At the moment this firm receives a rating of 4.7 stars out of 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is basically the best one, and it's based on a very high number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum is classified in the category of Museum.
Great experience last Friday at the Ford GT unveiling. Excellent collection of other cars, and the period correct setting of the FLW gas station.
Very fun day. Lots of cool old cars
Fascinating look back at autos, bikes, and motorcycles with plenty of memorabilia to peruse. Even a Frank Lloyd Wright designed garage in the mix to make this an interesting place to visit.
New experience for me
Nostalgia at its finest .... Great time knowledgeable and friendly staff
If you like cars this is the place. Good collection and well restored and maintained vehicles definately worth a visit.
It's a fabulous museum with old cars of all times, gas stations, special Ford corner and very friendly stuff. They gave me a free ticket for myself when I came to them with my family in a Father's weekend. Thanks guys, your museum is great.
Maybe a half dozen Pierce Arrow automobiles. Many of the automobiles backed against the wall so you can not see the rear or have a good sightline of the sides of the automobile. No history of Pierce Arrow manufacturing. Most displays have no interpretation. Some interesting automotive memorabilia. Frank Loyld Wright gas station is not accessible. Nice reproduction.
Outstanding display of cars, bicycles, motorcycles, and accessories, documents, artifacts galore from the late 1800s, early 1900s, and some newer mid-1900 cars too. Beautifully laid out, easy to see much of everything in 2 to 3 hours. Pierce Arrow automobiles are amazing and the museum has many, as well as lots of other incredible vehicles. And don't miss the Frank Lloyd Wright filling station, a marvel in copper and concrete. Finally, seek out the docent Tim. He is a wealth of information and will hold your interest.
A place to visit to learn history of the area.
Great collection of cars and memorabilia. Worth a visit.
If you are a history, car, motorcycle or bicycle lover you don't want to miss this. They even have a Frank Lloyd Wright full size model gas station inside! Very nice collection.
Born and raised in Buffalo. Def should have gone sooner.
Love this place! Friendly staff great exhibits!
If you have a few hours to kill go check out this piece of Americana. Cool collection and lots of souvenirs for Pierce fans.
Wait time
What an awesome collection of Pierce-Arrow cars and other old-tymey automotive swag. The staff is super-knowledgeable and the pieces in the collection are fascinating. You absolutely have to stop by if you're in Buffalo and check it out.
10 Stars! It's an incredible showcase of amazing cars built in Buffalo, with thousands of automobile memorabilia. We were mesmerized. The new addition housing the Frank Lloyd Wright gas station is amazing, and this is a must see. Hours are seasonal, 11-4 Saturday and Sunday during the winter. Admission is $10 adults $5 16 and under. Bring your camera, and bring a kid so they know the history of our city.
I was supposed to be picked up at 4:30. It is now 5:30. If surgery is canceled I will no longer use there see ic
I've wanted to go for some time. It just worked out and we enjoyed the tour so much. The people there was so knowledgeable about the exhibits and easy to talk with. I think it's a very under exposed jewl in our city.
As we live in Western NY we have said that we wanted to go here for a number of years. We finally got there and were impressed with the amount of items on display. Not only are there cars and motorcycles but also bikes. The Frank Llyod Wright Filling Station is actually located in the building. We were disappointed that we could not walk through it. If you are a car buff and into early models you will definitely enjoy this place. I do think it would be lost on the younger generations as it is now.
Nice little side trip in Buffalo

Unbelievable pieces of history.
Public holiday
Wow.
Great for old car buffs. Has a replica of a gas station designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Must see!
So many vintage autos, bicycles, and memorabilia.
Beautiful cars, Pierce Arrows, Duesenburg, etc. As well as classic motorcycles. The Frank Lloyd Wright's gas station reproduction is beautiful and interesting.
Stopped by not knowing what to expect and that’s an accurate idea of how my visit went. It was nice seeing such vintage cars in great condition. The only downside I had was I truly had no idea what I was looking at sometimes. Some reviews say the information given is overwhelming, I don’t think there was enough in some areas. Plus, some things there that just seemed out of place and I couldn’t find a connection.
