Very informative. Can be walked or driven. There are picnic tables and some hidden outhouses, so you could make it a decent outing if you wanted to. Close to Park's Blueberries, which is a nice stop if you're close by.

We just saw it on the map and decided what the heck and went to see the monuments and read the plaques. Glad we visited because there was a gap in my history of Canada and luckily a small part was filled in when we visited this monument.

A beautiful monument to an important historical figure. There are several placards on the site which provide you with some of history of the battle which took the life of many including Tecumseh.

Geri Sutts

Brendan Kennedy

Excellent little road side stop along the Thames River that connects you to your past.

Joe Regnier

Very insightful information made available for anyone interested in stopping to learn a bit about our history. It would be valuable to provide perspective from others involved in the war and specifically the battle at the Thames. The area is a nice rest stop for anyone that needs a break from the long curvy roads of Longwoods. Overlooking the Thames River, there are may picnic tables to setup and eat some lunch on your way. I didn't notice any washroom facilities but you are a quick drive from thamesville with plenty of places to find a washroom. This stop I wouldn't expect to be a major tourist attraction but it is a pleasant piece of heritage to experience.

The sculpture, grasses, and benches are a beautiful tribute to First Nations people, both past and present. The historical information on Tecumseh is well-presented and incredibly interesting. The site itself is a beautiful place on the Thames to stop for a rest or picnic.

Peaceful and Serene place to watch sunset and learn some history

Colin Barron

A must see as Tecumseh is one of the most significant figures in our history. After digging more into Canada's history from the First Nations perspective, I found both monuments very informative and moving.

Ron Shelby

An important historical site. The American victory over the British and their Native allies here guaranteed the safety of American settlers in Indiana, Michigan and Illinois. The death of the charismatic Tecumseh ended the Native aspiration of driving Americans out of the area.
