Always a pleasure to go. I have a boy (5 years) and girl (3). The place is small enough for them to not get lost yet run around freely. It's also packed with information and fun activities. For the older ages there are far more exciting experiences. Totally worth going. Also- the gift shop has a few items that are very low priced so if you want leave with a little 'memory to go item' you have a few fun things to choose from. We've been there many times and never get tired of it.

GREAT PLACE - TERRIBLE FOOD...I booked a B-day party for my girl, the experience was great, the team coordinating everything was great, my daughter and her friends had so much fun! I fully recommend it for kids really interested on the theme. !!!!! BUT!!!! the issue was with their vendor for the food and beverages. Be careful!! you MUST get all food from them and the SERVICE AND FOOD was terrible. I ordered Pizzas, coffee, cheese and veggies platters. The coffee jar was empty, it was supposed to last for 12 cups but it only had 2. OK they refilled it and at that point was not a big issue but once we got the food, we said: C'MON! The Pizzas were all burnt out and cold!! we didn't get enough juices for all the kids and the veggies all dried out and terrible... The personnel from the cafeteria (their vendor) left so there was no one to answer for the food (They close at 5pm so of course at 4:50 people left . The people from the Cosmodome tried to contact them to no avail and help us to warm the pizzas (1 slice at a time!!) so the party not only ended half an hour or more late but it was a very stressful time for us and the parents who by that time had arrived pick up their kids. I know the food is not expected to be the best one on a kids party, but one is expecting the minimum and what we got was not that. That company is unprofessional and it affected the Cosmodome reputation! The supplier name is "LA BRIGADE VOLANTE" be careful... At the end they didn't charged for the pizzas but never called to apologize or explain. Shame... A couple of photos... as expected kids only ate a quarter of the slices... waste...

Interesting space history and exhibits. Went on weekday so the interactive exhibits were all closed, so I recommend going on the weekend and bringing kids. They'll love it.

Interesting way to introduce space missions to everyone. Bad food, weird management system. The reproduction off the shuttle is impressive, but being retired since 6 years (the shuttle) make it a curiosity.

The rooms were impeccably clean, well organized and the activities attractive. The showroom was also spectacular with models of all the planets. The staff are helpful and patient. Parking is huge and free. (Original) Nous y sommes allés avec les enfants et nous avons bien aimé notre visite. Nous avons choisi la mission Rêve impossible de la conquête spatiale et marche sur la Lune. Les salles étaient d’une propreté irréprochable, bien organisées et les activités attrayantes. I was very impressed with the quality of the museum exhibits. Loved seeing the walkthrough solar system. There was a good selection of activities for younger kids (giant snakes (black holes) and ladders (rockets), library section, Lego area, ... The Mars virtual mission was fun and interactive. Generally very clean and well maintained. It's changed alot since when I came in 1997.

The expo is really nice and tho whole experience was enjoyable even as an adult. It's time to update the small games experience though, did the mars thing and it's outdated considering everything going on now. We be nice to show the new rovers, talk about SpaceX, etc. Games are pretty simple and far from being visually nice. Some free phone apps are more interesting to look at. I'm sure some fan online would be interested in updating the graphics for free. Would still definitely recommend for families

The staff was amazingly helpful and polite. They gave us several tips on other fun things to do around the city. We were given a phenomenal guided tour around a 1:1 scale model of the space shuttle. The permanent exhibits were also quite informative in both french and english. It was priced very well and during the time we were there the space was big enough to feel like it wasn't busy even with a small field trip of children there.

Came with a small group of seniors with develpmental disabilities. While we got a great deal on entrance fees the missions were not at all accessible in terms of pace to get from one station to the next. For people who cannot read, it was not at all accessible. Do not bother coming with people who are mobile slow or who have eyehand coordination issues or cannot read. Disappointed for this outing.

Love this place it has lot of new things to check out and list of missions. The inside space exhibition is fantastic. Worth visiting this place and can spend more than 3hrs here.

The interactive space missions to Mars/Moon are great but maybe not long enough. Would welcome more missions other than the main three with less narrative & more interaction. Coat check is not supervised, so you have to carry your coats around... speaking about asking for more missions ,I have some suggestions like "Venus: an Impossible mission" "The Milky Way: A galaxy of wonders! " , "Pluto: a very cold exo-planet" ,"Titan:- navigate on oceans of Methane"and last but not least"Journey into a Black Hole". Cafeteria often closed .