Excellent Buffalo and automotive history
Great museum. Loved all the car's and history
Definitely would recommend taking a visit, very nice staff, lots of history to gaze at and learn from
We had a great time. Definitely family fun and car enthusiasts will love it.
A lot of cool cars. There isn't much in terms of an educational experience (placards explaining the history, any kind of critical take on cars, etc) but it is a cool collection of stuff.
Amazing experience
Very nice visit. Great memorabilia and knowledgeable staff.
Very nice museum of transportation. Focusing on Buffalo based industries.. everyone from old Velocipedes to bikes to motorized bikes to motorcycles, to novelty cars and of course luxury vehicles from long ago
Very cool with lots of Buffalo transportation history that I never knew. Worth the visit
Lots of cool antique cars and memorabilia to look at. Staff is very friendly and provided great service!
If you like cars this is a must.
Hidden gem in Buffalo. Worth the visit even if you're not a car guy.
Very charming and extensive collection of bicycles and of course cars for the modest size of the museum. Also the reproduction of the Tydol Gasoline stationed designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is not to be missed !

$11–15
They have a great collection of cars and car memorabilia. The Frank Lloyd Wright gas station is here. We were here for a corporate event and they did a great job of hosting over 300 people.
Awesome collection of antiques
Some of the pieces in the exhibits are placed too far from the roped off area, to able to read the placards placed with the piece. Otherwise, it's a great place to visit. Especially on a cold winter day.
Wonderful displays
Great museum, owners were so nice. Great displays and beautiful cats and motorcycle and bikes.
Beautiful cars. Amazing Frank Lloyd Wright Gas Station. I'm glad I happened upon it. Definitely stop in if possible. You shouldn't miss it for the price.
Fantastic.
Good place to see
Very Interesting well worth the price.Ok
70,000 sq ft collection of cars and automobilia. Probably the best I've ever seen.

A great experience, loved the Frank Lloyd Wright service station
Great museum with a wonderful women in transportation section. We really enjoyed seeing all the details in the Frank Lloyd Wright service station.
Really recommend seeing the great vintage cars and Buffalo history the museum has to offer.
Our Covette Club had a great time. The Sandoro's are very gracious hosts.
1 hr+
Only a few cars. . Lots of memorable. Much better auto museums to visit.
If into vintage classic cars + local history a must. Muscle cars bicycles and motorcycles. .
Price for adult entry
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful cars. Completely worth it.
Great place!! Friendly and informative staff! Love the copper gas station.
No
Took my father and we loved it thank you!!!
Pretty cool collection of historical automotive bits .
So cool. Amazing showroom of classics! I mean amazing, and the gas station is nuts
Nice collection of Pierce Arrow cars, bicycles and related items
Buffalo transportation will take care of all of your medical transportation needs
Amazing trip through America's world of cars, motorcycles, penny farthing bicycles. The majority of the two and four wheel vehicles are gleaming, spotless and worthy of additional acclaim. The beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright gasoline station is indoors at this very large museum. Docents are on hand to answer questions. The rest rooms are sparkling clean. Free parking and there is easy access for wheelchairs.
Great place!
Great vintage car museum located downtown near other waterfront attractions. Entry is $10.00 each and displays are beautiful. Free self parking. If you are a car buff, don't miss this place. We were told they have more displays and are planning to expand. They also host special events like weddings here.
Reservation recommended
Would give 0 stars if I could. They neglected to let us know when we came in and they took our money that they were having an event and that they were in the process of closing parts of the museum. As we were looking at different cars the owner let us know we had to move so an area could be blocked out. We explained that we weren't aware that this was an issue because it hadn't already been blocked off. He was VERY rude to his paying customers. We should have been made aware of the event and that some areas may be closed and they shouldn't charge full price for parts of a museum.
Nice musuem right near downtown. Definitely cool for those who love cars, both classic and and old timey. Definitely worth the price of admission ($12).
Great place to check out some local transportation history.
It was much more than I expected. I expected just memorabilia from Pierce-Arrow cars and buffalo-related transportation items. But the displays on antique and vintage bicycles as well as other period-related collections (toys, Valentine's cards etc.) Were incredibly interesting. Come for the cars, stay for the bicycles and motometer ornaments.
