This Museum is included in the category of Haute couture fashion house.
There is no cost - you just walk in and enjoy all the fabulous haut couture fashions on the Barbies - many of which are well known actors and celebrities. The mock fashion show, complete with photographers and models back stage is a highlight. I have been twice and there are so many Barbies on display, that there is always more to enjoy the next time.
My daughter is a big fan. It's our second year attending its a free expo and if your a barbie ???? it's a must see.
They have so much amazing barbies!! omg is my dream!
Really neat collection of Barbies (biggest in the world fyi). It’s completely free and easily accessible by Peel metro. The Barbies are some of the rarest and include dolls wearing haute couture. You can spend a nice 20mins-half hour looking around at all the different Barbies and even take a picture in the Barbie box. I wish there were more interactive aspects but overall a cool experience.
I am not a Barbie fan but my wife is, so we went to see it. Honestly it’s still interesting and it’s free! We costumes are well done. Wife gives it 5 stars.
Pretty neat free exhibit
Such a cute display! My niece loved it, definitely go if you have a Barbie fan in your group!
Fun little free exhibit. My 4 year old enjoyed it and even my husband seemed entertained. Only took about 30 minutes to really see everything.
Lots and lots and lots of Barbie! It was definitely worth a quick look.
I had a day out with my girl. We enjoyed it as much. Thank you
The expo brings out your inner child. With a large collection of Barbie dolls representing a variety of cultures, ethnicities, fashion designers, trends, famous artists, and a wide range of colours. It is free, and you can also go shopping at the mall. Children would definitely enjoy it as well.
fun place for kids and adults alike. it has barbies from movies and famous people
The Barbie Expo was AWESOME! It came as 3 generations both males and females and EVERYONE enjoyed it! Favorite part was the Barbie toy box where you can take pictures as if you were a doll. Hundreds of dolls on display, all placed in categories, and really cool set up. The expo was absolutely beautiful with a huge fountain in the middle, chandeliers, and clean. Well done!
What a lovely collection of Barbie! Wish I had this many Barbies growing up. Beautiful outfits, famous Barbies! Barbies from the past! Barbies from all over the world were my favourite! Best part is it’s FREE!
If you love Barbie’s, you will love it ! It is a fantastic exhibition , nice design and Free !
Super nice free expo. I thought it would be another expo about past barbie collections but I was surprised that it was actually beyond that. There are themes with amazing clothes. My kid and I had a blast.
One of the best Attractions at Montreal. Worth the visit for sure. Even my kids are not into Barbie but after visiting there, they were stunned to see so many barbie's from all over the world. They have all the Barbies ever made anywhere in the world and it was just Amazing. My kids and entire family loved it and the best part was it was all free.
This exhibit is really cool. I wasn't planning on going to it but my wife brought us. needless to say I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. You don't have to be a fan of the Barbie doll to appreciate its history. You could easily spend about an hour taking in all the dolls from different eras in history. 10/10 would visit again.
This was amazing! I couldn't believe the quality and quantity of barbie dolls. From all over the world.
A great free event for the little kid in you. See barbies from all over the world in outfits you could only dream of. This is a great way to spend an hour of your day. Bring your little one or go and reminisce.
This was the highlight of my week. What a beautiful display of Barbie Dolls. It brought back so much memories. They have created famous celebrities people as Barbie dolls, so cool. I had just seen the Christian Dior exhibit a few streets away and saw miniature version of his gowns on these Barbies! This is a must see exhibit if you grew up with Barbie.
Wonderful free exposition! So many great little costumes and you can even take your picture in a barbie box. The fountain in the center and the chandeliers add style. I wish some of the dolls had a better description on who made and designed each one rather than just the doll name but I enjoyed the barbies from around the world and they even had celebrity barbies. I was most impressed to find one with blue hair. I spent about an hour looking and taking pictures.
This was so fun, it was free, not too busy and just super fun to see such an amazing and iconic collection. I would’ve gladly paid to be honest but instead they were just taking make a wish donations which is super cool! An amazing event, so happy I was able to go! If you can, I highly recommend stopping by ! I loved all the little scenes they made with the barbies as well as the way they displayed them in light boxes with captions. There was a wide variety of new and old barbies. This is fun for anyone who has a mild interest in pop culture, nostalgia, fashion or dolls and miniatures!
I love it so many different types of barbies and they so diverse, I loved looking around I stayed there for over 30 mins just admiring all the different outfit , even tho I am not into barbies I love that place
Wonderful place for barbie lovers and also for fashionistas... Especially who love fashion designing..????
Beautiful expo. Many models special and unique. Amazing
Its lovely for young families. My little girl loved it. You'll need 30min. . Barbies are nicely displayed. Parking is hard to find. Expo is free.