We have selected 2 missions the museum and the 4d movie. For the first mission to the Red Planet almost everything went as it should and we had a lot of fun. Emmanuel therefore came to our aid, and everything went well afterwards. A nice little museum that is quite excellent for children. At a very young age (below 6) you can visit the site and see the space exhibit as well as the solar system exhibit. It takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours to see it all, it is not really big yet for the $5 entrance fee it is well worth it. As children get older there are a lot more options such as missions, 4D movies and expeditions where you can utilise some space training or simulation equipment. Service was very nice and if you go at off hours it is very quiet, yet the cafeteria may not be open.

We had a guided tour but the guide did not show us some exhibits and we had to ask to be shown these exhibits. One word: BORING. I brought my kids here 3 years ago. Brought them back today to do a different mission. It basically felt the same. Way overpriced! 45$ to watch some videos on the moon landing and play some tacky video games. I regret going a 2nd time. These people who run it should go to Epcot at Disney and do the space shuttle mission, now that's an experience! I just can't understand why there's no effort to do a real simulation. And the museum is so small that they charge extra to do some of the activities in the shuttle. Shameful. Never again.

A nice place for older kids (7+) I was expecting something along the lines of the Kennedy Space Museum, so was a little disappointed. But if you have the right expectations, it's actually quite a cool place. A few sections were also closed off to the public due to Covid restrictions. I would say that the "missions" were a little long and our 6 year old lost interest after a while. The levels with interactivity were pretty good. The solar system to scale was a nice feature, as were the scale models of various rockets. The rockets themselves could've been arranged sequentially along with a better presentation of the development cycle and progression of the Soviet and American Space programs culminating in the moon landing. The staff in attendance were excellent, although you're on your own during your time there.

It is a nice place for a visit, but I would NOT recommended for a birthday party for young children (under 9 years old). We had our 6 year old party last weekend but they do not allow kids under 9 to do any of the interactive exhibits, yet they still charge full price for the party. Also, the food purchase for parties is mandatory, overpriced and not very good. We were also unlucky with our guide, who was not fluent in english and had trouble managing the kids.

1) The site and facilities were clean and we felt safe and comfortable. It was very welcoming. 3) As a museum, it could have a little more on display, and not all activities were available, namely the Shuttle Tour and Training Simulators, maybe next time... 4) There are currently three "Virtual Missions". We tried "The Outer Limits of the Cosmos". We were pleasantly surprised for the experience and look forward to doing the other two. We will definitely be returning for another visit. I rated it 3.5-4 stars, because of the closed Shuttle Tour and Training Simulators... and it was very disappointing when my three children witnessed other kids visiting those areas... apparently they were "testing" them. But the site was closed... just hard to explain that to little kids, why we can't go, while they can clearly see other children through the glass walls. Perhaps run your tests when guests are not present?

Not the best place I went... Parking is free, which I liked. Entry only 5$, which is good, but it's small compared to other "museums" I visited. Unless I missed a door, you can finish the exploration in less than an hour. Exploration "missions" I found were not worth it. 20$ each with taxes. One hour of mission. Mostly for children I think. What you did in the game did not change the outcome in the end. Could have been an hour video on different technologies and I would have found it more interesting. But...my daughter seemed to have loved it (she's 10).

Not much to do for younger kids, but for older kids there are a lot of activities, like trying to maneuver a space chair. The tour of the shuttle was all lecture and kids were hugely dissapointed they couldn't touch and turn any of equipment inside. It should be more interactive, considering there is a separate charge to see inside the shuttle.

Poor customer service--the front desk staff have very little time for customers but quite a lot of time for flirting. They have been abrupt and disinterested in helping with questions. We took an hour to reach this place and we could only visit the planets display which was amazing, but there is nothing else to do... other than a small box of lego. Unless you call to double check the availability of the space camp tour to see the space shuttle, dont waste your time. Also, the female employee and the entrance doesn’t know whats going on and another female employee at the shop was rude. What a waste of time.