Interesting. More other cars than Pierce Arrows. Very good on the early history of Pierce Arrow.
A must visit place. Infinite collections of vintage automobiles. Private museum, however the owner is very friendly and loves sharing his experience.
Another Buffalo gem. Great car and bicycle collection. Impressive Pierce, corvette, and Duesenberg examples. The Frank Lloyd Wright filling station is an incredible bonus. Great for car buffs, FLW enthusiasts, and Buffalo history.
My dad loved it. Nice, wide easy walkways. Lots of information. Well knowledgeable staff. Friendly attitudes. We came across it by accident, it is really just a non-assuming building. Huge on the inside, you really don't expect much from the outside. Wish we lived closer, my husband and dad would be there all the time
Nice collection and you can't beat the price!
Nice family place to go in Buffalo. Free parking.
The pierce arrow museum is incredible. I visited September 5, 2019. Jim Sandoro and everyone there was very welcoming and full of information. The collection they have is second to none. I highly recommend anyone to visit there and I will definately be back again. They have pierce arrow cars and memorabilia and also many others cars and signs. They have the frank lloyd wright filling station model aswell. A++
Great history!!
A must see!
Gotta go. Our amazing auto history!!
I want for Toyota training ( a private event) the museum is beautiful with some great transportation stuff. I enjoyed the expensive old classic cars and the old bicycles.
Amazing collection, Great tour and amazing history preservation
Nice museum but wish it was a little bigger and not as expensive.
Nice place to visit.
Great museum in Buffalo. Well worth a visit. I recommend spending at least an hour here. There’s a lot of information, great cars, and a gas station designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. If you’re interested in American automobile history, you have to go here. $10 entry is well worth it!
Great place to visit. Lots to see. You won't be disappointed
Beautiful cars. And all kinds of automobile related items. Also unusual bicycles and a few old motorcycles. Go around twice. the Frank Lloyd wright gas station built from original plans is Amazing!
No
Fantastic collection of antique cars and car related item and replica of a Frank Lloyd Wright designed service station.
A truly unique museum with an interesting collection of cars, and a Frank Lloyd Wright filling station. The docents were very friendly and excited to share their knowledge.
Such an amazing experience! So many beautiful old cars and car memorablia, as well as antique bicycles. The Frank Lloyd Wright filling station was a sight to see. I wish gas stations looked like this now-a-days. A must see for anyone, young or old.
Going out to this museum was really cool. It was smaller but a good size for you to be able to see and appreciate everything. Beautiful cars, engines, motors, motorcycles, bicycles, ect.
Had a great time people that worked that told us about different items in there.Thank u
Beautiful display of historic pieces from the auto industry and more! Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Fairly good museum, but not great. If you're in Buffalo and you like old cars, this place is worth a visit.
Amazing!
Great museum to stop in if you are in Buffalo. Lots of beautiful antique pieces restored, very informative and fun. We talked to Tim who worked at the museum; he was extremely knowledgeable about the town and the pieces in the museum. Must stop and see!
Outstanding
Really neat place, had a nice time learning about the history and viewing some nice classic cars. Well worth the price of admission (~$10)
Ladies working are fabulous
No bags allowed so forget your camera bag for this place. They can't be bothered to check content of your bag.
Amazing amazing place. I would recommend to any real car historian. Very knowledgeable and amazing stories. The guide even took me after the tour and showed me an amazing part of car history that was found under someone's swimming pool! I came from Montreal blindly to buffalo but would return JUST for these cars and this amazing staff. I wish I had gotten the guides name but if you get a short lady with black curly hair you are in luck!
It was a wonderful experience.can't wait to bring my son he is going to love these cars from the past.
Great car museum that's a must see for a car guy
Great place to take kids to see the history of Transportation in Buffalo.
Very cool place.
Great exhibit of all things transportation in Buffalo. Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, muscle cars, race cars, classic and antique autos restored like new.
(Translated) Love the Bugetti (Original) Love the Bugetti
They had a lot of cool items on display
Great place for your motorhead. Just drop them off and pick them up once they realize your not there. May want to tape your number to your motorhead's back as they may slip and fall over their own drool. May cuase your motorhead to start on their own project or continue the one that's currently taking up space in the garage/sitting in the front yard with a tarp over it. If you yourself are a motorhead have fun!