This place is Barbie Haven for everyone. I visited with my daughter (9y) and we both enjoyed it. I was surprised to see so many Barbies. It was nice to see most nationality clothing on Barbie. Live that the expo is not interested by staff and you can take your time and enjoy it as much as you wish.
What a fun Suprise! We weren't planning on seeing this but came out of the subway and had to go. There are so many interesting concepts for Barbie. A great experience all around.
We nice place for small girls to explore and click photos.
This was such an awesome exhibition. Most little girls dream, I was excited to see the various types of Barbie out there. The designer Bob Mackie did a fabulous job on numerous pieces of dress for Barbie. Truly gifted.
It is having the best collection of barbies. The best part is that they also have the collection of barbies of most of the countries with their cultural attire. In addition to this, it has the collection of pop stars, wedding dresses, fashion show model with the different attires and models. Personally, I loved this place where one must visit, as it is one of the best places in Montreal. I am attaching some of the photos for sample.
Those who love Barbie will surely love this place. Awesome display.
I loved this expo, a lot of things to see and awesome the idea to make it free to the public. We had great time. Also congratulations for such nice work! Barbies from different countries were my favourite ones!
This expo brought so much good memories from my childhood. This is a nice activity to do if you love Barbie. The best of all is that it us free!!
Really nice! Free activity and nice collection of Barbies ☺️
Absolute must-see for Barbie collectors!! The Expo is free, and has decades upon decades of dolls, including high fashion Barbies, celebrity Barbies, international Barbies, and more. Highly recommend for anyone who has 30 minutes to spare ✨
Even if this wasn’t a free exhibit (but it is!) this is an awesome place to check out Barbies from the past and beyond (my past). The displays are fun ways that show Barbie interacting with her friends like we did playing with them as young girls (and boys). The celebrity Barbie are fun but the ones with the white faces are kinda creepy - you’ll know what I mean when you go. We spent 30+ minutes walking around and could have spent more or less depending on how big of a fan you are. A fun way to spend time reliving your youth.
I found this by accident and it was an absolute delight. So many dolls from all over the world, in so many incredible outfits. I loved the variety of themes in the displays! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes barbies or fashion or costumes!
The exhibit is underwhelming but the Barbie boxes where you can go inside to be real life “Barbie” was popular for taking pictures. You can just walk in, there isn’t even a check in process, so it wouldn’t hurt to drop in for 5 minutes.
Loved this blast-from-the-past exhibit - worth the visit if you’re in the neighbourhood. Has something for everyone - Barbies by the decades, geography, movies, famous people, historical events, etc. I especially enjoyed this because I studied fashion and the costume designs were something to behold. Has a life size Barbie box for great photo op!
My inner child emerged as I browsed through the Barbie showcases. The Barbies (all diverse and representative of various cultures/ethnicities) were beautifully presented. I would go back in a heart beat!
Free exhibit! The Barbies are surprisingly diverse, numerous and extremely well costumed.
The Barbie Expo is a visit for anyone that loves Barbie! There had to be a couple hundred different barbies. There was no admission fee and it was not too crowded on a Sunday as most of the stores in the mall were closed. It was nice to see the different barbies dressed up with attire from different countries like India, China etc. You also had a ton of movie actors and celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Cyndi Lauper and Farah Fawcett!
Super cool. We randomly walked in after seeing signs on the street and it was so much fun. Took us about 15 minutes to walk through everything but I'm sure you can spend more time if you slow down and take photos.
This Barbie expo is a nice cute little gallery in the heart of Montréal. Easily accessible by metro it has a lot of dolls. It’s an interesting place for children and Barbie lovers.
One word! Amazing and unique experience, beautiful barbie dolls. Heaven for little girls that love barbie dolls. A must see when in Montreal down town!
Was a great place to check out and escape the cold.Very pretty water feature and chandeliers make the space feel glamorous. The collection of barbies were layered perfectly along the wall allowing you to stroll at your own pace . This was a free expo and located in the down town core. I suggest walking from your hotel or uber as the gridlock is crazy with absolutely no place to park .
Amazingly beautiful dolls with incredibly detailed workmanship. A great way to kill a couple of hours. I deleted 1 star only because it was difficult to locate the exhibit as the signage was poor. That being said I found some great deals in one of the stores. I wouldn't recommend it for small children as the dolls are displayed at adult eye level.
Simply amazing what they have created!! Beautiful exhibition of Barbies and Kens. The expo is in the shopping mall, free entry, but if you wanna share some childhood memories with your kids or friends it’s definitely worth it! They expose barbies representing several countries, and some beautiful weeding dresses barbies, some of the barbies are inspired by Hollywood celebrities or famous movies and they even created a Barbie Runway show. And I could go on forever but honestly just go check it out for yourself before it’s gone... you won’t regret the detour. Secret spot not to miss: there is a human sized Barbie Box - so you can let a picture of yourself be taken and be immortalized as Barbie ☺️
