This was a really interesting Museum to me and I'm glad I took the time to finally go. The volunteers that are there to help you understand the history and the artifacts that they have in the museum, seem so interested and care about it's so much that you just can't help but discover an even greater appreciation for the history of the Chatham Marconi Center, and the radio and technology that existed to this time in our history in general. They even have a modern radio waves exhibit that lets you drive a sample drone to see how it works and why it works using the radio wave remote control.

When we arrived at the small building, we expected to spend maybe half-an-hour looking around. Between the video presentations, the displays of historical information (including a restored Enigma machine), and the temporary exhibit of women military pilots of WWII, we spent a good two hours there. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't have time to hit the Educational Building, but it has exhibits about more modern radio communication. A good, informative museum, especially for people interested in early wireless communication, Marconi, and WWI & WWII.

Jerry Johnson

Interesting, but small. If you are interested in older trans_Atlantic radio communications you will enjoy this, otherwise skip it.

Larry Krainson

Excellent and fascinating museum. The docents know their stuff and the content and history of the museum is fascinating. Did you know they received the Titanics SOS call way back when? Find out how the Enigma machine works and why it was nearly impossible to break the code. A place to spend a few hours learning about our amazing early wireless history.

If you have an interest in radio communication or 20th century history this is an interesting place to visit. While it appears to be a small museum we had no problem spending a couple hours here learning about Marconi and the site's importance during the war efforts. Nicely produced videos for each exhibit help explain what you are viewing. The museum admission allowed us to return for free in a 7 day period which was an added bonus.