$11–15
Great venue to host the Tesla event
Great collection of transportation items on display. Frank Lloyd Wright gas station is worth the trip to see.
Good old cars and some of my favorites
Very nice staff, very interesting pieces on display! Great for the whole family.
Visited the museum when I came to Buffalo for the arts festival back in June 2016. Some really rare cars. The 1948 Playboy was certainly a treat to see. I've seen a Peirce-Arrow cars before in other museums and this museum has the largest collection of the Buffalo-based car manufacturer. There is talk of expanding the museum and when it happens I'll make another visit.
So much to see. Some very cool classic cars and motorcycles.
Amazing place wonderfully set up. Outstanding collections of cars, documents and memorabilia. The filling station is a masterpiece inside the museum. The staff is great.
Nice place to go and see the history Buffalo made to the automobile
The wife and I were in town unexpectedly. Decided to check this place out. Stayed about minutes and looked at the vehicles. It was kind of meh. If you have nothing better to do, it may be worth a visit.
Weekend
Excellent!
Wonderful museum and staff!!
A great place to visit. Jim and his wife are ready to go above and beyond for a enjoyable visit
Top notch collection!
What a fun place to visit for everyone
Great experience
A gem of an experience. Staff was informative, but didn't hover. Amazing collection.
A step back in time!
Found this place by accident after getting out of a class at the airport early, and needing to kill some time. Not quite the selection I imagined, but in no way was that a bad thing. Very interesting collection that I guess gets rotated through, and the staff/owners are very knowledgeable! Also, some very special cars with very special stories/history are there. Not what you would expect, in a good way.
Gotta love the history this place preserves.
All our family had such a great time at this museum. So many great cars. Thanks to the stuff that recommended a place around to have a dinner.
Awesome, can't wait to go back!
While it costs $12 to get in, there are a lot of nice things to look at. Beautiful cars, friendly staff. Have some electric vehicles before we think of them. So many styles and plenty to look at. If you enjoy cars or classic styles, this is a good place to go
It is important to remember that the bulk of this exhibit is made up of one man's personal collection. It is a gift to the city of buffalo that should be cherished as it reminds them of their glorious past. If that is not enough, be sure to see a full size rendering of Frank Lloyd Wright's vision of a gas station/service centre. It is truly exciting because of where it sits on the timeline. It points the way from Greycliff to Falling Water.
Very cool place. Had Tesla event here also was cool.
You GOTTA see this place!
Loved the old cars
Very nice
Really cool place!
Cool place!!
We had an in depth tour with Jim Sandoro, saw behind the scenes and previews of future exhibits. Buffalo has a treasure and should be very proud. My personal favorite was the Frank Lloyd Wright gas station. Stunning!!!
Awesome
Buffalo has everything that is proper
A great place for car enthusiasts, or historic information on the auto history of buffalo and wny.not expensive to get in and photos welcomed.
This is a really excellent hidden gem in Buffalo. The recreated Frank Lloyd Wright gas station is quite unique and interesting. The collection is a bit random in places but comprehensive for it's showcase of regionally produced and rare vehicles
Great collection, and by the owner's words, it's just 20% of all he has to show, so much more to come in the future. Worth visiting.
For anyone interested in Buffalo history and or transportation history this is a place to go and learn
Interesting
Had some many great thing to see
This was a great museum...definitely worth the time to visit.
The museum is relatively small, and houses a very eclectic collection of what is more accurately described as "stuff" than anything else. While some desplays have lengthy explanations, other artifacts have almost no information, and appear somewhat random. The Frank Lloyd Wright filling station is interesting, but also comes with very little information, so it's best to wait for one of the periodic guided tours.
A must stop for gear heads
First time being here and I love it! Great place to visit and to see everything. Dad and I were there for two hours.
No
If you like old classic cars this is your place. Museum minders are very informative and friendly. A nice experience for car buffs.
(Translated) It's worth paying back (Original) Warto zwrócić
Nice set up have lots to look at good to bring younger generation so they can learn
Not what it was sadly but still worth a trip.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Gas Station makes it worth the visit. The displays could be much improved. They need to employ a Display Artist/Designer.
