kind staff happily switched our tickets for that days addmission! Great, great place for some fun with the kiddos!

Amazing place at their new location. Places for kids to climb, places to build, play kitchen, farm, and cars, a water area based on the Erie Canal, and more.
The activities are cool. There are workers all over the place walking around but nobody explains anything to you. It just felt really invasive to have them literally watching every move you make. When you are talking to your children and trying to get them under some control, they but in.
Great place to take the kids if its a weekday. Weekends & Holidays are crazy... then both the kids & the parents are out of control!
Weekday
Awesome place with lots of fun activities for kids of all ages. My both kids (6 years and 1.5 years) had lot of fun. Though it was the closing time but they were not ready to leave that place, and while coming the older one already started planning for the next visit.
My son loves to play here, especially with this!!
Went for soft opening. It was nice day for us all. Adults even learned some new info on our city! Kids enjoyed it. Can be a busy day for kids. One slept for 2hrs after we arrived back home.????
I just hope the plastic play food is washed daily. SUPER NICE AND AWESOME STAFF AND ESPECIALLY MARGARET IS THE REASON FOR THE 4 STARS. As a first time visitor with a 2 year old -14 year old and kids in between each child had an area they liked
It's fun for the whole family! Tickets are $11 per person. My family and I will be going back.
We absolutely loved this museum. Soo much fun for all ages
Price for adult entry
Great place to take your children lots of things to do interact with everything could spend a half a day in there!
Kids absolutely loved this place, so much for them to explore and play with.
My daughter can play here independently. I love watching her explore and be creative. This is a great place for kids to come to get away from screens and really play, especially on cold and rainy days when outside is not an option.
Excellent ???? fun! A family can spend hours here. A very nice restaurant is on the first floor. The exhibits are amazing! There is lots for kids to do, tons of interactive fun. 4 floors of activities, including crafts. For about 12 and under.
Very fun place for kids to play. There are four floors of fun activities for kids to learn and play. We all had a wonderful time
I didnt realize this was for the whole building so I'm editing: the explore area is very fun and interactive, the cafe not so much, theMenu isn't updated. It's more like a convenience store with outrageous prices. If I'm going to pay $8 for a burger, I'd go to one if the actual restaurants down here. $3 for a Sprite. $7 for a small dairy free salad
Was able to attend explore or more auesome evening. Great opportunity for those with sensory issues to explore the museum without pressure of large crowds and judgement. So many exhibits, a bit overwhelming for my guy but he has sensory difficulties. You may want to pack spare clothes if you have a little one that likes to splash in water. There is a water fall and canal display that is interactive. Tons of splashing and sending boats down the canal system

Great place. Our 2 year old had a lot of fun for several hours. Everything was safe, will maintained, and well staffed. They also did a great job of cleaning the surfaces throughout the day and working with children on their level of wearing masks.

More for younger children under 5 years old. It was nice but older kids have probably seen it and are pretty bored there.
Be sure to bring your ID if you're military! Free entry!

Great place for kids to learn explore and play.
Fantastic children's museum with a ton of stuff for the kids to to and play with. 4 floors total, though the whole first floor is the cafe, so 3 floors of activities and learning. Lots of Buffalo related science and learning all around the museum. Definitely recommended for anybody who lives in the Buffalo area or even just passing through.
We love it here. Very interactive! Staff was very friendly and cleaning constantly behind all the kids wiping everything down.
This place is absolutely great for kids. Children can play, explore, and learn new things. My son had a blast learning new things and interacting with all the toys. The price of admission is great and the drive wasn't bad at all. I can't wait to take my son back there so he can learn even more.

My grandkids had a great time here, infact a blast. It cost $55.00 for 5 people. Kids cost the same amount as adults.
$1–5
This is a beautiful new space for kids. It is thoughtfully laid out with lots of natural light. Many engaging areas. My 6 year old easily spent 4 hours here and could've stayed longer. There is seating for adults and the spaces are open enough that you can easily sit and keep an eye on older children. The cafe served kid friendly food and prices were quite reasonable ($3.50 for grilled cheese and fries, $8 for a grilled chicken sandwich and fries) although the drinks were higher ($2 for a small chocolate milk). They do have beer and wine available to purchase. I try not to post any pictures with children in them so it was hard to get any pictures but here are a couple of the "farm to fork kitchen area"
Great place for young children to learn and have fun! I will definitely be taking my kids again soon!
I would like to say thank you to the very nice lady at check in desk for going above and beyond to fix issue I had with getting my membership to show up. She was so kind and we were able to enjoy our visit and stop back at end and she had it all worked out. She even gave us a welcome pkt. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. In addition to my son having the best time we the adults got to build a skier out of popsicle sticks and foil. We had fun doing it. Explore & More thank you. Thanks and appreciation, The Phillips Family
Every time I'm in town I take my 2 year old. She has a blast. So many creative and fun things for her to explore. We can spend a few hours for sure. It's clean and organized very well. Each floor has something unique about it. I would highly recommend going. I do try to go on the weekdays to avoid congestion. However, have been on the weekends and still was fine. Great job on bringing this to the Buffalo area.
Explore & More is such an amazing place. We brought our toddlers, preschoolers, and school age kiddos, and they all had a blast. So much learning and fun
This is a nice new play space for children. Every area is spacious enough for several kids to interact with the items displayed. I would change the way the children enter the water area...maybe a walk through so kids aren't splashing water everywhere. The terrace was not open...kind of disappointing. I wish the hours were a bit longer.
Great location. Id say it's only got ages 5 and under. The top floor is a waste and nothing to do. Best part is the CAFE. Good food nice being right by the canal.
$11–15
Nice place for kids 7 and under. I would say 8 and older would get bored, I know from experience with my own children. A lot of activities to do but not a lot of space to move and get out of the way of other kids and families.
floors of fun and exploring mostly for young children but also fun for anyone at least once. very creative interactive displays. Right on the waterfront so its close to all activities, easy parking that is free...for now April 2021

I’m going to give this place 3 stars because several of the displays weren’t working and none of them had explanations. Yes, most were self explanatory, but some directions would have been helpful. Our 9 YO grandson thought some of the displays were “babyish”, so keep that in mind. Better suited for younger children. The 7 YO twins enjoyed it.
We had my son's 5th birthday party here and it was wonderful and affordable. Lisa (our party consultant) was so helpful and made our experience amazing. It was nice to have everything taken care of, everything was clean and the food from the Cafe was perfect for a birthday party. The staff at Explore and More were friendly and helpful even when it came to booking the party. Lots of fun activities, the kids loved it. Definitely will come again!
Great place to bring younger children! We have a membership and use it mostly in the colder months. Fun place to kill a couple hours. Also they have the Low Bridge Cafe that we eat at almost every time. You can get a huge grilled cheese and fries for $7 - enough to feed two kids.

Great place for kids. The people are so lovely! We were visiting from NJ and they really took care of us. Thank you all!
Great place for kids to learn about objects in motion, design and construction, and especially various world cultures. My kids loved building a cabin with jumbo Lincoln Logs, playing mancala in the Africa exhibit, and learning how canals are used to transport goods. Lots of great hands on activities. Fun for older kids too (like me :)