We were waiting for the mission, first at the ticket office, then our turn, when our time came, they let us in, after watching the video, the mission started, no one knew what to do and where to go, people who entered in front of us, everyone was confused. After 10 minutes of reeling around the corridor, ,we went out to ask, they turned out to have technical problems. Confusion, all the people (20 people) were taken out, disorganized began to run and think what to do. The tickets were still served. All who were taken out were kept in a crowd. when technical problems were sold they sad that we gonna start all over again the mission, the people who bought tickets now ran forward us.Again waiting half an hour,we were tired and returned the money and left !! no one offered kompensation for our poor experience.my children were very disappointed and tired . very unpleasant experience.

The place was good maybe 20 years ago. But nowadays this is boring. The mission's experience is plain, outdated and needs renovation. the simulators are OK if they are available but very short. The whole thing: 4D movie, mission, Meusem, 1 simulation and the virtual experience lasted only 2 hours. This place is unique in Montreal/Laval but needs renovation.

It's a short 5 minute movie on a 42 inch screen. The 3D does not really add "depth" and the movement of the seats is very, very limited. Something more like “Grand finale!”. - It would be nice if there was a soundtrack playing in the showroom. A soundtrack similar to the one we hear in missions. Ce que j'aimerais voir à l'avenir : - La dernière pièce des missions pourrait être plus "grandiose". Un simulateur par exemple. Quelque chose qui fait plus "Grande finale!". - Ça serait plaisant qu'il y ait une trame sonore qui joue dans la salle d'exposition. Une trame sonore similaire à celle qu'on entend dans les missions. Les décors de l'exposition sont spectaculaires, une musique en trame de fond accentuerait le tout.

I've been bringing groups of middle school students from NYC to Space Camp Canada for over 14 years and can honestly say that they have had a fantastic time every year!! I have seen them cater to groups large and small. Their staff is bilingual and knowledgeable. If your child is interested in space travel, this is the place to go!!

Been in Montreal since ages, always watched that rocket replica in awe, thought lets go see whats there, The 60 minute games are very interesting, mind blown away Enjoyed it. Will go try other adventure game later. The games are basically a puzzle you design stuff on screen, answer questions, pick and configure stuff to meet your mission, play with some physics problem simulations on screen, all timed and you move from one room to another. No, not like one of those Escape games. Here Overall you learn cool stuff about interstellar travel ,planets , what it takes to create and launch a satellite and through engaging content , the game room interior is like from starwars spaceship, not kidding ! Camera and photos forbidden inside. Also tried the 4d thing they have , it was ok, would do it one time , but Great for kids. Overall cool place, there are movies near by if you want to go afterwards. Cheers!

I visited the cosmodome with my family and was overall pleased. However, the 4D experience was a disappointment since the seats were not moving. After bringing it up to the staff I was told that she can't do anything (credit/ refund) but will inform her technician.

When you go with your niece and nephew, the fun is 10 times more! I lived in Laval for so long and never had the chance to visit this place although it's 5 mn away from my home. I enjoyed it a lot! We took the full package that gives you access to the space adventure to Mars as well as the basic site visit to tour around and see the planets in their actual size and shape and look. Will be going back again maybe alone too to take more time to read and learn about the space.

The exposition is very small. The planets and sizes expo is genius, but the rest doesn't worth it. 4D cinema is not calibrated well and didn't impress us. The shuttle tour is of nothing. Only to feel the scale. The most interesting things to try here are the simulators. But not all of them work. Still we spent several hours here, but do not expect much.

My 2 and 1/2 year old boy loves it when he sees all of the planets and rockets, the missions lost his attention pretty quickly though. Even when I had to take over so we could get out of the room I found the stories old with choppy graphics, boaring story lines, I mean he could have been entertained better by the VR apps on my phone. Really enjoyed my visit. Not a really large museum but there were a lot of cool and interesting artifacts and exhibits. They even do an interactive camp for kids which looked like it would be lots of fun. The exhibits are in French and English. I'm a big space fan so this was really fun for me.

My son and his buddy loved it, they had a blast on the little missions and I enjoyed seeing them have fun. It's informative and they also liked the interactive games. All in all worth a visit.

Wonderful museum full of interactive games that make learning so much fun! The 'space missions' that you can do there are so cool, I've never seen anything like them in any other museum! My family and I have gone here twice because it is just so much fun.

Great place for kids to lear all about solar system. There's a real moon's piece in there!!! And an astronaute experience. The place is amazing!!