5 star all the way
Fantastic museum!! There's a collection of classic bicycles that's just incredible as well as an amazing assortment of beautiful classic cars including a gorgeous Duesenberg, a couple of one-off Corvettes, a Playboy car (yes, a Playboy car- Hugh Hefner got the name Playboy from the car!) and many stunning Pierce Arrows, along with a bunch of other wonderful cars. Additionally, there's a row of classic motorcycles on display and a ton of car-related items (e.g. horns, lights, gauges, etc). There's also a gas station on display that was built in 2014 inside the museum using Frank Lloyd Wright's original plans (he designed it in the 1920s, but one wasn't built at the time). It's a real sight to behold! The museum has a good collection of items for sale, including very nice shirts (I got a long sleeved, button down shirt with the Wright gas station logo on it). I highly recommend checking out this museum!! It's really worth the time.
Wow! So much to see!
Cool place! Lots of vehicles & other items you've never seen before including the Jello wagon purchased from The Pickers! Frank Lloyd Wright gas station was pretty cool, too.
If you like old cars, its worth the time to check it out.
Wonderful museum
Nice place
Wonderful collection of vehicles and a most see place
Lot,s of information,perfect cars,motorcycles,pedal cycles
My kid loved the vintage car collection, he was amazed with the bicycle collection, very organized and entertaining place for all ages.
Nice museum with many different things along with the Pierce Arrow cars, motorcycles and bicycles.
Beautiful museum
Awesome
Changing exhibits and vehicles. Frank Lloyd Wright filling station looks great. Cars of various eras displayed. Bicycle exhibit this year. I've been twice in five years. Wheelchair and scooter accessible. Reasonable price.
(Translated) Many old car. (Original) Muchos auto antiguo.
They have a nice collection of old cars and bikes
Lots of cool things
Loved all the cars would recommend for older children but my 4 year olds loved it.
Wonderful experience!
Ok
Terrufic, interesting place. Lots of Pierce Arrows, but many others, too. Very limited hours, only open Fridays and Saturdays. Knowledgeable guides, too.
A pleasant surprise!
Visited the Pierce Arrow museum while on a trip to Buffalo, and I am so glad I took the time see it. Great collection of classic automobiles, bicycles, and auto memorabilia. The Frank Lloyd Wright designed gas station inside is so well designed and functional.
Some if the most iconic cars you will ever see. I just wish there were more room for some of the phenomenal cars they have in the collection. You need to revisit often as the cars on display change frequently.
Lots of artifacts from the early automobile industry ... Frank Lloyd Wright designed fueling station ...
Amazing a Must see
Lots of antique cars and memorabilia to look at. The food was very good.????
Great variety, friendly staff, cool collection.
No wait
Great dipiction of Buffalo NY history from a different perspective
We are members of the Saratoga Auto Museum. This is a really fine museum.
Weekday
Great collections of cars. Tour guide was very passionate about his job!
Pretty good museum.
very very disappointed. my husband and son were looking forward to going there for several months now, when we got there they took our money no questions asked said come on and go into the back room lots of cars back there also. we're walking to the museum and almost everything is roped off for some party that they're having tomorrow night with sahlens. I only got to the back area where there was no rope off and just a couple of cars, a gentleman came back and told us we had to leave from that area because they're getting ready for an important party the next day. I said that would have been good to know before you took our money that only one-third of the museum is open to the public today. And he said oh well. I was quite disappointed and went up front to find the museum's director or manager, and of course go figure, it was the same guy that told me off. so I went back to that gentleman and told him how sorry I was and I couldn't complain to anybody higher up than him. He kind of giggled and smiled. I said but I will go and talk and write my reviews and he said to go ahead and write whatever you want to whoever you want. bad press is great press we enjoy it. I also pushed the fact that I was upset that they took our full amount for admission, but said nothing that we were going to have limited access to the museum. And he pretty much said oh well, I will never ever recommend that anybody goes there. I think it's very sad that big money from donators like Sahlens trumps over small individual customer.
Transportation from all eras. Very interesting
We enjoyed the museum, although it's going to need variation on its displays so it doesn't turn into a one trip type of place.
