I went to the Anatomy of Death museum today with two friends and it was AMAZING. They were sooooo accommodating to My friends and her wheelchair. Truly an awesome place if you’re into things that are weird. There were antique embalming items and tools. A really great and respectful display going on there ????????‍♀️

This place was amazing. I plan on going back again. This place contained some of the most interesting items I've ever come across. The owner Todd is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the subject of death. The place was full of the dead but Todd brought everything to life.

Amazing place. Unique in everyway. The muesum is where it's at, lots of stuff to look at in small area. Be warned the two TV's have full blown human dissection and it's awesome. Learn so much in this place. Definitely recommend to those who like the creepy stuff. Don't forget your picture with a real skull at the end!

Drove 3 hours to see this place and let me tell ya, it was AMAZING. it was super informative and there was a crazy amount of different, wild things. I learned so much, bought some souvenirs, took a picture holding a real human skull, and had some really interesting conversations with the owner who by the way is such a genuine, nice dude. he was knowledgeable, has traveled all over, and had some pretty cool stories. the world could use more people like him!

Shop area is pretty cool and has a wide selection of home decor, jewelry, wet specimens, taxidermy, etc. Overall, a very fun way to kill an afternoon.

Just left here. We drove 2 1/2 hours from the west side of the state to check it out. I have to say it was well worth it. Currently the collection takes roughly 20 minutes to get through. Even though there are plans to expand it currently is quality over quantity. Seriously there is stuff in there that Ripley would give his left nut for. The oddities shop attached is also top knotch and reasonably priced. On top off all this Todd the owner/curator is really awesome and accommodating. Definitely could have talked to this dude for hours. If you are into this kind of thing this is a thing you will be into.

Awesome Experience! This small but mighty museum makes available for viewing everything used post mortem. I was amazed at the chemicals that go into a body to prepare it for a funeral. I didn't expect to see Todd's excellent collection of tribal death masks. Wow! He's invested a ton of time and love to put this collection together. The gift shop has something for everyone who is into morbid curiosities or Wiccan arts. Thanks, Todd, for a great visit and your knowledge.

We loved this museum. There is eclectic mix of skeletons, funerary items, and even some archeological artifacts. We brought our 5 year old and the owner was really nice and turned downed they music and turned off the video feed that has autopsy content while we were in the museum. The gift shop has an excellent collection of oddities for sale. We look forward to going back for another visit to see what new items have come into the collection.

This place is crazy amazing! As an unashamed fanatic, I was totally PSYCHED with the experience from start to finish. There were items from the garish(sooooo many skulls and funeral home memorabilia) to the downright heartwarming to the Goth-at-heart(adorable pink casket slippers that promise both softness and stretch). Curator Todd is a Cryptkeeper in his own right who will encourage you to test the scratch-and-sniff body bags. For those wondering about the price, you will not find a better use of ten dollars in the area of thanatology; come dressed light and leave all unwieldy items in the car. The museum area is extremely small but packed FULL as far as the eye can see. An additional caveat; there are TVs showing legitimate autopsy footage in the back.. if you are squeamish to that type of procedure, look down, but still watch your step!!The gift shop is full of lovely items from taxidermized bats to local grown artwork, t-shirts to coffin purses. If you haven't gone, I dare you to try and hurry in before I make it back.. I can't wait!!

Okay, so this may not be for everyone, especially if you're squeamish or feel faint easily. I went with a friend that has a similar interest. It was very fascinating to see everything in this place from old embalming items to tribal bones, etc. There is even a real video of an autopsy. It gave my friend and I a lot to talk about. There was even a gift shop with interesting items. I was so glad we went. The owner was very friendly and informative. He has a great collection. Highly recommended for something different.

Cute little shop of horror's. Was actually very interesting and informative but then I am a bit twisted. The owner was a very nice gentleman. The gift shop alone is worth the stop.

Everything is well described and laid out. The owner did a great job with the description card of the specific details of each key pieces. He was there for questions and regular conversation, nice guy. Will definently be coming back and for a scrap art spider! Would also highly recomend Alleycat junktiques(same owners), great deals on a wide variety of things.

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate my larger wheelchair something that has hindered me elsewhere. It was a amazingly wonderful experience. So many wonderful curiosities and deathly wonders to see. The oddity shop had lots of things to bring home. I will be back for sure. I will be bringing friends!

The guy who owns this place is awesome. And his collection is mind blowing. My fiance is interested in doing a photo shoot here so we'll 100% be going back! Btw, don't judge by the building's size. Because it'll fool you. The amount of information and things to see? Had my girl and I circling the place, reading everything we could for almost over an hour. We left with some unforgettable gifts and we even got to hold a real life human skull! I'll never forget that! Definitely a badass experience ????☠????

I found out about this place due to a random Google search & decided to check it out. I enjoyed every bit of it, gives the proper look into death & how it's been handled over time. They really created a fantastic atmosphere for it too, thoroughly enjoyable all the way. I want to throw a shout-out to the lady who gave it 1 star because she was startled that a museum dedicated to death actually had.... hold on now.... displays about death! Thank you for that laugh & please let me know when you plan to go somewhere else & get upset when they have what they advertise.

Owner was a super nice guy who ran the place himself. So many things in such a small place. It takes at least an hour to really go through and appreciate it all! He has quite the collection with little notes giving you history and background on the items. Not to mention the tour comes with a handy handy laminated guide book that he asks you to saitize before touching. And lemme tell you, he has the good kind of sanitizer, with aloe. Bonus star my dood. ⭐ cant wait to come back!

Checked this place out for the first time today and it was just awesome!! The owner was super friendly and personable. You can really tell he loves this stuff and has a passion for it. Bought some stuff from the shop and walked through the museum. We will definitely be making it a monthly stop to check out new inventory.

Absolutely love this place! Not bad prices for their items, I love the oddities and the death museum! Honestly just dealing with my moms death in November, it was very rough for me and it was a lot of energy being in that part. But if you enjoy that kind of stuff, go for it! You learn a bunch of things but it is creepy! The guy who works there he is very kind and I enjoyed my visit here???? just the energy is very intense in that part of the building.

What a cool little place to visit in the local area. I’m naturally drawn to the unique and quirky, and I thought this place was pretty cool. I won’t spoil what you get to see here, but definitely worth the few bucks to get in and see it. My only complaint is that it’s a lot smaller than it appears, but that being said, I’d go again if they advertised they’ve updated their collection, or if they rotated some new items/displays in.

This place was awesome! Some of the things out front were just a little bit overpriced in my personal opinion, but the walkthrough showcase was incredible! Very informative and everything was nice and decently organized, everything in it was taken very well care of, and I loved the experience! Price for show wasn't bad, ~$10 per person. Very enjoyable experience overall, definitely recommend if you like the weird and creepy things.