Buffalo history. Beautiful collection of vintage automobiles and other stuff.
Marvelous exhibits
Nice place if you like cars
Good place to see some pieces of American automotive history. Some unique examples of rare cars built here and other places too.
This place was awesome! Some very nice pieces of history are preserved here.
Loved it
We had a great visit to the museum and especially enjoyed the collection of bicycles. It was really impressive to experience so much of Buffalo's bicycle history in person.
Awesome. Many Antique Autos, Motorcycles, License plates, pictures, Bicycles, gas pumps , t-shirts. Very interesting. Go, take Your camera. You will not be disappointed.
Great collection of cars. Nice tour guides. Amazing experience
“A pleasant surprise!” Have to admit I won tickets to this museum but was pleasantly surprised how professional and informative it was. I would've paid the admission price in full if I knew how well run and well stocked this museum is. A little treasure of history right here in our downtown area. Don't miss it, the Frank Lloyd Wright gas station design
I really enjoyed this place. Nice folks running the show. Very informed about Pace Arrow and other displays. The highlight: An art deco gas station that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright but was never built. One small thing: They should have more information on each car, such as the features that make the cars unique. Mostly they only have the type of car and year it was built.
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of transportation. It had bikes, carriages, Motorcycles, and cars,
Amazing collection so much more than the name indicates. for example life sized Frank Lloyd Wright gas station replica.
A must visit place in Buffalo. Early Harley Davidson, Frank Lloyd Wright gas station. Great stories of cars, collecting, and Buffalo
Amazing place! Thank YOU for keeping so much beautiful rolling History Alive in WNY! A true WNY treasure!
Such an amazing experience.I never knew there was so much there.
Very interesting piece of buffalo history. Definitely worth walking through and Tim the guide was great!
Great place to see the Pierce Arrow cars of a time gone past.
Lots of neat vehicles & other memorabilia. The Frank Lloyd Wright gas station was nice as well!
Great museum in Buffalo.
No wait
Interesting place, not hard to find.
AWESOME place for a taste of forgotton buffalo history. a great collection of local and exotic historic collectibles. and a tribute to a master architect frank Lloyd wright.
An amazing collection of cars and other transportation. The Frank Lloyd Wright gas station inside is very impressive; tremendous amount of Buffalo transportation and manufacturing history.
Design by FLW never built by FLW maybe not a good idea to store the gasoline over a fireplace!
Very interesting Museum. Definitely a must-see
What a wonderful museum. The History of the Pierce Arrow was something I did not know well. They have a nice collection of cars and bicycles along with a lot of other automobiles and motorcycles. The workers were very knowledgeable about the Pierce Arrow and were able to answer all our questions! I highly recommend this museum if you are in Buffalo and have an hour or so to spend there.
I've lived in Buffalo my whole life, and only just went here for the first time recently. It was extremely interesting, definitely unique place to spend a day or just a few hours, and I was really pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed myself! Definitely worth taking a look if you're interested in cars at all.
Amazing!
Some very unique cars and memorabilia, Low cost admission and free parking. I would visit again.
really cool museum, a lot of local history
Bunch of beautiful cars there. I was there to see Tesla electric cars.
An immense collection of transportation memorabilia. We loved the collection of bicycles. It was really neat to see some types of bicycles we've only seen in books. I do wish there had been more docents to answer questions or more signage giving information on everything displayed.
Are you into classic cars? And auto memorabilia? This is a real find, that offers a lot to look at!
3rd time visiting the museum and the exhibits just get better and more interesting. If you're any kind of Buffalo automotive history buff or transportation in general this is the place. The Frank Lloyd Wright filling station is a sight to behold.
Visited on
Such a cool place with such great history. The people are knowledgable and very friendly, always up for a question. The Frank Lloyd Wright filling station is such a radical and beautiful design. It takes about an hour and change to wander through and see the displays.
This is a wonderful place to visit!
Real gem in the City of Buffalo for car lovers.
Great place, awesome cars
A great piece of Buffalo history.
Neat cars but expensive to get in
This place is worth the price of admission so many exhibits packed into a smallish museum. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to bring car enthusiasts or fans of history.
Price for adult entry
My daughter and I loved the museum.
Well worth the admission. The staff was very friendly!
We were very surprised with how big this museum is and how much there is in it. There are so many different forms of transportation and its history like motorcycles and bicycles and cars. The Frank Lloyd Wright Filling Station was just amazing also. We love this museum and we can't wait to go again when they expand.
Very cool place. My family and I came here about 2 year ago. We spent a couple hours looking at the various cars and related memorabilia. I've seen some negative reviews that it's too small or costs too much. If you aren't a true automotive enthusiast, yes this is not the place for you. If you truly love cars you'll enjoy every part. The day we were there wasn't very busy and the gentleman that was working spent a lot of time showing us various cars and answering our questions.
Love this placed. Wished there was more docent led tours with the price of the admission ticket.
If you haven't been here, you definitely need to put this on your list of places to go. Lots of great Buffalo history! Extremely knowledgeable staff as well.
Great collection. If you're thinking this is just another collection of an eccentric millionaire, it isn't. Each car has a story. Gems include an old FBI car used for bullet testing, the Bewitched car and the Playboy built in Buffalo. Motor head or not, you need to see this collection. If for nothing else, the craftsmanship, engineering and design that defined the U.S. economy before the Big 3 gave way to the imports. Good luck on the expansion of the museum.
A special afternoon with the owner giving our group the VIP treatment.
An amazing collection of Pierce Arrow motor cars and other automobiles and memorabilia with a link to Buffalo, NY. automotive history. Also houses the Frank Lloyd Wright designed filling station. Venue may also be used for events, weddings, meetings, etc. A must see for automotive enthusiasts visiting the Buffalo area.
Wonderful, a must see.
I was expecting only pierce arrow cars, but discovered they made bicycles and other stuff, and museum had other brands of cars and interesting motor related items. Met owners, very nice folks, say they rotate items in that have stored in other locationd
Very interesting museum.
This museum was somewhat interesting. I bought a t-shirt here.????????????????✨????
Excellent and well worth a visit.
The museum didn't seem very interesting from outside, but once inside, I was amazed with all the cars and bikes and historic objects. Would suggest everyone that is interested in 19-20th century!
A rare look at a classical age of automobiles. Also a one of a kind has station designed by the late Frank Lloyd Wright.
Price for adult entry
There for a dinner party, I'll go back when I have more time to explore.
Frank Lloyd Wright gas station and many of the cars and bibcycles are awesome, but also cluttered with junk.
Very cool! Loved seeing the bikes and old cars. Such a fascinating piece of Buffalo history.
There's more to see and learn than just old cars. Very informative.
Free parking!! $10 to get in to see the most amazing collection of Pierce Arrow memorabilia as well as priceless, one of a kind beautiul vehicles, a Frank Lloyd Wright gas station replica too! Very knowledgeable people there for any questions about anything there. So much to see, this is my second visit, I'll be back! They switch things around and get new cars on loan so one visit just won't do! I say bring back hood ornaments! What fun! I understand they will be expanding, this is great news! You can rent space inside for parties which would be cool! Check it out!
Im.here today and it's just sad that all they can bother to show you is the outside of cars...cant put hoods up to see engines or open doors to see inside. Asked why on one car and the guy was like...omg no that's on loan...like because it's no theres you cant look inside it cause there afraid your eyes will break it...very sad...dont waste your time...just saying
Lots of stuff to see!!
Excellent experience . Very nice for car lovers and kids . Friendly staff . Allow 2-3 hours only
Great staff, reasonable price, awesome transportation related gifts and quite an amazing collection. If you are looking for something to do in Buffalo especially if you are a gearhead stop in and visit!
Fabulous...more than just a car museum....a must stop for anyone interested in American history..you will not be disappointed...free parking
Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff coupled with a meticulously maintained collection of automobile history made this a highlight of my vacation to Buffalo. I will be coming back during my next trip.
I'm giving it 5 stars because it was a great collection of beautiful cars. That said, this is a museum in need of a curator. It looked more like a function hall with old cars jammed against the walls. It seemed that half the space was taken up with large round tables as if they were preparing for a wedding reception. You couldn't thoroughly enjoy the cars because of the way they were displayed in the small amount of space that they were granted. This place should either be a function hall or a car museum because right now they're trying to be both and they seem to have lost they're focus.
If you at all like automobiles or Frank Lloyd Wright, you must visit this museum. Wonderful collection!

The prettiest collection of cars I've ever seen. They rotate the collection in the showroom every so often. Worth going back once a year to see what's new... Or old, as the case may be.
Google tells me I visited 6 days ago, which I did not -- I catch the bus next door. But I HAVE been there, and it is bursting with awesome cars. No boring, dust museum -- this one is all chrome and glass awesomeness!
Excellent and beautifull
If you love old cars and history this is a perfect stop if your in downtown Buffalo.
$11–15

Clean, magnificent, and complete examples of fine Buffalo area vehicles.
Interesting displays, airey, spacious.
Took my Dad a WW 2 vet to tour the museum he absolutely loved it and gave me quite an education on the Autos. Was a special afternoon that I will always cherish. If you haven't gone yet it definitely is worth it.

Very friendly, helpful guides, great with kids
Really enjoyed our visit here. The Frank Lloyd Wright gas station was impressive. Some beautiful cars are on display. Staff was very friendly and informative.
Great vehicles and gifts
Nice museum, could be a bit cheaper since it's so small, but a great find on a rainy day !
Awesome cars, cool history
Excellent collection of Pierce Arrow vehicles as well as Frank Lloyd Wright designed but never built gas station
Loved it!
Really great amazing items not just cars
Massive collection full of gorgeous automobiles, memorabilia, car parts, toys, clothing, and includes the history of bicycles, the Pierce Arrow company, and Playboy. If you are a gear head and thoroughly read or want to experience everything in a museum, then expect to spend over three hours during your visit. If you simply want to cross this place off your bucket list, you can breeze in and out in under an hour, but definitely get a picture of the $2,000,000 Corvette, the luscious Duesenberg with floral upholstery, and the Buffalo that looks like Elvis Presley. The museum currently (2018) comprises two large spaces with a second building opening in the future. Volunteers gladly offer information and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the collection and famous visitors to their museum. The first room can be overwhelming with a lot of newspaper clippings and signs to read and the lights over the vehicles are too low and too bright for adequate selfies. However, the objects on display were clean, spaced well, and were relevant to the themes in each section. The second room has vehicles around the circumference with a full-scale Frank Lloyd Wright designed filling station as the focal point. Due to OSHA regulations, visitors cannot actually enter the station and second-floor displays are off-limit temporarily. The gift shop is chock-full of nice t-shirts, polos, and postcards and there are well-marked restrooms and a couple of chairs. The site is handicapped-accessible, but if you have the choice of a wheelchair over a cane, take your wheelchair or at least a stroller with a built-in seat. In sum, a must-see museum aimed at adults who appreciate cars.
Great collection of classic cars, primarily Pierce Arrow, but also Auburn and others.
Interesting amount of period memorabilia.
Really cool transportation history museum. Wish we could have been able to go inside the service station but otherwise a fun time looking at old cars and bikes.
Very nice museum
I enjoyed this museum. It had Pierce Arrow history and even some other vehicles on display.

Excellent collection!
Awesome collection of transportation featuring many made in Buffalo NY - including the "Playboy" car which Heffner named his magazine after.
Awesome cars and great history.
Wonderful, low stress visit into the great history of transportation
Very nice place
Lots to see, unbelievable collection of Pierce Arrow cars, plus lots more. Gas caps, hood ornaments, period dated fashions (even a Poodle skirt), gas pumps, motor cycles, bicycles and so much more. Lots of manufacturing history. All so interesting.
So glad I decided to go on re-opening day. It was a great experience. Beautiful displays. The staff was also very knowledgeable and shared some good stories and information.
Wonderful museum! Not to be missed.
Negligent property owner. Owns a handful of decrepit buildings detracting from revitalizing neighborhoods; and a considerable number of vacant lots that are such because of being razed by him for no purpose.
Very fun and clean
Amazing cars and I love all of the history here. The Filling Station is an amazing add on. Thanks so much for having this place here.
